"Autobots, roll out!" ordered Optimus Prime as he and the seven other Autobots transformed into vehicle mode and drove after the group, who were riding in a wagon getting pulled by Sven. Arendelle disappeared from view as they went up the side of a mountain.
"Who's into trivia? I am! Okay!" Yelled Olaf.
"Guess we have all the time in the world to make Mr. Personality tell us everything he knows." Said Wheeljack, who had heard from other sources how talkative Olaf can get.
"Oh, joy." Said Ratchet, who was not looking forward to the next few days on the road.
"Would it hurt to learn more of Earth?" Asked Optimus.
A few hours later, it was now the afternoon and the sun shined brightly through the clear sky.
"Did you know that water has memory? True fact, it's disputed by many, but it's true."
Several hours after that, part of the sky turned pink as the sun started setting. As they went over a grassy hill, they saw Elsa's ice palace atop the North Mountain in the distance.
"Did you know men are six times more likely to be struck by lightning?"
Some time after that, they were now going across the side of another mountain. Olaf's rate at spitting out random trivia facts had accelerated.
"Did you know gorillas burp when they're happy?"
"Did you know we blink four million times a day?"
"Y- Wha- Y... Y- You lost me." Said Bulkhead.
"Did you know wombats poop squares?"
"Wait, now you lost me." Said Arcee.
Smokescreen slowed down a little until he was right next to Ratchet.
"Are they all like this?" He asked.
"Fortunately not." Answered Ratchet.
Later, it became night. Their route had brought them to a stretch of mostly open terrain.
"Did you know sleeping quietly on long journeys prevents insanity?" Asked Kristoff.
Olaf laughed. "Yeah, that's not true."
"It is." Insisted Kristoff.
"It's true." Said Anna.
"Definitely true." Added Elsa.
"No, it's the truth." Added Anna.
Sven moaned in agreement.
Bumblebee beeped. ("I fifth that.")
"I would be inclined to agree with the native lifeforms." Added Ultra Magnus.
"Well that was unanimous. But I will look it up when we get home." Said Olaf.
"Do you always talk this much during these missions?!" Snapped Ratchet.
Olaf didn't answer, and ran out of trivia facts after that, something Ratchet was very thankful for.
Later, the sun started rising as they begun another day on the road. The Autobots continued guarding the rear in vehicle mode as Olaf and Elsa slept in the back of the wagon, all except for Wheeljack, who sat at the very edge of the front of the wagon.
"They're both asleep. So... what do you wanna do?" Asked Anna.
Liking the look on her face, Kristoff chuckled as he handed the reins to Wheeljack.
"Wheeljack, keep us steady, will you?"
"Well I'll try not to scratch the paint on this tub, but no promises." Said Wheeljack as he took hold of the reins.
Anna was ready to kiss Kristoff, but he was totally oblivious, having something else on his mind.
"Anna?" Kristoff cleared his throat. "Anna."
"Mm-hm?"
"Remember our first trip like this when I said you'd have to be crazy to wanna marry a man you just met?"
"Wait, what? Crazy? You didn't say I was crazy. You think I'm crazy?" Said an offended Anna.
"No. I did. You were."
Sven made a noise, as if his way of saying: "Dude, you're making it worse."
"Not crazy, clearly. Just naïve."
Anna scooted away from him.
"Not naïve, just ah, just... new to love. Like I was. And, when you're new, you're bound to, get it wrong."
"So you're saying I'm wrong for you?" Said a now confused Anna.
"What? No, no. I'm not saying you're wrong..."
As Kristoff miserably failed at trying to salvage the situation, the voice called out, waking up Elsa.
"Kristoff, stop. Please." She said.
"Good idea."
"I hear it. I hear the voice."
"You do?" Asked Anna as Wheeljack handed the reins back to Kristoff, who pulled on Sven, making him stop. The seven Autobots guarding the rear stopped and transformed into robot mode.
"Thanks for the ride." Wheeljack said to Sven as he jumped off the wagon, landing on both his feet on the ground.
"Olaf, wake up!" Said Anna.
Elsa led the group of her sister, her sister's boyfriend, her sister's boyfriend's reindeer, their drowsy snowman friend, and eight Autobots around the side of the mountain they were on.
"This is where Pabbie said we'd find it, right?" Asked Smokescreen.
"These are the coordinates." Answered Bulkhead.
As they reached the other side of the mountain, they saw something that astounded them.
"Whoa." Said Kristoff.
"Wow." Said Anna.
They were facing a large wall of thick, sparkling mist hundreds of feet high that stretched for miles in either direction.
"Commander, we've arrived." Said Wheeljack as Optimus and the others lined up to face the mist.
Elsa ran down the hill and toward the mist. Wheeljack transformed into vehicle mode and drove after her, with the other Autobots following suit. Except for Ratchet.
"Make up your mind! Are we walking or are we driving?!" Demanded Ratchet.
Anna and the others ran down the hill just as Elsa came to a stop about a foot or two away from the mist. The others joined her, lining up in front of it. Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Optimus and Wheeljack all transformed back into robot mode. Bulkhead, Kristoff, Olaf, Sven and Wheeljack then started walking towards the mist. Bulkhead deployed twin cannons over his hands as he approached it. Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen then transformed into robot mode, Ultra Magnus deploying a blaster over his left hand while Smokescreen deployed a cannon over his right hand.
"Approach with caution." The Autobot second in command advised.
"Could be rigged to blow." Said Bulkhead as they closed in.
Just as Kristoff started touching the mist, if flashed pink and pushed him away. Sven stopped the moment he saw it happen.
"Whoa! What the...?"
Just as Bulkhead and Wheeljack approached, the mist flashed pink and sent both of them flying back, Wheeljack landing face down and Bulkhead tumbling a few times before coming to a stop, also face down. Olaf ran into it, but the mist flashed pink and forced him out as well. Olaf laughed and tried again, but the results were the same. He seemed to enjoy it, however, 'cause he kept doing it.
"Now we require a means of thinning the mist if we are to have any hope of completing this mission." Said Ultra Magnus.
Elsa grabbed Anna's hand and the two sisters approached the mist as Olaf continued running into it and getting forced out.
"And what exactly is it that you intend to do?" Asked a genuinely curious Ratchet.
Elsa held her open left palm in front of the mist. It magically parted open, revealing four tall, dark gray stones.
"Whoa." Said an astonished Anna.
"How did you penetrate the cloaking technology?" Asked Optimus.
"I didn't." Answered Ratchet.
Bumblebee beeped. ("They did.")
Anna and Elsa observed the four stones in awe. Each one had a different elemental symbol on it. Air, fire, water, and earth.
"Promise me we do this together, okay?" Asked Anna.
"I promise." Said Elsa.
"Better get to work." Said Wheeljack.
"Now you're talkin'! Let's scramble up some spirit circuits!" Said Smokescreen as he punched his fists together.
The group then walked into the clear area, ready to enter the forest. The moment all of them passed the stones, the mist closed back up around and behind them.
There was now no turning back.
