Bella, the Vanderbilt Vampire:

Recap: Bella's POV: Oh goodness. What have I gotten into? Probably should have brought back up.

Chapter 21

Edward's POV:

We had all arrived at our predetermined meeting spot. Well almost everyone. I looked out to the waves crashing along the shore. Where is she?

Brother Jasper called to me. I turned and looked at him. It will be okay. She probably got caught up with something. You know how she likes to help. And that is what worried me.

"Should we start looking for her?" asked Jacob as he too exuded worry for our wonderful Bella. His thoughts were jumbled and almost unreadable. I was getting small snippets of worse case scenarios. I turned to Alice. She might not be able to see. But just in case.

"Alice?" I asked and she held up a hand. I watched through her mind's eye as she searched our futures. She can't see Bella or the wolves, so it is taking her a little work to get around the blind spots. I closed my eyes and watched with her as she flitted past us in several different places along the United States coast. Our expressions never seemed to waver which meant that Bella would still be with us. She opened her eyes as did I.

"We should not worry. I am sure that she is just fine," Alice informed the group as our phones all started beeping with a new alert. I pulled my phone out.

Oh my Bella, what have you gotten into?

Bella's POV:

My hands were still gripping Autumn and Summer's hands tightly as I looked ahead at the fortress before me.

"Where are we?" I asked and examined the heavily guarded castle before me.

"Atlantis." Autumn answered.

"But, I didn't think it was so close to the United States." I replied confused.

"It's not. We travel very fast darling." Summer said and winked. Just then I noticed that their appearances have changed.

"Wow! You two look…" I trailed off and let go of there hands.

"Beautiful?" Autumn asked.

"Normal?" Summer scoffed.

"Well yes." I said a little embarrassed.

"You see dear, down here we get the privilege of looking as we once were. We even get to wear clothes!" Autumn said excitedly and twirled in her floral sundress.

"But no shoes," Summer pointed out and wiggled her toes to emphasize her point. "Shoes are only for the superiors."

"If your looks were revered you would have had several more souls in that quota that you two were talking about earlier," I pointed out.

"True. It is another burden we must bear. The master enjoys our morphed forms and believes that if we cannot lure in men with those forms then we are unworthy of keeping this form. If we do not keep a certain quota, he first strips us of our clothing privileges, then our human physique, and lastly our freedoms. If we are unable to lure men he has made a special dungeon in that castle where he keeps and starves those of us for the foreseeable future. It is a fate worse than death because we cannot die from normal human needs. The only way to kill us is to tear our hearts out. The master has only ever killed one of our kind. She was our fair leader before he and his men stormed the city and took over. Everyone else that disappoints him is shackled in the dungeon forced to endure pain and suffering for the rest of their eternal existence." Summer informed.

"That's horrifying and it ends now." I said angrily and began towards the city.

"Hold on your special Venustus Eligitur Salvatoris. He has men in every crossroads and vantage points. How do you expect to get past an army?" Autumn butted in.

"Simple. I don't. I intend to go through. Now if you trust me. I could use your help." I said.

"What would you need?" Summer asked warily.

"I will take care of the oppressors. All I need is for you two to stay behind me and help anyone that you see that needs it. I will also need you to get everyone out of the dungeon. Send all innocents to this spot. I want to help everyone here. Are you with me?" I asked. And tied my hair back with a ribbon that I had in my pocket. Summer and Autumn looked at one another and nodded before looking at me.

"I'm in!" Autumn said.

"Take no prisoners." Summer said.

"Absolutely. Let's go." I said and we made the quick passage to the gates. Summer and Autumn opened easily enough. I looked at the two guards at either side. Closing my eyes, I felt their energy, black as sin. Alright. I lifted my hands and pointed at each man. They looked at me confused for a moment.

"What are you doing?" one asked.

"Setting things right. Have a nice night." I said and closed my fists causing both to disintegrate in a blink of an eye.

"Woah," Autumn whispered.

"Alright. Both of you go. We have work to do." They nodded and scurried off and began sending women out the gates. I distracted the guards that began coming this way. And by distract I do mean disintegrate of course.

Unknown POV:

So, the insufferable little Venustus Eligitur Salvatoris has come for my kingdom. Looking our the big bay window that was in my office, I watched the little twit plow through my army. My army may be no match for her, but this little girl has no idea who she is facing. She will be sorry she ever came here. I will defeat her. And with her in my control I will have a new unbeatable army. She will not be able to leave and collect souls, but she will prevent another uprising. Serving as a delicious little trophy that I will make sure these little wenches remember until the end of time. No one cross me. Our little Venustus Eligitur Salvatoris will be mine and her light snuffed. I have worked too damn hard for this kingdom. I am not letting it go to an undeserving, weak, pathetic, female. They are all beneath me. This is a man's world. It is my world.

"Arthur," I called my right hand. He appeared at my side instantly.

"Yes, sir?" He asked.

"Bring me my trident." I ordered. "It is time to show these women why I am their master."

"Yes sir." He sniveled before running off to collect my preferred weapon of choice. One I haven't needed since before I took over this hot bed of immortality and soul snatchers.

"Venustus Eligitur Salvatoris you should not have come. I will make certain that you live to regret this until the end of time. I shall break you in every conceivable way possible. You will call me master." I whispered and looked down on her while she cut through my men like a fair mist.
