"What's with all the security?" Asked Wheeljack.
"Lieutenant Mattias." Said Anna.
"Your highness, what are you doing?" Asked Mattias.
"The dam must fall. It's the only way to break the mist and free the forest."
"Indeed, Mattias." Said Ultra Magnus as he turned his hands into blasters and pointed them forward.
"And you are standing in my way."
"But we've sworn to protect Arendelle at all costs!" Protested Mattias.
"Arendelle has no future until we make this right! King Runeard betrayed everyone!" Claimed Anna.
Suddenly, another holographic transmission began as a blue Ratchet and a blue Optimus holding the Star Saber appeared on the ground next to Anna.
"Mattias, if you are anything like Agnarr, I know that you value loyalty and honor." Said Optimus.
"What do you mean?" Asked Mattias.
"Only that Runeard knew nothing of those principles. He lived solely for destruction and conquest."
"How do you know that?"
"Still got trust issues, huh?" Asked Smokescreen.
"The grand deception continues." Said Arcee.
"My sister gave her life for the truth."
Optimus stepped back, revealing Elsa's frozen figure to the soldiers. Mattias looked shocked.
"But there is another path... deactivate the dam." Said Optimus.
"Mattias, I know there are many emotions tied to Arendelle." Said Ultra Magnus.
"And that it's destruction is hardly the ideal way to begin a new age." Added Ratchet.
Bumblebee beeped. ("But this really is the only way.")
"Please, before we lose anyone else." Said Anna.
Mattias thought about it. As much as he hated the idea of allowing Arendelle to be washed away, he hated King Runeard being evil all along and Elsa dying uncovering the truth even more. He deeply exhaled, raised his shield, and hit it with his sword. The other four soldiers followed suit a moment later.
"You lookin' for me, beast? I'm right here!" Taunted Wheeljack.
The Earth Giants looked toward the source of the noise and instantly eyed Anna and Wheeljack.
"Secure the bridge!" Ordered Ultra Magnus.
Anna made a run for the bridge on top of the dam.
"I can help with the last part!" Proclaimed Smokescreen.
"Come on!" Ordered Arcee as she and Smokescreen ran after Anna while the soldiers continued hitting their shields with their swords and Optimus and Ratchet vanished as the holographic transmission ended. Ultra Magnus turned around and faced the giants, with Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Wheeljack behind him by his sides.
"So, uh..." Started Bulkhead.
"We make our stand." Said Ultra Magnus as he grabbed a big yellow battle hammer off his back and held it upright.
"Here and now."
Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Wheeljack activated their guns and aimed them forward.
Bumblebee beeped. ("Over here, you big ugly rocks!")
Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Wheeljack opened fire on the Earth Giants. They all glared as they returned the favor by throwing their massive boulders.
"Incoming!" Yelled Wheeljack.
"Look out!" Shouted Mattias as he shoved one of the soldiers out of the way of an incoming boulder as several landed around them. One flew towards Ultra Magnus, but he let out a mighty tell as he batted it away with his hammer, where it flew back and hit one of the giants in the face. More boulders came flying towards them.
"Down!" Ordered Ultra Magnus as he, Bumblebee and Wheeljack all evaded the same boulder.
Bulkhead, who was still shooting at the giants, saw one coming his way from the side and ducked down, where the bottom of it just barely scraped against his back before crashing a ways away.
"Whoa!"
Ultra Magnus slid under another boulder as it landed behind him and got back on his feet in time to bat the next one away with his hammer, where it flew back and hit another one of the giants in the face, effectively stunning it. Seeing an opportunity, Wheeljack grabbed another grenade off his right hip and activated the timer.
"Fire in another hole!" Said Wheeljack as he tossed the grenade forward, where it landed on the giant's face and exploded, destroying its head and making its headless, lifeless body collapse and flatten a large chunk of the forest below.
The two remaining giants witnessed this and aggressively glared and growled at the Autobots before sending even more boulders their way. Bumblebee, who was down on one knee and close to the edge, was sent flying back as a boulder hit the ground in front of him. He landed on his back, unconscious and defeated, several yards away.
Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus saw a boulder coming at them from the side, and it struck both of them before they could dodge it. Ultra Magnus and his hammer tumbled across the ground to the side while Wheeljack landed face down and slid back. Just as he started recovering, another boulder flew towards him and smashed him into another one. That boulder crumbled into pieces as Wheeljack laid exposed against the other one.
Another boulder flew towards Mattias and the other downed Arendellian soldier he saved not even a minute ago. Mattias covered his head as the massive rock approached, but Bulkhead ran in front of him at the last second and the boulder shattered over his back.
"Mattias, stay down!" Ordered Bulkhead as dust and small pieces of the rock rained down around him.
Another boulder approached Ultra Magnus, but he ran back to his hammer and reclaimed it in time to bat it away at the last second. Another one nearly landed on Wheeljack, but he backflipped over the boulder he was on and the two rocks smashed into pieces on impact with each other as he landed on his feet and slid back. He turned to face where Anna was.
"Come on, Chief! We're out of time!" He said.
Anna, Arcee and Smokescreen ran across the bridge on top of the dam, the two Autobots shooting across the sides of it as they did. They came to a stop in the middle of it.
"Destroy the dam! Come on! Throw your boulders!" Shouted Anna.
One boulder flew through the air and landed close to where they were, taking out a sizable chunk of the walkway.
"That's it!"
Anna, Arcee and Smokescreen ran to the other side of the bridge as more boulders came their way. The last stretch of the bridge leading to the other side was trashed just before they could reach it, and they only barely stopped themselves from falling off.
"Scrap! Exclaimed Smokescreen.
They turned around and ran back to the other side as another boulder struck the dam. The bridge started breaking and fell lower as water started leaking out of the top of it and a fourth boulder made impact. Seeing how fast the dam was falling, Wheeljack reactivated both his arm cannons and yelled as he fired on both the remaining giants with everything he had, but they stopped throwing their boulders at anyone or anything when they realized what was happening. Wheeljack ceased fire and turned around, seeing Anna running across the rapidly weakening dam.
"Anna, if you don't get out of here right now..." He said.
Anna looked ahead as the remaining part of the bridge in front of them collapsed. She, Arcee and Smokescreen all jumped forward at the last second, it was a really long way across...
Bulkhead grabbed Arcee's hand, and Arcee grabbed Smokescreen's. At the same time, Mattias barely managed to grab Anna's hand. Bulkhead struggled as he started bringing Arcee and Smokescreen up while they both dreaded the potential fall. It was a really long way down.
"Hold tight!" Ordered Bulkhead as he started pulling them up.
"I've got her!" Said Mattias.
"Anna!" Called Kristoff as he ran to the scene.
"Hang on!" Said Mattias as Kristoff grabbed Anna's other hand and they pulled her back onto solid ground. Gale flew in and blew upward on the three Autobots, making all of them go airborne and lose their grips on each other. Smokescreen and Arcee landed on and tumbled across the ground while Bulkhead flew into a boulder that shattered to pieces on impact. As Bulkhead and Arcee slowly started recovering, Smokescreen got back on his feet and Bumblebee regained consciousness.
"Autobots, clear the area!" Ordered Ultra Magnus.
Arcee, Bulkhead and Bumblebee transformed into vehicle mode and drove after Ultra Magnus away from the damaged dam as it finally fell, resulting in a titanic amount of water gushing through where it once stood.
"And the walls came tumbling down." Commented Wheeljack.
"Now that was a plan!" Proclaimed Smokescreen.
As a great flood began, a bright snowflake with four different colored corners lit up the sky, catching the attention of the Earth Giants, Gale and Bruni. Behind a waterfall across the forest, Olaf's remains started glowing.
Back in the Well of Ahtohallan, the Star Saber started glowing on its own in Optimus's hand. Elsa remained frozen solid for only a few more moments before she suddenly unfroze. Optimus instantly noticed.
"It would seem the old field medic made good after all." He said.
Ratchet turned around upon hearing Optimus's words and saw Elsa thawed and alive.
"Thank the Allspark!"
A hole appeared in the ground beneath them and Elsa passed out as she, Optimus and Ratchet fell through, the Star Saber glowing and humming in Optimus's grip. They plunged deep into the waters below, where the Water Spirit spotted them from a distance.
The decades worth of water the dam was holding back flooded through the fjord, coming pretty close to the top of mountainous cliffs. It flattened everything in its path as it raged through. Eventually, it had nowhere else to go but straight towards Arendelle, and it was approaching fast. But atop the raging waters, the Water Spirit ran past, with Elsa, Optimus and Ratchet riding it.
All the citizens of Arendelle, who were still on top of the cliffs, saw the approaching flood and started panicking. Elsa, Optimus, Ratchet and the Water Spirit showed themselves as they headed down toward the bottom of the massive wave. Right before it could reach the kingdom, Elsa created a massive wall of ice that held it all back. All the bystanders atop the cliff looked on, shocked. Optimus jumped off the Water Spirit, landing on the rocky area surrounding Arendelle. He ran forward and, swinging the Star Saber with a mighty tell, released a massive beam of energy from it towards the ice and water.
"Now!" Ordered Ratchet.
Elsa released a shockwave that made the ice wall vanish right as the beam from the Star Saber arrived and hit all the water head on, making it cancel out and retreat. The citizens sighed in relief as Elsa and Ratchet turned to face them while Optimus jumped back onto the Water Spirit, the Star Saber still glowing in his hand.
Arendelle was not only saved, it was restored. The wind started blowing naturally, the water came back, the earth settled, and fire returned to the lanterns. Everyone on the cliff cheered and Grand Pabbie nodded in approval.
"I can't wait to share the news!" Ratchet said enthusiastically as he, Elsa and Optimus rode the Water Spirit away, heading back down the fjord.
