Robin stood in the kitchen chopping vegetables to prepare stew. Usually, Sanji was the one to cook for the crew but apparently a woman he flirted with in Water 7 deceived him and gave him food poisoning. That resulted in him falling ill and having his sense of taste and smell that is a great factor to make the most quality of foods he always creates to be useless. They could buy food to eat at Water 7 but Nami was reluctant to spend another beli on more meals that's just going to only end up in Luffy's stomach. The captain's cries and groaning for something to fill his appetite was only getting bigger each second that Robin had no choice but to volunteer to cook as she felt sorry for him.

She grimaced the situation she was in. Standing in the kitchen to cook and clean was something she was all too familiar with back when she was forced to do it when she was a child. She couldn't help but shiver from the memory she so wishes to forget. Though she was hesitant to volunteer she had to make herself useful to the Straw Hat crew somehow. Doubts that they will like her food and hypotheses that they will kick her out or even kill her started to flood her mind. It's only been a few weeks since she joined them and it was still too early to say she has their full trust so everyday she found herself wary of the possibilities that may come if she somehow messes up.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Zoro who came in to refill his water bottle. She was forced to get rid of her negative thoughts and put on a smile as she looked at him to acknowledge a greeting. She continued to chop when he suddenly called out to her which made her freeze.

"Hey, you alright? You look really tense."

She noticed how hard she was gripping the knife which resulted in making her have uneven cuts. Robin let go and forced herself to relax. "O-of course." She responded with a stutter that she so desperately tried to hide.

The swordsman didn't really think too much into it and thought she was just nervous that no one would like her cooking. "Alright," he gulped some of his water and started walking towards the door. "Whatever it is, I'm sure everyone's gonna like it so don't worry too much." He shrugged as he was halfway out, taking one last look at Robin's worried expression. "Afterall, I'm pretty sure our idiot captain would eat everything."

That resulted in Robin to really smile. She felt strangely reassured by his attempt to comfort her. Once she has the chance she'll have to thank him for that as he also helped her get out of her negative thoughts. She was thinking nonsensically before, as she knew the best out of everyone that the Straw Hat crew were not like anyone else. They were not her uncle and aunt, they were not the people in the past, they trusted her and it was her turn to trust them.

Once she set the table up, Luffy and the others immediately devoured the food. They showered her with compliments that were far too exaggerated but nonetheless comforting. She beamed at the sight of them enjoying her food. No wonder, Sanji always looked happy when they ate his meals. It's a very nice result from hard work. Robin wondered if this is how Crocodile felt when she was sick.

Robin awoke from a massive migraine that pounded her head. Instantly noticing she felt fatigued even if she had slept early the night before, as unusual as it was. Though she remembers that she slept on the couch while reading, not on the bed. A husky voice immediately broke her out from her thoughts.

"Finally awake are we?"

She turned her head to see Crocodile sitting beside her coffee table which had a tray of food she had guessed the maids had made. Noticing that the smoke he made from his cigar was making her cough she threw it away on an ashtray. "Cro-crocodile? What is it, what time is it?" Robin managed to say in between her violent coughs. She slowly sat up to feel a wet cloth drop on her blanket from her forehead.

Crocodile clicked his tongue in annoyance. He walked up to her to help her sit properly and placed a towel in a bowl filled with water that was beside her bed. "Hold still, you're making a mess. It's night. You slept the whole day."

Robin gasped from surprise. Never in her life was she this irresponsible. "What!" She looked out to see the window to see if it was true, and as expected the sun was down and the moon was up. "Please forgive me, I didn't mea-."

She was cut off by him ruffling the top of her head, making her bed hair worse than it originally was. "You're lucky this time. If you weren't sick I would have killed you by now." He dragged the chair he sat on towards her bed so he could sit, bringing along the tray of food. "Eat, you have to get better for tomorrow so you can cover the work you missed."

'Well that is comforting.' She thought as he sighed by her incompetence. She stared at the food and particularly the spoon she needed to hold to actually start eating. Robin found that her body hurt too much to move, nonetheless to move. With the last of her strength she raised her arms and looked straight towards him which made her receive a questioning look from him. "Could you feed me? My hands hurt too much."

"W-what?"

"Please?" She tried to look even more sick to try and convince him. As if her profusely red and sweating face wasn't enough.

That led him to drag out a long sigh, as he took the tray away from her and placed it on his lap. "Fine, but you better eat fast."

"But, Mr.0, didn't you stay with me the whole time?" She teased, resulting in him to blush in embarrassment. She put two and two together when she saw his bandaged hand which could have been from making the food, the droplets of water that led back to the coffee table, and the multiple cigars that laid on the ashtray. "Don't tell me you're worried about me?" She weakly giggled with amusement.

He quickly brought a spoonful of food in her mouth. "Shut up!"

Once the food was in her mouth her eyes widened with surprise. Despite her lack of taste, the soup actually tasted good. Who'd known that The Crocodile was good at something other than scheming.

"My mother used to make this for me when I was sick. You better be grateful."

Robin placed her hand on his and gently grabbed it noticing the slight flinch he made when she did. "Thank you, Crocodile. It's delicious." There she saw, his gentle smile he rarely shows. A phenomenon that could be considered a blessing if you see it for how rare it was. She smiled back. Perhaps this experience was worth it for both of them.

A/N: Hello, I hope you have enjoyed this chapter. I just made Crocodile super soft haven't I? Please excuse the grammar errors, I mostly don't reread what I write. Anyway I've been thinking of making an animatic for these two, with the song "Meant to be Yours" from the musical, Heather. What do you think? If you would like to check out my art please go to instagram kattes_moon. Thank you for reading, please review as that will really inspire me.
