Hi, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for how long it has taken me to update. School has been totally crazy and I have been having some trouble with logging into my account. My updates will be probably be coming weekly or biweekly depending on what my schedule is and if my technology decided to not be weird. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it!

Chapter 8:

Theo was leaning against his truck, waiting for Liam after school, with a smirk on his face. To anyone else, all they would see was Theo's trademark smirk, but Liam saw past it. He saw the smile in Theo's eyes, the true smile, the absolute happiness. Against his better judgment, Liam ran to Theo, throwing himself into his arms. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the musky scent of Theo.

"Miss me?" Theo joked.

"You have no idea," Liam said, dead serious.

The two get quickly into the car, not waiting for the inevitability that someone will say something. They are driving to Liam's house when Theo suddenly makes a turn, putting them going away from Liam's house. Liam's confused but much too tired to question Theo about it. In fact, he falls asleep on the drive to wherever his fingers lightly laced into Theo's.

"Liam," Theo gently shakes Liam awake. They are pulled over on the side of the road, next to the forest. Theo drags Liam out with him, pulling him further and further into the woods. By the time they get to the location, both boys are sweating profusely, but neither cares much. In front of them is a shimmering waterfall, crashing down into a pool of water beneath it. Theo immediately begins to strip his clothing off until he is just in his boxers. Regrettably, for Liam at least, Theo jumps in the water before he can properly admire Theo's toned, muscular physique.

"You coming?" Theo calls.

Liam gives him a small smirk, before stripping his shirt and pants off and jumping into the water. When he resurfaces, Theo's arm is immediately wrapped around his waist and his unoccupied hand plays with Liam's wet hair. The two boys play in the water for a while, splashing the other, seeing who can swim to the other side faster (Liam) or who can hold their breath longer (Theo). The sun is setting when exhausted, they finally get out of the water. As they sit on the hot stone that lays around the waterfall, Liam catches Theo giving him an odd look.

"What?"

"Hmm, nothing."

Liam rolls his eyes.

"Seriously Theo, what?"

Theo removes his gaze from Liam's dripping face and looks down at his hands. The next thing Liam knows, Theo is shaking with silent sobs. Without a second thought, Liam wraps his arms around Theo's strong shoulder, running a hand soothingly through the hair at the nape of his neck.

"Everyone hates me."

"I don't hate you," Liam says, though he can smell that it doesn't make Theo feel any better.

"Your pack does, and everyone in this town. I know, gosh do I know how many freaking mistakes I made. I have to live with those every single day for the rest of my life. I have to live with the fact that I am the reason my sister is dead and why other people died. I killed them."

"Oh, Theo you need to stop! I can't deal with seeing you like this. Oh please, please, stop."

"Stop lying to yourself!" Theo was yelling through his sobs now. "I'm a MONSTER! Why can't you see that? I'm a monster!"

"All I see is Theo." Theo scoffs and anger rages through Liam like an inferno. He can't take this. He hates seeing Theo like this.

He pulls Theo to him, kissing him passionately and deeply.

"I love you!" He says when he pulls away, leaning his forehead against Theo's.

Theo starts crying again, clinging to Liam. But this time, Liam can hear Theo whispering "Thank you" over and over again.

That night they have the house to themselves and are able to cuddle together in Liam's room without a care in the world. As they begin to drift to off to sleep, both exhausted from the swimming and the feverish makeout session when they first got into Liam's bed, Theo nuzzles further into Liam. Liam, who has one leg and arm hooked over Theo's body, lets out a small whine when Theo's nose nuzzles into his neck.

Just before both boys fall asleep, Liam here's Theo let out a small whisper that causes him to smile wider than anything else before.

"I love you baby wolf."
