Day: 8
Dear Diary.
It might have been the low oxygen that might have messed with my head, but I forgot to mention a couple things that happened in Bherna before I left for Kotoko village. Actually, just one. I learned a bunch of new Hunter's Art. It was surprisingly easy too! Moving right along. It feels good to be back in sea level again. I feel more active, more aware and just more happy my Felyne companions feel the same as well! Entering the two star quests the guild has approved of me to partake in the quests that are set in the Dunes. Picture beaches, minus the ocean, and add a ton of heat, and sand.. That's the Dunes. I even faced two large monsters in the Dunes as well. First was a Gendrome. The Alpha Raptor. This nasty bird wyvern is similar to the Great Maccao, but it's much slimmer, making it a lot harder to hit, it had a paralytic fangs which got me a couple times, and it controlled a pack of Genprey which were all packaged with the paralytic fangs... Getting bit by one of those were not pleasant.. It felt like my whole body jolting up and my muscles tensing and not relaxing.. Completely helpless.. If it wasn't for my Palicos knocking me out of that state I would have been Gendrome food.. It' wasn't too bad though, I brought my trusty Long Sword and I decided to try out the new Hunter's Art that I learned. The Critical Juncture. It a powerful counter stance where I relaxed my body and mind as I took the counter stance, and when I get struck by a monster's attack, I spring into a slash pouring all my strength in a single slash. I didn't even faint once in that hunt and it felt good! The second large monster that I hunted was the Cephadrome. The Sand Wyvern. This Piscine Wyvern has the ability to swim under the sands as if it was water. It also has it's own little group of smaller monsters called the Cephalos. This Hunt was more annoying if anything.. Other than having the ability to swim under sand, it can jump, glide in air for a short distance, hit me with it's paralytic dorsal fin, and spit sand at me which for some reason gives me water blight.. A blight that hinders my stamina recovery.. Thankfully the Guild supplied me with sonic bombs which emits a high frequency sound wave that blasts the Cephadrome all the cephalos in the area. I brought my Dual blades but didn't use the new Aerial slam Hunter art. Bloody wind and the Absolute evasion was more than enough to turn this over sized sand fish into a full course meal! I did faint once though... Other than the two large monster quests, I spent most of my day doing delivery quests for other people.
Oh there's another thing that I haven't really talked about huh Diary. The Chief of Kotoko. Apparently he was a Hunter who saved the entire village. The old Wyvernian is probably half my size.. but I guess I can take his word for it, since he is a chief. The Chief gave me a couple quests that was set in the Verdant Hills, a native hunting grounds for Kotoko hunters. I personally didn't got because I was a little busy going down the list, but Tuna, my Prowler did visit the place. Before day's end I got my weapons upgrade at least once and took my time cleaning my Bherna gear.. it was filled with sand, blood and monster guts.. Oh one more thing, remember how I said that I would visit the other villages every day? Well guess I'm a liar because I'm going to spend a little more time here.. Not sure when I'll visit the other villages..
I'll see you tomorrow my dear Diary.
-Sese.
Nya'll guess the left over space is for me eh? It's me! Tuna! Meowster and I agreed that I will write anything that happened last! I didn't do much but visit the Purrdant Hills to slay a small pack of Velociprey. With the help of the Palico comrades it was a piece of fish! I wish the Meowster let me hunt by mya self, I want to purrove mya worth!
-Tuna.
Day: 9
Dear Diary.
Today was a little slow, but still eventful. I personally got to explore the Verdant Hills with my Palicos while Tuna volunteered to stay behind to clean my other weapons. I have to say, the place sure was amazing, a Hunter heaven filled with unfound treasure in ever nook and cranny! I spent most of my day gathering, mining, fishing, and catching bugs to upgrade my weapons. I did have one large monster hunt though. I hunted the Velocidrome. The Alpha Raptor (Apparently they get the same title as the Gendromes.) This Bird Wyvern was like the Gendrome, but it lacked the Paralyzing fang of the green counter part. It was a piece of cake. Other than that there wasn't much excitement in the field. A rather slow day, but something DID happen back in town though. I met a rather famous felyne back in Kotoko village. The Street Cook, a member of the Legendary Capital C Caravan! He said that I looked familiar, or my eyebrows.. What's with that? Anyway, the Street Cook said that the Leader of the Caravan was around on some business or something.. It would be nice to meet him! This is a little sudden but I'm going to head to the next village tomorrow morning! Always yours.

Dear Diary nya~
I spent the whole day cleaning and tuning Meowster's weapons! That'll show her that Nyam useful!
Day: 10
Dear Diary.
I woke up early today to pack my things to travel to Pokke Village. The weather was a little gloomy so I was a little worried about the air ship travel to the Village. I was right.. The ride was bumpy and I probably threw up like three times during the flight. It was a rough ride, but I finally managed to arrive to Pokke Village. This village was similar to Bherna in a sense that it was at the top of a mountain range, but the difference was that since it was much up north, the whole village was covered in snow and was a bit colder. I talked to the villagers and they seemed very nice. The Chief was like the Chief of Kotoko Village. An elderly Wyvernian but it was a lady Wyvernian rather than a man. She welcomed me to the village and gave me a little test to see if I could carry my own weight as a hunter. As a test I was allowed to explore the Arctic Ridge. I have to say, the massive snowy mountains and a large and quite stunning lake by the camp was a treat! The cliffs of the mountains looked pretty steep but growing up, exploring, climbing and scaling cliffs of the Moga woods, it didn't cause me any trouble at all! I did have one little problem with the Arctic Ridge though... It was cold.. Very cold... I mean the Bherna gear pretty much covered me from head to toe, but it was obviously not enough layers to keep me warm... With all that the Pokke village chief requested for me to take down a Bulldrome. The Great Boar. I brought my long sword to the hunt and I have to say, the experience was... Unpleasant... Normally most monster would have a tell sign of an attack, but thing thing.. it would go from zero to hundred without even showing for it... Even with all that though, the monster did go down surprisingly quick. When I came back to the village, I met a very familiar face. It was the Itinerant Cook from back home! I know that oddball felyne accent anywhere! The Cook told me that he was doing a little traveling to learn more about different style of cooking and asked me for some help. Ever since I was little the Cook would sneak some extra snacks for me when no one was looking, and we grew pretty close as friends! I agreed to help to help out him out, when I found the time. For the rest of the day I spent my time in the arctic ridge to gather some material for the legendary mafumofu gear. This set was a traditional gear for hunters from Pokke Village, it's thick and well insulated layers were perfect for keeping warmth in, and cold out. When I finished making this armor set (which doesn't look much like armor by the way, just a fluffier version of the Bherna set) I tested it out by heading out to the Arctic Ridge once again and.. It was.. So warm... It was well worth it on making this set! I'll stay for another day and I'll head to the next Village!
New adventure awaits and I hope you'll be there to witness it with me Diary.

Dear Diary Nya~
Meowster got me-ya to do more quests today! I gathered a lot of myaterials for both me and my moewster! There is one thing that I have to talk to my meowster about though.. Her palicos have their own weapons and armor set and I'm running around like a broke felyne who was just fired.. I'd like my own armor set too...
-Tuna.
Day: 11
Dear Diary.
It's my last day here in Pokke Village. I've already packed most of my stuff on the air ship and was ready to go, but half way through packing, I decided to sleep in the village for one more night. There's just one thing that I needed to get done. My Palico and my Prowler's armor wasn't the best. Those cute little felyne bodies can't take as much hits as I can. So I decided to take some time to gather some materials for their own armors. What did I choose? Well, Manl and Pann was my two main palicos that go out to the field with me. So I decided to make them a matching pair of Gendrome and Velocedrome set for them. Now for Tuna, I actually needed to go hunting. The Cephadrome... It was a bit of a pain in the butt, but I decided to take this into an opportunity. You see, I didn't inform you a lot on my Hunting Styles and Arts. Well, I've been pretty much been using the Guild Style. It was a very well rounded style and gave me little trouble, but for this hunt, I decided to use the Aerial Style instead. Two major hunts with my hammer and the Gun lance. Nothing really beats literally bringing death from above. Slamming the lard sharq from the skies with my hammer and Gunlance. It was a little hard to get the timing for my strikes and at times the Cephadrome would just knock me out of the air. I've spent the remainder of my day practicing (And getting my revenge on a rather unpleasant first hunt!) my Aerial Style on a Bulldrome. My light bow gun and my Bow. Taking aim while I'm twirling in the air was pretty hard to do at first but I quickly got used to it. I all my practice from before in the Arena and this was really paying off! Anyway, I'm heading to sleep now and will go to the next village early tomorrow!
Thanks for listening to me Diary.
-Sese
Dear Diary Nya~
I've helped my Meowster pack and clean some of her weapons in the morning and went for a little gathering stroll. When I came back to the village I was purreasantly surpurrised when meowster made me an armor set! It was fashionable and it looked supurr powerful! I'm grateful that I have a meowster that listens to this little Felyne. I'll repay meowster's generosity by helping out even more!
-Tuna.
Day: 12
Maybe it was Pokke Village's climate.. Maybe it was me not eating enough or wearing enough layers.. Maybe.. Oh.. Sorry about that Diary..
Dear Diary...
As I said yesterday, I traveled to the another village on the list. The legendary Yukumo Village. Known for its massive tourist attraction for its famous Hot Springs, which are known for its almost mystical effects on the body. Well during the travel which was only a little bumpy.. but during the entire ride, my entire body felt terribly ill.. As soon as my Palicos and I landed, I took my time to see my breakfast again... Manl took my temperature and he said that it was unnaturally high maybe a cold. It's been forever since I had a cold but I guess even a girl like me would catch one eventually... I mostly skipped the village tour and headed straight to the top of the village where I met the Yukumo Gal and the Chief of the Village. The Yukumo Village's Chief... She was beautiful.. A Wyvernian with a very oriental dress and her face.. She was stunning.. Her speech however, was a little.. condescending? It was almost as if she spoke for me.. Maybe it was in my head. So I decided to take the entire day off.. Maybe I can take some herbal medicine to cure this thing..
Wish me luck Diary..
-Sese.
Dear Diary.
Something was wrong with Meowster today.. She was all wobbly and thrmew up when we landed to the new village. The other Palicos and I brought her to the room purrovided by the village. The Palicos and Nya let her rest and we went out to hunt and gather fur her. Manl, Pann and I gathered ores, bugs, herbs and honey for Meowster, hunt out packs of meownsters and even did hunted our very purrst large meownster by ourselves! But hunting that meowch was quite tiring.. Now I see what Meowster has to go through. I have to what I can to keep up with Meowster and my fellow Palico!

Day: 13
Dear Diary.
I've read Tuna's diary. I never thought he would go that far to show what he could do. I praised him to high heavens and gave him a well earned rest I may have stopped him from writing on you Diary. Oh, don't get me wrong, Tuna is super cute and very helpful, but he's sort of taking up your page spaces you know what I mean? I still love him to death and he proved himself more than capable and I think Tuna understood that too. Getting back on track, the Herbs and honey that the Palicos brought really helped with my Cold that I had yesterday. Oh yeah, I had a cold, but thanks to the Yukumo Village's foot bath, it was more or less cured instantly. The hot spring must have a healing property after all! I'm glad that I was cured from this cold, but it seems like I missed out on a bit yesterday. There were very familiar visitors from other towns. Moga Chief's Son, Fishmongress, Head Moga farmer were visiting Yukumo of all places! The folks from Moga and I had a bit of small chat, them mostly praising me of coming so far as a hunter, and them explaining why they were here, what not. The folks specifically asked me to do some quest for them and I happily obliged. Folks at moga weren't the only ones visiting Yukumo as well. I met the Master Tool from the legendary Loc Lac city (he had a very strange dialect, do everyone from Loc Lac speak like that?), head whiskeress from the illusive Cheeko Sands.I even got to talk to the legendary Guild Master (now apparently retired) of Mingarde village! Oh right.. Hunting... There wasn't much hunting minus a lot of gathering quests. I did hunt down an Arzuros during one of my gathering quests in the Misty Peaks. With the gathered material I managed to make a full Yukumo armor set. I have to say, despite the sickness I'm thoroughly enjoying my stay here. Let's see what other adventure I'll discover tomorrow.
See you then Diary.
-Sese.
Day: 14
Dear Diary.
Today was probably the most busiest day I ever had.
Getting out of the house I met even more visitors, and some were even from my home of Moga! The head farmer was back to give me a quick little request to do some gathering, Head whiskeress was back as well. She was sad that the bamboo shoots that I gathered for her didn't grow back at her home. There were other familiar and new faces as well. First face that I knew and loved was the Moga Sweetheart. She's more or less my childhood big sister. a little eccentric in personality but she can be very mature if it came down to it. She DOES work for the Guild after all. A face that I've never seen was the Loc Lac guide. A felyne that works with the Hunter's Guild and Loc Lac city. We had a small chat on it's favorite food when bathing in the hot springs. Lastly the Chief of the Yukumo village wanted to talk to be about a special assignment. I was requested to take down the Royal Ludroth. Now, as a kid I've seen my fair share of Ludroths and it's well.. Royal variant from a safe distance back home. Now I have an opportunity to take it down myself! Well I would have if I actually had the quest... Turns out that the Royal Ludroth is a bit more of a threat than something like a Great Maccao. It was registered in the three star quest and the Yukumo gal didn't have the authority to give me the three star quests.. I needed to get this little problem solved so I decided to head back to Bherna Village. Well not directly, I had a little detour of visiting the other villages, and turns out it was a pretty smart thing to do. I met even more new faces and more requests! In Pokke Village I met the almost legendary felyne Trenya. A treasure and adventure loving felyne and a disciple of the even more legendary Treshi. The Chief of Pokke requested that I take down the Khezu. I personally don't know what that thing is, but it sounds like it's going to be an interesting hunt! I also made a stop at Kotoko village. Words must travel fast for the chiefs because he apparently knew what I've been doing. The chief of Kotoko praised me for my progress and challenged me on taking down a Yian Kut-Ku. I've also met the said legendary Treshi, an adventurous old Wyvernian who was also the co-founder of the Pokke Village! Not only that I even met other members of the Capital C Caravan. The little miss forge, The Man, and the Wycoon. We chatted for a little bit on why they were here and why I was here as well. Finally I arrived back at Bherna village and the Chief was apparently waiting for me. Turns out he had an Urgent quest for me to complete. Taking on the Tetsucabra. The Demon Frog. It was causing a ruckus in the Jurassic frontier and slowing down the research of the Wycademy to a grinding halt. I brought my trusty hammer and decided to use the Adept style to take on the Monster. The Hunt itself was something else.. Compared to the other monsters that I've faced so far, this was the hardest. It's ability to lift massive boulders from the ground with it's mouth, proceeding to crush the said boulder with its mouth sending large shrapnel. I even carted once for not being careful.. But in the end, one well placed hammer to the face managed to break its two massive under tusks and downed the monster! Returning to the village The chief congratulated me on a successful hunt and the guild permitted me to enter the three star quests. On top of that, I learned brand new Hunting arts, and even met visitors that came to visit Bherna village. The Capital C Caravan's Caravaneer, CCC's Guild Marm who was exceptionally cute, and even the Cheeko Sand Village's Chief. I have to say, two whole weeks of being a hunter is getting my brain to get overloaded with all these information and events. I wonder if the Hero of Moga experienced anything similar.
Tomorrow is a new day with even more adventure ahead of me, since I have the Three star quest available!
I'll see you tomorrow Diary.
-Sese.
