Day: 43
Dear Diary.
I spent the first third of the day in my room staring at the ceiling...
I spent the second third of the day talking to the villagers. In Bherna Village and getting my armor and weapons fixed up.
The last? Well I actually headed over to Yukumo village to buy some healing medicine and take a dip in the foot bath.
At the end of the day I did feel replenished and ready to get back to the hunts!
Well... Tomorrow anyway..
I've spent a long time dilly dallying around. I'm ready to get back to the hunts!.
I'll see you tomorrow Diary.

Day: 44
Dear Diary.
I've started my day more energized but I more or less decided to take it slow.
I've taken a look at the lists of quests and noticed that not only did I have the sixth star quests unlock thanks to my tussle with the Glavenus, I've also forgot to wrap up my list of finished quests in the five star quests. There were only two left. Hunting two Volvidons at the same time and a Hunt-a-thon of Iodromes. An easy warm up to get back into the hunting career.
I've taken no time to finish the quests, and no time to re-open some of my wounds. It would close by the end of the day but thats where my Hunts for the day stopped. Well I've personally finished all my five star quests but there were still Prowler quests that Tuna had to finish. And so he finished them.
Tomorrow I start my Six Star Quests!
See you tomorrow Diary.

Dear Meowery!
It's me! Tuna!
I've been busy training with the other Palicos and Felynes. Around mid day Meowster Sese requested that the Palicos and I finish the Purrowler quests. A Egg-straction here and a small meownster there The Palicos and I were on a roll! The last quest was breaking a head of a Yian Kut-Ku. I purrsonally found these "Break" quests strange. I mean If the Palicos and I went all out we would easily slay the monster but that would result in a failed quests... Nya have to wonder why we have to hold back.. Anyway the Palicos and I broke the bird Meowvern's head and completed the quest. Tomorrow Meowster and we will take on much diffurcult quests.

Day: 45
Dear Diary.
Today I hunted three new monsters that I've never hunted before.
First on the list was the Gore Magala, the Black Eclipse Wyvern. Something about this hunt was awfully eerie... And not the "Khezu is watching you even though it doesn't have eyes" eerie.. Something about this monster gave me a strange vibe.. It's attacks were almost felt calculated, swinging its body around then whipping me with its tail. They say its blind but for a blind monster it knew where I was pretty much all the time.. On top of that it had an.. Element that I've never seen before. Getting hit by one of it's blast made me feel pretty sick to my stomach. And it wasn't just like a little stomach ache.. There was more to it than that.. I felt.. Well... Angry? But as I hunted on and hit the monster I felt a lot better. I thought things were going great, then it got angry... The wings on its back were actually another pair of arms, an antennae popped out of its head and the skies literally turned black as night.. The swift calculated and deliberate movements were more.. savage.. It managed to knock me out once, but in the end I managed to take the monster down.
Back in Bherna I read a little on the monster that I fought. The Gore Magala uses its scales to see by sort of scattering them around, and these scales have a very contagious and almost deadly virus called the Frenzy Wyvern Virus. These Viruses are lethal to most monsters and even to humans like myself. But as a Hunter I can over come the virus when it enters my body by well.. Hitting the monster. Who would have thought?
The second monster was the Zinogre, the Thunder Wolf Wyvern. This monster was all about power, but it had to build it up by gathering fulgur bugs to charge itself up. That meant free hits for me. Eventually it got the best of my by getting fully charged and bursting out in an electrical blast. On top of a power boost and a much more fierce electrical attacks, it got fast.. Really fast. But it was no match for my Gun Lance!
Last was a Re-match against a Glavenus. I might have won the first hunt but it managed to knock me out twice in a very short period of time. This hunt though, I was much more careful, reading its movement. In the end I took the bladed Wyvern down with only one cart under the hunt!
My body is sore once again but it was a good day!
I'll see you tomorrow Diary.

Day: 46
Dear Diary.
Today's hunt featured a Pokke Classic in the blistering Dunes.
Tigrex. The Roaring Wyvern. This monster really doesn't have any special elements or gimmicks.. Well it has a very simple gimmick. Raw power. This monster is all about overpowering preys and hunters alike. It inhabits very harsh environments like the Dunes and the Arctic ridges. Although I haven't seen one in the cold mountains. Well I did hunt one in the Dunes and oh boy.. It was quite fast and furious. On top of its strength its roar was strong enough to send me flying. I had to get my ears checked by the felynes after I was done this..
After that I went back to hunt down another Gore Magala. I feel like I'm almost sort of drawn to it... Hey.. Don't even think that Diary.. I just think it looks nice okay? Anyway Last hunt was with a Light Bow Gun. I kept my distances with the weapon but facing the thing up close.. It was another experience all together.. I almost failed the quest...
Anyway those two hunts alone were enough for one day... I think I need to see a doctor about this Frenzy Virus...
I'll See you tomorrow Diary.

Day: 47
Dear Diary.
I didn't go on a hunt today... I just didn't feel... like myself... I'm not sick like I was a month ago.. This is different.. Ever since that hunts with the Gore Magala.. I felt.. erm... Angry? It's not anger.. Close but not really it.. I asked the Chief Researcher of the Wycademy about the Virus and he gave me some books to read.
Turns out the Virus affects people differently. I guess it makes me feel angry but not really at the same time.. It's really hard to explain this.. but I feel like I need to hunt more.. Or hit something.. When I don't I feel agitated.. At the same time, there's a part of me that's stopping myself from doing anything stupid like going out on a hunt when I know there's something wrong with me... I'm going to take things slow, but I guess starting tomorrow I can return to my hunts.

Day: 48
Dear Diary.
Even though I still have that hard to explain feeling, I decided to go hunting. After all, I AM a hunter after all!
First was the Seregios. The Thousand Blade Wyvern. This flying oversized pine cone was quite the challenge. Similar to the Tigrex, it didn't have a special element, but it did shoot razor sharp scales that blasted into smaller sharp blades.. On top of that it was pretty agile both on the ground and air! I had a lot of trouble taking this thing on even with the insect glaive. Oh oh it also protrudes its scales on its body when it got angry, which was pretty cool.. I guess. Also this apparently super territorial monster made its home in the dunes Ever since the Frenzy Virus incident. Sounds familiar? It was created from the Gore Magala. I needed to read up on this so called incident. About a year ago a mysterious monster started to make the monster go into a frenzied state. This monster was the Gore Magala. The Ace Hunters and the Hunter of the famous Capital C Caravan went to take down the monster or something but the Virus eventually reached a single Seregios and turned it into an Apex monster. Stronger, faster and much more aggressive monster that can also spread the virus around.
All in all the monster was taken down by the same Caravan Hunter.
The second hunt was the Brachydios, the Crushing Wyvern In the Moga Woods. This monster uses volatile and highly explosive slime to hunt monsters and hunters alike.. And boy did I feel the heat on this hunt.. You know I've hunted like two other Brute Wyvern and this one is probably the most agile of the ones I've hunted so far. Constant veering to the sides strong hind legs that can launch the monster from across the field into a power housing slam. Oh yeah.. The slimes.. It's everywhere. It's on the ground and on my armor when I get hit by the monster. It's slimy at first but the texture and temperature also change to a hotter state until it explodes.. I had to roll to get rid of the slimes. I was carted back to base camp twice before I managed to take the monster down.
On returning to the village the chief gave me another quest from the Wycademy. There was a monster high up in the sacred Sanctuary of Cathar, it was causing a lot of trouble for the people there. The name of this monster is the Shagaru Magala. The Heavenly Revolving Dragon. A fully mature Gore Magala that successfully molted out of its dark shell. It was getting pretty late. So I decided to take the monster down tomorrow.
Well Diary, I'll see you tomorrow as always.

Day: 49
Dear Diary.
Well, this was it. My first actual Elder Dragon encounter.
Before I went on that hunt, I decided to do a little warm up. I went to the misty peaks and hunted myself a Zinogre.
Afterwards I took the airship to the Cathar Sanctuary to hunt the Shagaru Magala. It was eerie at the top. This monster was... Something else.. This definitely separated the Wyverns from Dragons.. It almost moved like a Gore Magala. But the movements were more thought out and much more cunning. The Monster also had a wide slew of Virus based attacks. Then, it become angry... It was also something else.. It felt like the end of the world. Viral explosion everywhere... It was maddening...
In the end, one well placed spirit slash from my Long Sword put the monster to sleep permanently. Returning to the Village I had a thought. It's been a long time since I've upgraded my weapons huh... I'll have to get around to that. When I got back the Chief congratulated me on another successful hunt!
This was probably the most difficult hunt I've ever done.. And I feel like this is just the beginning.
