Dear Diary.
five down two to go. I've managed to mine out some more dragonite ores in the Volcano and crafted me more Mizutsune Weapons. Now all that's left is the Gunlance and the Insect Glaive.
I'm so close... As much as I enjoy hunting this monster. I have my limit...

Day: 79
Dear Diary.
Today's Hunt was one of those bad ones.. Not a lot of claws.. I need a handful of these things and my weapons simply wont break them.. I only managed to break one claw with my dual blades of all things.. it's constant barrage of hits ripped the claws right out.
I'm going to talk to the Yukumo chief and the chief of research to get some tips on the monster tomorrow and hunt some more.

Day: 80
Dear Diary.
I've talked to both the Chief of Research and the Yukumo Chief. My boss didn't give me much information other than the ecology of the monster, but the chief who was a hunter in her youth did teach me one neat trick. Sleep Bombing. When monsters get weakened they go to sleep to replenish their strength. OR I can force them to sleep with weapons, ammo or even throwing knives that are coated with sleeping inducing agents. After set a highly explosive barrel bombs next to the monster and BOOM! the explosion deals a lot of hurt to the monster. Why? I hear you ask. When monsters sleep whether its forced or not it relaxes the tension and muscles and when hit by an attack it doesn't have time to tense up resulting a ton of hurt to the monster!
I tried the trick out with my bow that supported a sleeping coat. And several explosions later... I finally did it... I managed to make all of the Mizutsune's Weapons... It took me three times as much monsters to make the weapon.. I gotta say it took me a lot of resources to pull this off adding the barrels, gun powders and other needed items to make this work.. It was all worth it!
I am beat from hunting all these Mizutsunes.. So I'm taking the liberty of making the next couple days a relaxing days of exploration and gathering.

Day: 81
Dear Diary.
Today was a pretty relaxing day.
I've wandered around the Jurassic Frontier and gathered whole bunches of Herbs and Mushrooms to keep my stockpile of Potions and mega potions in check. Sure you can buy potions but I learned to buy them when the shop keep had sales on so I can buy them in bulk. I've been actually spending most of my funds on armor and weapons. And each weapons I upgrade it costs and I need to really save up my funds.. And besides its more fulfilling to wander around and find materials myself after all.
On top of the gathering I got to do some practice swings by myself. If I swung my weapons around in town I'd probably get kicked out and lose my hunter's license.
All in all today was pretty good.
Tomorrow I'll focus on completing my Hunter Rank 1 quests.

Day: 82
Dear Diary.
I've done a lot of gathering quests for the people today. What. You think quests are random list of things for me to kill? Of course not. Quests are given by the people whether its menial or important.
Some are a little silly but most people aren't hunters. They can't simply go to a wyvern's nest and grab a wyvern egg. Which is bigger than my head.
Although.. Some quests I do have to question..
Anyway, tomorrow I start my hunt against the Glavenus to make its weapons!

Day: 83
Dear Diary.
Today was a pretty good day. After my exciting day of hunting I managed to make like three weapons! OUT OF SEVEN!
Unlike the other three out of four of the Fated Fours. Glavenus doesn't have any special hindrance that get in my way. For example, Mizutsune has that ridiculously hard claws, I have to hunt a Gammoth in the snow which she utilizes pretty well. And Astalos might be fragile but hes relentless! Nope, Glavenus is a classic power house with a sword for a tail.. Oh also it has an exploding magma fire ball thing..
Even all with that my new Mizutsune weapons really toned down the hunt!
But, since I'm sore from today's Hunt I'll take it slow tomorrow and complete more Guild Quests.

Day: 84
Dear Diary.
Today was a fairly straight forward and almost lazy gathering day.
I have a huge stock pile of ores and bugs in my chest that can some how hold all that, but I wanted a bit more ores so I decided to focus on mining today.
Iron, Machilite, Dragonite and more These ores are crucial for keeping my weapons pristine and updated! On top of that the whole mining process is a great workout for my back too!
The Palicos helped me out a lot on the gathering quests, keeping my ores nice and filled up.
Now, Tomorrow is another day where I try and cut the tail of the Glavenus!
