Chapter 6
AN: Reply to Bball101 and Tkdgirl, my update schedule is every 1-2 days although the other day I posted two chapters in a day. Reply to Me (that's their username), I will be keeping it T, it's rated that to stay on the safe side, but there will be some interesting dares in the next few chapters (and this one). Also thank you to Airhead, Ms. CammieMorgan and ahhhhhhhhh for your reviews! Keep reviewing! I hope you enjoy this next chapter.
Recap:
I lean down and whisper in his ear. "Aren't you going to even try to get me off of you," I ask, before noticing he was smirking, "What?" I am worried he has some back up plan but he just sits up so that i'm sitting on his lap and whispers, "Why do that when i'm exactly where I want to be?"
"We established he likes you a year ago cam," Macey points out. We were getting ready for bed and I was asking her about what all the things Zach did today: he looked sad when we pranked him, he glared only at me, he made me sit on top of him.
"I don't think so Macey," I say, because I don't think Zach likes me, he just keeps making a move then going back into the shadows. I think he's just using me.
"Are you doubting me Cameron Anne Morgan? Are you saying I am not qualified enough to make a precise guess. I may not be the best at fighting, or the smartest, or can go freaking invisible, but when it comes to boys I think I know what I'm talking about," Macey replies.
"No, I am not doubting your judgement, I am doubting Zach, he's a sketchy guy, we don't know if we can trust him!" Macey bellyflops onto her bed and screams into her pillow. Probably because I wasn't listening to her.
Macey lifts her head and turn onto her side, facing Bex. "On the subject of boys, did I or did I not see Grant kiss you?" Bex denies it but I feel a subtle vibration from the lie detector ring, meaning she was lying. Macey starts picking her nails and Liz is still looking at her laptop screen. I smirk at Bex and she glares at me. Zach is rubbing off on me.
The next morning when we go down to breakfast Macey asks the boys to come up in half an hour and they agree. Me, Liz and Bex are confused because she hasn't told us why.
Back in our room we wait for 29 minutes and 13 seconds before they knock on our door. "You're early," Bex remarks as she opens the door to let them in, "Why did you even ask them to come anyway?"
Macey smirks and says, "They are going to join us for a game, that's why. To be more specific, it's a game of truth or dare!" The boys seem happy about this and sit down on the floor (we were already sitting on the beds and I was NOT sharing my bed with anyone, especially not a boy!).
"I'm not playing," I say but she just replies, "yes you are," and looks towards the boys. I glare at her but she ignores me. "The rules of the game are someone starts, they pick someone who then chooses truth or dare. And no Cammie there are no free passes, especially not for you!" I fake being wounded.
"Well since I don't want to play, i'm starting," I say and turn towards Grant, "Truth or dare?" He pretends to think for a moment before smirking and saying, "Dare obviously!" I try to think of a dare that will swipe that smirk clean off of his face.
"Go volunteer to help Dr Fibs with an experiment," I say. He just shrugs and walks out of the room. "Oh, i forgot to tell him that Dr Fibs needs to test his face cream which is meant to give you really bad acne for a few hours," I say with a smirk.
A good ten minutes later Grant came back into the room, his face covered in red spots. He glares at us as we laugh at him. "Stop staring and lets carry on with the game," Grant grumbles.
Grant turns to Macey, "Macey, truth or dare?" She thinks for a moment. "I think I am going to go with… truth!" To be honest, I am kind of surprised, I would have thought of Macey as the type of person who would want a dare, but since Grant is grumpy about his dare, he probably would have given a pretty tough dare.
"Who do you like? If you like anyone of course," Grant asks. He clearly doesn't know that something is going on between her and Preston. Well, not many people do, she doesn't want it going on the news. "Yes, I like Preston Winters," she pauses before saying, "we are dating actually!" If any of the boys are surprised, they don't show it.
"Zach, truth or dare?" Even though Macey hasn't chosen me, I am worried it's going to be something to do with me because she ships me and Zach. "I dare you to find out what Mr Solomon does in his spare time," Macey says. Thank goodness it has nothing to do with me.
Zach leaves the room and we wait for him to come back. I hope he doesn't catch Mr Solomon with my mom or anything because there have been a lot of rumours going around that they have been caught hugging. I know that sounds innocent and all but that is my FAVOURITE TEACHER and MY MOM. I really hope the rumours aren't true.
After 15 minutes, Zach comes back into the room. Everybody looks at him expectantly. I try to read his facial expressions. I couldn't read it. Obviously. He's a spy, thats how he's been trained.
"He was with Cammie's mom," He finally says. Oh no. I was worried. I was getting ready to march into my moms office and catch them off guard to find out what they were doing. Zach looks at me. "Don't worry Cammie, nothing to do with the rumours," he says trying to comfort me. "What are the rumours?" Grant asks. Bex slaps his arm.
"So what were they doing?" I ask, not really wanting to know the answer. "They were just talking," Zach replied. "What about?" Bex asked, she really wasn't going to let Zach get away with a dare and not say what happened. "I didn't listen, it was a private conversation!" Macey just laughed. "We know you listened, so what was it about?" Zach looked at me for a minute. "They were talking about Cam's dad," he said quietly.
Although I felt sad, I noticed how Zach tried to avoid the subject of my dad, I wondered if it was because of what they were saying about him, or if he didn't want to see me sad. I hoped it was the second one. I also wondered what my mom and Mr Solomon were talking about.
"Let's move on," I say, and Zach nods his head. "Liz, truth or dare?" I doubt Liz needs any time to think. "Truth!" Zach smiles, he clearly already knew that she was going to choose this. "Do you like Jonas?" he asks. Liz blushes. "I do," she replies quietly. Jonas smiles.
Jonas leans in to kiss Liz on the cheek just as she turns to look at him and they accidentally kiss on the lips. They both blush violently and look away. We all laugh. Liz decides to say something. "Jonas… I was wondering if you would like to be my boyfriend?" Jonas blushes even more, so much he now resembles a sunburnt tomato. "Yes I would," he replies smiling. Everyone else is smiling apart from Zach, who was smirking. He clearly felt this was his doing. I glare at him. He just smirks even more, if that is even possible.
"Sorry to break up the cute moment, but this is getting kind of boring. It's time to turn up the heat," Macey says. I am worried about what she means when she says 'turn up the heat'. I clearly won't have to wait long.
"Girls and boys, we are upgrading, from truth or dare, to strip truth or dare!" Macey accentuated the word 'strip'. I felt like I was dying inside. And that's saying something, i've been tortured by a worldwide organisation that is renown for killing people. Truth or dare is bad enough, but strip truth or dare? Can I point out I am wearing a tank top, pants, a bra and underwear.
"Please no," I say, as if I am going to change Macey's mind. "We are playing, so let me explain the rules. You ask someone a truth or dare and if they don't do it, they have to strip!" I just pray that I don't get chosen first. "The only reason you're okay with playing this is because Preston isn't here to see you strip," I say. "I would be perfectly okay with Preston being here, mainly because I can complete all the truth or dares I had been given,"she replies.
"Fine, let's just play," I say. I remember Liz was the last one to do a truth or dare so it was her turn to pick. Obviously I didn't want her to pick me but the fates were against me today, and I saw Liz turn towards me.
"Truth or dare?" Liz says. Damn it. "Dare," I mentally curse myself for choosing dare. But it's fine, I'm used to making bad decisions. But it's probably fine, I doubt Liz could think of a dare that's too bad.
"I dare you to have seven minutes with heaven, with Zach, in the bathroom," she says. I take back my statement. Liz can think of bad dares. Everyone stares at her, surprised she could come up with such a thing. But the moment was over when she looked at my with her eyebrows raised, as if to say 'I dare you'. I was screwed.
AN: I'm so sorry it's been a while since I posted, I was so busy! I have already prepared the next few chapters so I should be able to post one every 1-2 days like I said. I hope you are starting to find it more interesting. I can guarantee more interesting chapters coming up! Please review ideas for truths and dares, I may need some more inspiration than I already have.
