"So what are your plans for the day?" Sam asked.
"probably just hang around here and watch tv or something. What about you?"
"work and then a few errand."
They then started to make out. He then started to sucked down her neck until she pushed him off.
"what's wrong?
"Your going to be late."
"oh shit."
He then got ready and then left. While sitting stuck in traffic, he reached for and gave his aunt a call.
"hello?"
"hey sharpay."
"Sam what can I do for you?"
"I was wondering if you could do me a little favour?"
"what is it?"
"well Gabriella is coming in later tonight and would you mind picking her up?"
"not at all"
He then said thanks and hanged up. About 10 minutes later, he arrived at work. About 8 hours later, Sam was on the way home and had pulled up into the driveway when his cousin ran towards him.
"Sammy."
"yes Miranda and what can I do for you?" He asked lifting her up.
"Brooke's being mean."
"yes and I don't know why." She said looking innocently with her brown eyes and blonde hair.
"ok well let me look into ok?"
"ok" she then ran off.
he he then went upstairs, got changed and came downstairs. he then seen Brooke sitting down at the table looking at something.
"hey your home early."
"yeah. So apparently you were being mean?"
"well she wasn't listening so she wasn't getting her own way."
He then smiled and gave her a kiss and alittle more.
"now mister, we're going to have company soon for a few days. Do I have to be mean with you?" She said jokingly.
"I don't know. How much do I have to act up?" He said grinning." Im kidding babe. Besides Peyton soon be here to pick up Miranda son, so we'll have the place to ourself for awhile."
Just then Peyton came and took Miranda and left.
"so did you get to relax at all?"
"not really. So what time do she get in?"
"in a couple hours."
"ok so you'll sleep upstairs and I'll take downstairs."
"No. I'll take downstairs."
"Are you sure?"
"yes"
about three hours later, Gabriella had settled in and the three of them were just talking.
" So is he still angry?"
"I think so but it's more disappointment more then anything now."
They then continue talking until they went to bed. The next couple of days was spent looking around at the city and other stuff. Gabriella was currently chatting with Ryan for the first time in years in person.
" so how are things?" She asked him.
"so hectic. work alone is a pile load alone and then throw in Sam into the mix"
"yeah I heard that you been giving him a hard time lately."
"well he's always doing something stupid anyways. I mean who has someone knocked up before they are married?"
"umm didn't you do that Ryan?"
"we actually were. Those two are not."
"actually I'm not suppose to say anything, but the two of them been engaged since after christmas." Ryan then just got quiet. "It's funny really."
" what is?"
" You and Troy are so similar but so different. I meant the way you just act, was the exact same way. I mean if it was me I'd be the same way, but I think that the two of get together and talk."
"me and Sam have already. Many times."
"not with Sam, Troy. I meant when was the last the two of you were in the same room? I mean your going to be family soon."
"ok fine. If it gets you quiet then yes. So what new with you?"
" Not much really."
" so why did you leave here gabs? I mean come back up here."
"I would love to but Troy likes it down there."
"if you could get him to change his mind, your always welcome."
they then chatted some more until Ryan had to go. later that night, Brooke and Sam were talking about things.
"you been quiet lately." Sam stated.
"thinking."
"what about?"
" I don't want to live here."
"what do you mean?"
"I want to move back home."
"oh"
"don't get me wrong I like it here."
"then what's the problem?"
"I see this place as a vacation spot."
"well I can't just up and leave here. Besides this is where all my friends and family are too."
"and so are mine."
sam then let out a hefty sigh. " this isn't going to work is it?"
"I guess not"
"want to just wait and see how things turn out?"
"ok" Sam then went downstairs and Brooke went to the closet. while she was looking through it, she came across the locket that Matt had given to just before Jason's wedding.
"where are you Matt when I need you?" she thought. She then sat inside the closet and closed the doors.
