"Shut up Wiess." I said smiling
"Hey at least you past and you could stay here with us." Ruby smiled
"Thanks Ruby." I said smiling at her.
"Hey Ethan during your fight you had a scar on your back and you could have killed the beowolf quickly but why didn't you?" Yang looked at me
I sat up slowly and looked at all of them.
"I guess you all deserve an answer. When I was little I live at a village called the Krishi village. My dad took my sister with him and left me at the age of 7 so its only been me and my mom. My mom gave me this sword, it was my grandpa's katana. She taught me how to use it and how to fight. After 3 years my mom showed me how to kill beowolves, it took me a couple of tries but I finally killed one and that is how I got the scar. You girls should have seen her. When she smiled it was like it was my birthday. Then one day I went out to get some food for my mom but when I got home I found-" I started crying before I finished.
Ruby let go of the ice pack and held my hand.
"Ethan. It's okay, you don't have to tell us." Ruby said.
"No. I want to tell you girls because I have been keeping it all inside of me." I looked at Ruby and smiled.
"When I got back to the village I found it destroyed. There were dead bodies everywhere and beowolves too. My mom was on the ground about to die. I tried everything but nothing worked. She rested her hand on my face and her finally words were." I started to look at them.
"Her finally words were I love you." I said about to cry.
The girls looked at me with sad eyes.
" I'm sorry." Blake said
"She was a great fighter." Weiss said
"She was brave." Yang said
"She was a great mother and a lovely woman." Ruby said hugging me.
Everyone was quiet for a while.
" I'm going to go train for a little, see you girls later." I said breaking the silence.
"Hey Ethan, is it okay if I go train with you?" Ruby asked.
"Sure. Let's go." I smiled.
