Galndrael: Thank you. And this chapter answers you question...all before the first break.
Guest: Don't spoil my Kisame fights! All of them! SHHHHHHHHHH!
SPeCTeR-ll7: You're telling me Danzo doesn't give you pedo-bear feelings? That's just me?
Wolvmbm: Well Naruto has been training, but his fights and these chapters don't quite show the slight (and I say slight because it's only a month. Yes he spammed shadow-clones but compared to his previous level it wasn't a massive increase), increase in his strength. He fought an opponent he frankly lacks the capability to beat right now and then outright murdered the other in one of the most brutal fashions possible.
Konoha Crush
Sakura instantly freed herself from the genjutsu before it had fully taken control, glancing around to scan the situation at hand. Naruto, Choji, and Kiba were out cold. Shikamaru was faking being asleep, for some reason, Ino was up and Tenten was gone, likely fighting with the enemy. Hinata was awake, defending herself from an attacker with the help of Sasuke. Shino was nowhere to be found.
Sakura immediately got to work, freeing Naruto, Choji, and Kiba from the genjutsu they had been placed under, watching in awe as she saw a multitude of bodies engaging in combat, many launching jutsu.
"What the hell is going on," Kiba shouted, eyes wide. "I think we're being attacked," Sakura said. Kiba's eyes widened. "No way…"
"Yes way!" Anko said as she landed next to the Genin. Noticing Shikamaru pretending she wasted no time in kicking him in the face, causing him to glare at her. "Your village needs you slacker! Oto and Suna are attacking us! I want you guys to get out into the village and protect the civilians. We have no idea what's going on there. This is an A-ranked mission! The mission leader is Naruto!"
The other Genin's eyes widened, "Naruto! Why him?" Anko rolled her eyes. "I've known him the longest, I know what he's capable of," Anko stated as she deflected an attack from behind. The Suna ninja's eyes widened as snakes shot from her sleeves, ripping his neck apart.
"Now get to it!"
Naruto, Sakura, Kiba, Choji, Ino, and Shikamaru wasted no time in moving, quickly leaving the stadium, and taking out any enemy shinobi they could on the way.

Shino shot forwards, chasing after Kankuro and Temari, only lagging because he was unprepared for such a quick maneuver. He landed on the ground, glaring at Kankuro and Temari. They couldn't see it though. "Where do you two think you're going," he stated, in a monotone voice. Temari and Kankuro glared at him, clearly prepared to battle until Baki appeared in front of them, smirking at Shino. "You two get out of here and get Gaara into position. The battle has only just begun."
Temari and Kankuro nodded, grabbing Gaara preparing to disappear, however Genma appeared in front of them, smirking as he fumbled with the senbon in his mouth. "Going somewhere?" Gai appeared behind Shino, a hand on the boys shoulder. If Shino was surprised by his sudden appearance he didn't show it.
Baki cursed, realizing when he was in a difficult situation. He had two Jonin who were very well known for the skill fighting him down. Without Gaara to back him up – he hated admitting he needed a Genin's help, despite how powerful they may be – he was afraid he couldn't win.
However that didn't mean he wasn't going to try. Baki immediately launched himself at Genma, who sidestepped the charge, preparing to clothesline him, but Baki somehow stopped his momentum, instead kicking Genma's legs from under him. Genma cursed, landing on his hands and spinning, attempting to kick Baki in the head but it failed as Baki jumped back. The second Baki landed Gai shot forwards, a kick striking Baki in the chest and sending him skidding backwards. He only didn't fall due to the slab of rock behind him. Baki growled at the duo, before noticing Temari rising, her fan fully unfolded.
"No!" Temari's plan of attack stopped instantly, surprised by her sensei. "You can't beat them. Get Gaara to the designated location!"
Temari growled, clearly unwilling to abandon her sensei but nodded, and with Kankuro she rushed up the wall of the arena to safety, Gaara with them. Shino pursued them quickly.

Jiraiya groaned. He was not having a good year. First his godson abandons him, and then the village gets attacked. He was really pondering what was next, Orochimaru killing Sarutobi?
He bent his legs as once against one of the toads of his contract jumped, coming down towards the three-headed snake that was proving to be a large problem for the village. The toad drew its blade, swinging violently, however the snake proved to be versatile, dodging the strike and lashing out with a bite. The toad was quick to dodge, wary of the snake's flexibility. It was no fool. It knew it would die if the snake managed to grab it.
Jiraiaya patted the green toads head. "Shikuchi do you think you can handle this?" The green toad nodded, bringing its swords down once more, this time nicking the snake as a slithered backwards. Jiraiya nodded, grateful as he noticed two large groups of Oto and Suna ninja. One group was headed towards the T&I Department while the other was heading towards the Academy. Jiraiya made the easy choice, charging towards the group headed towards the Academy. The group headed towards the T&I Department would have hell once they found Ibiki. He would massacre them.

Sasuke bisected another Oto ninja, frowning as in the panic he had lost Hinata. He wasn't particularly worried she would die, but he knew that if any harm came to her Naruto would kick his ass. It was the only way – in his mind – that the blonde could actually beat him in a fight. However suddenly he was kicked into the air, being sent flying through the wall and into the open air. A large man followed him, his fist expanding as he launched a punch that sent Sasuke careening into a nearby building. Sasuke groaned as he stood, grabbing the Kubikiribocho and glaring at the man in front of him.
The man had short-slicked combed back brown hair that had grey-colored eyes. Sharp teeth poked from his closed mouth and Sasuke noticed his extremely long arms that trailed down, slightly passed his knees.
"Who the hell are you? The only people with abilities like that are the Akimichi." The man said nothing and instead seemed to shrink, before he shot forwards at nigh-impossible speeds. Sasuke hesitated at the speed, and would have been hit because of this hesitation had it not been for his Sharingan.
Sasuke barely dodged the man's punch, noticing that his fist grew to twice the size of Choji's as it punched through a wall. He cursed, swiping downwards with his blade in an attempt to cut off the man's hand, yet the hand shrunk, making Sasuke miss. The man then jumped, launching a kick that Sasuke blocked with his forearm, yet the pure force still sent him through the roof, the man quickly following. Sasuke landed on his feet, glaring at the person in front of him. Stabbing his blade onto the roof of the apartment the duo were standing on he weaved through handseals. "Musō Gōendan (Peerless Great Flame Bullet)!" Sasuke opened his mouth, spewing forth a fireball even larger than that of the Great Fireball, burning the tiles on the roof.
However the man raised a hand. "Tajuu Doro Dangan Jutsu (Multiple Mudshot Jutsu)!" The man opened his mouth, revealing several chunks of mud that shot from it, stopping the powerful fire jutsu before it had reach him. Sasuke glared at the man before him, picking up the Kubikiribocho once again, electricity sparking off of it.
"Who are you," Sasuke said, grumbling. He was irritated. This man had some sort of ability that gave him the characteristics of an Akimichi, but he clearly wasn't. He wouldn't be attacking him if he was. It could mimic their jutsu's seemingly though. It was something that shouldn't be possible.
"Dozu," he man said before he stepped forwards, cracking the tile on the roof by the small gesture. "And Sasuke Uchiha…you are coming with us."
Before Sasuke had a chance to ask who us was referring to a blinding cloud of smoke cloaked the area and he heard a laugh.

Naruto and his quickly assembled team stood, shocked at the shit-storm that was going on in front of them. Chaos was everywhere, with civilians screaming, shinobi running and fighting everywhere and lastly, perhaps most importantly, summoning creatures brawling in the open streets.
Naruto could only think one thought.
'Who would have had the capability to organize all of this?'
Sakura glanced at Naruto. "Naruto, orders!?" She was beginning to panic. Naruto was frozen and people all around them were in danger. However her words seemed to snap Naruto back into reality.
"Alright we'll be splitting up. We have to much ground to cover and not enough people to do it in one large group. Hinata, Sakura, Kiba, you three cover the west residential area and the Academy. Anyone without a Konoha headband and isn't a civilian…feel free to use lethal force. Shikamaru, Choji, Ino you three cover the east side of the residential area."
"What about you," Shikamaru asked. He didn't really want to know per se, but he wasn't going to let Naruto take on an entire army by himself. He was a friend.
Naruto sighed. "I'm going to cover the south residential area. The north has the most concentrated amount of shinobi in it so they should be fine."
Sakura shook her head. "Naruto that's suicide, even for you! You can't hope to beat an entire sector of enemy ninja by your lonesome! Let some of us come with you!"
Naruto sighed. "Sakura you seem to be forgetting two very important things. First off, out of all of you I'm the strongest, I can handle the most. Not to mention the fact I'm a one-man army. I'll be fine."
Sakura was unclear whether or not Naruto was talking about the Kyuubi or his clones.
"This isn't the time for hesitation, move!" Despite Naruto's ironic statement the Genin shot forwards, separating individually.

Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji landed on the ground, immediately scanning the battleground for problems. They saw it in the fact that a large group of Oto ninja was currently engaging with a group of Chunin and winning. Shikamaru immediately formulated a plan.
"Choji, get all of them with a surprise attack. Once he does Ino mind control one of them and start attacking them from within." The duo immediately nodded, Choji shooting forwards, going deceptively fast for his size and launching a punch. His entire arm grew to massive sizes, yet still easily dwarfed by Gozu's. The blow still caught the Oto ninja by surprise, sending them all flying. The Konoha Chunin looked at Choji with appreciation, however they immediately rushed towards the Oto ninja in an attempt to finish them off. Shikamaru just barely stopped Ino from transferring to one that was about to be killed.
The kunai by the Konoha Chunin was driven through an Otogakure ninja's neck only for it to burst into bats, swarming the ninja. The other Chunin glanced at him, preparing to assist, however the bats flew away, leaving a bloodless Chunin in their wake.
"Pretty impressive," came a voice. "But can you beat me?"
A creeping darkness suddenly began to shoot forwards, covering the entire area in a dome of darkness.
"Especially when I'm in my own element?"
Choji frowned, very tense, barely able to see two feet in front of him. He heard footsteps next to him and immediately lashed out, however a voice stopped him from connecting.
"Calm down Choji." Choji recognized Shikamaru's voice. "Shikamaru what do we do?" Ino mumbled, a sense of dread going down her back. Shikamaru sighed. "Sadly we can't do much. I'm the only one adapted to this battlefield."
"What do you mean," one of the Konoha Chunin asked. It was no surprise. They couldn't seem him, so clearly they didn't know who they were talking to.
"The Nara Clan uses shadow-based ninjutsu for a reason," Shikamaru stated. "We're trained in utter darkness from the days we can walk. It's part of the reason why many think we're all geniuses. We were forced to adapt our brains into how to work in the dark so to speak. The rest of you likely can't see more than two feet in front of you, but I can tell where everything is just by my sense of hearing. Not to mention my sight is so well adapted to the dark that I can see fine."
Ino tensed. "What are you saying?" Shikamaru sighed. He wasn't going to like this part, he was not going to like it at all. "I'm saying the rest of you need to get the hell out of this darkness sphere and leave me to fight against this guy, I'm the only one who can actually do it here."
Choji and Ino were about to argue, however the group of Chunin cut them off. "Alright. We leave it in your hands Nara kid."
Shikamaru nodded and was relieved when he heard several bursts of chakra as the Chunin leapt as far as they could, praying to Kami that they wouldn't run into anything, especially anything that could kill them. However he glanced at Ino and Choji. "What the hell are you guys still doing here?"
"We're not abandoning you," Choji stated. Ino nodded. "Yeah, no way are we leaving you to die."
Shikamaru would have answered however he was to busy tackling his teammates to the ground so they were devoured by the swarm of bats that flew by. Ino shrieked as she heard the bats cry out.
"Once again I rest my case." Shikamaru said. "Get the hell out. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Do your job, protect the civilians."
Ino and Choji frowned. "But-"
"No buts, now move your asses! This is enough of a pain fighting him as it is!"
Choji and Ino frowned, clearly not happy with the situation but stood nonetheless. "Don't you die on me bastard," Ino stated before she shot off. Choji however simply looked at Shikamaru, giving him a cold stare that he knew the Nara could read just fine. Shikamaru sighed.
"Right…I got it…don't worry."
Choji nodded and shot off. Shikamaru smirked, feeling as though he had two hands on his back, one Ino's and the other Choji's. Shikamaru nodded.
'I'm not gonna die…idiot.'
Shikamaru barely dodged another strike from the batswarm.
'I think.'

Kiba growled as he was sent flying through a wall, the explosion having rocked his entire body. He groaned as he stood, glaring at the man in front of him. The man was easily weaving through Hinata and Sakura's attacks.
The man had a feminine appearance, but it was obvious he was a male. The male wore a full-body slime suit, his face the only uncovered part of his body. Dark green lipstick coated his lips, and his eyes were wide open, with a tuft of pink hair coming out of the suit.
Nurari he said his name was. And body was he giving them a hard time, along with that other one that was with him.
Speaking of which Kiba and Akamaru sprang into a sprint once more, barely avoiding the missiles they exploded and destroyed an entire house upon landing. Boy was he happy the first one hadn't hit him, only the force of the explosion had. Kiba growled.
'Damn me and my big mouth,' Kiba muttered. 'But I haven't been sitting on my ass this entire month! I'll show Hinata right here why I'm better than Naruto!'
"Let's go Akamaru!" Akamaru barked, jumping on Kiba's back. With a quick use of Jūjin Bunshin (Beast Human Clone) Akamaru had become a perfect copy of the Inuzuka. Chakra began to leak off of Kiba and Akamaru, the due snarling. Akamaru suddenly noticed something and shot forwards, attempting to cut the attacker in half. However the man jumped easily avoiding the attack before shooting several missiles from the rocket-launcher that was connected to his arm.
The man had pale, pasty-looking skin with white hair. Dark, blue-framed glasses with orange lenses covered his eyes. A dark purple cloak with orange outlines cloaked his body, with blue pants covering his legs. Geta that were tan covered his feet.
Kiho certaintly was illusive.
Akamaru barely avoiding the incoming explosives, and didn't even bother to register the smoke that was generated by the explosion. Kiba however was still active, unlike the airborne Akamaru and launched himself at Kiho. However, Kiho was not incapable of fighting back despite being in midair. The rocket-launcher aimed itself at Kiba's head and fired, but the younger Inuzuka was ready. Only his trained animalistic-like instincts allowed him to dodge the rockets, before he lashed out with a swipe of his clawed hands, aiming to carve out Kiho's throat.
Kiho however blocked the strike with his arm, kicking Kiba in the face and sending him spiraling backwards. Kiba slammed into the ground, groaning with pain, unable to register the missiles coming at him from a distance. Only Akamaru's quick-thinking saved him from a quick and painless death.
Kiba hopped to his feet, nodding to Akamaru before he growled at the man in front of him. Kiho laughed, aiming his rocket launcher once more and fired.
Meanwhile, Hinata and Sakura were having problems with their own opponent. They man was impossible to hit as his body contorted in impossible ways, reminding Sakura of a snake. This proved problematic as Hinata couldn't hit him in any of his tenketsu, and the man broke any genjutsu Sakura put on him almost instantly.
Nurari's back spiraled, avoiding Hinata's precise strike before he sent Hinata and Sakura through the air, his arm batting them aside. The duo managed to flip and land on their feet, however Nurari's arms seemed to stretch impossible, already on the assault once again. It was like they were fighting separate entities.
It wasn't good Hinata still wasn't fully recovered from her fight with Neji. With the amount of chakra she had left, using the Juken: Gādianraion-shin (Gentle Step: Guardian Lion God) would be suicide. She'd die of chakra exhaustion within the first five seconds.
Hinata found herself once again lamenting her own weakness. Sakura however was frustrated for an entirely different reason. She was injured from her fight with Sasuke but she was much better off than Hinata was. However, nothing she threw at the guy to slow him down – because Kami knew nothing she threw at him without slowing him down would hit – managed to actually do it.
"Damn it!" Sakura muttered as she avoided another punch, drawing a kunai and lashing out at the trailing arm. However the kunai just missed, and she had no time to prepare as Nurari was suddenly in front of her, lashing out with a kick that seemed to extend from his body to no end, slamming her into a wall. Sakura coughed up blood, groaning as Nurari's leg retracted.
Hinata shot forwards, taking advantage of Nurari's momentary lapse in attention to launch several strikes at his tenketsu. Elongating his body like that required the use of chakra, and if she could shut down his system they wouldn't have to worry about his long-ranged attacks. Yet the Oto-nin clearly was paying attention as he leaned to the side at an angle that should have broken his back, before cartwheeling away, kicking Hinata in the chin simultaneously. Hinata's jaw snapped shut.
Nurari however wasn't done, raising his hands as he attempted to finish off Hinata.
"Nensuikai (Viscous Water Mass)!" An oval shaped ball of liquid peeled off of Nurari's suit before he hurled the ball at Hinata. Hinata eyes widened before she was struck by the liquid being sent flying to a wall where she stuck solidly.
Nurari smirked, preparing to kill the Hyuga right then and there, however a fist suddenly impacted with his side, sending him skidding aside. He glared a hole at Sakura who stood, a liquid covering her fist.
'What the hell? It's like birdlime?'
Nurari frowned. "You…you are going to pay for that. That was rude…very rude!"
Sakura smirked, glancing at Hinata in a message that obviously stated to get out quickly.
"Please, if you consider that rude than you have no idea how mean I'm about to get."

Naruto touched down in the center of the south residential district and was immediately confronted with problems. A swarm of Oto and Suna ninja raced around the area, looting houses and killing civilians. Naruto cursed, shouting. "Hey bastards! Bring it on!"
The enemy shinobi noticed Naruto and immediately shot towards him. They had all been warned about him. The Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. Their orders were to capture, however none of them thought about that, few did when it came to a Jinchuriki. Their only thought was to kill him before he lost control of the beast that was laying dormant inside of him.
Naruto smirked as they raced towards him. "I haven't used this in a while, so thanks for giving me the opportunity. Clearly you haven't done your research! Fuuton: Kūki no Uzu (Wind Release: Air Vortex)!" The sphere of wind shot from Naruto's mouth, expanding at a much faster pace than usual. Few of the shinobi in front of him actually noticed it, and thus many of the enemies were decimated before they could have done anything to stop it. Naruto smirked, cracking his knuckles.
"Let's get the pain-train underway then huh?"
Naruto shot forwards, not bothering to take off his seals. What was the point? This guys were way to slow to keep up with him anyways, considering their speed from a moment ago, and that was counting the new restriction his new clan-made seal gave him. The Oto and Suna ninja dropped like flies. Naruto scoffed.
"I really hate killing…but this was pathetically easy. Were this guy's fresh newbies or something?"
"Actually they were cannon fodder until I got here." Naruto turned, noting the female voice as he looked upon a woman. The woman sported red lipstick with fair skin. Dark eyes bored holes in Naruto's head, with light blue hair beautifully framing her face. Her hair was styled in a ponytail with two long strands framing her face. A green dress with a long sleeve and a short right one clothed her. Brown, calf-length sandal boots covered her feet.
"Hello Kyuubi Jinchuriki. I have orders to capture you."
Naruto snorted. "Really? Well then go ahead. And tell your boss that they can go suck a dick."
The woman laughed, it was melodic, enticing. Naruto had never heard such a lovely laugh. Not to mention he had never seen such an attractive women, other than Anko, Margaret, and Kurenai of course. He put this woman in the same class as them instantly.
'Why do I have to fight a beautiful girl?' Naruto thought, but he had no time to continue his complaining as the woman shot forwards at speeds he could barely comprehend. Of course the fact that he still couldn't physically keep up meant he still wound up getting hit by her kick that sent him flying, skidding along the ground. Naruto cursed as he rolled on his feet, however the woman was already in his face, flipping and wrapping her legs around his head before she spun, lifting Naruto off of his feet and slamming into into the ground while she landed gracefully on her feet.
"Is that the best that you have?"
Naruto growled, the seals around his body deactivating, all of them that were restraining his speed. "Oh trust me, I'm just getting started."
The woman laughed. "I doubt that. You couldn't hold a candle to me."
Naruto glared. "Prepare for me to fix that!"
The woman smirked, dropping into a stance. She may have been confident, but she was no idiot. She noticed the seals that had disappeared from his body. She wasn't going to take any chances. She didn't know what he had just undid. For all she knew the Kyuubi was about to roam free once again.
Then Naruto vanished, at least that's would it would have looked like to anyone who bothered to watch. The ladies eyes tracked him, seemingly lazily despite how acute she was. She weaved backwards, easily avoiding Naruto's punch before spiraling inwards, getting in his guard before he could do anything and launching a punch that he barely blocked. However, the force still sent him skidding backwards.
Her form hid her true strength that much was for sure.
Naruto frowned. 'No way! Even after all the training I've done she's faster than me!'
"Who are you," Naruto asked.
The woman smirked. "Guren. Now, it's time you come with me."

Not much surprised Danzo Shimura.
Hardened by war, the man was the prime example of a militant who took things to far. He made Hiashi look like a child in comparison. Not to mention the man broke people from their emotions as if it was his paid job. He expected the Nidaime to die when he fought the Kinkaku Squad, he had expected to fail in his quest in becoming Hokage, he had expected that Orocohimaru would go rogue, and, needless to say he had expected that Orochimaru would return and attack the Leaf village.
Hence the second the assault began Danzo had disappeared, immediately within the ROOT base, looking over his operatives. Some would call them slaves, he personally would call them blades.
Danzo looked over his operatives, their black cloaks and white masks giving them the appearance of ghosts in the wind. He nodded at the three who stood before him. To anyone else they would have been three, maskless people, but to him they were very important. They were some of his best.
Tatsuma Aburame, Kanoe, and lastly, but undoubtedly his most useful pawn, Hyo. He glanced at all of them, the power of his eyes unwavering. Now was his chance. The Uchiha and the Jinchuriki would be casualties of war and no one would know the wiser. Missing in action, and Danzo would make sure no one could find them.
"You three know your orders. Go after the Jinchuriki first, for he is the most valuable."
With that the three ROOT operatives vanished. Danzo gave off a chilling look, a permeable sense of death filling the air. Konoha was beginning to burn, but as long as the roots survived, the tree would grow back as strong as ever.

Hiruzen didn't doubt for a second that he was facing his student. "So…Orochimaru…this is what you have degraded yourself to."
The Snake Sannin smirked, glancing around at the dome that surrounded them thanks to his four subordinates. "Ah, Sarutobi-sensei…you sound so disgusted with me." Hiruzen snorted. "It should be obvious why. I am disgusted. To see you having fallen so low. I should have finished you when I had the chance."
Hiruzen did not wear his regular Hokage attire. No, the old man wore battle armor, clearly having expected an attack on the village. He was not still alive and kicking for nothing. The gray shinobi battle armor had light protection over his entire body. It was a black jumpsuit with mesh segments over the lower portions of his limbs. However above those segments was metal. A green gauntlet coated much of his right arm, and an armored hood with a bandanna-like forehead protector covered his head. Two long straps hung behind him. On the back of the armor was "Third Hokage", written on it, the kanji fore "fire" below it."
The Anbu outside watched the two shinobi of legend face off. Hiruzen kept his eyes on Orochimaru, however he used the slightest twitch of Orochimaru's fingers as a signal.
"Get Jiraiya here as fast as you can! Move!"
The Anbu shot forwards, moving towards where they saw the largest toad. Orochimaru raised an eyebrow. "Relying on Jiraiya? I think we both know how well that usually works out." Hiruzen frowned, not gracing Orochimaru with the honor of his response. He may have still been powerful, but Hiruzzen had noticed his steady decline in fighting abilities because of his age. He knew he could put up a fight, maybe even win against the monster that was his student, however making unnecessary risks was never his style.
There was a reason Jiraiya was called back.
Suddenly the two began testing each other, a heavy pressure forming from their clashing chakras, causing the tiles of the roof they were on to crack and shatter. Some tiles even began to float in the air. Hiruzen tensed as Orochimaru shot forwards. The elderly man easily dodged the snake's punch, grabbing the appendage and knocking his legs out from under him. Yet Orochimaru semed not to mind, dislocating his arm with no apparent abandon before he kicking Hiruzen in the side, forcing the kage to release his grip. Hiruzen's eyes never left Orochimaru.
Orochimaru smirked, his shoulder popping back into place, no pain showing on his face. "Come on sensei," Orochimaru said. "Let's have some fun."
Orochimaru shot forwards once again, faster this time. He was quickly tiring of playing around as he was using half of his speed this time. However half of his speed wasn't enough to make Hiruzen sweat, even with his old age. Orochimaru engaged the man in a brawl of taijutsu, but a brawl is what it would seem like to your standard observer. It was more a fluid movement of strategic techniques.
Hiruzen blocked Orochimaru's incoming punch, responding with a sweep. However Orochimaru ducked, launching a dual kick that would have crushed Hiruzen's skull had it connected, even with the armor. However Hiruzen spun upwards, avoiding the strike and lashing out with an uppercut that would have connected, had Orochimaru not bent backwards at an awkward angle and lashed upwards with a kick. Hiruzen quickly stepped backwards before shooting into Orochimaru's guard, a one-two combination being launched. Orochimaru however wouldn't be beat by a mere boxer and easily avoided the two punches, snakes shooting from his sleeve in an attempt to rip the flesh from Hiruzen's body. Hiruzen grasped the snakes, twisting as he ripped their heads off, and using the momentum to drag Orochimaru towards him, landing a solid kick that sent the Sanin flying through the air. However the Sanin still landed on his feet, a smirk on his face despite the blood trailing from his lip.
"This is more like it, Sarutobi-sensei."
Hiruzen frowned. "I guess it is time for me to truly begin this fight." Orochimaru laughed. "Please sensei, I implore you to."

Sasuke was having trouble. The smoke cloud was powerful enough to stop his eyes from seeing through it and thus he had no idea where the attacks came from until it was too late to stop them. His attackers made perfect use of this, the duo of Oto-nin striking powerful blows whenever Sasuke couldn't follow them because they got to close.
Sasuke had resorted to closing his eyes and channeling chakra into his ears as a way of detecting his opponents. A sound to his left made him spin, the Kubikiribocho swinging through the air. However suddenly his swing was stopped cold, causing his eyes to snap open with surprise. However when a massive foot sent him flying into the air he wasn't surprised in the slightest. Only Gozu had the physical capability to do something like that from what he knew. The other attacker seemed only good at fire jutsu and making smoke.
Wait a second…Sasuke could use that. As more of the flaming balls of death came at Sasuke he shot forwards, racing passed the jutsu and getting in close before the enemy could react thanks to his blinding speed that had improved since his training with Kakashi.
The man in front of him dropped, clearly trying to get out of Sasuke's line of sight, however when a blade coated in lightning swung towards his head he dived to the right, barely avoiding the cut that remained on the roof. Sasuke smirked, having delayed his attackers at least minutely. Now was his chance to get out of the smoke cloud. And a quick doton jutsu later Sasuke was gone, having jumped off the side of the building and buried underground almost instantly.
"Following is suicide," Dozu mentioned, glancing at his partner. "We're being lead into a trap."
His partner a man with medium-length dull purple hair with gray eyes stared back at him. His black cloak fluttering in the wind he stepped forwards, sandals echoing in the silence. The gas-mask on his face covered the lower part of his face, making it impossible to see his emotion, however he did speak.
"Dozu, we're completing our mission. The Sound Four would be taking care of this if it wasn't for Orochimaru-sama fighting the Hokage. Now, help me find the Uchiha."
Dozu nodded, following Kigiri downwards. The duo escaped from the smoke cloud, eyeing the streets around them, however suddenly they heard a whistling, the familiar whistling of something cutting through the air. Both jumped, avoiding both fuma shuriken, the first one and the one hiding in the shadow of the other. It would have been quite the impressive feat had the shuriken not exploded into several bits being controlled by Sasuke via ninja wire. The blades of the shuriken whipped towards them, but Dozu's body suddenly changed to mud, catching all the weapons effortlessly before Kigiri cut the wire with a kunai. The duo glared at Sasuke, standing on top of a building a fair distance away, the Kubikiribocho next to him within arms reach. Sasuke suddenly began weaving through handsigns.
"Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique)!" The small fireballs shot forwards, spiraling towards the duo. Dozu's body slowly began to shift back into his regular human form, barely managing to avoid it as the change was gradual and slow. Kigiri on the other hand easily dodged, sending balls of flame Sasuke's way in response. Sasuke made a note to dodge them, having been on the receiving end of several of them before it the burns on his body were anything to go by. Clearly he did not want to get touched by them once again. Sasuke suddenly shots forwards, the Kubikiribocho in hand and spinning. He landed right in front of the two, the blade already in motion to bisect both of them, yet Dozu stopped the blade with a single hand, before he sent Sasuke flying with a punch, forcing the Uchiha to let go of his blade or stand their and get beaten. Sasukle growled as he stood, more bruises beginning to form. That did nothing to deny the fact that he felt like a giant bruise.
Dozu shot forwards, but Sasuke was prepared this time, using a lighting jutsu instead of his usual fire style. Lightning trumped earth after all.
"Raiton: Jibashi (Lighting Release: Electromagnetic Murder)!"
Sasuke's palms touched the ground as electricity poured off them, ripping the ground to shreds as the currents moved. Dozu was forced to stop or be fried to death, however that did notbing to stop the instability of the slab of concrete he was standing on. Sasuke replicated the jutsu once more, causing Dozu to fall into a slight hole. Sasuke wasted no time in launching an explosive kunai towards the monster of a human before rushing forwards, catching Kigiri off guard with how quickly he had taken Dozu from the fight, at least briefly.
As the massive explosion served only to increase Sasuke's speed, it made Kigiri stumble, allowing Sasuke to score a solid hit the body that doubled the Oto-nin. An uppercut followed, lifting him into the air. But just as Sasuke was about to finish he was forced to move as Dozu appeared, driving his fist into the ground where Sasuke once stood.
Sasuke arose, Kubikiribocho in hand once against as lightning move through it.
"You two have a good combination. But I've got your timings, your tendencies down now. Prepare to fall to God."
The duo snorted, clearly unamused by Sasuke's sense of bravado. The power and supremacy of the Uchiha Clan was not to be challenged when Sasuke was around.

Naruto barely dodged another punch, weaving between Guren's insanely fast and even more insanely powerful blows. It was like she was a boxer and he was a simple civilian, barely managing to avoid her. He felt like a student all over again, and her, the fear-inspiring teacher. She flipped, he dress obscuring Naruto's vision before a kick lashed out that he barely managed to block with both arms, sending him skidding backwards. Naruto cursed, weaving through handseals.
"Ressenpū (Violent Whirlwind)!" A powerful jet of wind shot from Naruto's mouth, destroying everything in its path. Guren frowned, shooting backwards as to avoid the attack.
"You know," Guren stated. "If this is your best I'm severely disappointed. Orochimaru-sama talked so highly of you, and you're a Jinchuriki. This much is pitiful."
Naruto glared at the woman in front of him, his eye cold and calculating. She was faster than he was, stronger than he was, more intelligent, clearly more experienced. She was all around a better shinobi than he, but that didn't mean that he could just lay there and get his ass kicked. Naruto may not have had her beat in the physical and mental aspects of being a shinobi, but he may have had her beat in sheer elemental jutsu matchup.
'Well it's a start,' Naruto thought.
"Use me you imbecile."
Naruto didn't even give the Kyuubi the dignity of a response. 'I don't have enough water to use any of my big water ninjutsu…so wind it is then.'
Naruto shot forwards, weaving through handseals. "Fūton: Shinkūgyoku (Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere)!" Naruto opened his mouth, spitting out several small bullets of wind chakra that carved through the air. Guren smirked. "Better," she stated. "Shōton: Suishōheki Hachi no Jin (Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Wall Eighth Formation)!" To Naruto's surprise suddenly crystal sprung up all around Guren, blocking off the entire street from his sight. The bullets of wind chakra impacted with the crystal, creating cut markings but they failed in shattering the shield.
"Are you freaking kidding me? I've got nothing on you!" Guren smirked, appearing on top of the crystal spires. "S'not my fault you suck."
Naruto growled, weaving through more handseals. "Fūton: Gufuu Shushou (Wind Release: Tornado Palm)!"
Naruto locked out his arm, his palm facing Guren's head as she looked down on him. Wind chakra shot from his palm, forming a tornado that shot towards Guren, its sheer ferocity causing cuts in the ground despite the distance from it.
Guren's eyes widened as she watched the undoubtedly A-rank ninjutsu. 'Where the hell did he learn that?' Guren jumped, avoiding the tornado itself, however she cursed, frowning as cuts appeared on her calves, blood trickling from them. 'That jutsu cannot be allowed to continue,' she thought as Naruto directed the tornado towards her. She shot downwards, easily destroying the roof she stood upon, using the wall in front of her as a barricade. She then kicked it, sending a massive chunk of wall flying at Naruto, however his tornado promptly blew a hole in it. Guren however had already disappeared, suddenly flickering into existence behind Naruto.
Naruto's eyes widened upon realization, cancelling his jutsu and attempting to get out of range of her strike, but he wasn't fast enough. The blade of crystal on her arm stabbed forwards, and would have killed him had a tanto not come and deflected the strike.
Naruto stumbled, his eyes wide as he saw people he was not expecting to see. Three Anbu members stood around him, guarding him. One of them was clashing with Guren, while the other two were looking directly at him. Yet there was something odd about them.
Their masks had nothing on them, and if Naruto remembered correctly, all the Anbu he'd seen had some animal or demon or something on them. And that made him instantly suspicious.
"Uzumaki, come with us," said the one of the right. His voice was calm, monotone. Naruto stood, dusting off his clothes. "Thanks but," Naruto said, "I think I should go." And with that Naruto dropped a smoke pellet that he had discreetly drawn from his supply pouch. As smoke filled the area he jumped, noticing vaguely that the Anbu had been able to follow his movements. Only one stayed, likely to fight off Guren.
He idly played with the idea of Guren winning and coming to help him out with whoever this fakers were.
He decided that she would…before she proceeded to kill him.
Naruto landed on a nearby building, spinning on his foot and launching a punch that was aimed to smash into the face of one of the ROOT operatives, however they were not dressed like Anbu for no reason. The closer one deflected the attack almost lazily, if he were capable of that emotion, before he lashed out with a ferocious kick that Naruto swore bruised some ribs. The young Jinchuriki was sent skidding back, feeling the unwelcome, and also welcome, feeling of the Kyuubi mending his wounds.
The second Anbu member appeared in front of Naruto, tanto drawn. He swiped downwards, Naruto avoiding by the skin of his teeth. The blonde moved inwards the second the blade passed everywhere vital, grabbing the ROOT members arm before he could bring it back up. Naruto launched a punch that was clearly going to connect, however he forgot there were two enemies, and the free one stabbed Naruto in the side, yet the Genin powered through, smashing his fist into the others ones face. He then growled at the one that stabbed him, ignoring the member get sent flying, his arm roughly ripped from Naruto's grasp.
"You bitch," Naruto mumbled, forming a familiar handseal. The Anbu member immediately let go of his tanto and jumped back, watching Naruto warily. "Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Multiple Shadow Clone Technique)!" About fifty clones sprung into existence around Naruto as he ripped the tanto from his body, the wound healing quickly.
"How about we show you something we thought would be a good idea," Naruto mumbled, each clone drawing a shuriken.
"Get wrecked!" The Genin roared, throwing the shuriken before each clone weaved through handsigns. "Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique)!"
The ROOT operative didn't even bother trying to defend, it would have been a futile effort. He simply raised his arms and was murdered.

Shino was not having a good day. First Temari and Gaara escaped from him after Kankuro decided to stop and fight him, and then he was poisoned severely. He had no idea what was in it, but considering the villages current situation he had no doubt it was lethal. A flying insect flew back over to him, landing on his finger. Shino frowned, not that anyone could see it before he vanished, barely avoiding the blades that sprung from the wall that were going to impale him.
Kankuro cursed, his eyes tracking Shino's movements before he flicked his fingers, and Karasu quickly followed Shino. Kankuro was quickly tiring of being subtle. However, this proved to be a bad decision as insects swarmed the chakra threads connecting him to Karasu, and the puppet fell to the ground, lifeless. Shino glared at the Suna-ninja, having discovered where he was thanks to the Kikaichu.
Shino shot forwards, causing Kankuro to curse before he dropped a poisonous smoke bomb that Shino had no time to stop from heading straight into. However, the Aburame had no time to think about the toxins he was inhaling but focus on finding his opponent. Upon hearing footsteps to his left he dashed that way, exiting the cloud to see Kankuro regain his puppet, Karasu already shooting towards the insect-wielding boy.
The puppet would have reached Shino, the poison slowing Shino down to unspeakable levels had weapons not cut the chakra threads…again.
Kankuro cursed, immediately grabbing Karasu and getting out of the way of more hails of weapons. Kankuro glanced upwards, surprised to see an enraged Tenten glaring at him.
"Find an iryo-nin," Tenten told Shino. "His toxins are already in your system. They're likely lethal. Head to the hospital. Once the toxins are out your system defend the place with your life." Shino simply looked at Tenten. "No."
Tenten glared at her junior. "What?"
"No. Why? Because Kankuro and I have not finished our fight. You already got to fight with him, and you lost. Our fight is inconclusive."
Tenten sighed. "Look, I understand your pride might make you want to continue this fight, but you will die if you continue. The buildings here aren't to your advantage. If this was the forest I'm sure you'd be capable of pulling this off but it isn't. You're not in your element. Move, now. My element is everywhere."
Shino stood, watching Tenten with a tentative eye before he nodded, disappearing. Kankuro then directed his full attention to her.
"So what are you here for? You wanna get beat down even worse than last time?"
Tenten smirked, raising her top slightly to reveal a seal. Kankuro blushed at the sight of more of her skin in more revealing areas, however the blush immediately vanished when he saw what came out of the seal.
"No fucking way."
In front of Kankuro was a puppet, but not just any puppet, it looked like a real, living person. It was in the shape of a small girl, with four metal blades sticking out from her black, all black. Tenten frowned.
"I may not have the control you have yet but…prepare to lose!"
Kankuro laughed, Karasu shifting in front of him, confronting Tenten's puppet. "Well this is funny isn't it? I never thought you'd take up puppeteering, much less use such a realistic puppet. What's its name?"
Tenten frowned. "I couldn't seem to make it not look human. It just felt wrong. As for her name…Black Angel…for she's going to reap you."
Tenten's puppet, covered in a black dress shot forwards, the metal blades suddenly began to rotate, albeit poorly and the girl slowly was lifted into the air. Kankuro laughed. "Not bad for a month's worth of training. You really are a natural at this but…"
Karasu shot forwards.
"I'm still your better."

Gai and Genma glared at Baki and the two people standing next to him. They had been doing fine against Baki himself, obvious from the number of cuts and bruises on Baki's face, however the second those two joined the fight it had changed, and not for the better. It was freakishly disturbing how powerful the duo were.
"Aiko Ayashi of Otogakure…and Soka Rayuken of the Ten Desert Shinobi…you both are quite fearsome," Genma stated, before he smirked at Gai. "But the two of us weren't on the same Genin team for a reason."
The young girl, around Naruto's age, revealed nothing on her face, the five chakra strings on her right hand simply twitching in response.
Aiko looked like the stereotypical kunoichi you'd see in the movies, but modified to fit her own tastes. She wore cycling short-like pants with a short-sleeved uwagi that matched the color. An obi sash was worn around her waist and an obijime was tied over it. Fingerless gloves covered her heads, with tabi boots wrapping around her feet. Leg warmers extended from her ankles up to her knees. Mid-back length pink hair that was tied in an up-do trailed behind her.
Soka had tan skin with lots and lots of brown fur covering his entire body. Three red dashed markings went down his cheeks, and his eyes blue eyes smiled at the two practically. He wore a black vest, with grab gray shorts and sandals. All in all…despite being one of the most powerful shinobi in Sunagakure Gai and Genma could only think one thing.
Visually he wasn't impressive.
When it came to fighting he was downright terrifying.
Baki smirked, the blade of wind around his arm magnifying as he pumped more chakra into it. "Well then…Gai I always liked you you know that? I really hate fighting you…but orders are orders." Gai smiled mirthlessly at his old rival.
"I'm afraid are youthful competition will not be able to exist today."
Genma glanced at the Hokage box, frowning. "Gai…you know what's going on in there. You go help Lord Hokage…I can handle these three. Gai gave Genma an incredulous look. "Genma you may be strong, but you can't match all three of them."
"It's a good thing he doesn't have to."
Anko and Margaret appeared behind Genma, alright dropping into stances. Gai's eyes widened in minute relief. "So Gai I recommend you start heading up to help Lord Hokage. Neither of us can fight on that level but you can. We can hold these guys off."
Gai frowned, and nodded shooting up towards the large purple rectangle on the roof of the Chunin Exams. Soka sighed. "I really wish you hadn't have done that. Despite my own belief that attacking Konoha is a bad idea both of you have already been categorized by the person orchestrating this."
Margaret and Anko raised an eyebrow. "And who would that be? Who did they sent after us?" Genma tensed, sliding backwards. He didn't know why, but he felt a very strong presence of killing intent focusing solely on Anko and he was attempting to protect her. Luckily the woman shouldn't realize why, or needless to say she'd kick his ass.
"Orochimaru obviously. And two other members of the Ten Sunagakure Desserts."
As if on cue two other people landed both male.
One man was tall and rather muscular with spiky black hair and brown eyes. Thin facial hair cover his mouth and chin. He wore a black, mesh shirt, an armored pants with geta sandals. A white haori draped over his shoulder. A blade was in his hands, with a red handle and hexagonal tsuba. The hilt's pommel has a blue tassel attached to it. The blade itself was a crimson red, the color of blood. This man was Genraika of the Ten Desert Shinobi, famed user of kenjutsu and fire release jutsu.
The second was a handsome young man with dark hair and eyes. There was a cross shaped tattoo on his shoulder, his sleeveless vest doing nothing to hide it. Orb-shaped earrings draped from his ears almost lazily. A fur-collared trenchcoat was wrapped around his waist, nearly cloaking black, baggy pants. However his choice of clothing did little to hide his muscular body. His black hair was combed backwards. This was Genruko of the Ten Desert Shinobi, younger brother of Genraika, and famed user of genjutsu along with multiple kinjutsu and water ninjutsu.
"Well shit," Margaret mumbled. Genraika sighed, ignoring his brothers continued blood lust and instead raised his hand, revealing a cigarette that none of the Konoha shinobi had noticed. He put it in his mouth, before he glanced at them.
"Let's get this over with. I don't really like the idea of attacking such a nice pair of tits."
Before Margaret or Anko could feel angered by that statement Kakashi appeared, waving his hands. "Yo."
Such nonchalance was not appreciated by Genruko clearly, as his hands disappeared, and when they reappeared they were on a single handseal. Water sprung to life in the arena, submerging the entire arena.

Jiraiya looked down at the beaten and bruised Oto and Suna ninja under his feet, sighing. They weren't even a slight challenge. He was just about to spring off when a shinobi landed in front of him. Jiraiya regarded the Anbu slightly before he sighed.
"So Orochimaru really is being an idiot then." The Anbu simply nodded before disappearing. Jiraiya shot onto the buildings, heading towards the Chunin Exam Stadium. He sighed, his eyes softening in remembrance of his old teammate before they hardened, steel glinting in them. Now was not the time to feel pity for his old teammate. That was how he had gotten away beforehand. Too much pity from him and Hiruzen. He had been recalled for a reason and it wasn't to pity Orochimaru.
No…by the end of the day…there would only be two Sannin left in the world, one way…or another.
You guys wanna know something? This chapter was supposed to be LONGER, like WAY longer than it is. 12,000 words at least...but I decided you guys didn't deserve to read a monstrosity filled with epic battles and even epicer (yes epicer) grammar and spelling errors. There are likely a fuck ton in this chapter without the added 3,000ish words. It originally wasn't going to end until Gaara and Naruto met and began their rematch, but I guess that's happening next chapter. Also, I want to commend the guy who gave me the idea of the army-killer shuriken jutsu as I like to call it. AKA many shadow clones then spam that shuriken shadow clone jutsu. HOWEVER...despite literal DAYS of looking through my reviews and PMs I couldn't find the person who recommended it, so if you just said who you were so I could credit you there's that. I feel like a douchebag. Anyways. Yes, I brought Guren and her team in. Why? Because FUCKING OTOGAKURE HAS NO FUCKING NOTABLE NINJA GODDAMN IT! I have such big plans for Otogakrue, but their ridiculously small amount of members that can actually do a fuck is so small that I ended up having to create one already. Meet Aiko everybody! And she's a motherfucking badass. And she's only Naruto's age. Why? Because Orochimaru fucks shit up with experiments that's why. More will be explained later. Anyways yes I'm bringing Gai and Jiraiya into the Hiruzen fight. Why? Because why the fuck not? Hiruzen knew his age was catching up on him, and I find it hard to believe that even though he is very selfish in his fight with Orochimaru he's selfish enough to think he can beat him without a slight amount of help. This may or may not change Hiruzen's future. I kinda can't wait for this arc and the arc afterwards. So many big players are about to get introduced! Shit. Will. Hit. The. Fan.
Well I'm out...see ya.
