"I am gonna take a nap, you should also take a rest from the paperwork Mira-", Toshinori stopped mid sentence as he glanced towards the empty desk in his office. "Oh, right."
Earlier that day, All Might had returned after a 36 hour long service. Though, thanks to the multitude of heroes and Tsukauchi, he was able to buff down between the mission and strike when needed to.
He wiped off a faint tear as he remembered his olden days, going 70-80 hour without any break, being able to use the power that he bestowed with at it's full capabilities. He really wished that maybe, just maybe someone might be out there who could help him, help fill the hole in his stomach and his heart. They had scoped out every healing quirk there is, but none of them was viable enough to heal the injuries he had inflicted upon him.
'At least he is gone, that's something right?'
Toshinori was in his pajamas and ready to snooze off when he remembered that he should convey the paperwork to Tsukauchi. It had only been 2 years since his catastrophic battle with All For One, his 'recovery' and the falling out between his sidekicks. Tsukauchi had graciously offered his services.
As he was about to pick up the phone, the said device flared up with Detective's name, 'Ah, you'll live a 100 years Tsukauchi!'
"Hello Tsukauchi, I was just about to call you regarding the missio-"
"All Might we need you at the central market at the abandoned parking lot."
"What happened, wait... are you in Tokyo?"
"No time to discuss All Might, I know…", the detective took a pause and presumably isolated himself from the force to speak about the sensitive matters, "I know that you are out of your steam, but there aren't any local heroes here and Mirai is in trouble."
"M-Mirai?", he stuttered as he formulated a plan in his mind, "Sure, I'll be there in 10."
"Okay."
Toshinori threw on his cargo pants, a plain white T-shirt and ran towards the exit of Might Tower.
'I can conserve energy if I take a cab, thanks to Endeavour, Fatgum and the others I still have a couple of minutes left in me.'
"Hang on Nighteye!"
Nighteye, Izuku and an exhausted Rappa stood before what could only be described as a monster. Rappa had held the creature occupied long enough for Izuku to heal Nighteye's injuries, which the man still couldn't wrap his head around. Hood, however, seemed to be taking a breather of his own as he stood motionlessly in front of them, blocking the exit.
"Usag- TigerBunny made through, that means All Might must be on his way", The unihornette whispered to the pro in an attempt to calm himself down, truly it was a wonder as to how a single man's name was enough to settle people's anxiety down.
"Yes, now we just have to stall, until he shows up", Nighteye sighed as he flexed his 'healed' arm, he was also aware of All Might's mission earlier that day and the fact that it will take him a while to get here or build up the juice to fight.
Izuku glanced at the exhausted puncher and spoke, "Uhh, Rappa-san, I think you should take a break, we'll find a distraction and retreat."
The said fighter chuckled, "Nah kid, this is exactly what I needed after the faux fight with P-boi, if he wants a fight, he'll get one!", Rappa stated excitedly as he began running towards the hooded figure for another brawl.
"P-P Boi?"
"Don't ask..."
'I can respect this guy's passion, but as of now I'd have to help him live tomorrow, charging in like that is a death-wish.', He thought as a picture of an unfortunate future flashed before his eyes, 'Even for the best.'
In a building that is so damn far far away
"How delightful, the buffoon is coming, with his current state our pawn is more than enough to cripple him even further."
Kurogiri had the first-hand experience of what the Symbol of Peace was capable of, even in his current condition the man can level cities at will, keeping that in mind he tried to bargain with the dark-lord to spare his kind, "I advise a retreat, from my intel All Might still has some power left in him, thanks to his connections in the force, I have it in full authority that he was powered down most of the time. If your calculations are off, then we'll lose 'Foresight' as well as our test subject."
"Ugh, I was hoping to fast forward our plans a bit, oh well… But before we go let's give him some distractions shall we?
Mind lending me your aid Kurogiri?"
"..."
Kurogiri silently complied with the man's commands and opened several small pockets of portals above the barely conscious contenders in the arena.
Nighteye was about to help Rappa fight that monstrosity when from the corner of his eye he noticed the same purple smoke from before. 'All for One is on the move again, this can't be good.' After the thought him and Izuku watched in horror as a hand came through those pockets and grabbed the incapacitated figters, the said fighters screeched in pain as they made contact with the hand.
The realisation hit 'Foresight' user like a truck when he noticed that the people weren't losing quirks, rather gaining new uncontrollable ones
'He is ensuing chaos, so that's how those 'villains' got on the streets…'
In the same piece of architecture that was still far far away
Kurogiri was utterly confused by the dark lord's actions, it was a once in a blue moon occurrence when the man 'granted' quirks in place of taking them.
All For One took a note of the butler's behaviour and replied, "Tell me Kurogiri, what is a 'villain' in this society? It's such a wide category of outlaws that they lump up several types of criminals under the same umbrella.
I believe if it's related to a quirk-will relationship, if a person's will and the quirk support each other, then this balanced relationship is what we call 'heroes'.
But, when a unruly quirk twists a person's will or when violent will stimulates a quirk to run wild, that disparity creates a situation of imbalance, these dangerous, unstable outlaws that threaten the entire framework, they are plastered and shunned as a 'villain'.
At the core, a villain is just a person with this imbalance relationship, hence the inevitable conclusion, forcing a person's quirk to beserk or handing them a 'villainous power', lets me turn anybody into a Villain."
The supposed free-willed butler 'decided' to raise his worries, "But master, this act will only keep him at bay, from what I remember you wanted him to clash with our test subject."
The dark lord chuckled darkly, he adjusted himself in his chair and replied, "That's true Kurogiri, but my priorities changed when our little infiltrator exposed himself, getting my hands on the precious 'Foresight' quirk means more to me than further cripple that big oaf."
The mist-man completed his task as he closed the last portal, "I see."
"...I repeat, we have got villains rampaging on the streets, dispatch the request to any and all heroes nearby!", Tsukauchi ordered the force as he watched numerous people come rushing out from the parking lot with their quirks and going berserk on their surroundings. 'All Might is gonna have his hands full with this, I just hope Nighteye is safe in there'
Rumi was hopping back to the parking lot to help the guys out and defeat that rotting piece of shi- villain, she knew the only one who could do anything against that monstrosity was either her or the Rappa fella. As much as she wanted a good fight alone with Izuku, she was somehow regretting her decision, it was a fairly new feeling as she had never thought twice about any decision she has ever made, but including Izuku in her escapades, leaving him back there with a stuck up pro and an insane monkey knowing that he doesn't have any means to fight… yeah she regretted it.
Though in her retrospection she did form a rationality, because if she weren't here today with the greenette, then the pro and the idiot would have died and god knows what would have happened to the other fighters.
'Speaking of other fighters, why are a bunch of them rushing my way!?', she thought to herself as she saw a mob making their way through the parking lot towards the streets. In a moment she noticed they weren't 'normal', 'And they have their quirks switched on… great.'
Rumi focused on the 'villains' and noticed a couple of them were the ones she kicked before the hell broke loose, 'Wait, those were not their quirks! What is happening!'
"Ah, fuck it!" she decided as she prepared herself to kick these goons out of commission.
Toshinori had just got out of the cab and was rushing towards the abandoned parking lot, apparently the ride wasn't enough to build up his juice, he only had 2, maybe 3 minutes of power left in him.
'If it's a full-blown attack, I'd need help.', the man chuckled at himself, 'Help, what a turn of events, what kind of symbol am I when I can't just jump in and save my freaking friend!'
He approached the scene when he saw a car coming flying towards him, Toshinori had two choices, one to power up and save his life but expose the symbol of peace's true identity or do nothing and Yagi will be buried and symbol's secret with him.
"HAA!", before he could decide, a rabbit-eared highschooler? Who was wearing a tiger-mask came crashing through the car with her kick and consequently saving Toshinori's life.
The said girl moved closer to the stunned skeleton of a hero and spoke while examining his body for physical trauma, "Sir, everything will be alright, there is a villain situation up ahead, I want you to clear this area!"
"Y-Yes sorry about that."
"It's alright!", she exclaimed and hopped off towards the rampaging villains.
Toshinori was utterly impressed, not because she saved his life but as to how she followed the protocol and treated a fellow civilian, he knew she might just be a Vigilante or a fun crazed highschooler but he knew charisma when he saw it.
The blonde glanced towards where the bunny girl had jumped off to, he watched in horror as several villains with wild quirks caused havoc to their surroundings and the people in them. He also noticed how a single girl was keeping the evil-doers at bay, she was pushing herself so that the police or the civilians won't get hurt.
'What kind of hero will I be if I let someone get hurt because I was playing it safe with my body, I have to push through my limits and go beyond!', he mentally declared while running off to a secluded ally, within a moment he searched through the familiar power and activated it throughout his body, the feeling of pure-energy coursing through his veins, the sensation of unnatural muscle-mass and a need to be somewhere. It was the purpose for him, a purpose to keep pushing himself, a purpose for his life.
He blasted off from the alley right into action, Toshinori knew that this was just a distraction while the real show happens somewhere else, he shot-off towards a man who was literally bursting into flames and punched him out of consciousness as he passed by the rabbit-girl while taking off the villain from her hands.
"I will take it from here Young Lady!"
"A-ALL MIGHT!"
Without uttering a word he saved a bunch of people from being crushed under the rubble from a nearby construction-site, deflected laser beams with his bare hands, took care of every 'villain' in the area and stopped a toddler from being runned over by a car.
After his duty he stomped down to the middle of the street and declared to all who were present.
"I AM HERE!"
Around the same time in the abandoned parking lot
Izuku saw Rappa and Nighteyer rush in and target the villain while he was ordered to stay behind, the former was punching the creature seemingly to buy time, while the latter was now going with near-lethal strikes.
The uni-hornette wanted to help, but the hero had asked him not to, saying that 'A healer must be protected', after hearing the words coming from one of his idols he was somewhat disappointed, he could do so much more with his quirk than anyone could ever imagine.
"I finally found you…", a dark voice came from Izuku's behind, he whipped his head back to see the similar hand rushing towards his way, the said appendage grabbed his face and he could only watch as it lit up with dark-red aura, moments later the pain same rushing in as the mother of all migraines spread throughout his head. But this time the pain was steadily increasing, he was on the verge of being knocked out when he remembered the knife, with all his strength the 'Rewind' user reached into his side, grabbed the knife and stabbed it right through the side of the hand.
A violent scream came from the other side of purple mist as the hand vanished into thin air.
Nighteye heard the cry of pain and looked at the almost lifeless form of his comrade drop on the floor, his irrational side came on the surface as he began rushing off to the greente's aid. Without his support, Hood overpowered Rappa and threw him through the basement, the pro didn't notice a stretched punch rushing his way.
Mirai fell on the ground, face-first and broke his nose, he knew this was it, this is where it will end for him, the creature is going to stab him through his heart with his modified arm, kill Rappa by beheading him and sparing Wolf presuming that he's already dead.
He prepared himself for Hood's final attack, 'I wish I could have had the chance to reconcile with you All Might, but thank you. I know our time together was short, but it was the best time of my life', with this final thought he closed his eyes and waited for the pain to come through.
But...
It never came? He rolled over his back to see WolfUnicorn standing in front of the creature virtually unscathed, he fell into darkness as he heard the faint words,
"It's Rewind Time…"

I came up with this idea a while ago and to be honest it will take a lot of work to pull it off, there is so little known about the 'Rewind' quirk. I'll do my best and hope you guys will enjoy it!
