Question Madgirl: I like the story but u got the idea from team u : ultimate didn't u ?

Response: Don't even know what that is so no I did not.

Question Dark Serpent Cat: Also I think Naruto would be more pissed off at the guy almost damning Konohamaru to a similar life as Naruto then wanting to kill Naruto

Response: You know...you have a point. I definitely messed up there. WELP, that's the beauty of the updating in chapter system. I get to fix mistakes.

Question ytygr: I am curious where the whole "The nine tails or any tailed beast must be sealed in a baby" came from. Mito was the first Hokages Wife (16-20 years old depending on if there going with the feudal age modern) when SHE sealed the nine tails into herself. Then she transferred it into Kushina right before she joined the academy so around 8. The only reason it was in Naruto form birth is that Minato had no choices. Also in the flash backs with Kirabe and his best friend you see Bee's between 6-8 went the eight tails is sealed in him. And with Garra is dad sealed the one tail while he was still in the womb causing a premature birth. I have read quite a few where this is stated I was just curious because I don't remember it being said in Cannon.

Response: It doesn't. In canon any age I believe is fine as long as the seal is good enough. I'm just saying screw you to the canon storyline on that aspect. The Bijuu are powerful beings of chakra damn it. Only BABIES are powerful enough to hold them. Baby IS Kami.

Question Kairan1979: So Akiyoshi is another traitor that got away because Hirusen had a soft spot for him?

Response: In Hiruzen's defense this one was his son so it's much easier to understand why he would let him go. I mean who wants to kill their son or family? I mean look at Itachi. He didn't WANT to he just made a choice in a shitty situation all around.

Revenge

Ameyuri Ringo was not a happy camper. Her Genin team were squabbling like children, and from the chakra signatures she had felt earlier today she was not alone on the island. Several powerful shinobi were on the island, along with one shinobi that had absolutely monstrous chakra reserves. She had thought that only Kirigakure would be on Uzushiogakure's ruined homeland for resources, but it appeared that she was wrong.

Ameyuri's eye twitched turning on her heel. "Isshin, shut UP!" Isshin quickly fell silent, ceasing his teasing. Ameyuri rolled her eyes as the Genin cut his eyes at Chojuro. "You two are such children," Ameyuri muttered, turning and continuing to walk. Isshin huffed but continued after his sensei, Chojuro following not to far behind.

"You know, you shouldn't let him push you around like that." Chojuro glanced at his other teammate. "Easy for you to say. You're the strongest member of the team, you wouldn't be intimidated by him." The male teammate smiled faintly. "You shouldn't underestimate yourself. You are not weak Chojuro. You have quite a bit of potential. You've already been recognized to hold one of the blades. That has got to stand for something."

Chojuro blanched. "I think that has more to do with the fact that we only have two members of the Seven Swordsman left that are still loyal to Kirigakure." The male teammate merely shook his head. "Be that as it may, the fact of the matter is that they don't give those blades to just anybody. You and Isshin are the youngest people to ever inherit the blades other than Mangetsu Hozuki. Be proud of that."

Chojuro looked down at the ground nervously, unsure of his teammates words until he glanced upwards, seeing Ameyuri looking back at him with a smirk on her face.

"Haku is right. Now let's get going. We have company on this island. I'd like to get what we came for without having to combat them."

"Right!"

Tsunade's eyes widened as she looked upwards, the massive gate before her making her feel minuscule in comparison. Her, the woman, who had brought down village gates with a flick of her finger, was intimidated by looking at the resting place of her ancestral homeland. She glanced down, watching Naruto as he looked around the destroyed ruins.

"So you're telling me that Kiri destroyed this place?" Tsunade frowned as the duo began to walk into the ruins of the destroyed village. "With help but yes." Naruto frowned, an irritated look covering his features. Tsunade worried that the boy might react rashly to this knowledge. Kiri wasn't to far off, and to know that there were Kiri shinobi on the island led to a dangerous situation. Tsunade sighed. She highly doubted that this entire situation could get any worse.

Tsunade frowned as the duo began to explore the ruins, noticing the decay and death that filled the air. She frowned. This place had such a taint on it that some veteran shinobi would be afraid, despite the fact that the tragedy that occurred here was so long ago. Tsunade shivered, before she heard a faint whisper.

Descendants still live...come...come home to us

Tsunade's eyes snapped upwards, looking towards the one building that didn't seem aged by time, likely due to seals that the Uzumaki were famous for. She glanced at Naruto to see him looking in the same direction.

"Voices?"

Naruto nodded, before they both began walking towards what they believed to be where the Uzushiogakure's base of operations. Tsunade slowly pushed open the door leading to the building before another whisper hit her and Naruto.

Come descendants, quickly, find the resting place before the trespassers

Naruto and Tsunade focused on the one word that set both of them on guard. "Trespassers?" Naruto whispered, rage in his voice. He quickly drew a kunai and began to stalk forwards, towards the open door that was calling him. Tsunade followed closely behind the boy, chakra already pumped to her fists, ready to attack the second she saw any visible movement. The buxom blonde could only hope that it was her contact, Kiri would be annoying but manageable, and Tsunade was not yet ready to finish her fight with Akiyoshi.

The duo continued to stalk their way forwards before they suddenly felt a chill creep down their bodies. Their guard only became more intense as they moved down the doors only to see a group of Kiri ninja blocking their progress. Behind the Kiri ninja was a massive sealing matrix.

"How exactly do we break into this library Ameyuri-sensei?" The member of the Seven Swordsman sighed, glancing at her younger students. "It seems we would require the blood of an Uzumaki to my limited knowledge of seals. The only issue with that is that all known Uzumaki that still exist aren't with Kiri but with Konoha, in the form of Tsunade Senju."

Haku took that moment to blink, glancing at her sensei. "I think I know another Uzumaki that's in Konoha, by the name of Naruto Uzumaki. He's a blonde." Ameyuri smirked, "Now that sounds like a much easier target to draw blood from. Even I couldn't hope to match Tsunade Senju in combat."

Tsunade smirked, her ego successfully stroked by the swordswoman, but Naruto's eyes were wide. He recognized that voice.

"Haku?"

The group of Kiri nin turned, weapons drawn only for Haku's eyes to widen. Isshin glanced at Haku, a strange look on her face. "You know this guy Haku?" Haku's face immediately became a concentration of pure, focused, rage.

"Oh yes," Haku stated, ice forming at his feet. "I know who he is. And he knows what I'm going to do to him." Naruto's eyes immediately narrowed, feeling the killing intent wash over him. "Haku-"

"Shut up Uzumaki!"

Ameyuri glanced at Haku, surprise evident on her face. "Wait, you're telling me the two Uzumaki that we were literally just talking about needing to open this door were right behind us? What type of luck is that? That's like," the elite Jonin started counting on her fingers, "a nine on the luck scale!"

Haku ignored her leaders eccentricities glaring daggers at Naruto. "You stopped me from saving Zabuza-sama from death! You will pay for that Uzumaki." Naruto frowned, "So that's why you're angry. I see. In my defense Haku I simply didn't want you to die. Sasuke and I would have eventually had to kill you if we continued to fight. I didn't want that. I didn't want Zabuza to die either, but the situation got out of hand."

"OUT OF HAND!" the raven haired boy shouted, rage seething in his voice. "No, what I do to you will get out of hand."

"I hate to cut off this friendly spat," Tsunade interrupted, locking eyes with Ameyuri. "But Naruto you're going to have to handle the Genin team. Ameyuri Ringo will detract to much of my attention. I can't afford to handle more than her, especially if he shows up. Think you can handle that?"

Naruto cracked his knuckles before he dropped into a fighting stance. "Tsunade-sama, I beat a raving Jinchuriki and a Bijuu not to long ago. I think I can handle a Genin team."

"Don't be so sure about that, Konoha filth," Isshin roared, shooting forwards, hand on his blade. Naruto watched the boy move, drawing a kunai and blocking the blade strike, only for his eyes to widen as Isshin immediately retracted his blade, going in for another strike. Naruto, off balance, threw himself forwards into a roll, skidding passed the attack, but putting himself into another, Chojuro coming down with a massive, bandaged blade. Naruto managed to avoid the strike, not even bothering to try and block it. However, he had little time to counter as Haku shot towards him, senbon in hand as he tried to impale Naruto. Naruto managed to turn his body in midair, using the kunai to deflect the attack, although the force still sent him flipping backwards. As Naruto landed Tsunade rocketed forwards, Ameyuri leaping to meet the blonde legend in combat.

Ameyuri swiped at Tsunade with her Kiba blades, but the blonde leaned backwards, dodging the attack before landing a solid kick in the Jonin's side, sending her flying through a wall that Tsunade promptly jumped through.

Naruto glanced at the disappearing blonde, before he focused his attention back to the three Kiri Genin in front of him. Naruto sighed, "I suppose I couldn't convince you all to come at me one at a time?"

"No," Isshin stated blankly, only for a hand to shoot out in front of him. Isshin glared at Haku, who ignored him. "You two will not interfere, are we clear?"

Isshin looked outraged while Chojuro only looked like he wanted to argue, but was too timid to. "Fuck that," Isshin roared. "This is a foreign shinobi and our leader is facing off against someone more powerful than her! We need to kill this brat quick and move onto helping her!"

"Then you go help her," Haku stated, his eyes never leaving Naruto. "We have unfinished business."

Naruto watched Haku dangerously. "Run along now kiddies. The grown-ups have to play now."

Isshin looked like he was ready to pop a gasket, but a stern look from Haku had him think about his decision. He turned on his heel, snarling before he sprinted off towards the whole that Ameyuri and Tsunade had disappeared through. Chojuro followed, but not before a quick "Good luck Haku."

Haku snarled. "I won't need it."

Naruto snorted, "I highly doubt that." Haku merely drew a senbon, preparing to lunge towards Naruto once more. In response Naruto drew a kunai, the two glaring daggers at each other. Then, as if through some sort of agreement, they charged.

Naruto rushed forwards, drawing shuriken from his pouch before he threw them, Haku deflecting the shuriken before disappearing in a burst of speed. Naruto's eyes widened as he raised his kunai, barely deflecting Haku's strike. The raven-haired boy, flipped over Naruto however, launching several jabs with his senbon that Naruto deflected. The second Haku's feet touched ground he leapt towards Naruto once more, the blonde Jinchuriki forced on the defensive as he weaved out of the way of Haku's senbon strikes.

"Just like last time," Haku muttered, jumping backwards. Naruto took the brief reprieve to frown, glancing around at his surroundings. A lack of water here would severely dampen his skills, but it should also hurt Haku as well, as the boy couldn't use his water jutsu. Naruto frowned. He would really have to get on to fixing that problem of his.

Haku apparently had enough of the brief lull in combat, beginning to weave through handseals. Naruto's eyes narrowed as he tracked the raven-haired shinobi's handseals, his body tense. "Hyōton: Jisarenhyō (Ice Style: Chains of Earthen Ice)!"

From Haku's feet ice shot forwards, forming five chains of ice that whipped towards Naruto. Naruto didn't even bother to waste time, leapoing away from the chains of ice, only to grimace as they pursued him. The blonde waited until they had almost touched him to dash forwards, blitzing passed the chains before he launched a haymaker directly at Haku's face. Haku, still surprised from the sudden speed Naruto displayed, was helpless to stop the punch, being sent careening backwards from the punch, landing in a heap.

"Sorry about that Haku," Naruto muttered, a frown on his face. He could see that the boy wasn't out of the fight yet, rising to his feet. He had hoped that would put Haku down for at least a while longer so that he could go help Tsunade in her battle. He would just have to hope that she was strong enough to handle Ameyuri Ringo along with two Genin.

"So mind explaining to me what you're doing on this island," Naruto asked, watching as Haku rose to his feet once more. Haku glared at Naruto, spitting a bit of blood out of his mouth and onto the floor. Naruto frowned at the desecration of his ancestral homeland, rage building in his body.

You cannot let such a disgrace to our name stand...

Naruto didn't know where that voice was coming from, but he found it hard to argue as he dropped into a fighting stance. "Kiri wants the jutsu in that vault," Haku stated, dropping to his own fighting stance. Naruto snorted, rage filling his body. He almost subconsciously started to draw on the Kyuubi's chakra, before he managed to restrain himself.

Why are you holding back! Crush those who dare to desecrate the Uzumaki!

Naruto frowned, finding it hard to argue against the voices ideas. 'Stay out of my head. This is my fight. I don't need any help.' The voice was silent.

Haku rushed forwards, launching senbon towards Naruto, who merely weaved out of the way of the deadly projectile's, noticing the clear liquid on them. Naruto frowned at the liquid, an irritated look on his face. Haku then leapt, coming down with a heel drop that Naruto turned to avoid, his eyes widening at the dent in the ground caused by the impact.

'He's really trying to kill me,' Naruto thought, leaping away from Haku, continuing to analyze the shinobi's fighting style. The raven-haired shinobi seemed to prefer trying to hind his opponents movements before going into a crippling attack, but the style seemed flawed. Naruto could only deduce that that was due to Haku's rage at Naruto stopping him from saving Zabuza's life.

Naruto drew his foot back, slightly unnerved at how patient he was being. He was usually much more eager to get involved in the fight. He smirked. It seemed Danzo's strategy sessions had been paying off more than he expected if the man had at the very least ingrained a small amount of practice in Naruto's fighting style. He was much more analytical.

Naruto frowned, 'Time to test something. If I can end this fight quickly it would be for the benefit of everyone.'

Naruto once again dropped into his fighting stance, waiting for Haku to make the first move once more. Haku didn't disappoint, launching senbon. Naruto raised an eyebrow. 'Isn't he worried about getting repetitive? He starts all of his assaults with the same strategy.'

Naruto deflected the senbon with his kunai once more, however his eyes narrowed when he saw Haku's hands clasped together. What jutsu was he-SHIT!

Naruto looked downwards, feeling a cold presence, only to see a trail of ice connecting his foot to a nearby senbon. Naruto's eyes widened. 'He connected thin ice trails to his senbon to trap me!' Suddenly ice shot from all around Naruto, chains wrapping around the Jinchuriki and slowly restricting his movement. Naruto growled, straining against his binds but found that he was unable to move. "Damn it," Naruto hissed as Haku began to walk towards him, senbon in hand.

"This is the end," Haku stated, preparing to jab the senbon through Naruto's throat, only for a burst of chakra to send him flying away. Haku flipped, landing on his feet before he glared at the spot where he last saw Naruto, only for his eyes to widen. His icy prison had been shattered with a burst of extreme chakra, revealing a now free Naruto who was glaring at him, despite breathing heavily.

Haku could only snarl at the sudden turn in events, his eyes widening as Naruto shot forwards, launching a kick directly at Haku's head. Haku managed to block the strike but Naruto shot his hands downwards, and spun on his hands, swinging his other leg around and across Haku's temple, sending the raven-haired boy flying towards a nearby wall. Haku flipped midair, pushing off of the wall before he rocketed back at Naruto, senbon in hand. Naruto crouched, blocking the strike before he threw his body forwards, tackling Haku and sending the shinobi to the ground with Naruto on top of him in top mount.

Naruto wasted no time in launching a savage barrage of blows that Haku could only block from his position. However, from their positions eventually Haku would tire, and the Genin knew it too. Haku lowered his hands, allowing several haymakers to slam against his face in order to shove Naruto off of him, allowing the Genin to rise to his feet and gain a brief reprieve.

Blood trickled from Haku's nose, causing him to snarl, hatred burning deeply in his eyes as Naruto rose to his feet. Naruto sighed, cracking his neck. "Haku please stop this. I'm beating you right now and we're only doing taijutsu. I haven't even begun to get that serious. I don't want to hurt you."

"You don't want to hurt me," Haku spat, as if the words physically hurt him, "you won't," the Kiri ninja hissed before he weaved through handsigns faster than Naruto could see. "Makyō Hyōshō (Crystal Ice Mirrors)!"

Tsunade cracked her neck as she stepped outside of the damaged building, smirking as she saw Ameyuri Ringo standing in front of her, the swordswoman's eyes filled with rage and annoyance. Tsunade smirked as she continued to analyze the woman. She was good at hiding it, but Tsunade saw it. There was a little bit of fear in the Kiri elite too. Tsunade's eyes widened though as the woman seemed to calm herself, her blades raised in preparation.

Tsunade tensed, her chakra roaring inside of her body. Ameyuri smirked, "This will be quite the good meal..." she stated before she shot forwards. Tsunade's eyes widened at the Jonin's speed, barely managing to leap out of the way of her thrust. Ameyuri didn't wait to launch her next attack though, leaping after Tsunade immediately, racing across the side of the building like a bat out of hell.

Tsunade smirked, launching a fist towards the side of the building, smirking at the impact as the side of the building crumbled, Ameyuri disappearing with it. Tsunade's eyes widened then as the Kiri elite appeared in front of her, slashing with her blades. Tsunade ducked under the blades, launching a punch towards Ameyuri that struck, only for the woman to disappear in a splash of water.

Tsunade turned around, shock evident in her eyes as she saw Ameyuri in the air above her, her blades pointed towards the sky. The member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist erupted in lightning chakra before she pointed her blades at Tsunade, sending a wave of electricity towards Tsunade with the cry of, "Raiton: Bakurai (Lightning Style: Depth Charge)!"

Tsunade's eyes widened at the burst of lightning, leaping away from the building just before the lightning bolt struck, causing an explosion hiding both shinobi from one another. Tsunade landed on the ground, immediately weaving through handseals, whispering to herself, "Doton: Dochū Senkō (Earth Style: Underground Shark Jutsu)!"

Tsunade immediately sank underground, disappearing before the dust cloud dissipated. As Ameyuri landed she glanced around, an annoyed look on her face. "Where did she go," she muttered, glancing around. "Not above, right, left, behind, or in front," Ameyuri muttered, glancing at her feet, "which only leaves below! Raiton: Raiga (Lightning Style: Lightning Fang)!" Ameyuri generated a bolt of electricity using her blades, before jumping and sending it towards the ground. However, just before the bolt of electricity struck the ground Tsunade leapt out, her hands in a tiger seal. "Katon: Enmaku Reppū (Fire Style: Flame Screen Gale)!" Tsunade opened her mouth, channeling her chakra to spit out a tornado of flame that charred the air as it spun towards Ameyuri, causing the blade user to frown. She disappeared with a quick substitution, appearing behind Tsunade. Tsunade landed, glancing at the woman with interest.

"You're quite the tricky girl to get a hand on," Tsunade complimented, clenching her fist. Ameyuri smirked. "Why thank you. That's quite high praise coming from a shinobi such as yourself."

Tsunade smirked. "It's about the only bit of praise you'll get from me. I'll be wrapping this fight up now anyways." Ameyuri raised an eyebrow before her eyes narrowed, seeing two flashes behind the blonde haired woman. However, Tsunade seemed to know this as well despite not turning, her body turning to mud as she was speared through.

"What!" Isshin stated, confused, only for his eyes to widen as he felt a solid punch land in his stomach, forcing him to spit up blood. The Genin collapsed on the ground, unconscious. Ameyuri's eyes widened in horror as Tsunade then turned, ducking under a swipe from Chojuro before grabbing the boy by the throat, squeezing and causing him to claw at her throat, his blade falling to the ground. Tsunade turned to Ameyuri.

"Are they yours," she asked, squeezing Chojuro's throat just a little tighter. Amyeuri snarled, lightning sparking off of the Kiba as she walked forwards only for Tsunade to tilt her head, making her pause. "Are you so quick to throw away their lives," Tsunade stated, causing Ameyuri to frown, backing off. "Good," Tsunade stated. "Now here's what you're going to do if you want to keep these little brats alive. You're going to leave Uzu and tell the Mizukage that Tsunade Senju said if they ever try to venture onto my ancestral homeland I will break them down and show their humiliated form to the world to let the other villages know that Kiri is ripe for the conquering. Are we understood?"

Ameyuri frowned, but nodded nonetheless. Mei would be irritated at this development, but she was sure her Hokage could handle the situation. "Understood," she stated. Tsunade nodded, kicking Isshin over to the Jonin and tossing Chojuro her way, the boy unconscious. Ameyuri glanced at Tsunade who was smirking. "Don't even think about it. Remember, my friend is still defeating one of your other Genin. Besides, we both know that in a fight you can't defeat me." Ameyuri frowned, sheathing her blades. "What about Haku?" Tsunade shrugged. "I'll take him as insurance. When the brat and I have left I'll send him your way. Until then, he's ours."

Ameyuri growled, but nodded, picking up Isshin before she stalked away. Tsunade smirked, turning on her heel and walking into the forest, but not before she made she Ameyuri was gone. Tsunade sighed in relief as she walked through the destroyed building to find Naruto once more. At least that was one threat dealt with. Tsunade glanced at her hand though, noticing a slight bit of Isshin's blood had gotten on her. Tsunade stopped walking, standing and staring at the blood.

'Mere children...' the Sannin thought, rooted in place as if paralysis had taken over her. 'I just threatened mere children's lives. What...what makes me better than Nawaki's killers?' Tsunade shuddered to herself, almost falling to her knees as she desperately tried to claw the blood off of her, but only smeared it further against her skin. The Sannin shook violently at the thought. 'I'm no better than them. I'm just as cruel. I would have killed those kids. Deprived another family of their children, their siblings,' she thought. Noticing a pool of water Tsunade drove her hands into it, washing the blood off before she shook herself, almost curling up in the fetal position.

"How am I any better," she muttered to herself, completely forgetting about Naruto for the moment.

Sasuke stared as he saw the massive fort in the distance. That was what they would be assaulting soon, a massive sand, and metal castle that seemed impenetrable from out here. Sasuke could only shudder in horror before he began to pay attention to the leader of the division explaining the plan. "Alright, listen here genjutsu squad. The assault is starting with us. Yakumo!" The young girl shot up, her eyes wide. "You're starting the attack. We need a massive lightning bolt to strike down on the base and crush their first defenses is that understood?"

The girl nodded, getting several curious looks from members of her squad, including Sasuke. 'What type of genjutsu has the power to actually do damage in reality? What type of powers does she have to be capable of such tremendous strength? A Kekkai Genkai? Maybe that's why she has a clan, after all, we do have many proficient genjutsu shinobi, and the Uchiha Clan as one of the most powerful genjutsu clans alive.'

"After that the first strike force will go in. During their engagement we will support in order to provide cover and add to the confusion. The second strike force will move in not long afterwards as reinforcements for their inevitable counterattack." The members of the squad nodded, waiting to be dismissed. Upon being iven their commanding officers blessing Sasuke prepared to leave only to be grabbed by the wrist. Sasuke turned, to see Yakumo holding him.

"What," Sasuke asked, irritated. The girl merely pointed to their commanding officer who was waving the two of them over. Sasuke and Yakumo rushed over, Sasuke taking note at how slow the young Genin moved. Their commanding officer glanced at them before raising a hand, Sai walking up behind him. Seeing all of the members gathered the commanding officer, a shinobi known as Muta Aburame, glanced at each of them.

"You three are staying out of this engagement, per Hokage-sama's orders."

Sasuke immediately spoke up. "What! That's bullshit! There is no way in hell I'm-" Muta raised his hand, sending a quick blast of killer intent in order to shut Sasuke up. Sasuke shook in his boots from the quick blast, glaring daggers at the Jonin that stood before him. "I have no time for your arguing. You two, Sasuke, Sai, are to protect Yakumo from any attack she may receive while she picks off any stragglers with her genjutsu, are we clear?"

Sasuke opened his mouth to protest but Muta cut him off quickly. "Are we clear?" Sasuke snarled, but nodded nonetheless, while Yakumo and Sai merely stated, "Yes sir." Muta walked off, Sasuke glaring daggers at him the entire time.

"My my Uchiha-san, if looks could kill you would be the most powerful shinobi in the world already," Sai stated, laughing slightly at his little joke. Sasuke looked at Sai, pure loathing roaring deep inside of him before he huffed, turning away from Sai and looking at Yakumo. "Why do we have to protect you? In fact, how can your genjutsu effect reality if what the commander says is true?"

Yakumo smiled, looking at Sasuke with lifeless eyes. "I am capable of extremely potent genjutsu. More so than any Uchiha Clan member in history, even including Madara Uchiha." Sasuke's eyes burned with resentment and doubt. If that was true then her clan would have been known as the master of genjutsu, not the Uchiha, yet the girl was done yet. "I know what you are likely thinking. The Uchiha are known as the masters of genjutsu, but only because of the fact that my clans Kekkei Genkai is so rare. But think about it logically for a moment, why have two genjutsu clans in the same village? Sure, there's a slight benefit of power, but what would the weaker clan have to offer? Simple. My clans Kekkei Genkai only occurs once in a few generations, it's very unstable, but it creates a shinobi with a massive inborn talent for genjutsu, so absolute in fact that it can override the brains knowledge that the victim is in a genjutsu, thus making the brain believe that anything that happens in the genjutsu happens in real life. Meaning, that anything happening in the genjutsu physically harms the victims body. Essentially, I can kill someone with genjutsu."

Sasuke stood there, stunned at that revelation. She was not lying when she said she had genjutsu powers that surpassed Madara Uchiha. This girl had genjutsu powers that surpassed anyone in recorded history. No one was capable of killing with genjutsu, it was one of the things that irritated most genjutsu users. For such a powerful art it still lacked the sheer deathly quality that taijutsu and ninjutsu possessed, despite it possibly being the most versatile of the three. Yet this girl seemed capable of surmounting such a barrier. It was a terrifying thought.

"Why that is quite the scary Kekkei Genkai, wouldn't you say Sasuke-san," Sai asked, mocking the Uchiha's capabilities. Sasuke really felt like wringing the young boys neck but thought better of it, restraining himself. As he was about to walk away he saw Yakumo sit down, facing the fort, her eyes closed.

"What are you doing," he asked, yet the girl didn't respond. About to ask again Sasuke stomped forwards, only to be stopped by Sai. "She's meditating." Sasuke glanced at the pale boy. "Meditating? Why?" Sai glanced at the girl, a serious look on his face, one that Sasuke never would have expected to see on the boy. It was a face that shouldn't be on a Genin. "I can only guess that a Kekkei Genkai such as that must require immense amounts of chakra, so much so that she must gather it in preparation." Sasuke frowned, but accepted the explanation, before he stalked off, waiting for the signal to be made. The attack would commence in just a few hours.

Sasuke stood next to Yakumo under the cover of night, glancing around patiently. The shinobi were ready, waiting, yet the girl had yet to wake up from her meditation. Many seemed antsy and irritated that the key to the beginning of the assault was so negligent, but due to the commanders lack of caring they restrained themselves from saying anything. Just when Sasuke thought he couldn't take the silence anymore the girl stood, her eyes different. She seemed detached, uncaring of anyone or anything in her simple body posture alone.

The girl raised her hands, clasping them together in a tight handseal before thunder clouds suddenly formed instantly above the fort, causing the shinobi nearby to look at the girl in surprise. "What the hell," Sasuke stated, confused. Sai smiled. "It seems she has quite a bit of power. Such a large area of affect genjutsu to enthrall all of us, and yet affect reality. It is truly fearsome."

The thunderclouds roared before a lightning bolt shot downwards, followed by a storm of others, the roar of thunder loud over the battlefield as Konoha shinobi rushed forwards like a storm. Yet Sasuke couldn't hear them over the massive explosions and roars of nature as lightning clapped down over the base. As the shinobi exploded into action Sasuke could only watch, trying to keep track of the shouts of agony and pain he heard over the roaring of lightning and thunder. He glanced at Yakumo only for his attention to immediately be drawn towards the fort once more, a storm of lightning surrounding the building and stopping anyone from exiting or entering.

"That is truly a fearsome genjutsu."

Sasuke and Sai immediately whirled, staring down the man who appeared in front of them in a flash of fire. The man turned towards them, his blade glinting in the moonlight. "Who are you," Sasuke stated, drawing a kunai.

The man turned to them, flames flickering off of his blade before he sent them flying towards the trio. Sasuke didn't even bother attempting to counter the technique, merely grabbing Yakumo and leaping away from the attack, his Sharingan blazing. Sai leapt away just after Sasuke, the boy whipping out a scroll. The man before them frowned, raising his blade once more. As Sasuke landed he immediately unsealed the Kubikiribocho leaping towards the man.

"Who are you!" he roared, bringing his blade downwards. The man merely raised his blade, stopping Sasuke's strike in its tracks. Sasuke's eyes widened with fear as the man's blade began to cut into his own. "Genraika of the Ten Desert Shinobi, boy."

Genraika shot his other hand forwards, the punch smashing into Sasuke's stomach and sending him flying, causing Genraika to smirk. The man then turned, surprise on his face as bubbling lava shot towards him. Genraika dodged the lava, only for four lions of ink to leap at him, yet with a quick swipe of his blade the lions lay at his feet, puddles of ink. Genraika glanced towards the fort once more, noticing the lack of lightning surrounding it. Turning back to face Yakumo and the other Genin he smirked.

'It seems the girl can't hold more than one genjutsu at a time. Interesting. Sadly I lack the capability to break this genjutsu.'

Genraika waved his blade, the fire illuminating his face.

"Come now younglings," he stated. "Let me show you the realities of war."

Muta ducked under a slash from a nearby Suna ninja, kikaichu surging forwards from his gourd and swarming the ninja, draining their chakra quickly. Muta didn't stop there, letting his bugs spread across a vast area before their chattering increased to near insane levels, causing Muta to whisper. "Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Death Mirage Jutsu)."

Using the noise as a medium Muta subjected a mass of Suna ninja to his genjutsu, quickly devouring their chakra with his swarm. As they returned to him he turned, prepared to continue his assault before he was bisected by a blade of water. Genruko frowned however as the man split into hundreds of kikaichu, all flying back towards a single entity, forming Muta.

"Muta Aburame."

"Genruko of the Ten Desert Shinobi."

And with that, the two Jonin of little words engaged in a lethal battle. Muta immediately jumped away, Genruko following closely after him. Genruko immediately drew two kunai, launching them towards Muta, only for the Jonin to merely slide out of the way, but the momentary distraction allowed Genruko to close the gap between the two. Muta ducked under Genruko's first punch, only to fall directly into the path of Genruko's rising knee. Muta managed to raise his hands to block the strike, but the force lifted him off of the ground, directly into the path of Genruko's follow-up punch that Muta also blocked, but the force sent him flying into a nearby wall.

Muta bounced off the wall, groaning as he back ached from the assault, but he recovered just in time to see Genruko rushing towards him, his hand covered in water. Muta glanced at the small oasis that was providing Genruko with his water before he leapt forwards, swarms of kikaichu shooting from his body. Genruko frowned, lashing out with the water around his arm, attempting to wrap around Muta's neck, only for the swarm to block the attack. Muta then leapt over Genruko, launching two kicks that the Jonin blocked before lashing out with a kick, yet Muta's body merely exploded on contact into a swarm of kikaichu, attempting to feed off of Genruko, yet the Jonin leapt away, managing to avoid the swarm of insects.

As Genruko landed he glanced at Muta, frowning as he saw the man standing above his water supply. "That will not stop me," Genruko explained. "Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Release: Trumpet)!" Muta frowned as Genruko kneaded chakra in his stomach before firing a massive jet of water that looked eerily similar to the instrument it was named after. Muta leapt away, annoyance on his face. He hadn't expected the Jonin to knead chakra inside of him for water jutsu. While it was possible it was incredibly difficult and required much more chakra than normal, which is why suiton-specialists tended to carry water on them or use the moisture in the air. Tobirama Senju was one of the few who had mastered suiton jutsu that this didn't seem to negatively affect his chakra reserves, although he rarely used it due to his immense control over the water.

However, Genruko wasn't done, immediately switching jutsu the second Muta leapt out of the way. "Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Release: Raging Waves)!" Muta's eyes widened at the quick transformation between jutsu variations. To be able to switch between the two jutsu variations so quickly was nearly unheard of, yet he managed to avoid less-focused waterfall-like attack, noticing the the ground was quickly becoming damp due to the amount of water. 'I can't allow him to take the field advantage. I'll be dead quickly if that happens.'

Muta immediately exploded into kikaichu, but a specific species of the insect. Shokaichu, tiny worm-like variants of the kikaichu insect submerged themselves into the water, feeding on the liquid as they burrowed into the floor of the fort. Genruko frowned as he noticed some get rather big, and the water on the floor completely disappearing as the shokaichu feasted.

"Shokaichu are an amazing breed of kikaichu. They feed on water and when fully grown," he heard whisper from behind him. Genruko turned, a punch sailing towards his face that sent him hopping backwards on one foot in an attempt to not fall over. However a swift kick to his chest pushed him onto his back before the earth trembled and he found himself in darkness. "they become rather deadly," Muta stated, finishing his sentence although Genruko couldn't hear him. Muta turned, walking away from the massive shokaichu. The insects fast acting acids should dispose of Genruko fairly quickly. Good thing too, considering Muta was sure that if he fought a prolonged fight with the man he would lose.

Fate was not on Muta's side however, as as soon as the man found a good spot to continue the assault her heard a screech before intense and labored breathes. Muta turned, frowning to see Genruko standing inside of the dead insect, visible effort on the mans face. Muta frowned, snapping his fingers. More shokaichu leapt from the ground towards Genruko, yet the man roared, "Suiton Dan: Oruka (Water Release Bullet: King Lapis Flower)!"

Water from the small oasis shot into the air before water exploded from Genruko's mouth in order to make the jutsu more potent, a huge surge of water rushing forth and smashing into the shokaichu, the pressure killing the insects. Muta frowned as he looked down at Genruko, water submerging the Jonin up to his ankles. However that jutsu seemed to have taken a lot out of him. He should be capable of being defeated currently. Muta leapt towards the man, kikaichu trailing behind him. Muta launched a punch that Genruko managed to block, although the blow sent him stumbling a few steps away. His momentary lapse in strength left Muta an opening that he immediately capitalized on, a swarm of kikaichu rushing towards Genruko. The Jonin however had a counter measure and launched an explosive kunai into the swarm, attempting to detonate it only for his eyes to widen in horror as nothing happened. Muta came flying out of the swarm, a punch readied as he clocked Genruko in the gut, sending the Jonin skidding backwards.

"The kikaichu are capable of devouring the chakra inside of seals. You will have to try much harder than that if you expect to defeat me." Genruko snarled, raising a hand. "Magen: Kowaku no Kangen (Evil Illusion: Enhancing Flattery)!"

Muta's eyes widened as he realized he was in a genjutsu, but he was to slow to do anything, his connection with the kikaichu immediately cut off. A world of vast blackness surrounded the man, shackles binding his body, not allowing him to move. He heard whispers in the distance, promises of power, domination, love, sex, pleasures every human craved, dark temptations in his body before suddenly the world disappeared, replaced by the real world once more, only this time Genruko was in front of him, kunai in hand. Muta tried to react in time, stopping the blow from piercing his chest, but was to late to block it entirely, the blow piercing his gut. Muta coughed up blood, the liquid being blocked by the high collar of his jacket. As blood began to leak from his gut Muta grabbed at it, attempting to stem the bleeding as Genruko stepped backwards, pulling the kunai from Muta's body. Muta fell to the ground, his vision slowly growing hazy before he blacked out.

Genruko snorted in exhaustion before he glanced around. The battle was almost over, and Konoha had won. Even if he did manage to critically wound one of their leaders Konoha had won the battle. Genruko suddenly began to disappear, dissolving into the water at his feet. He would make sure that Konoha did not win the war.

Neji could only stare at the man in front of him. "Hiashi-sama," he muttered, his eyes wide. "Neji," Hiashi muttered. The two sat there in awkward silence before Hiashi handed Neji a scroll. Neji looked at the scroll with confusion before accepting it. "It was your fathers," Hiashi stated, gaining Neji's attention. "He wanted me to give it to you, but I didn't know when. It seems that in my wait to find the best time to tell you I waited too long. For that I am sorry. Your father Hizashi was a great man Neji," Hiashi stated, standing before he turned towards the door, opening it.

"And I have no doubt that you will surpass him," Hiashi stated matter-of-factly before he walked out of Neji's hospital room. Neji watched as the man he loathed, he despised with all of his existence walked out of his room, complimenting him and his father nonetheless. Neji could only turn to stare at the scroll in his hands before opening it.

When the nurse came to check up Neji should we find a boy with a tear-stained scroll in his hands asleep, a gentle smile on his face.

Shikamaru glanced at his father, frowning at his actions. "You're telling me that you don't want me to sign the summoning contract." Shikaku nodded, causing Shikamaru to glance at his father with suspicion. "Look, don't get me wrong I'm all for less work, but why wouldn't you want me to have another tool under my belt when we're about to go to war."

"I want to teach you something first," Shikaku stated plainly, sighing as he sat down in front of Shikamaru. "Our clan has many powerful jutsu, and it's about time I stopped slacking off and took your training seriously if we're going to be in a war. Although it's extremely troublesome."

Shikamaru frowned, agreeing with his father but remained silent. Shikaku sighed, "I have two jutsu I plan on teaching you, jutsu that I think will make you capable of using the bats effectively in combat. The Kage Nui no Jutsu (Ninja Art: Shadow Stitching Jutsu) and the Kage–Kubishibari no Jutsu (Ninja Art: Shadow Strangle Jutsu)." Shikamaru simply stared at his father at his declaration. "You really think I'll be incapable of using the bats to a sufficient level without these jutsu?"

Shikaku nodded. Shikamaru sighed. "Troublesome." Shikaku smirked at that, as Shikamaru had practically just agreed to do work. His son was smart. He knew that if he wanted to live passed this war he would have to make sure that was strong, although that went against Shikamaru's lazy nature. Shikaku sighed however as he prepared to teach Shikamaru the jutsu. This would also be troublesome for him as well.

He supposed his son possibly dying was enough of a motivator for him though.

Naruto glanced at the jutsu around him, a curious look on his face. "You think this jutsu can hold me? Come on Haku, even you can't be that foolish." Haku snarled, launching senbon at Naruto, the blonde deflecting as many as he could, although a few pierced through his guard, stabbing into his body.

"I think we can both see that I can. I move to fast for you to be able to keep track of me completely," Haku stated, before a version of him appeared on every mirror. "Now die." Senbon hailed from the heavens at Naruto who gritted his teeth, protecting his vitals from the assault as senbon shredded into his clothes. Blood trails leaked from his body as Haku appeared in the mirror in front of him.

"And this ends it!" Haku roared, shooting forwards, yet Naruto lowered his hands, glaring at Haku despite his pain. Naruto ducked as Haku lunged forwards, off balanced due to his miss as Naruto shot upwards, his knee smashing viciously into Haku's jaw before he grasped the young Genin's head, tossing him towards the ground. With a sickening crack Haku bounced off the ground, completely unconscious as his jutsu fell around the duo. Naruto could only sigh, taking out some ninja wire and wrapping it around Haku. He then picked the boy up and began to walk towards the hole Tsunade had created.

Not long after the beginning of this walk did he find Tsunade, sitting on the floor, tears staining her eyes.

"Are you okay?"

Tsunade's head snapped up upon hearing the noise, her eyes widening as if she was shocked to see Naruto. "What are you doing here?" Naruto looked at the blonde woman as if she was stupid. "I came to check up on you considering I beat this guy," he stated, dropping Haku onto the ground unceremoniously. Tsunade could only watch Haku's body in terror, noticing the boy was unconscious before glancing back at Naruto, covered in his own blood, although the wounds had already been healed thanks to the Kyuubi's chakra.

"I," Tsunade stated, almost unable to talk. "I don't know."

Naruto frowned at her answer to his previous question, sitting down next to the powerful shinobi. "What's wrong," Naruto asked. Tsunade could only shake, before she opened her mouth.

Genraika sent another wave of flame towards Sasuke, causing the red-eyed shinobi to curse, bisecting the flames with the Kubikiribocho as he stood in front of Yakumo, unable to move due to the girls sedentary position. Her lack of movement was beginning to irritate him. If she could move he wouldn't be forced to fight so defensively in order to make sure that she didn't get killed.

A bolt of thunder suddenly shot down from above, forcing Genraika to leap away, directly into combat with two massive ink snakes that kept him busy long enough for him to catch his breath. He couldn't deny that Yakumo was useful though, glancing down at the girl. She had been the main reason he was still alive in this fight. Sasuke turned back to look at Genraika, finishing off the two large serpents created by Sai's unique ink jutsu.

"You three are beginning to frustrate me," Genraika muttered, the flames on his blade beginning to change colors. Sasuke's eyes widened before he acted, lightning shooting across the Kubikiribocho before he sent a wave of lightning to combat Genraika's wave of blue flame.

"Interesting," Sasuke heard, forcing him to turn to see Genraika's face right next to his, illuminated by the fire. "A lightning-natured Uchiha. Don't see those everyday. Then again, you don't really see Uchiha everyday."

Sasuke snarled in outraged, spinning to slash Genraika only for the man to reach out with a flame covered hand and grab his sword, stopping it with barely any effort. Sasuke's eyes widened at the feat of physical strength, rage coiling in his body, although it didn't matter, as he was backhanded away, losing his grip on his blade in the process as he was sent flying. Genraika sighed, dropping the legendary blade before he glanced down at Yakumo only to realize that she wasn't there.

"The girl can use her genjutsu for transporting herself. Quite interesting. She is much craftier than I thought." Genraika then leapt into the air, slashing downwards with his blade as he did so, releasing a wave of fire that countered the plume of lava that surged into existence. As he landed he looked down to his feet, rage boiling in his body as he felt two snakes slither on his legs, not allowing him to move. Their fangs sunk into his ankles, causing him to hiss in pain, destroying the two serpents with quick slashes of his blade.

Genraika caught Sai's eyes as he spun to release another wave of fire, only for Sasuke to appear in front of him, his hand in frontof his mouth. "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique)!"

Genraika leapt away from the fireball, the flames singing his clothing as he failed to avoid it completely. He landed on the ground, rage bubbling on his face at the difficulty three Genin were giving him. Sure he wasn't going all out in order to conserve energy, but the fact that they still could stop him from killing one of them yet was astonishing, but more downright infuriating. He was an elite Jonin for damn sake, he should be able to take on three Genin even if he was holding back.

Genraika was about to stop playing around only for his eyes to widen as he noticed figures rushing off from the fort, towards the general direction of Sunagakure in elaborate patterns. He knew those patterns. Suna was signing the retreat. Snarling at his sides loss, likely due to him playing around to much, Genraika's blade roared with fire, sending a massive storm of flame towards the Genin that they couldn't hope to stop. Well, wouldn't have been able to stop if not for a powerful genjutsu user who conjured a massive wall of earth to stop the fiery attack. Genraika snarled, sheathing his blade before he leapt away, following after his fellow Suna Jonin.

Soka was not going to like hearing about this.
