Prologue:
My father has spilt his blood, sweat and tears into this fucking city, and for what? He had to go through so much bullshit, so many walls figuratively AND literally. (It shows a man sitting at a grave in the dead of night, the only light emitting from lightning and the nearby moon, hard rain dripping down. It pans over to the grave to show an engraving "Beloved Father and Husband, Simon Whittlebone" before a flash shows his father's face in deep anger as he is guiding a crew into building a house)
But he finally did it, he built the police station, the mayor's office, everything! But he was struck down by the police, arrested over trumped up charges of what? Murder? Fraud? At the end of the day it turned into some city wide fiasco. The city got away with putting him into jail and having him falsely executed. At least that's what I tell everyone who asks me about my father. (It shows flashes of the station and the mayor's office before and after it was built before it shows Simon Whittlebone brought into court, the judge's eyes looming over towards his father with a smirk before he hammers down the gaffel. It then shows Simon being dragged away with newspapers shown on the screen with titles like "Billionaire builder busted for butchers" and "Construction manganate builds city on blood". It then shows brief flashes of him on the electric chair before it fades to his son talking to a man behind a desk at the "Barbara Bros. Construction Companion".)
You see as his son I knew my father; he was guilty of everything that was put upon him. But all of the murders, the money he had to steal to build this paradise? He told me that he did everything that he did for the GOOD of the city, that the construction business was a dirty game he had to play in order to help out the fine folks of Harbor City. And they turned their backs on him, it was for naught at the end. (It shows Christopher Whittlebone walking away with a slight smirk on his face before it disappears with another flash to the father talking to his son when he was younger, showing him a couple of pictures of dead bodies before pointing at an unused tower concept, with a concept for a blimp lingering in the background.)
For so long since I was younger, when me and my mother lost everything because of it; lost the money, lost our home but more importantly a husband and father. He killed rival contractors because their skills didn't measure up to his company, killed rival politicians and roadblocks because they stopped the way of progress. He committed fraud so the government didn't take so much cash so he could help his employees, his family, keep their jobs. (Shows a mother and son walking into the rain, a foreclosure sign on the house before getting into the car driving away, both tearing up before it pans over to a picture to the family together. It then shows numerous crime scene photos of dead bodies, with it finally showing a quick flash to a derelict building with a sign that's fading away "Whittlebone Construction Company" on the sign before it falls down, covering itself in dirt)
But it didn't matter, everything blew up. That's why tonight, everything is going to change, because I met a man who understood. He told me my dad was an old friend of his, that he would be glad to help take down the city that destroyed him, as he put it: "Two birds, One Whittlebone". He told me he could help me take revenge, give me any wish that I could ever desire in life; but that as with all competitors in the competition I had to win and kill everyone else, live up to my father's namesake. It was fine by me. (It then flashes before it shows Christopher Whittlebone in an raincoat with the company name on the back; the mysterious figure pops out from the shadows only for him to be revealed as Calypso talking to him and putting a hand on his shoulder before Christopher Whittlebone smiles, shadows covering the top half of his face)
I was presented with an old Whittlebone Construction Company dozer, customized to the extreme as a present from father's old friend. I didn't doubt the man's intentions but I should have, regardless I went on my way and drove out of my father's old construction office with my new vehicle, ready to bring about the Whittlebone legacy once again…(It then shows the spot where Calypso was, only a gust of wind before it shows an old bulldozer with the company logo, armed with a lot of armor. It then shows Christopher getting in before he smashes his way out of the compound and into the distance, eager to get himself involved in the competition.)
Arenas:
Suburban Terror- "My old neighborhood, built on my family name. What a waste of good land"
Junkyard- "I can see so many good parts to add to my vehicle, if only I had the time. I will after I kill everyone"
Ghetto- "Lower income housing, how disgusting. My father would never build anything like this place. I don't understand it. Whatever, the place will be off the map soon."
Harbor Shopping Plaza- "What my mother never understood was that everything my father did was for the good of this city. But still she ratted him out, said it was "to protect us". I needed no protection."
Harbor City- "Here it is, the city which destroyed my family name. I can only envision the ruins now."
Rooftops- "So many towers to reach the heavens, my father would've loved the view."
Stadium Slaughter- "Minion….Minion….Minion. Nobody will shut up about him. He is nothing, I will show him what a machine could truly do."
Middle:
(Shows the final destruction of Minion, with Christopher Whittlebone looking at the wreckage in the stadium, crows fly over the fire) Like father like son, he built his legacy on sweat and blood; I will do the same. (Shows Whittlebone driving over the wreckage of Minion, picking up the vehicle and slamming it repeatedly into the ground until it explodes, the charred corpse of Minion on the inside being burnt and flying into the distance before getting hit by a piece of the movie, dismembering his corpse)
All of this destruction, my father would've been proud of me. I've taken charge and destroyed the competition just like he did when I was younger. That was one thing that my father taught me, that he instilled in me. Never let anyone take what is yours, whether it's women, whether it's business. Anything and everything standing in your way must be destroyed. (It shows another flashback to when Simon showed Christopher the pictures of the dead bodies, the numerous buildings before he pats Christopher on his head and talks to him, before it slowly pans over to his mother in the kitchen, looking at the two in a concerned manner before flashing in images of both Simon killing people in the past and Christopher killing contestants in the future)
But I was determined to at the very least to avoid his missteps, his ways of getting caught. It's funny, at the end of the day the reason my father was caught was because of my mother. She was thought that my father was crazy, that killing people was wrong and that for the law and for the family he would need to be locked away. That was the stupidest idea she could ever do and she did it. We lost everything because she went to the police, my father never hurt me showing me the harsher side of life, he was teaching me. (It shows a quick flash to Simon putting the pictures down near Christopher as he brings him to bed, with the mother putting the pictures in her purse before walking out of the house. It then shows sirens outside the Whittlebone home, with the mother and Christopher looking on before it slowly fades into the same shot but with the house being foreclosed and abandoned)
He taught me the world meant nothing and was a small arena with opponents that needed to be destroyed, just like the competition. The only one you could take care of is you and yourself; to him, he built this world, he wasn't a bad guy, he was just a victim of his circumstance. As flawed as that philosophy was, at the end of the day I only love him more for what he was. And it's up to me to continue his legacy, to prove his theories right, to protect and bring up the Whittlebone legacy to its heights, and Harbor City to its knees. (It shows quick flashes between Christopher's father Simon and Christopher killing the contestants in the competition before it ultimately shows the same picture of the family yet again, except this time the mother's face is crossed out only to show Simon and his son. It then shows Christopher getting into his bulldozer and driving his way out of the arena, ready to win the competition for good.)
Arenas II:
Railyard- "I will not fail father, as you have taught me as such that I can't and won't. I am a Whittlebone."
Death Port and Docks- "It's time to ship these fine contestants and citizens some coffins, courtesy of Whittlebone Construction."
Carnival of Darkness- "This clown is bizarre, I don't understand how all of these symmetries are possible? Who built this?"
SCenter- "These same people whose tower my father built for stick their fucking nose down at me and my family. I'll show them, I'll show them all the name: Whittlebone"
Sewer- "I didn't believe you when you told me you built the sewer complex Dad, I'm starting to think you're more than just a construction company owner.."
Prison Yard- "This place….it's too much for me, they locked him up here, barely fed him and executed him. No matter, when I take control I will rebuild and this will be the location of Whittlebone Tower."
Harbor Military Base- "On one hand I'd love to launch the nukes here, on the other hand I don't have any anti-radiation suits. Though I'm sure we could capitalize on the contracts with enough support."
Harbor City Airport- "To think anyone could escape the legacy that my father built. It's funny because the same legacy built this place. If only father could see me now, I'm so close to our dream"
Ending:
It was near the end of my journey, I've completed the goals that I set forth. I destroyed the competition, and I went drove slowly to the blimp as the entire city crumbled around me, bits and pieces of building falling from the sky down into the streets, destroying any property that surrounded me. I destroyed the city that my dad worked so hard to build...in a way there was a sad irony I never thought of before: all of that hard work for nothing. But when I was nearing the blimp I thought of it differently: sometimes you have to destroy, clear the way before something else could be rebuilt to perfection for the future. It was the point I decided to settle on, not wanting to think of disappointing my father. (It shows Mr. Slam driving through the wreckage of Harbor City with chunks of building falling from the buildings above, crushing people and vehicles where they lay. It shows Christopher Whittlebone, looking at the picture one last time before a tear runs down his eye and onto his cheek, before a wicked smile comes through and the tear falls to the ground before it shows an image of a dystopian city superimposed over the destruction and chaos that was formerly Harbor City.)
I drove up the ruined remains of several buildings and entered into Calypso's blimp, proud of everything that I accomplished. I got out of my bulldozer and walked up to Calypso, looking into his eyes, when his mouth started to open up. He enlightened me with something that I never heard before, but that it made sense in a twisted way: he told me that I had made his father proud, that at the end of the day he built the entire city for Calypso to destroy, to make the arenas that Calypso built his competition around. In a sense, my father was the owner of the construction company, but he built the whole world for Calypso, Calypso was HIS boss. (It shows Mr. Slam driving up a destroyed ramp and onto Calypso's blimp before it flies away slowly. It then shows Christopher Whittlebone walking out of the bulldozer and walking all the way to Calypso before he slowly raises his head as Calypso starts to speak. It then shows flashes of the city before it was built, when it was built and during its destruction. It then flashes to Simon showing Christopher the pictures, the blueprint for the Blimp clearly in the background before it fades to the left to show Simon and Calypso together shaking hands before it cuts to Calypso standing over a diorama of both Harbor City and Midtown before Calypso steps back into the shadows and it cuts to the present)
That's when he asked me what was expected of the competition: one single wish that he can grant; any and everything I could ask for, all I had to do was tell him what I wanted. But I knew better, and at the end of the day I had gotten what I asked for. My name was known in the streets, the city that threw away my father and put him into jail crumbled to the ground underneath his son's vengeance. I told him what I wanted: nothing. (It shows Calypso looking at Christopher Whittlebone, smiling with a red glow and offering his hand before Christopher looks at him with his arms crossed, cutting to black quickly)
I already had my wish, what more could Calypso probably give me? I told him that he could keep his wish. I only had one goal in mind, I would do the same thing that my father did. I would rebuild the city from the ground up, using only sweat and blood. I would fulfill my promise, and I did. My father had helped Calypso create this world, but I would rebuild it and the Whittlebone name. I built a tower so high that it towered over Calypso's blimp. I would be ready for the next competition, when it comes I will protect this city with my life and into my death. (It shows Christopher Whittlebone walking away from Calypso before it shows him killing and building the city back up to its former reputation. It then flashes to the top of the tower where the prison once was, the gate nearly falling apart as it slowly pans up to show lightning and heavy rain as Christopher Whittlebone looks down on the city in a casual shirt with a tie. He smirks at Calypso's blimp before walking off into the dark as it suddenly cuts into black)
