Ronnie Parker (AKA Thumper):
Notes: A notorious gang leader that's been on the Harbor City Police Department's shitlist for years, having gone from a good kid living the life with his family to a merciless gang warlord living in the Ghetto of our city. As sad as his story is, with his family's death thanks to the competition, that doesn't give him the right to kill people and push drugs. If rumor is true, and he's in the Twisted Metal competition, then we might have a bigger problem then we thought.
(Regular: Ronnie Parker had it all at one point: he had a loving family, a good community in the Midtown Suburbs, a future destined for success. That was until his family was killed by the Twisted Metal competition all those years ago. His family had worked hard and done things that they regret to get this peaceful and calm life. Being the only survivor, Ronnie went to the streets of Harbor City and survived the best way he could, becoming a feared gang leader in Harbor City. The neighbourhood once known as "The Harbor's Shining Jewel" became just another bleak and grey Ghetto practically overnight, brought down by the corrupt government and the constant gang warfare. Hooked on the luxuries of being a gang leader, his priorities changed when the Twisted Metal Competition came back in town. Now as an older man the Twisted Metal Competition has come back into his life. Angry at the death of his family and now wanting to defend the home he has captured, he will stop at nothing to defend what is his.)
Vehicle: A black low rider covered in graffiti with the ability to go drop top.

Crystal (AKA Grasshopper):
Notes: I've heard reports of what looks to be a dead body driving around in some sort of dune buggy, it could be a disgusting prank they've been doing on the locals here, although a couple people have seen her around. I have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with Calypso. It always has something to do with Calypso.
(Regular: After years and years of a black, cold and empty void surrounding her afterlife; she rose from a government lab. Using the same combination of mysterious powers that Calypso has used and the technological prowess of Yellow Jacket, Crystal has been brought back from the dead by a mysterious agency to be used to go against Calypso. However after having escaped, she starts having flashes in her head about her past and under the assumption that Calypso was in fact involved with her death she has entered the Twisted Metal competition to figure out who she is and why.)
Vehicle: An Offroad SUV stripped of it's parts and modified to look like Pit Viper as a disguise, except the driver operates from the back of the vehicle
Special Attack: Grasshopper jumps from the ground and smashes the targeted enemy.

Leap n' Slam
"Agent Shepherd" (AKA Crimson Fury):
Notes: "Agent Shepherd", a name that is a mystery; the only thing more mysterious than his name though is which government agency he works for. Is it CIA? Is it the FBI? Black Ops? Just who the hell is this sonofabitch and who in the hell is giving him jurisdiction to blow up our fucking city in this stupid competition! He should be helping us! Not harming us!
(Regular: "Agent Shepherd" hopes more than anything to take down Calypso but to do so he has employed the strangest methods. Both spearheading the John Doe and Banshee Programs before Calypso managed to get his hands on Banshee, he has preferred to stay in the shadows, that is until today. Realizing that he can only trust himself to finish the job properly, Shepard drives Crimson Fury in an attempt to stop anyone from taking Calypso down before he can get to him.)
Vehicle: Experimental Government Vehicle capable of going fast speeds
Special Attack: A giant laser appears out of the back of his car and proceeds to shoot at the nearest vehicle, attempting to melt the engine so much that the vehicle implodes in itself.

Madeline Kramer (AKA Twister):
Notes: Oh boy, this one's a keeper. She was a famous race car driver just like the legend Sam Boomer was. She was the black sheep of her family, all involved in racing. Has a HUGE ego and a constant almost sexual lust for fame and winning from what I've heard. She constantly trashed her family members, is violent with an IQ of 82 and was accused of having set up the death of Sam Boomer after she threatened him and falsely accused him of having an affair with her while still married to his wife. After her family publicly disowned her, she disappeared off the map completely. Some say she was locked away in Blackfield, some say she killed herself in a Speed overdose. Whichever way, I wouldn't wanna be around her.
(Regular: Consumed by anger of being disowned and lusting for eternal fame and glory, she's more than willing to kill if it means getting to the top. It was like that before, but since being introduced to the Twisted Metal competition, she has found a new avenue for her thrills. It's too bad for her, she considers losing to be death. This time it's literally the case.)
Vehicle: A heirloom in her family, a formula race car bearing the Kramer name.
Special Attack: She spins around so fast that it literally creates a giant twister which sucks up, spins and eventually throws out opponents, making them suffer through all kinds of damage.

Tornado Vortex
Officer Amy Dunsborough (AKA Renegade/Outlaw II):
Notes: A noted loose cannon on the streets of Harbor City, Dunsborough has joined the competition to get the whereabouts of her dead brother's killer by any means necessary. She has broken protocol several times, has brutally broken bones and fractured limbs of anyone dumb enough to stand in her way, and criminals have stood in her way numerous times. Talks with her therapist show that she's being treated for suicidal tendencies, depression, destructive anger, all kinds of nasty shit. Recently she herself disappeared off of the map, investigating the recent Twisted Metal tournament as many other cops have. No one knows where she is, if anyone can find her or at least report back some information on her disappearance it would be relieve the rest of the station.
(Regular: With her brother having died of foul play, Officer Amy Dunsborough will do any and everything to find out who killed him. By joining the Twisted Metal Tournament, not only does she plan to find out this truth, but she plans to double cross Calypso and bring him in as well)
Vehicle: A trashed up police car, re-purposed and custom built with armor plates to sustain repeated gunfire and explosions.
Special Attack: An omni-directional taser that locks onto the nearest vehicle and inflicts a moderate amount of electrical damage before zapping the enemy into the air with a quick electrical strike
