Prologue:

I stayed up, waiting in anticipation to get a response from Josh. Hours flew by and I hadn't seen him since our fight at dinner and now it was one in the morning. It happened every once in a while as we were siblings living together due to economic pay problems, and it was over something so stupid that I don't even remember what it was. Normally when a fight would happen he would eventually come back at least by ten but I haven't gotten any responses from texts, nothing at all. He just disappeared off of the face of this earth, and I was getting really worried. After a bunch of unanswered phone calls and texts, I called Hank to see if he talked to him. (It shows a pan shot over to a phone with multiple unanswered texts before it cuts to a crow flying away from her house and it pans into the kitchen to Amy getting a drink and looking at the clock before it flashes to them arguing with loud noises and "Fuck you" being echoed while the clock goes by fast from six pm to one in the morning. It shows her waking up from a nap, with the whiskey bottle spilt on the floor she checks her phone and calls Hank, which pans over to a picture of the three posing together.)

Hank and him were buddies in the force and became basically my best friend when my brother Josh introduced me to him at the academy. After no responses and an accidental micro nap I woke up to the sounds of ringing panic, and I was right. Hank told me that it was important and to come down to the station as what happened on the phone was too important to talk over. I agreed and went down, scared for what had happened to Josh as I feared that he got into a car accident and died. (It shows home footage of Hank and Josh palling around at the station before it cuts to Amy and Hank meeting, with a slightly odd look on Hank's face. It then cuts to Amy looking at her phone before it cuts to her waking up from black to see Hank calling her. It then cuts to Amy getting on her work clothes and getting in her car, which continues with a long stretch of road that looks like it never ends as Amy repeats flashes of the fight and a flash of Josh getting into a car accident and getting t-boned.)

When I finally went down to the station, he brought me to the coroner's office inside and told me he had some bad news. As soon as Hank got my texts a police dispatch request had come in to discover a supposed hit and run at a ravine nearby that was witnessed. When he went to go see what happened he knew he hadn't discovered a hit and run but something much worse.. (It shows her being escorted by Hank through the station into the coroner's office, with each step having her look more and more panicked. It then cuts to Hank sitting her down and having a flash to Hank driving around nearby when he picks up the dispatch receiver, before it cuts to him driving near a ravine. It then shows him getting out and shining a flashlight before a look of utter shock finds his face)

He found my brother, it was just ...his decapitated corpse next to his car. I couldn't believe it, my brother Josh he….I couldn't control it. I just sat there and cried until I couldn't breathe anymore. I couldn't believe that the last time I talked to him it was a fight, and that some asshole took him away from me. I wanted answers, and Hank started telling me about a suspect that might have been involved with a machete before everything started fading out again. (It shows a brutally decapitated corpse with dry blood staining the cop's uniform before everything begins to go fuzzy and it cuts back to Angela tearing up and the coroner throws the blanket back over his body. It shows a replay of the fight before she imagines a man decapitating him with a machete, before it cuts to Hank holding her for a bit. It then fades out to show Amy in a similar position in the driver's side of her car, with bags under her eyes and a path of destruction laid out before her.)

I woke up back at the starting arena to the Twisted Metal Competition, the nightmare had repeated for the fifth time this week. Everything else was a little foggy at the moment because I had no time to think before everyone started to go in. A long haired man in the sports car right next to me nodded as he drove at supersonic speed next to me ready to kill anyone who got in his way. I decided to follow his lead and I drove into the competition that would help me get my answers. (It shows the path from the Junkyard to the Suburban neighborhood nearby, before it cuts back to everyone from Sweet Tooth and Spectre to Junkyard Dog and Yellow Jacket shooting at each other before a man in a red sports car drives up, nods and zooms right past her. It then cuts to her hitting the gas before the exhaust shoots out smoke as she drives into the distance)

Arenas:

Suburban Terror- "Only his severed body...that's the last image you left me with"

Junkyard- "There's another cop here? Jesus...not everything meets the eye I guess"

Ghetto- "Fuck it, at this point my badge is pointless considering we're not protecting anyone anymore"

Harbor Shopping Plaza- "So many happy times I had with you Josh, you were the only one I ever had in our childhood..."

Harbor City- "...It only makes sense that I followed you into the same career as you into adulthood"

Rooftops- "Forgive me brother, I didn't mean the words I said! Please forgive me, wherever you are"

Stadium Slaughter- "And my therapist told me that I had issues, she clearly hasn't ever seen this guy"

Middle:

(Shows the final destruction of Minion, with Amy Dunsborough looking at the wreckage in the stadium, crows fly over the fire) Nothing will stand in my way from finding the bastard who killed Josh (Amy proceeds to handcuffing Minion to his vehicle then tying a rope around the back of her car before she proceeds to hit the nitrous and drive off quickly, ripping Minion in half)

God the catharsis of murder feels so good, I couldn't believe ME out of all people could understand how that disgusting clown felt when he drew a victim's breath close. But for the first time since my brother's death, I felt...at ease and peaceful. The calm soothing voice of comfortable darkness calIed me, and I decided to take a nap for a bit in my car, with my eyes drifting off from the sight of Minion's corpse and the fire behind it to the moments after the discovery. (It shows her driving slowly towards the corpse and the destroyed Minion's vehicle as she drifts off into the darkness before it cuts to her brother's decapitated corpse.)

I woke up to see myself in an out of body experience, with Hank holding and consoling me telling me everything was going to be ok. And from then on he was the only support system I had since our parents kicked us out of the house and my brother died, but even then I didn't have anything as from then on I just lived in a shitty apartment by myself. Hell he was the only person I talked to on a daily basis until the commissioner brought me in and told me I was off the force temporarily. It was a familiar thought, his death inspired me to use my anger against the perps and now Internal Affairs was investigating or something like that, like fuck if they didn't deserve it anyways. All I would ever think of is the day I get the fuck who ruined my life, which I basically did after I destroyed a man's jaw who had a machete that Hank was chasing after for a while, the DNA matching Josh. After I got suspended I stopped talking to Hank as much but someone else got in contact with me, a man who said he was from "Internal Affairs" himself, but I doubted it. (It pans over to Hank holding Amy while she's tearing up before he takes her out of the room and back to her apartment with a framed photo of her family before it shows the parents scratched out and only her and Josh. It then cuts to her waking up in the Commissioner's office with a file thrown in front of her. It then shows the chief ranting and raving before it pans to her face as it flashes with her brutalizing suspect after suspect, finally finishing it off with a punch so hard to a jaw that it's forced upwards before it cuts to black. It then shows Hank consoling her outside of her home and getting back into his squad car before his car slowly disappears into the snow.)

He told me that he had heard about what had happened with my brother and was sympathetic to my pain but that with the investigation going on he looked around and something didn't add up. After proceeding to ramble on about whatever he was on about for a couple of minutes or so he told me of something interesting that he had heard about. He told me that the Twisted Metal competition was back in town, after so many years and that he wanted MY help in taking it down. He told me that the killer could be in there, that he guessed it was the clown and that if I helped him take down Calypso, I could use his wish and find my brother's killer, find out what happened to him and then we could take down Calypso himself, either way it was a win win and he had more odds in his favor than not. (It shows the long haired man rambling on and on while it cuts to Amy's eyes showing them to be normal at first before cutting to fire and destruction with the Twisted Metal competition and Calypso's face before finally cutting to her brother's body, with the image being covered up by a tear falling down her face.)

At this rate no progress was made in the case since I broke the suspect's jaw so I agreed with him, told him that anything he wanted me to do that I would be available. After telling me the usual of how this was a "Black Operation", that I was to tell no one and disappear and that I would be contacted I did exactly that. I got my invitation and from then on this was the path I was going to take. I don't care what happens from here on out, I still have a purpose! (It shows Amy looking into the mysterious long haired man's eyes before it pans to her shaking hands with him as he gives her the rundown. It then shows him disappearing into the darkness with his sports car before Amy wakes up in her car and drives out into the distance towards the Blimp ready to get justice with one final shot of a shard getting stuck in Amy's knee.)

Arenas II:

Railyard- "Fuck it, Calypso will die too. Everyone will die. I broke too many rules to get here"

Death Port and Docks- "I still tear up every time I think about our fight, the fact that those words were the last thing I ever said to you"

Carnival of Darkness- "Fuck it, the clown fits the M.O., I don't care if he didn't kill him I need my release, NOW!"

SCenter- "It didn't matter Josh, what rank we were in. We had each other ...I miss you"

Sewer- "Reeks of corpses, luckily I'm used to the smell by now"

Prison Yard- "They're staring at me with those disgusting fucking eyes of theirs, I'm looking forward what their eyes say when I run them the fuck over"

Harbor Military Base- "Why can't I feel anything anymore…why do I just feel emptiness...nothingness?"

Harbor City Airport- "It'll be ok brother, we will be together soon, I will find out who did this!"

Ending:

It took a good while of dedication and pure will but I conquered this competition and went up to the Wishmaster to find the truth of who the bastard was that killed my brother. (Shows Amy Dunsbourough crashing into Calypso's throne room in the blimp, drifting in front of a bunch of armed guards who bring their assault rifles up only for Calypso to tell them to put the guns down.)

I approached Calypso, knowing that since I beat his contest I will get my wish. After all, knowing him since the wish will be about revenge he'll let me go, though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to kill him anyways in memory for my employer. But for now that's a different day, something I'm not going to worry about now. My final wish was in my hands, I was so excited that the words just slipped out of my mouth without thinking. (It shows Amy limping with a metal shard sticking out of her leg while she brutally bites her lip with blood coming out before she stops in front of Calypso, kneeling down in pain. It shows the corner of her eyes looking towards her pistol before looking back into Calypso's eyes. Her mouth opens before it cuts to black)

I told him everything about Josh's murder, about how close we were, about how I wanted to find out who the bastard was that took him away from me, the one closest to me. As I told Calypso just stared at me before he interrupted me to ask me if this is what I truly wanted. When I said yes and questioned him he told me I might not like what I would find out. That made me hesitant but to me it didn't matter, I HAD to know who killed him. He did some weird magic shit and then everything went black. (It shows brief but piercing black flashes of Josh's murder and them in happier times before it cuts back to her on the line of duty shooting at suspects. It pans from Calypso's face to Amy's face once again, before Calypso lays his hand on her forehead, red lights coming out of his eyes before lightning strikes the ground, followed by black)

I woke up in a prison cell next to a man chained down to a prison cot, a bag over his head. I was confused at first but thankful that Calypso didn't somehow turn it into me killing Josh or something. My thankfulness turned to rage as I finally unmasked the man chained down only to find one of those closest to me in complete shock and anger. (It shows her waking up in a jail cell, darkness all around it with one light at the top, while on her knees with the shard still in her knee. It then shows her crawling over to a man chained up in a prison uniform and strapped to the cot with a bag on his head. It then pans over to Amy's face, and then her hands as she takes off the mask and cuts to black again.)

It was Hank, one of my best friends if not my only best friend I had. When I asked him why he told me everything. He fell for me hard when we first met, and had a huge crush on me for a long time. He came over to my house one day only to find me and Josh... strengthening our connection. He got upset and disgusted and plotted to kill my brother. He killed the only man that I've ever loved out of pure jealousy. (It then cuts to intense light before it finally shows Hank's face as he tears up before it flashes their first meeting and showing up to her house with flowers before he peaks in the window to show her under the blankets with another man, bed vibrating before Josh eventually pops out in his underwear obscured by shadows with only the lamp light exposing his face before it shows Hank dropping his flowers. It eventually shows Hank driving into Josh's car with him in it upset before the car crashes into the ravine nearby, where he pulls out a machete and cuts off Josh's head, before he eventually places it back into a bag and drives off)

From there I ripped out the metal shard in my knee and just went in, and for the last time everything went black. I felt absolutely nothing in the moment and when I came back, I saw nothing but a bloody corpse, nearly decapitated with stab wounds everywhere. All I could do from there was cry, just sit there and cry for a while and hold him. Anything that happened after that was a nightmare with the realization that I had lost everything without ever being able to return. (It shows her ripping out the shard with blood shooting out of her knee before it cuts back to her emotionless face as she brings her arm down to his body before it cuts to black. It eventually shows Hank's corpse brutally destroyed when she collapses and cries on the floor but holds his arm in the pitch black. It eventually shows her just lying there with muffled voices that say to "Get her in the ambulance', "Inspect the body', and "How the hell did they get in'' before it finally cuts to both her dead brother's head and Hank looking at her while she's lying down in a hospital bed comatose but present to her as they stare before it cuts to the same picture of the three posing in happier times before finally cutting to black.)

Note: Hey guys I know I'm late like usual but I didn't have much time to do anything until basically now! I'm going to try to at least get one or two, maybe if I'm lucky the last three chapters are done while this contagion is going around. Like usual, PLEASE STAY SAFE; wash your hands, do all of that! I know it's preaching to the choir but there's a reason the choir is preaching to begin with. As usual of course if anyone has any critiques make sure to leave a review and I hope you guys have a great day!
