I don't own EoA. As I said in the last chapter I'm not in the best place mentally and really need to post something
Five-year-old Gabe Nunez could not stop itching.
"Gabriel don't scratch, mijo," his mother Blanca told him.
"Mami, it itches," Gabe complained itching the red dots all over his body. Blanca put more lotion on Gabe's rash.
"Mami, I don't like being sick. Why did I have to get chicken pox?"
"Gabe, everyone gets chicken pox, I had them, your papa had them," Blanca whispered making sure every last pox marked area of Gabe's skin was cover in lotion.
"Mami, make the itching stop," the five-year-old cried. Blanca pulled him into a hug and started to sing him a lullaby. Roberto walked into Gabe's bedroom.
"Blanca, how is Gabe doing is her still scratching?" He asked looking at his half-asleep son in his wife's arms.
"He is still scratching, how long does chicken pox last again?" She asked tucking Gabe into bed.
"About a week, but his case is quite tasty. So maybe a little longer, poor boy," Roberto said kissing his son's pox marked forehead.
"Let's let him nap, hopefully he will get better soon," Blanca said before leaving the five-year-old's bedroom.
"Papi, stay here por favor?" Gabe asked sleepily.
"Ok, Gabe, want me to tell you a story back when I used to play olaball?" Roberto asked, Gabe nodded.
"Ok, than mijo," he said going back to Gabe's bed and seating next to him. Roberto started to tell Gabe a story stopping every few minutes telling him not to scratch.
"Papi, that was a cool story. Can you make me stop itchy?" Gabe asked.
"I'll make you an oatmeal bath, it will make you less itchy."
"I don't like baths," Gabe pouted. Roberto smiled and laughed about how adorable his son was being.
