Kimiko brightened and gave a bright smile, "Y-Yes sir! I'll do my best!"
Toriko blushed as he looked at Kimiko making Moriji smirk
"So is she your girlfriend, Toriko" Moriji whispered to Toriko, making him jump
"No! It's not like that!" Toriko exclaimed
"Is something wrong" Kimiko asked
"Nothing! It's just" Toriko said, "I bet that you're relieved that you could go"
"Yeah!" Kimiko exclaimed making him smile
Kimiko looked at the white bag that was handed to her.
"What's this?" she said and opened it, "They're suits" she looked at the skin tight suit, and then let her eyes wander around to look at all of the Bishokuyas that were on the ship to Ice Hell.
"Now then, gentlemen, I'll now be telling you the location of the Century Soup." Colonel Mokkoi said while his pipe hung from his mouth, "Our destination is Ice Hell."
"Ice Hell!"
"Are you serious"
"The hell of intense cold that freezes everything?!"
"It's also known as the 'Bishokuya Refrigerator'" Colonel said as he continued to explain about Ice Hell.
Ice Hell must be a graveyard, if it's causing all of these Bishokuyas to act up, Kimiko shivered in fear as she looked at the other Bishokuyas. That was when she felt a large hand pat her head.
"It's okay, Kimi" Toriko said making her look at him, "I won't let anything bad happen to you"
Toriko-san, Kimiko thought while blushing and then gave him a warm smile, "Yeah"
"Geez. The rich's network of information sure is incredible" Toriko said as he watched a couple of birds fly over the boat. He had already changed into a black lighter suit with orange lines running across it.
"Yes. And he even prepared something like these for us to defend against the cold." Kimiko said as she walked up to him wearing a black lighter suit but with green lines. Toriko's eyes widened as he saw Kimiko.
That's, he thought looking at Kimiko while noticing how the suit outlined her figure, which her normal clothes usually hid and blushed looking the other way
"Yeah, I suppose..." then he looked around, taking note of a few males looking at Kimiko with eyes that said anything but innocent intentions, that made him clench his teeth glaring daggers at them, making them shiver and look away, making Toriko smirk in satisfaction.
"Oh, Toriko-san? Why are you smirking all of a sudden?"Kimiko asked with innocence "did something good happen?"
"Uh," Toriko quickly said, "I'm just glad that I'm not feeling cold"
"Oh, it is nice isn't it" Kimiko said, "It's because of the frictional heat from the material, right"
"Exactly" Toriko said making Kimiko giggle, that was when she heard a clopping sound. She looked over to see the young man that she saw at the tavern riding on horse.
"But unfortunately, there weren't any for horses" he said, he was wearing a lighter suit with purple lines, "Hello, Toriko-san. I am Takimaru of the Gourmet Knights"
"Oh, the Gourmet Knights" Toriko chuckled, "they're a group that honors natural food. They are a few of them, but they all have strong spirits."
"Gourmet knights?" Kimiko said aloud making the young male take notice of her, and immediately blushed, quickly directing his gaze toward Toriko.
Did I do something to offend him, Kimiko thought with a pout.
"I'm just surprised that they have someone so young with them" Toriko said while looking at Takimaru
"I'm a new member" Takimaru said
"I see, so how's Ai doing?" Toriko asked
Takimaru hesitated and then smiled, "Yes. Our leader is doing quite well. He'll be surprised I'm meeting and speaking with you Toriko-san"
That was when Kimiko heard the sound of a siren going off,
"What's that for?" she said and then heard a crash. She quickly turned around to see a gigantic blue crocodile climb onto the boat.
"Heh. A Sharcrocodile, huh?" Toriko said while smiling and then clapped his hands together, "I give thanks to all of the ingredients in the world. Idtadakimasu!" He then quickly ran up the creature and punched it on it's underbelly, "Knocking complete" the creature tumbled back showing that Toriko had only hit it with his index finger
"Amazing. He did Knocking with just his finger" Takimaru said and then saw that there were more Sharcrocodiles climbing onto the ship
"Just what you'd expect from Toriko-san" Kimiko said and giggled. That was when all of the other Bishokuyas on the ship had started to charge towards the Sharcrocodile. She watched as all of the others used their weapons and saw that Zombie threw his axe at one, which had no effect and watched as he and subordinates ran away.
Can someone please tell me how these guys are still alive, Kimiko thought and sighed
"How noisy" Kimiko looked over to see the heavily scarred blonde man from the bar walk over. He was wearing his white suit over his lighter suit
"Match-san" one of his subordinates said as Match drew his sword
"Iai Sanmai Oroshi!" he said and the Sharcrocodile that was heading for him was cut into three pieces
"Amazing!" Kimiko said looking at the scarred man 'I didn't even see him move!' Kimiko thought,
Crack!
Kimiko looked back over to Takimaru who was standing over a fallen Sharcrocodile.
"Oh, he dislodged the bones" Toriko said getting Kimiko's attention, "Just what I'd expect from a member of the Gourmet Knights"
So that's what the cracking sound I heard was, Kimiko thought and then ran towards Toriko, "Toriko-san!"
"Hey Kimi," Toriko said, "It looks like you're getting used to all of this"
"Well kind of" Kimiko said that was when the boat shook and a gigantic eel like creature emerged from the water and roared
"SAN REN KUGI PUNCH!" Toriko yelled as he delivered his attack at the creature
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! and it was flung back into the ocean. "Hey check it out everyone!" Everyone looked at a significantly large piece of ice that was about the size of a mountain.
"Exactly, that is the continent of ice, Ice Hell" The Colonel said from the top of the ship
"It's huge" Kimiko said while looking at it, "Isn't it amazing, Toriko-san?
"So we gotta climb this, huh?" Toriko mused
"I wish you all Food Luck" The Colonel said and then went back into his room as the ship went closer to the continent.
Kimiko sighed as the ship slowly started to move closer to Ice Hell, "This trip is seriously too dangerous"
"I know, that's the main reason why there are so many bishokuyas, strong in the numbers or some crap like that" He said and grinned "but they are here only because the payment, but our goal is totally different..."
"to eat delicious food, right Toriko-san?" state Kimiko with a giggle making Toriko nod enthusiastically
They were soon halted from their conversation as they heard a large noise, Toriko and Kimiko both looked up to see a large piece of an iceberg had fallen off and was heading towards the boat.
"Toriko-san!" Kimiko cried as the ships cannon tried to break the iceberg, but had little luck, making everyone run to the back end of the boat. Kimiko looked around and saw that Match was holding his katana, ready to strike.
"Don't get flustered, Kimi" Toriko said and patted her head, "Stand back, everyone!" everyone stood back as they wondered what he was going to do.
"FLYING KNIFE!" Toriko threw his right arm out and sent a cut through the iceberg, he then lifted his left hand, "FLYING FORK!" creating a crack in the iceberg, " 5 REN KUGI PUNCH!" the iceberg split in half and fell into the sea.
"What just happened!"
"The ice was split in half!"
"That was amazing!"
"Toriko-san!" Kimiko called out as she ran towards Toriko and hugged him, "That was amazing!" she said with a smile making him blush and chuckled in embarrassment
"Thanks" Toriko mumbled, Kimiko frowned in concern, she blinked and realized what she was doing, she blushed and immediately jumped away.
"oh, sorry!" Kimiko said with a nervous giggle "I was just so scared and then you just did that! that was awesome!"
"Now you will be transported by helicopter. They will carry you gentlemen to near the top of the ice shelf. After that you'll need to climb up with your own power. That is because helicopters and airplanes cannot land in Ice Hell. When you get there, you'll understand why." The Colonel explained, "We've already lost many people at this point. There's only one helicopter, but if we split into two groups we can transport all of you"
Everyone cheered as they were getting ready to go to Ice Hell.
"I'll go on the second one. I don't wanna go until I've got all the food supplies I want ready" Kimiko recognized him as the man at the bar that was in an eating competition with another bishokuya.
"Okay, Kimi, let's go in the first camp" Toriko suggested
"Sure" Kimiko gave him a bright smile causing him to blush
"Toriko-san, your face is turning red" Kimiko pointed out making Toriko laugh, trying to cover it up
"It's nothing, come on, Kimi, let's go get our supplies" he said
"That client Colonel-san sure is brave" Kimiko said as she waited with the rest of the Bishokuyas in the helicopter, "He came all the way into this danger zone with us"
"Don't you know missy" the old bishokuya right next to her said, "He had all those black suits around him. Those guys are gourmet SP. They're all elite bodyguards"
"I see. So that's why Chairman Colonel was relaxed coming to a place like this, even with all the wild beasts" Kimiko said
"He didn't come" Toriko said getting the two's attention," Colonel didn't come"
"What are you talking about? He was talking to us while we were on the boat" the man said and then left.
"Toriko-san, what do you mean by that?" Kimiko asked.
Toriko chuckled and patted her head, "I'll tell you later. Looks like we're landing"
"You'll all have to climb with your own power from here" the helicopter pilot said, "The wind above here is too strong, we can't get close. We're going to pick up the second camp now." he then closed the door and took off.
"Wow!" Kimiko said in wonder, "we're really high, and even though we need to climb more, there is no way someone could survive a fall like this" she thought aloud making some of the group start to sweat in fear, then she peeked down making her lose her balance, thinking quick Toriko caught her before she can slip or be in any real danger.
she's going to get herself killed before we climb the wall, the group thought.
"Be more careful Kimi" Toriko scolded while lightly ruffling her hair making her pout
"I'm being careful! It's not my fault I'm a clumsy person" she complained with a light blush making him chuckle, "besides I'm not in danger if you are close" she stated making him blush a little to then ruffle her hair again, "Toriko-San!" she complained while playfully slapping his hand away.
Toriko chuckled and then crouched down, "Come on Kimiko, I'll carry you up"
"Thank you" she said as she climbed onto his back
"Are you two done flirting yet?" one of the guys in the group asked making the two blush
"We're not flirting!" they both exclaimed with red faces.
"Anyway, let's just hurry and get to climbing" Toriko said while he started to scale the ice with the rest of the group following behind him. While nearing the top Toriko accidently slipped making Kimiko gasp in surprise. He quickly grabbed onto the ice again and sighed in relief, "Are you okay Kimiko?"
"I'm alright" she said while clutching onto his back.
"Takimaru, be careful, this place will get the better of you if you aren't prepared" he warned as he reached the top and was immediately assaulted by a frigid harsh wind. He struggled to open his eyes and then heard Kimiko whimper. "Kimiko, what's wrong?"
"Toriko-san! Look in front of us! The guard of Ice Hell, the Tundra Dragon, is frozen!" Kimiko exclaimed in fear.
"What!?" Toriko exclaimed and sure enough in front of them was a large dragon that was frozen with it's mouth open as if it was about to roar.
How is this possible, he thought
