Three years had passed since I had last seen Kakarot and the others and out of an unknown reason I had missed this idiot. It was early morning and I went through the streets of the island papaya in the direction of the tournament area, the enlist time for the tournament would start soon and this time I wouldn't allow that I couldn't participate I had promised it to Kakarot after all. I reached the area when they where putting up the table to enlist. "Pardon could I already enlist myself for the tournament?" I asked the small man behind the table. "O-of course", he stuttered and handed me the form. Annoyed I rolled my eyes, since my first heat all man reacted on the same way to me. Quickly I enlisted and went away. Shortly before the enlist time I passed the tournament area again on my way back to the hotel. I was over the road and saw how a larger group was talking with each other one of them I recognized immediately. Kakarot, he stood at the edge of the group and laughed, the wind picked up a little and carried his very familiar smell over to me, immediately I felt calmer. I could also hear the voices of the group now. "Looks like Vic isn't coming", Yamcha said. "Yeah and even though", Kakarot began but than shook his head. I smiled and went away that would be quite the surprise tomorrow.
On the next morning I got up early, took a shower and then put on my orange fighting Sari that I had gotten tailored especially for today. As always I wrapped my tail around my hips. On last gaze into the mirror and I got on my way to the tournament area. As I entered the house in which the prelim fights took place happened what always happened all men were starring at me. I snorted annoyed why did I have so many female curves. My protruding Hips and my Breasts practically invented the men to hit on me stupidly. In the crowd I spotted Yamcha, who was looking in my direction and I quickly disappeared into the crowd. There I felt somebody grasping my but and I spun around abruptly. "Hi Sweety did you got lost?" the guy asked and grinned at my sleazy. "Look out or you're going to fly through the wall", I said menacing and went away. Soon I reached Kakarot and his friends. Until now they hadn't seen me and looked at Krillin. "This can't be the only other person to wear such a battle gear is Vic and as we know Vic is a guy", he said. "Oh really", I said and all gazes turned to me. Krillin and Yamcha were starring at me open mouthed. I rolled my eyes and looked to Kakarot who was standing behind them and smiled at me softly, I returned the smile honestly because he wasn't looking at me like I was an object. "Hello Goku", I said. "Hey Vic you came after all", he said happily. "Of course I promised to you after all." "One moment you're Vic but I thought." "That I'm a guy yeah I heard that", I cut Krillin off. "Vic isn't a typical Name for a girl", Yamcha defended himself. "Victoria nice to meet you", I said and bowed mockingly. As I looked up I could that Kakarots grin had gotten even bigger and I felt how my cheeks heated up. Yamcha and Krillin started talking and I went past them to Tien and Kakarot. "It's nice to see you again Victoria", Tien said. "You knew it didn't you?" I asked him. "From our first encounter", he said and smiled. I shook my head and turned to Kakarot. "You've grown quite a bit", I said and looked up to him. He laughed and scratched the back of his head embarrassed but suddenly became serious again and looked at the entry. I followed his gaze and startled when I saw who was standing there. "Don't worry I want let him hurt you or anyone else", I heard Kakarot say softly and felt how his arm tightened under my hands, I hadn't realized I had grasped them, quickly I let go of him and turned away. "Is that?" Tien asked so quietly that only I and Kakarot could hear him. "The great demon king yeah but stay quiet or there will be only chaos here", Kakarot said strict.
We got in line to draw our number for the preliminary round. Like in the last years we drew such different numbers that we would only meet each other in the quarter finals. "What a coincidence", Krillin laughed as he realized that. "Yes coincidence", I said and looked at Chiaotzu something told me that he had something to do with that. Because I was the first to fight the boys accompanied me to my ring to watch my battle. To my pleasure I met the guy who had groped me before and throw him without much making much bones into the next wall. "That was really good but did you have to be this rough?" Krillin asked me as I jumped down from the ring. "I still had a personal invoice open with him" I said with a shrug. So we battle one after the other into the quarterfinals. Kakarot had just finished his battle and came to me I wanted to congratulate him when we heard a scream. As fast as we could we went to the last ring. Chiaotzu was laying on the ground k.o. and above him stood a smirking guy. "Mercenary Tao but I thought you had defeated him", Tien said to Kakrot. "I thought so as well." Kakarot kept talking with the others while I was looking at the qualifications for the quarterfinal. Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Kakarot, Junior, Shen, Mercenary Tao and I would competed against each other. "Tori." Irritated I turned around and saw that Kakarot was standing behind me. "Come", he said and pulled me outside where we met Bulma, Roshi and Lunch. While Yamcha informed the three over our success Roshi looked at me closely. "That's quite nice but who is this pretty young lady?" the old pervert wanted to know. "Vic nice to see you again master", I said and bowed a little. "Oh Vic of course come here and let me take a look at you." Skeptical I took a step forward Roshi who was still looking strange at me and turned around in front of him once. In the corner of my eye I could see a movement and then I saw that Kakarot hat griped the old one at his wrist and sneered at him. "Touch her and you lose your hand", he said menacing. "Goku", Bulma gasped. Quickly he let go of Roshis Hand und apologized then we returned to the arena. The luck of the draw was on my side then I would already compete against Kakarot in the Quarterfinals.
