"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the 23. Great Tournament. In the Quarterfinals fight: Goku vs. Victoria, Mercenary Tao against Tien, Krillin against Junior and Shen vs. Yamcha. Let's start with our first fight. Goku against Victoria", the host greeted the spectators to the tournament. Kakarot and I entered the ring. "Both Goku and Victoria have already taken place in the tournament before whereas Goku has been a bit more successful than Victoria. Please take your places now." Goku and I took our places across from each other. Then the gong rang and I launched myself at Kakarot right away. To my distress Kakarot was dam fast and avoided my punches most of the time. After some minutes I stood in front of him breathing hart. "Attack me!" I screamed at him. "Tori please I don't want to hurt you", he said softly. Suddenly the wind picket up and once more Kakarots smell got into my nose, I let my hand drop and stared at him wide eyed. My tail was twitching lightly, that couldn't be that was impossible. "Tori is everything okay?" Kakarot asked and tilted his head. "I'm sorry", I said turned around and went out of the ring. Would I continue to fight I wouldn't be able to control myself, it had fallen from my eyes like scales, every Saiyan had a mate who was a perfect fit for him and in my case it was Kakarot for better or worse. To put it short I had fallen in love with Kakarot no with Goku. As fast as I could I went into the building that belonged to the fighting area. Behind my I could hear Goku scream. Suddenly he snatched my wrist and turned me around to him. "What's wrong with you Victoria?" he asked. "What do you want?" I asked back and pulled myself free. "Since we know each other your talking about that you want to fight me to destroy me and now you just running away." "I can't fight against you", I whispered and looked to the ground. "But why not?" he asked me and looked at me confused. "I just can't so just let it be", I grumbled and went past him to watch the other fights. "Everything okay with you?" Yamcha asked as I stopped beside him. "Yeah", I said and looked to Goku.
In the semifinal Goku fought against Tien and struggled clearly, that's why he asked for a short break and started to undress himself. "What's wrong with Goku he can't even take off his shirt", Krillin said beside me, but I barely hear him cause I was staring at Goku unashamedly. Suddenly I saw a hand waving in front of my eyes and looked at Krillin who was grinning at me. "You've got a crush on him", he said bluntly. Quickly I looked away again and felt how I was getting bright red. As Goku had gotten rid of his heavy clothes Krillin wanted to get them but could barely lift them unnerved I rolled my eyes and went to the ring. "Give it to me", I said to Krillin and through the shirt over my shoulder, took the boots and the sweatbands and carried them as if they where nothing away from the ring. Now that Goku had gotten rid of his clothes he was much faster and could beat Tien effortlessly. In the second semifinal Shen fought against Piccolo where we learned that Kami was inside Shens Body unfortunately he hadn't a chance against the head demon und was captured inside a rice cooker by him and got eaten.
Now Goku would fight against Piccolo in the final. Before Goku got into the ring I snatched his wrist. Confused he turned forward me. "Goku please be careful", I said and looked at him beseeching. Goku put his hands on my shoulders and said: "Don't' worry I will beat him." Then he turned away and went into the ring. Goku and Piccolo had a fight like I had rarely seen but Goku was holding himself back. "Goku don't hold back if you kill him we can get Kami back with the Dragonballs!" Krillin shouted to him. "Do you really believe this will work?" I asked bowed down to him. "No, but otherwise Goku want give everything", he whispered back. Curious I followed the fight further. Suddenly Piccolo grew to a giant what was a big mistake so Goku could jump into his mouth and got the rice cooker out. Without many word he threw me the rice cooker and I freed Kami from it. Meanwhile both fighters were exhausted and had trouble standing on their feet. Then Piccolo got into the air Goku on the other side could barely move. I was so fascinated by the scene that I didn't got how Piccolo was gathering energy for his next attack until Krillin seized me und pulled me into a crater with to others. It was just on time then shortly after I heard a crack. As I looked out of the crater the Fightingring had disappeared und Piccolo was floating cackling above it. "Goku!" I cried it couldn't be that he was dead. "Hei Piccolo here!" somebody shouted and relieved I saw that it was Goku who shot a Kamehameha at Piccolo who at the same time fired an energyball at him. The Kamehameha hit Piccolo and threw him to the ground while the energyball hit Gokus chest and he landed pretty ungentle on the ground. "Oh looks like nobody won", the host said beside me. "Look closer ", Goku said weakly. On the second glance the host saw that Piccolo had indeed landed outside the former ring and announced Goku as winner. He only smiled stupidly and closed his eyes. "Goku!" I cried again and wanted to go to him when Yamcha grabbed my wrist. "You can't help him anymore", he said solemn. "But he can't die. That idiot I couldn't even tell him that I have fallen in love with him", I cried hysterical. "I know", Yamcha said and pulled me into his arms. Out of the corner of my eyes I could see how Yajirobe went to Goku and pushed something into his mouth whereon he stood up as if nothing had happened. I freed myself from Yamchas hug, I had completely forgotten the senzu beans. Goku asked Yajirobe to give him another bean but instead of eating it himself he gave it to Piccolo. "Are you mad?" Krillin asked as the head demon flew away. "What without a good opponent it would be boring", Goku said grinning. Kami thanked Goku and offered him to take over his place but Goku declined. "Besides I have something else to do here", he said and came to me. I had watched all of this wordlessly and turned my gaze on my feet and hoped imploring that Goku hadn't heard my outburst. "Tori", he said softly when he stood in front of me. I swallowed and looked up at him his eyes were gleaming. "So you have fallen in love with me", he said and smiled softly. "Well yeah", I said and rubbed my arm nervously. It was not worth trying to hiding it. Without an other word Goku laid his hand under my chin and pulled me forward him while he bend down shortly afterwards his lips lay on mine. Instinctively I laid my arms in his neck while he wrapped his around my waist and we pulled each other closer. "Well that took long enough", I heard Bulma laughing when we broke apart. Goku rolled his eyes and called his nimbus cloud. Happy he jumped on it and pulled my up behind him on the cloud so we flew away together.
