Four years had passed since Gohan had been born so he had turned four shortly. He developed nicely and was pretty strong for his age what wasn't a surprised if you looked who his parents were. With a sigh I looked up at the clock it was almost noon. Where were my two men? Goku had gone fishing with Gohan in the early morning the little one had even been asleep when they had gone. My husband had promised me, that they would be back by noon no matter if they caught something or not. "Mama!" I heard shooting behind me and I turned around just in time to catch Gohan who came running forward me. "And how was fishing with Papa?" I asked my son after I hugged him. Gohan immediately started to jump up and down. "It was great. We caught a huge fish, it was this big", he said and stretched his little arms so far apart as he could. "So big?" I asked surprised. "Yeah Papa nearly couldn't get it out of the water." "Oh yeah is this so?" Skeptical I looked up at Goku, who stood in the doorframe and war really caring a huge fish over his shoulder. He just shrugged and grinned crookedly at me. Gohan pulled at my sleeve and I turned my attention back to him. "Mama can I go play?" he asked me with big eyes. "Of course sweetie", I said smiling. Gohan cheered and ran in the Livingroom. Still smiling I straightened up and stretched my back. Goku had entered the kitchen in the meantime and had lain the fish on the kitchen table. Now he stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me, he laid his head on my shoulder. "Everything alright with you?" he asked in a whisper. "Yeah everything's fine", I said and stroked his arms. "Did it", but bevor Goku could finish his question I shook my head. Goku turned me around in his arms and took my face in his hands. "Hey it's going the be fine. I mean Gohan wasn't planned either", he tried to encourage me and kissed me softly. I sighed when we broke apart and went to the door that led into the Livingroom and watched Gohan play. "I know, I just don't want him to be alone", I sad sadly. "Hey you put to much pressure on yourself you should relax a bit." Goku was probably right, for two years I tried to get pregnant again but it just wouldn't work. I saw it as my duty to have at least one more child to ensure the persistence of my kind after all Goku and me where probably the last of our kin. "I've got an idea this afternoon I take Gohan to turtle island and you have a relaxing afternoon", Goku suggested. With a heavy heart I agreed I could really use an afternoon off. Shortly bevor two Goku called for his super sonic cloud. "Be good and listen to your Papa yeah?" I said to Gohan and hugged him goodbye. He nodded and jumped on the cloud. "Please be careful", I turned to Goku. "Always", he said with a crooked smile and kissed me bevor he sat on the super sonic cloud and flew away with our son. Worried I looked after my two boys somehow I had a bad feeling about this.
At the late afternoon I stood again in the kitchen and dried the dishes, the whole afternoon I had tried to relax but it hadn't worked that strange feeling wouldn't let go of me. Suddenly I felt a step in my chest and it felt like I was falling. Numbly I realized that the plate was slipping from my hand and crashed on the floor. I grabbed the sink and tried to even out my breath which only came intermittent. Somehow I managed to drag myself into the living room and to sit there on the couch. Desperately I buried my face in my hands, this emptiness that I felt inside of my could only mean that something bad had happened to Goku. I didn't know how long I was sitting there like this I was dragged from my numbness when the doorbell rang. Still numb I opened the door. "Krillin", I said and my voice sounded far away. "Hei Vic can I come inside?" he asked and I stepped aside to let him in. "Are you here to tell me that Goku is dead?" I asked and closed the door. As struck be lighting Krillin turned around to me and starred at me perplex. "How do you know that?" Krillin wanted to know, but I only shook my head and said: "That's not important now." I told Krillin to follow me into the living room. "Can you tell me how he died?" I had to know that, so I could avenge my mate. "Well Goku came to turtle island with your son and than suddenly a guy named Radditz appeared and claimed to be Gokus brother." What Krillin said than I couldn't hear because a million thoughts ran threw my head at the mention of Radditz Name. If he was still alive that could mean that my brother was alive as well and if he showed up here we would be in big trouble. "He scarified himself to save the world. Hei Vic are you even listening to me?" Krillin pulled me from my thoughts. I blinked several times. "Yeah sorry. Say Krillin was this Radditz dead right away or was he able to say something?" Krillin looked at me confused apparently this talk wasn't going as he had expected. "Yeah he said something and that was there was no point in killing him and that in one year even stronger saiyans would come." That was impossible that couldn't be true. "How many?" I asked harsh. "Ah two. Vic what's wrong?" Krillin asked when I stood up. "If it's really true what Radditz is saying it's better when you start training Krillin. The saiyans won't be easy opponents." "I see but from where do you know that Vic?" it seemed that I had completely thrown Krillin from his track. "That's not important", I said with a firm voice and went to the door Krillin following me. Suddenly something came to my mind. "Krillin where is Gohan?" I could have slapped myself why did I only thought now about my son he was everything I had now. Krillin starred at me, he seemed to think the same thing. "He's with Piccolo he wants to train him", he said dryly. "And where exactly are the two?" I asked in panic. Krillin shrugged. "From where should I know that." I let go an annoyed sound, stormed out the door and flew into the night. I didn't care what Krillin thought of me. When I calmed down a little I was able to use me connection to Gohan to find him. As fast as I could I flew in the direction of the dessert. In the dim light of the full moon I could see a figure floating in front of me. When I got closer I recognized Piccolo. Beside him I stopped in the air and looked down. On a rock lay Gohan and slept. "How is he doing?" I asked and looked at Piccolo who didn't seemed surprised over my appearance. He looked at me and then back to Gohan and said: "Not bad, but he cried a lot and called for you." A dry laugh escaped me. "He's four what do you expect?" I couldn't see it but I could feel that Piccolo rolled his eyes. "He chanced in to a gorilla bevor but he couldn't control himself like Goku", he continued. "Like I said Piccolo he's four." Piccolo huffed. "He's very talented he just need some training." I sighed because I knew he was right and I also knew that I couldn't do it. "Are you here to get him back and train yourself?" Piccolo asked me but I shook my head. Piccolo seemed confused. Slowly I floated to my boy and landed carefully not to wake him beside him. I kissed Gohan on the forehead und whispered: "Be strong my son your father and me are with you. Listen to Piccolo than you will become a great warrior." Gohan kept on sleeping and didn't seem to notice my presence, slowly I rose again in the air and floated in front of Piccolo. "Listen Piccolo I leave Gohan in your care if something happens to him you will pay for it." Piccolo looked down at me, sighed annoyed and finally gave me his word to look after Gohan. Once more a looked at the sleeping figure of my son, took a deep breath and flew away. Energetic I whipped the tears from my face now was not the time to mourn. It was time to train and that as much as possible to stop the saiyans.
