AN: UNDERGOING EDITING. NOW BEING CHANGED TO PRESENT TENSE. Trust me, it's better.
Trigger warning for past mentions of suicide baiting and an OC considering\and\or attempting suicide.

It's a bright late summer day—almost autumn. School starts soon, which is why class 1A decides to go shopping together for school supplies, then to enjoy the summer weather by having a picnic in a park.
Though there are a few parks in the school neighborhood, Uraraka insists on going to a park on the other side of town. No one thinks much of it. Her excited description of the park is pleasant, and everyone is having a good time.
Iida and Momo are reviewing whether they have everything on their school supply lists. Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari are discussing what qualities make a "real man." Uraraka is describing her new hero uniform designs with Mina.
The only two who are not talking are Izuku and Katsuki. Both are in their own little worlds. Being surrounded by real friends who genuinely care is still a novelty, and they both (Katsuki would deny it) are still basking in the sheer positivity surrounding them.
They're so distracted that they don't realize until they arrive that it's the park near their old middle school. The park they played in as small children, and the park where Katsuki and his cronies made Izuku's life a living hell.
They both freeze. Kirishima, in the middle of telling Kaminari that "a man always considers the beauty of a woman's heart as well," bumps into Katsuki.
"Wow, bro. You good?" He asks, more surprised than anything.
"Fine." Katsuki grunts.
He and Izuku's eyes meet. Uraraka oblviously chats away to the green-haired boy about how it made her "stop in her tracks too and isn't it beautiful?!"
There is nothing beautiful about this park. Katsuki wants to burn it to the ground. He knows Izuku avoids it too.
"Y-yeah! The-the leaves are so co-colorful!" Izuku smiles pleasantly, but Katsuki sees right through it. He has that "deer in headlights" look. The way his shoulders tense, and he seems to instinctively hold his notebook to his chest protectively. It's so obvious to Katsuki, but no one else notices, too busy happily taking in the scenery.
They decide to sit under some tall, thick trees. The top of the school building barely peeks out above the treeline. Good. If they don't look up, they won't have to see it.
For a moment, Katsuki and Izuku forget and pretend the picnic blankets they sit on aren't separating them from the park that tortures Izuku and reminds Katsuki of his days as a feelingless bully. Everyone eats, laughs, and talks excitedly about the new school year.
This is fine. They're ok. They just have to not look up.
Uraraka has no such qualms and is animatedly looking around as she speaks with her friends, and she sees it.
A person. Standing on the edge of the building roof, just visible through the trees.
"Guys!" She breaths.
At her urgent, quiet tone, silence descends upon the group.
"What is it, Uraraka?" Izuku whispers back, forgetting his inner turmoil and going into hero mode.
"There's someone on the roof." She says.
Before everyone else can process what that means, Katsuki and Izuku are already taking off.
Izuku, ever the strategist, immediately starts giving out orders.
"Sero, you need to come with me to the roof because if we can't talk her down, you'll need to catch her." Sero nods and Izuku continues, "Uraraka, if she lets us get close enough, don't tell her about your quirk, and be ready to use it. Dark Shadow, stay on the ground and be ready to catch her if she falls. Everyone else," his speech slows and takes on a heavy tone, "come to the roof if you think you're suited to talk someone out of committing suicide."
Please Review. I had to post this without much editing. I'll fix that later. (Update: Fixing it.)
Love ya!
