Author Note: I am shocked that I managed to squeeze two, 22 minute episodes into roughly 2,000 words.

"His parents weren't lying. This kid's not human" said Batman.
On the screen was a real-world scan of Hex.
"His heart is broken in two," said Wonderwoman. "How is he alive?"
Suddenly they all heard.
"Helloooo," said Hex in the machine. "I didn't come here for you to ogle me. I came for a super suit. Where is my super suit?!"
They were all silent.
He would have to the mischievous boy Hex again.
He said. "Fine, if your all going to ignore me. I'm going to show you what happens when spit meets speed meets a million-dollar machine."
Everybody face's changed.
He said. "Ready?"
Batman promptly slides him back out.
"Let me, fit you with a suit," said Black Canary, walking her fine self up to him.
"Well, hello. Sweet thing" said Hex, he didn't have to fake this.
And all the adult's eyebrow rose so high, especially Black Canary.
Wasn't he, 7?
Puberty had apparently come for him already.
The women tried to ignore it, as she took him to get a suit fitted.
"In the meantime. We'll have him and his families identities protected" said Batman. "I'll do my best to hide their status as aliens from the world. The world isn't ready to know about mutants in their everyday lives, let alone Aliens. Being a Superhero is the only openness that is available right now"
Suddenly they felt an updraft and when it died down, they saw Hex in a yellow and red super suit.
"Presenting. Kid Flash!" Said Hex. "Sidekick of the Flash! Now, let go out and fight crime! There is evil afoot!"
"Actually, I'm going home," said The Flash, making the kid trip over, himself.
"Oh, come on!" Said Hex. "Aren't superheroes, somebody to scout out crime at all hours of the day? You knew, brooding against a dark sunset as you stared down at a city, all serious like"
The word 'Batman' suddenly came to everybody but Batman's mind but nobody said anything.
"Kid, you've read too many comic books," said Batman. "We have a state of the art advanced system that alerts us to whenever crime is taking place"
"Really? That's so boring," said Hex, before he spun around and used his super-speed to change out of the suit and said. "Well, I'm going home. You guys suck"
Everybody looked at each other before teleported him away.
"Maybe, he should meet Robin?" Said Aquaman.
"I'll make sure those two never meet," said Batman.
Hex soon found himself enrolled into a local elementary school.
He was starting all over again, with a new name, new town and new school.
"Hi, my name is Hex," he said. "Hex Goldberg. I recently moved here from out of town. I hope to get along with everybody here"
He was like he was a different kid.
He knew how to not look suspicious, he didn't use his Speed anything, he was average at running, he gave vague not so special answers about where he was from.
You would have never believed he had superpowers, or that he was from another planet.
He looked like just a normal kid, and that's what was so scary about him.
You don't know the face of mischief behind the innocent green eyes.
Flash took him out on an easy mission because he knew, the chances of him going pranking soon was high.
And without Batman's knowledge, The Flash introduced Hex to Robin.
The moment Hex heard he was under batman, he encouraged the boy to prank the guy and they can do it together.
And it would be a lie if The Flash wasn't interested in seeing two kids trying to prank Batman.
Even the most depressed person in the world would crack a smile at the thought of pranking Batman.
In planning mischief, the young boys grew close behind closed doors.
The look on Batman's face as they played a nursery rhymes over a secured communication line, was memorable.
The whole League heard it and their faces ranged from amused to 'is this really happening?'
Batman was not amused by what the two boys pulled.
And how did he knew it was them?
They were the ones singing the nursery rhyme over communications.
It was totally worth it though.
However, it didn't stop their mischievous ways together.
Batman couldn't deny that Dick enjoyed childhood when he was with Hex but he made sure, that he watched them like a Hawk if both boys were ever in the same room together.
Over time, they met Speedy, the sidekick or Green Arrow and Aqualad, the sidekick of Aquaman.
Hex didn't say anything about being an alien but he wouldn't be surprised if Dick went snooping.
If the guy knew it, he didn't treat him any differently.
And besides, it was very easy to forget that he was an alien, he didn't have any none human qualities, his ability can easily be mistaken for being a mutant.
He was always surprised, every time his parents talked about their home planet, he was just so used to life on Earth that anything outside it, felt weird to him.
And then came the day, when the Sidekicks become actual superheroes, by now Hex had mellowed out completely and stopped being so destructive which that his parents were looking years younger than their age.
Out of all of them though, Speed was looking forward to becoming his own superhero the most, to an almost obsessive nature.
"Robin. Speedy. Aqualad" began Martian manhunter. "And Kid Flash. Welcome"
They entered the elevator and it took them down to a secret room, they were told to sit down in some chairs and Hex belly-flopped into his.
He noticed Speedy didn't look happy even though they were becoming real heroes.
What's up?
He soon found out what was up.
"That's it!?" Yelled Speedy walking towards Batman and the group. "You promised us a real look inside. Not a glorified backstage pass"
"It's a first step," said Aquaman. "You've been granted special access"
"Oh, really?" Said Speedy pointing to the tourists who were taking pictures through the glass above them. "Who cares what side of the glass we're on!?"
Well, the guy was not wrong.
What kind of HQ allows tourists to snap pictures of the inside?
"Rory. You just need to be patient" said Green Arrow.
"What I need," said Speedy. "Is respect"
He turned around and said. "They're treating us like kids. Like sidekicks. We deserve better than this"
But Hex didn't have this crazy obsession with becoming a superhero that Speedy did and it seems like his thoughts were echoed by Robin and Aqualad.
Speedy was shocked at their reaction.
"You're playing their game?" Said Speedy. "Today was supposed to be THE day. Step one of becoming full-fledged members of the league."
"I thought, step one was getting introduced," he said.
"Introduced?" Said Speedy, before dropping a bombshell on them by saying. "This isn't even their real HQ. Their HQ is a satellite in space called the Watchtower. You get there by Zada Beams. This place is just something for the tourists and a pit stop to get to the real thing"
What?
Suddenly all the leaguers turned to Green Arrow.
Who else could have told Speedy about their Real HQ but Green Arrow?
"What? I thought we could make an exception." Said Green Arrow but then he saw Batman face and said. "Or not"
"Stand down, son," said Aquaman.
"Or what?" Said Speedy, getting in the leaguers faces. "You're going to send me to my room? I'm, not even your son." The sidekick then turned to Green Arrow and said. "I thought I was his partner. But I'm not even that. I'm done!"
The guy then threw his hat onto the ground, everybody eyes widen in shock.
Speedy turned around and walked out on all of them.
He was coming back, right?
And not even a second later there was a call from Superman about a place called 'Cadmus' that seemed shady and was currently on fire.
However, when the sidekicks tried to interject, they were told the same phrases as they heard before. 'Your not ready', 'You need to train more', 'your time will come'.
After finding out that the day they had been looking forward to for years, was actually one big lie told by their mentor's thanks to Speedy, how could they sit still and take it?
So they went against the league and went to investigate Cadmus while the League handled a more urgent problem.
However, the discovery of an elevator that shouldn't be in the building, uncovered a lab making a new species that shouldn't exist.
It was all a fight from there as they tried to get to Project Kr, the only place, Robin couldn't get into however when they entered the place, Hex realised why the project was called this and put some light on it.
All three of them saw a person who looked like Superman but younger.
Project Kr was actually a project about turning Superman's son into a weapon to finish off Superman.
Nobody deserves to be created just to kill somebody, so they released him.
A huge mistake.
Hex was tossed like a rag doll through the container before he even knew what was happening.
He was woken up by a voice in his head, only to find himself cuffed into a tube with Robin and Aqualad beside him but to his surprise, the guy who beat the hell out of them could talk and they could hold a conversation with.
They were about to get somewhere with the clone when the boss of the place walked in and ordered the clone to leave and began trying to clone them through painful needles inserted into their skin.
The guy went a step further and used electricity as he sucked out DNA from them.
But just when they knew there was no hope, the clone came back.
Superboy swatted all the scientists like flies and broke them out of their tubes, Robin destroyed the beakers containing their blood and DNA as they ran for it.
Using the map poach through Robin, they forced there way through the place and found out that the Superboy couldn't fly but he had super jump instead.
However, they were eventually surrounded.
Hex felt a sharp pain attack his mind and he brought to his knees by a mental attack.
When it stopped, the germophobes were now on their side and they saw that the evil boss of the place was now downing a blue liquid.
Hex head no idea that if he was killed here, the world would burn.
They watched the evil man transformed into a big bulk monster who ripped off his skin like he was wearing a t-shirt, they tried to fight him but they got was the guy shoving Superboy through the ceiling.
The three of them used Robin to get up above fast, they tried to help Superboy in the fight only to each get their butts handed to them, even when they were working together.
Eventually, Robin got an Idea and called him over.
He saw it and became the decoy needed to handle the monster by taking the guys nose quietly literally, he hid his disgust but it worked withdrawing the monster's attention.
One collum was smashed in trying to catch him.
By now Superboy and Aqualad had been told the plan and they both agreed to help.
Aqualad used sprayed water on a certain spot and Hex ran through it as the monster chased him only to slid to a stop.
It was then that Superboy came to knock the monster onto his back and did so.
Aqualad channel electricity into the water, causing the guy to scream and then Robin knocked the last two columns out.
The ceiling came crashing down, Aqualad tried to protect them all through a shield.
The guy protected them enough to not be killed when it was all over.
The four of them saw the moon and unconscious under rumble was the monster.
Hex and Robin pounded it only to immediately regret it because it turns out they both had broken arms which made the action that much worse, for them both.
However, they managed to show Superboy the moon like they promised, and to their surprise seconds later Superman appeared, flying towards them along with the leaguers.
When Superboy introduced himself, it sent ripples through everybody and nobody had ever seen such surprise on Superman's face.
After all, how do you spring a son on a man?
Superman was called away and both Superboy and the man kept glancing at each other at awkward times, while the monster was carried away.
They apparently finished talking and Batman started to chew them out.
But all four of them were done.
They had completed a mission that the league said they weren't ready for.
This proved that were all prepared to go solo like Speedy, and they would do it even if the Justice League wasn't going to support them.
Even Aqualad stood up to his king and mentor, so you knew this was serious.
You could tell Batman didn't like it but you could also tell that he realised that they were dead serious.
The man had no choice but to give them the actual first step and they would all walk.
Hex felt like he was in a dream when he was moved to Mount Fuji, where there was an old secret base waiting for them.
Red Tornado and Black Carnary had volunteered to live with them.
And then they were introduced to the newest member of the team.
Martian manhunters niece or what he immediately called her.
His new crush.
Thin figure, gorgeous face, short skirt.
Who knew that somebody so blad could be related to somebody so fine?
Even Superboy liked her but that was after she changed her shirt to resembled his own.
Now if only Speedy was here.
