I enjoyed writing this one. Time for something that's light on the story but heavy on the action. Ever wondered what two particular Hazbin Hotel characters having a sword fight would be like? Here's your answer.

Disclaimer: I own nothing that has to do with Pirates of the Caribbean or Vivziepop.

Chapter 3: Alastor vs. Vaggie

(Alastor enters the blacksmith forge. He removes his hat and placed it on a hook. He starts to search the place for something to break his shackles. A bottle hits the ground and Alastor jumps a little. He sees an old man demon in blacksmith clothes sitting in the corner drunk and passed out. He quietly approaches him and pokes him. The old man doesn't moves and keeps snoring. Alastor turns away and then suddenly turns back and shouts. The old timer still doesn't wake.)

(Alastor decides he doesn't have to worry about him. He looks around the tools and gets a hammer. He sets his shackled hands on an anvil and tries to break the chain with the hammer but it doesn't work. He then notices the mechanism of a mill in the room operated by a donkey attached to a harness. He pulls a tool from a lit fireplace. The end is red hot and he looks at the donkey with a sly look. The donkey jumps and starts moving as the hot tool contacts it. The gears of the mill start turning as a result. Alastor gets the chain of his shackles between two gears and it snaps.)

(With his hands free, he prepares to leave but the front door opens. He quickly hides as Vaggie enters. She immediately notices the mill functioning. She stops the donkey from moving and the place gets quiet. She sees her master sleeping in the corner.)

Vaggie: (smiles) Right where I left you

(She puts her coat away and finds a hammer sitting on the anvil.)

Vaggie: (suspicious) Not where I left you.

(Then she sees a hat on a hook. She reaches for and the flat end of a blade slaps her hand. She steps back and sees Alastor holding his sword at her with an usual devious smile on his face. She slowly backs up towards the door and glares at him.)

Vaggie: You're the one they're hunting. The pirate.

(He studies her face carefully.)

Alastor: You seem somewhat familiar. Have I threatened you before?

Vaggie: I make a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates.

Alastor: Ah. Well, then it would be a shame to put a black mark on your record. So if you'll excuse me...

(He steps away from her to get to the door. Vaggie suddenly pulls a sword out of a rack mounted on a grindstone and holds it up at him. Alastor focuses on her again.)

Alastor: (sternly) Do you think this wise, my dear? Crossing blades with a pirate?

(Vaggie makes a fighting stance and glares at him harder.)

Vaggie: You threatened Miss Magne.

(Alastor makes a stance as well and runs his blade along hers.)

Alastor: (smirks) Only a little.

(They exchange looks for a moment and he attacks first. She blocks it with ease. She makes a similar move and he defends himself flawlessly too.)

Alastor: You know what you're doing, I'll give you that. Excellent form. But how's your footwork? If I step here...

(He takes a step around her. She steps the other way and maintains her position. They trade some more blows.)

Alastor: Very good. And now I step again.

(The continue turning and fighting some more until they're opposite of their initial places with the door now behind Alastor.)

Alastor: (playfully) Ta!

(He quickly puts his sword away and heads for the door. Before he can open it, Vaggie throws her sword with accuracy and sticks into the door's latch right next to Alastor. He's stunned by this and tugs on it. It's wedged in there tight and prevents him from opening the door. He turns back to Vaggie slightly angry but still smiling.)

Alastor: That is a wonderful trick. Except, once again, you are between me and my way out. And now... (draws his sword) you have no weapon.

(Vaggie then grabs another sword from the furnace. This one has a glowing red hot tip. The donkey is startled by it and starts moving again. Alastor leaps over to the mechanism. Vaggie keeps her eyes on him and does the same. They duel fiercely around the machinery. Vaggie proves to be just as skilled as Alastor. The ring of their swords making contact echoes throughout the forge. Sparks fly off Vaggie's hot sword as she strikes her opponent's. They lock swords for a moment before Alastor hits her sword handle with the broken chain on his wrist and disarms her. Vaggie somersaults to other side of the machinery and gets another sword. Alastor then realizes there are dozens of swords stocked all around them.)

Alastor: (bemused) Who makes all these?

Vaggie: (proudly) I do!

(She continues fighting as she talks.)

Vaggie: And I practice with them three hours a day!

(Alastor starts grabbing tools and throwing them at her. She manages to dodge every one and keeps standing her ground.)

Alastor: (amused) You need to find yourself a man, darling!

Vaggie: I'm actually more into girls.

Alastor: My mistake. You need to find yourself a girl, then!

(Vaggie gets a second sword and fights Alastor with both of them. They lock weapons again and face one another.)

Alastor: (teasingly) Or, perhaps the reason you practice three hours a day is that you already found one and are otherwise incapable of wooing said strumpet. You're not like a eunuch, are you?

Vaggie: (aggressively) I practice three hours a day so that when I meet a pirate... I can fucking kill it!

(Vaggie drives Alastor back onto a movable ramp with a wheels in the center. She gets on with him and the ramp rolls out. The combatants balance the ramp and continue to clash. They prove to be evenly matched in sword fighting. Then Vaggie gets a hold of the chain on one of his wrists and gets it stuck on the handle of one of her swords. She stabs it up into a rafter above and gets Alastor's arm suspended upward. Alastor keeps swinging his sword in his free arm and Vaggie dodges. She feels she's gained the upper hand until Alastor slams down on a wooden board and it shoots up hitting Vaggie and knocks her off the ramp.)

(Alastor jumps up and wraps his legs around the rafter to try to pull the sword out. Vaggie gets back on the cart just as he pulls the sword loose. He falls onto his end of the cart and launches Vaggie into the air from her end. She lands on the rafter above. Alastor gets up and looks for her. He sees her above just as she cuts a rope holding up a net with barrels. It falls on her end of the cart which launches Alastor up from his end. He gets onto the rafter and they proceed to fight some more while keeping their balance. Vaggie manages to knock Alastor's sword from his hand. Now defenseless, he jumps off of the rafter and Vaggie follows.)

(Alastor stands near the furnace. Vaggie comes at him but he grabs a fireplace bellows and blows a bunch of dust in her face. She's caught off guard and he kicks the sword from her hand. She shakes off the dust and grabs a hammer. She's ready to fight some more and looks up only to see Alastor right in front of her aiming his pistol right at her face.)

Vaggie: (infuriated) You shit lord! You cheated.

Alastor: (smirks) Pirate.

(He steps towards the back door of the place. She steps in front of him blocking his way again. They hear banging and shouting outside the front door.)

Alastor: Move away.

Vaggie: No.

Alastor: (desperately) Please move!

Vaggie: (determined) No! I can't just step aside and let you escape.

(Alastor keeps his gun on her. Vaggie stands her ground ready to make sure he gets captured even if he shoots her. After a moment of tension, Alastor says something that greatly confuses Vaggie.)

Alastor: This shot is not meant for you.

(Before she can say anything, the sound of a glass breaking is heard and Alastor drops to the floor. The blacksmith master is standing right behind him awake and holding a now broken bottle. The front door breaks open and soldiers swarm in and find Alastor knocked out.)

Soldier: There he is!

(Seviathan comes in and sees Alastor as his men surround him. He turn to the master.)

Seviathan: Excellent work, Mr. Brown. You've assisted in the capture of a dangerous fugitive.

Brown: Just doing my civic duty, sir.

(Vaggie becomes troubled that they don't acknowledge her for taking on Alastor all by herself until now. Seviathan looks down at his unconscious prisoner.)

Seviathan: (grins) Well, I trust you will always remember this as the day that Captain Alastor Sparrow almost escaped. Take him away.

(Vaggie watches them haul Alastor out of the building. Despite the pirate being caught just like how she was determined to make sure he was, she's left feeling unsatisfied with the whole experience.)
