I must say I'm writing this pretty fast. Probably because I work faster with movie recasts than video game recasts. And I haven't done a move recast since my Loud House/Star Wars one. And now the real villains enter the picture.

Disclaimer: I own nothing that has to do with Pirates of the Caribbean or Vivziepop.

Chapter 4: The Black Pearl

(Later that night, inside the prison area of the naval fort, a small group of prisoners in one cell try to coax a dog holding the cell keys in his mouth.)

Prisoner 1: Come here, boy. Come here.

Prisoner 2: Want a nice, juicy bone?

Prisoner 3: C'mon boy.

(The dog stays where he is. In the cell next to them, Alastor sits alone against the wall with his hat over his eyes.)

Alastor: (unamused) You can keep doing that forever, the dog is never going to move.

Prisoner: (insulted) Oh, excuse us if we haven't resigned ourselves to the gallows just yet!

(They continue to try to lure the dog to them. Alastor just smiles and shakes his head.)

(In the governor's mansion, Charlie gets ready for bed. Her trusty maid tends to her.)

Maid: There you go, Miss. It was a difficult day for you, I'm sure.

Charlie: (annoyed) I suspected Commodore von Eldritch would propose, but I must admit, I wasn't entirely prepared for it.

Maid: Well, I meant your being threatened by that pirate. Sounds terrifying.

Charlie: Oh. Yes. It was terrifying.

Maid: But the Commodore proposed! Fancy that! That's a smart match, miss, if it's not too bold to say.

Charlie: (somberly) It is a smart match. He's a fine man. He's what any woman should dream of marrying.

Maid: Well, that Vaggie Turner, she's a fine woman.

Charlie: (sharply) That is too bold.

Maid: Begging your pardon, miss. It was not my place.

(She leaves the bedroom. Charlie sits in bed toying with the medallion around her neck wondering why Alastor was surprised by it before. The flame on a lamp next to her flickers and goes out. She looks at it curiously. In the blacksmith forge, Vaggie crafts a new weapon. She hammers down on a blade and stops. She looks out a window and sees a quiet empty street.)

(Out in the bay, an ominous galleon appears out of the darkness and approaches the town with its cannons out. On the wall of the fort, Lucifer walks with Seviathan.)

Lucifer: Has my daughter given you an answer yet?

Seviathan: No. She hasn't.

Lucifer: Well, she has had a very trying day... Ghastly weather, don't you think?

Seviathan: Bleak. Very bleak.

(They hear a faint booming sound in the distance.)

Lucifer: (suspicious) What's that?

(Then they hear the whistling sound of something heading towards them.)

Seviathan: Cannon fire!

(He tackles the governor to the ground as a barricade behind them is hit by a cannonball.)

Seviathan: Return fire!

(In the prison, Alastor hears the sound of cannons firing and perks up.)

Alastor: I know those guns!

(He peers out the barred window in his cell and sees a ship with black sails down in the bay firing upon the fort and town.)

Alastor: (stunned) It's the Pearl...

Prisoner: (intrigued) The Black Pearl? I've heard stories... she's been preying on ships and settlements for near ten years... never leaves any survivors.

Alastor: (curious) No survivors? Then where do the stories come from, I wonder?

(The Black Pearl hammers Port Royal with cannon fire. Citizens and soldiers alike run around either trying to run from the assault or fight against it. After doing some damage the streets and buildings near the bay, the ship sends out rowboats of its crew to the shore. Demon pirates armed with guns, weapons and torches swarm the town and begin raiding and destroying. Two particular pirates exit a boat. One is a male with red skin, white hair, curvy black and white striped horns, yellow eyes, white freckles and a thin red tail. The other is a female with red skin, messy dark hair, black horns, yellow eyes and a thin red tail. She's also missing her right eye and inserts a cheap wooden eyeball in its place. The two proceed to cause mayhem with the other pirates.)

(Vaggie arms herself with a sword and a small axe and charges out of the forge ready to join the fight. A crazed pirate with a bandolier of hand grenades tosses them through windows and blows up buildings. Vaggie throws her axe and hits him in the back. He drops down. She recovers the axe and heads down the street to fight off more of them. The fort is bombarded with cannonballs as soldiers fire their own cannons from their battlements. Seviathan shouts orders to them.)

Seviathan: Site the muzzle flash! I need a full strike, fore and aft. More cartridges!

(Lucifer stands around very anxious.)

Seviathan: (sternly) Governor! Barricade yourself in my office!

(Lucifer hesitates as a battlement is hit near them.)

Seviathan: That's an order!

(At the mansion, Charlie stands on a balcony and looks out in horror at the town being attacked. Several buildings are on fire. Then she sees another horrifying sight. A small group of pirates break through the gate of the property and run up to the mansion. Charlie bolts from her room and gets halfway down the stairs when there's a knock at the front door. She sees a butler about to answer it.)

Charlie: Don't!

(He opens it and sees the two pirates with red skin, horns and tails smiling devilishly.)

Moxxie: Hello, chum.

(Moxxie shoots him and Charlie screams. The pirates swarm the bottom floor. Millie spots Charlie running up the stairs.)

Millie: Up there!

(They run up as Charlie hides in a room and locks the door. The maid appears behind her.)

Maid: (urgently) Miss Magne! They've come to kidnap you!

Charlie: What?

Maid: You're the governor's daughter.

(Charlie realizes she would be an ideal target for them. There's a pounding at the door.)

Moxxie: In here!

Charlie: Listen! They haven't seen you. Go hide, and first chance you get, run to the fort.

(The maid nods and hides on the side of the room. Moxxie and Millie burst through the door and see Charlie run out a side door. They don't see the maid and she runs out. Moxxie runs to the side door and Charlie smacks him in the face with a hot pan. He stumbles back dazed. Charlie tries to hit Millie but she grabs the pan.)

Millie: Gotcha!

(Charlie pulls the release of the pan and lid opens spilling small hot coals on Millie.)

Millie: (frantically) No! No! It's hot!

(Charlie runs out the hallway door and down the stairs as Moxxie gets back up.)

Moxxie: Come on!

(He chases Charlie down the stairs while Millie swings over the handrail. She lands in front of Charlie and growls. Charlie seems trapped between them. Another pirates comes out of a room carrying valuables. A cannonball suddenly breaks through a window and slams into himself sending him flying back into the room. The blast causes a chandelier above to fall. Charlie takes her chance and takes off as the chandelier lands between her and her pursuers. She runs into a dining room and uses a candelabra to jam the door.)

(Moxxie and Millie try to break it down. Charlie sees a pair of crossed swords mounted above the fireplace and tries to pull one out so she can use it to defend herself, but the whole decoration comes off with the swords still stuck together. The door starts to break loose and she looks around desperately. Then the door bursts open and Moxxie and Millie enter but don't see Charlie. They carefully look around.)

Moxxie: (menacingly) We know you're here, poppet.

Millie: (giggles) Poppet...

Moxxie: Come out and we promise we won't hurt you.

(Charlie hides in the closet nervously and looks out at them through the crack between the doors.)

Moxxie: We will find you, poppet... You've got something of ours, and it calls to us... The gold calls to us...

Millie: The gold...

(They see a corner of the rug flipped over in front of the closet and know she's in there. She hears them talk and realizes they want her medallion. She takes it out from around her neck and looks at it. The light coming through the crack disappears and she sees Moxxie looking in at her.)

Moxxie: (grins) Hello, poppet.

(They open the door and about to grab when Charlie speaks.)

Charlie: Parley!

Moxxie: (confused) What?

Charlie: (firmly) Parley! I invoke the right of parley! According to the Code of the Brethren, you have to take me to your captain!

Moxxie: (annoyed) I know the code.

Charlie: If an adversary demands parley, you can do them no harm until the parley is complete.

Millie: (annoyed) To blazes with the code!

Moxxie: She wants to be taken to the captain, and she'll go without a fuss. (humbly) We must honor the code.

(Out on the streets, Vaggie engages in combat with a pirate swordsman. He grabs her by the throat and is about to finish her off.)

Pirate: (evilly) Say goodbye.

(A cannonball hits a hanging sign above them. As he's distracted by it, Vaggie breaks free and steps aside. The sign swings down and smashes the pirate through a window.)

Vaggie: Goodbye.

(She turns a corner and sees Moxxie and Millie escorting Charlie among other pirates towards the shore. Charlie turns and see Vaggie down the street before turning a corner.)

Vaggie: (worried) Charlie!

(She's about to run after them when another pirate stands in front of her. It's the same one with the grandes from before. Vaggie stares at her in disbelief as she thought she already killed him.)

Pirate: Hello!

(They looks down and see a live grenade between them. She steps back as the lit fuse runs out but it doesn't go off. The bomb is a dud. The pirate looks disappointed. Before Vaggie can do anything else, some more pirates come up behind her carrying valuables.)

Pirate: Outta our way, scum!

(One of them hits her in the head with a metal vase and she falls down unconscious.)

So there's Moxxie and Millie playing the bumbling idiot pair of Pintel and Ragetti. In this story, they're more like best friends rather than a married couple.
