Chapter 13 :-
ACP faltered a bit back in shock seeing the person while Abhijeet hastily held him...
Abhijeet in concern : Dad kya hua aap ko...
ACP was totally out of surroundings and was looking at that man with scandalous expressions...
The CID team was arranging an ambulance to take him to the nearby hospital...
Abhijeet shuddered him a bit while he came out of the trance...
ACP sir in bit dreamy-broken tone : H..haan ( but he was still looking at man's face with appalling expressions )...
Abhijeet was looking at him in concern and tension as he could not comprehend the reason behind his behaviour but soon his CID instincts started working...
Abhijeet ( pov ) : in worry ) Ye iss aadmi ko dekh ke Dad aise kyun shock ho gaye aakhir hai kaun ye...
Daya hurriedly : Sir ambulance aane mein time lagega humme car mein lejana padhega nahi to ( looking at man's face with concern ) we might lose him...
ACP was still totally out of the surroundings seeing which Abhijeet took the charge and his team members to take him to the hospital while Abhijeet booked the taxi and made ACP sit on the backseat while he sat beside him...
Abhijeet in concern : Dad aapko agar theek nahi lag raha to ghar jaa sakte hai hum...
ACP sir instantly : Nahi ( to driver ) City Hospital chalo...
Abhijeet was confused with his behaviour while he was looking out completely out of surroundings...
ACP sir ( pov ) : In broken painful tone ) A..Arun kaise aise achanak 23 saal baad ye kaise ho sakta hai mujhe sab pata lagana padhega ki ye achanak se kyun aaya hai vapas ( looked at his son's face ) ab aur kuch nahi hona chahiye iske sath nahi to mera bachcha nahi seh payega vapas...
Ya , the strong hearted ACP Pradyuman is fearing that his son would be badly hurt if anything happens again in his life . Now , Prakash 's younger brother is in front of their eyes.
ACP rubbed his hands on his face to calm his emotions while Abhijeet was looking at him in concern trying to figure out the reason behind his behaviour….
After few minutes ,
They reached hospital and straightaway made their way to the operation theatre….
In Hospital :
Abhijeet in worry : Daya theek hai ab voh….
Daya to in worry : Yaar voh doctor unko dekh rahe hain operation theatre mein hain ab voh….
Abhijeet nodded at him and added : Unke Family members ko inform kara….
Daya sighed a bit : Kaise inform karu ( Abhijeet became confused while he added ) kuch identification ke liye nahi hai unke pass na koi ID aur mobile bhi nahi tha ab bass unko hosh aaye to kuch pata lage humko….
Abhijeet nodded at him while ACP sat on bench which is a bit far away from the CID team lost in thoughts….
Daya confusingly : Yeh sir ko kya hua hai vo aise kyun bethe hain….
Abhijeet tensely : Vohi to jabse inhone unki shakal dekhi hai aise hi behave kar rahe hai na kuch bol rahe hai na kuch bass aise hi bethe hai…..
Daya nodded at him while he stated further : Isiliye to unka hosh mein aana bahut zaroori hai…
Abhijeet went and sat beside ACP….
Abhijeet softly : Dad kya hua koi baat hai kya….
ACP sir in fake smile but tension was clearly visible from his face : Kuch nahi beta bass aise hi…
Abhijeet in concern : Aapki tabiyat to theek hai na Dad….
ACP smilingly patted his cheeks : Haan mere bachche main bilkul theek hun mai aaya abhi ek minute mein….
Abhijeet nodded at him confusingly while he added lovingly : Chinta mat karo abhi aa raha hun thodi der mein….
ACP sir went from there leaving confused Abhijeet behind…
On ACP sir's side :
ACP sir was walking to and fro in tension and was dialling a number continuously…
ACP sir angrily : Kamal hai yeh Kunal bhi phone nahi uthata jab kaam ho iska ( he jerked his head annoyingly )
Suddenly his phone started ringing , he took a glance at the caller ID and hurriedly picked it up….
ACP sir angrily : Kahan the tum tabse phone laga raha hun….
Kunal in jolly tone : Sir shant aap aise aise kaam dete ho humko chup chup ke hi rehna padhta hai side mein aake aapse baat karni padhti hai….
ACP sir annoyingly : Achcha achcha theek hai sunn ek kaam hai tera…
Kunal in jolly tone : Banda aapki khidmat mein hazir hai…
ACP sir ( sternly ) : Kunal…
Kunal in seriousness : Haan sir bolo….
ACP sir in seriousness : Dekh ek naam bata raha hun Arun Singhaniya iski puri information chahiye ki ye pichle dino matlab ye 10 saal mein kahan tha iski photo tujhe send kardi hai ab jahan marzi se nikal ke la information mere liye bahut zaroori hai samjha….
Kunal nodded and added : Ji sir do se tin din do mein lata hun sab information….
ACP sir : Achcha mujhe ek ghante ke andar chahiye leke aa bye….
He cut the call without listening to him further….
ACP sir went inside and made his way straight to the operation theatre in tension...
Abhijeet ( pov ) : In anger ) Bass bahut hua kab se dekh raha hun aise hi ghum rahe hai tension mein ab bass mujhe puchna hai aur inko batana padhega mujhko...
He went near ACP with steady steps but before he could say anything the red bulb of operation theatre turned off and doctor came from the Operation theatre...
ACP sir in a bit worried tone : Doctor Sahab theek hai voh ab...
Doctor : Ji ACP sahab theek hai bullet maine nikal di hai but he was tortured ( everyone looked at each other in shock while he added ) aur unka mind bahut restless hai abhi mai unko check karke aa raha tha koi ek jaa sakta hai unse milne hosh aata hoga kisi bhi vaqt unko...kaun jayega...
ACP sir instantly : Mai jaa raha hun...
Everyone looked at him in confusion while doctor nodded at him and he took him inside the ICU where he was shifted after the operation...
In ICU:
Doctor : ACP sahab zyada kuch mat puchiyega abhi iss halat mein nahi hai voh zara sab hi stress could be fatal for him...
ACP nodded at him while Doctor left after giving him few more instructions...
ACP sat beside him and was waiting for him for getting conscious...He was trying to find out some distinctions between him and twenty three years old person but to he couldn't find a single difference confirming him to great extent that he is same person...
His phone buzzed and he instantly viewed the message which is from his informer . It confirmed him that he is the same man with all the documents proving it attached with it...
ACP sighed ( pov ) : Kunal ke message to yehi lagta hai asli hai par mujhe sachchi samajh nahi aa raha ye achanak kaise aur iski ye halat kaise hui...
After waiting for few more minutes ,
ACP sensed some restlessness in latter's eyes which made him alert...
Arun slowly unfurled his eyes lids and closed it again due to the brightness . The ward boy instantly switched off the light and switched the night bulb on...
He again tried to open his eye lids and slowly got adjusted to the surroundings but the weakness was clearly reflecting through the half opened eyes...
He turned his facial muscles towards ACP sir with a weak smile who was watching him with concern...
Arun weakly : A...ACP v..o voh Abhi ka..isa ha..i...
ACP sir in soft tone : Theek hai bilkul ( smiled a bit ) vaise hi hai jaisa tum chodke gaye the usko...
Arun smiled at him and added dreamily : Kaafi bada ho gaya hoga na ab to mera beta...
ACP looked at him with totally appalled expressions and he was just dumbstruck at his place who was unable to react anything , he looked at him in extreme hurt and disbelief...
Arun added in painful-hurt tone : Ab bass usko anath banke nahi rehna padhega aa gaya hun na main ab...
ACP was looking totally staggered at his place he was looking at him blankly , he recoiled a bit back in extreme shock , hurt , pain...
He completely understood what did he mean but added just to reconfirm himself...
ACP sir in panic-shocking tone : K..Kya m..matlab hai tumhara...
Arun with a sad-rueful smile : Yehi ki ab vo anath ban kar nahi rahega na ab uske chachu vapas aagaye hai na...
ACP sir in extreme hurt and anger : Anath kya matlab hai tumhara ( In painful tone ) baap hun main uska ( In hurt-painful tone ) aur tum anath anath chilae jaa rahe ho ( strongly ) mera beta hai vo ( In extreme hurt and anger ) Mera aur Namarta ka beta samjhe tum...
Arun looked at him and smiled ruefully : Ye to tum baas kehne ke liye bolte ho ( In Teary-painful tone ) khun ka Rishta to nahi hai na tumhara uske sath...
ACP sir interrupted him in rash : Khun ka Rishta kya bakwas kar rahe ho ( In teary-painful tone ) mai use dil se apna beta manta hun aur vo mera beta hi rahega samjhe tum...( In anger ) kal se usko samjhane mein laga hun ki ye khun ka Rishta nonsense kuch nahi hota aaj tum bhi shuru hogaye...
Arun shockingly : Abhi ko pata hai sab sach...
ACP sir in painful tone : Haan tumhare bhai ki vajah se sab bata diya usko usne ( Arun downed his head while he added in painful-hurt tone ) bahut mushkil se sambhala hai maine apne bachche ko ab please koi aur problem create mat karna ( Arun was going to open his mouth but he interrupted him in strong rash tone ) Mera beta hai samjhe voh bass...
Before ACP could confront him , he changed the topic as he saw Abhijeet was entering inside...
ACP sir ( with a fake smile ) : Kaise hai ab aap...
Arun was confused at his behaviour . He was trying to figure out the reason behind sudden change in his behaviour...
ACP sir with a loving smile : Abhi aao beta...
Abhijeet nodded at him who was standing at the door step while Arun looked at him with teary-painful expressions . It reminded him of his toddler who was just two months old when he left him with his friend to save his life...
Abhijeet in concern : Uncle ( Arun looked at him with sad-rueful smile ) ab aap kaise hai...
Arun nodded at him while ACP sir added smilingly : Bilkul theek hai vo bachche...
Abhijeet in concern : Dad vaise aapne inki family ko inform kardiya ( Arun looked at him with in pain while he added as ) discharge hogaya hai inka firr agar vo aajaye to theek hai nahi to hum chod denge inko inke ghar...
ACP sir smiled at him sadly and added : Beta inki family abroad rehti hai ( Arun looked at him shock while he added eyeing Arun for once ) aur jab tak hum pata nahi laga lete ki inpe humla kisne kiya tab tak kaise chod sakte agar dubara humla ho gaya to...
Abhijeet nodded in agreement while he added : Isliye ye tab tak humare sath rahenge beta...( Arun looked at him with a moist smile )
Abhijeet nodded at him with a soft smile and added : Chaliye chalte hai Team jaa chuki hai bureau ek case aagaya tha isliye...
ACP sir nodded at him...
ACP sir cautiously led Arun to washroom for changing his clothes while Abhijeet went for taking medicines and required prescription from the doctor . After completing the formalities , trio went to the parking area while Abhijeet sat on passenger seat and ACP and Arun made themselves comfortable on the back seat...and the journey started...
