Kisses and Chaos

"WHAT THE BUTT IS GOING ON HERE?!" someone screeched.

Henry didn't realize anyone was there until he felt Charlotte's lips leave his. He hurriedly looked up, still in a sort of daze. He saw Charlotte staring at the front door and turned around.

Piper was looking, well, angry to say the least. There was some mix of anger, shock, confusion, and relief in her face.

"Can SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHAT'S GOING ON? WAIT- ARE YOU GUYS DATING? BECAUSE IF SO, SOMEONE OWES ME TWENTY BUCKS?" Piper demanded.

"Wha- no, no Piper. We're not dating." Henry stuttered.

"What?!" Piper and Charlotte said at the same time.

"I thought we were in love-"

"You were just making out with Charlotte, and you're not dating her? Are you trying to mess with my girl?"

"I'm not, we're not-"

"TELL ME THE TRUTH!"

"We're dating! Right?"

"No!"

"YOU CAN'T MAKE OUT WITH SOMEONE AND THEN-"

And then it was total chaos. Everyone was talking at the same time: Henry stuttering, Piper screaming, and Charlotte in utter confusion.

Just then, two more people burst into Henry's house. The three of them stopped arguing and swiveled to face the door.

"Jasper? Weird little foreign man? Wait, why do you look so familiar?" Piper asked.

"Uhhhhhh, um-" Schwoz started, but Jasper cut him off.

"We need to borrow Charlotte and Henry." He swept past Piper and grabbed Henry, whom Charlotte was already clinging to.

"WAIT!" Piper yelled. Jasper jumped. "They're dating!"

The look on Jasper's face quickly turned to one of panic. "What do you mean they're dating?" he asked nervously, trying to pretend nothing was happening.

"Yeah, I walked in and they were making out," Piper explained.

"WHAT?" Jasper and Schwoz yelled simultaneously. Jasper glared at Henry and Henry gave him a desperate look in return.

"Look, Piper, I don't know what you saw, but they're not dating," Jasper explained.

"I SAW THEM MAKING OUT!" Piper screeched again. And then the chaos started up again, this time with five people. Everyone started talking at the same time.

"They weren't making out-"

"Yes, we were!"

"No, we're weren't!"

"I'M NOT DELUSIONAL!"

"Do you guys have flour?"

"Schwoz, why do you need flour?!"

"To bake more muffins."

Henry lunged at Schwoz. "YOU WANT TO MAKE MORE MUFFINS?"

It was a total mess. Piper was grilling Charlotte and Henry about their "relationship," while Piper and Charlotte were both interrogating Henry about why he kept saying that relationship wasn't real, while Henry was trying to attack Schwoz, while Jasper was trying to hold Henry back and pacify Piper at the same time, while Schwoz was trying to push Henry away to get into the kitchen to grab some flour. Any who was within a mile of the house would think that someone had thrown cats in a washing machine.

"Everybody STOP!" Jasper yelled suddenly. Everyone froze and turned to him. He grabbed Henry and Charlotte's arms and dragged them to the front door.

"We need to go. Now." He left, taking Charlotte and Henry with him. With one last look at Piper, Schwoz sprinted after them.

Back in the Man Cave…

"You really couldn't stop her-"

"I didn't know Piper was gonna walk in!"

"I didn't get my flour-"

"I don't understand what's going on-"

The chaos from Henry's house had somehow carried over all the way to the Man Cave.

"Look, can we just stop. Please?" Henry pleaded. Everyone went silent.

Charlotte stepped in next to Henry and wrapped her arm around his waist. Henry involuntarily put his arm across her shoulders. Jasper raised an eyebrow at the sight, but didn't say anything. He sighed.

"Okay, whatever. We'll deal with Piper later. Schwoz, you need to keep working on the antidote. Henry, stay here so Schwoz can run some tests on Charlotte. I'll distract Ray. Any questions?" Jasper finished.

Henry, Schwoz and Charlotte looked at him blankly.

"What?"

"Dude, when did you become so responsible?"

"It's been known to happen. Now, come on! Let me just- wait. Where's Ray?" Now that Jasper had mentioned it, the four of them realized that Ray wasn't in the Man Cave.

"NO!" Schwoz suddenly screamed.

"WHAT?" Henry and Jasper screamed back.

"The muffins. I left the rest here, and now they're gone." He looked at them apologetically.

"So, Ray...ATE THEM?" Henry screeched.

"Well, we don't know that for sure…"

"Oh, come on. This is Ray we're talking about. You think he'd just leave a bunch of muffins lying around without eating at least one? Why didn't you throw them out?"

"I kind of got distracted, okay? In case you didn't notice, someone HAD ALREADY EATEN ONE!"

"Oh my god, you guys. STOP YELLING! My ears can't take any more of it. Can we please just find Ray?"

"Fine." Henry said, glaring at Schwoz out of the corner of his eye. He could panic rising up in his stomach again. One person on a love muffin. Already a mess. Now two people on a love muffin? Hello, pandemonium.
