Aang was waiting on the side of the mountain for Reiko. As she approached, he held the flowers out to her. He wasn't very good at this, and he was very nervous.
"What are those for, Aang?" Reiko asked.
"I know our relationship will never be normal... " Aang began. "I know it's hard to trust me. I know that...but I can't help my feelings. I like you Reiko. I want you to be my girlfriend."
There was a silence.
"You know I'll never be a normal woman." Reiko stated sadly.
"And you know I'll never be a normal man." Aang said. "The world will always come first."
Reiko came closer. "I wouldn't have it any other way. I like you too."
She kissed him as the sun set, and Aang felt that despite the battles looming on the horizon, this was still a perfect, wonderful moment.
