A/N: Well, here's a small chapter to curb some reading needs. Not as satisfied with this one though, but that's just with hashing out more details.

Chapter 25 - Netgame
Meanwhile, with Hikaru and Taguchi...
Taguchi had been running around from booth to booth like a flittering hummingbird, stopping only just long enough to understand what each booth had to offer before heading onto the next one. Hikaru realized what the rambunctious boy was doing soon after, and just watched from contentedly from where he'd stopped at a booth displaying paper fans. He would keep one eye on the boy while the other admired the craftsmanship of the fans. Just looking at the fans reminded him of the times he had with Sai, playing Go everyday for hours on end just to satisfy the gluttonous ghost. Soon he was lost in his thoughts, forgetting to keep watch over Taguchi's whereabouts.
"-ndou-sensei! Shindou-sensei!" a voice calling him had him break out of now fond memories. He turned his head to see Taguchi now beside him, tugging on his arm.
"What is it Taguchi-kun?" Hikaru asked the boy, curious what had the boy back and tugging insistently at his arm.
"There's this booth with games!" Taguchi yelled excitedly, still pulling on Hikaru's arm, "It looks interesting! It's not like all those traditional games!"
"Well, I guess we can go take a look," Hikaru chuckled amusedly, letting the boy drag him towards said booth. He made a mental note to return to the paper fan booth later and take a better look at the fans.
"This way!" Taguchi cried, starting to break into a jog towards the booth.
When the two reached the booth, Hikaru took note of the small crowd of children and teens circled around the few computer stations set up. It seemed to be quite a popular game for the younger generation. Taguchi let go of Hikaru's arm, and pointed where the game demo video was displayed. The game seemed to be of a mmorpg variety, where players would create characters, receive quests, and even have Go showdowns with famous Go player npcs, or even with other players.
"I can see why this would garner appeal," Hikaru nodded as the demo video ended and restarted. "It seems like a good idea to gather more interest in Go."
"Right?!" Taguchi gushed, eyes wide and sparkling, "And my mom can't even complain about it, cuz I can tell her I'm studying Go!"
Hikaru smiled wryly at Taguchi's childish remark, "I don't think your mother would approve of this game as 'studying' Taguchi-kun."
Taguchi giggled bashfully to Hikaru's statement, "Ehehee. I can always try?"
"Okay, you do that," Hikaru said, he took a look at the time, "Did you want to stay here for a bit, or continue looking around the booths?"
"I wanna stay here!" Taguchi exclaimed, "I looked at the other booths already and I've also signed up for a time slot to play. It's soon, so I can wait around and check out how the game works from the others."
"Alright, I'll be going around to see the rest of the booths, you stay here until I come back alright?" Hikaru told Taguchi, "I'll bring some food back too! Anything you want kid?"
"Okay!" Taguchi agreed readily, "And I want anmitsu-pan! And yaki-niku!"
"Alright kid, I should be back in the next hour," Hikaru said as he left the booth, giving a last look to make sure Taguchi had listened to his instructions.
Taguchi had already turned away, his gaze directed at the computer screens and the players gaming away.
A/N 2: I do have a few ideas summarized, but haven't had the inspiration to type it out into an actual short story. So, yes, more waiting to be done.
