Finchpaw couldn't believe it she was going to the gathering! It was just over a moon since she and Flamepaw had been made apprentices and Bramblestar had invited them to the gathering

The tortoiseshell she cat was milling around camp with Baypaw' Myrtlepaw' and Flamepaw the four of them had been talking about the gathering all day with Baypaw in particular seeming overly excited.

" Do you think will meet Apprentices from other Clans" Flamepaw pondered out loud his green eyes looking off into the dark forest ahead

" Don't be mouse brained Flamepaw of course will met other apprentices" Baypaw nudged his friend playfully

realizing how stupid he sounded Flamepaw let out a laugh, " Just joking with you" Flamepaw laughed out

" Oh good for a moment i thought that you really were that mouse brained"

Finchpaw had notice that since becoming a apprentice Baypaw had grown a lot taller and sleek like his father Dewnose

Flamepaw had also grown he was almost taller then her when he was smaller then her as kits, he probably looks a lot like Larksong except for his green eyes which he got from Sparkpelt

Baypaw and Flamepaws muscles were beginning to develop and there fur was slicked back against there frames.

Finchpaws thoughts were interrupted by Bramblestars loud yowl.

" It's time for us to depart"

The four apprentices sprang to there paws to join the Clan outside of camp.

Finchpaw had fallen in along side Cinderheart, Lilyheart, and Flamepaw letting her blue eyes wonder to the forest, It looked completely different after dark until now the tortoiseshell apprentice had never seen it at night

" Hey you excited to get to the island" Baypaw asked Flamepaw " Baypaw shouldn't you be with Mousewhisker hes probably looking for you" Cinderheart inquired." Ha you think that grumpy old bat cares about me ha that's hilarious" Baypaw smirked yellow eyes gleaming with amusement before bounding off to join Flamepaw.

" Great StarClan that apprentice is difficult" Mousewhisker sighed padding up beside Cinderheart and Lilyheart.

Since Baypaw was made a apprentice he had never got along with Mousewhisker he always said that Mousewhisker was to pushy and trying to make him look good to the other cats in ThunderClan.

" Oh there you are Baypaw you get back here right now" Baypaw ignored the gray and white tom and continued talking to Flamepaw " Baypaw Baypaw i'm talking to you listen up! " Like i'm gonna listen to you" Baypaw retorted in a insulting tone.

Myrtlepaw pointed to Finchpaw to see they where crossing into WindClan territory and the island where the gathering took place. The surrounding smelled of heather as the wind blew across the moor.

Finchpaw followed Cinderheart, Eaglewing, and Myrtlepaw as the gray she cat leapt up the tree bridge.

" Remember keep you tail balanced and don't look down" Finchpaw followed behind Cinderheart across the tree bridge.

Once reaching the end of the tree bridge she leapt off of the fallen log sleeking down her tortoiseshell fur she searched for the pelts of the other apprentices.

The other ThunderClan where chatting with the RiverClan and WindClan along side Baypaw and Myrtlepaw apprentices Finchpaw bounded over to join them.

"Hi, Finchpaw" Flamepaw mewed cheerfully, This is Splashpaw he flicked his tail to a brown tabby tom, And Fogpaw he nodded to a gray and white she cat.

both smiled warmly at the tortoiseshell she cat " Hi i'm Finchpaw Flamepaws sister"

Fogpaw smiled " Hows your warrior training going"

Flamepaw greened " My mentor's Lilyheart she's the best mentor ever" the black tom enthusiastically puffed out the fur on his chest.

" My mentor's Cinderheart she's really cool she thought in the great battle"

" Wow the great battle that's so cool" Finchpaw overheard a small golden tabby talking to a black and white apprentice, The golden tabby seemed embarrassed that Finchpaw had noticed her cowering beside the larger apprentice.

"Cats of all clans let the gathering begin!"

A yowl sounded from the tree in the center of the clearing. Finchpaw settled herself beside her brother Splashpaw and Fogpaw and peered up at the great oak tree to see the five leaders

" I will report first" Harestar, the Leader of WindClan meowed. "WindClan is thriving we have three new apprentices Whistlepaw, Songpaw, and Flutterpaw".

A ripple of congratulations spread amongst the clan "Whistlepaw! Songpaw! Flutterpaw! Whistlepaw! Songpaw! Flutterpaw!" Finchpaw managed to spot the three apprentices among the WindClan cats Whistlepaw and Songpaw where sitting calmly eyes focused on the great oak wall Flutterpaw sat tall orange eyes gleaming with pride.

The next leader to speak was Tigerstar

" Shadowclan is thriving" The brown tabby tom meowed " Hoppaw and Flaxpaw have completed there warrior training and have earned there warrior names Hopwhisker and Flaxfoot"A chorus of cheers rippled across the Clans " Hopwhisker! Flaxfoot! Hopwhisker! Flaxfoot! Hopwhisker! Flaxfoot!"

Finchpaw noticed Cherryfall whispering something with Stormcloud Finchpaw couldn't help but listen in

" You know those two are part rouge right"

"So Hopwhisker and Flaxfoot are half rouge i should go see if Myrtlepaw knows about that.

"Snaketooth has also given birth to Slatefur's kits Newtkit, Badgerkit, and Lavenderkit."

" Now its time for SkyClan to report" Leafstar yowled steeping in front of Tigerstar " We have a new apprentice Wrenpaw." " Wrenpaw! Wrenpaw!" As the clans cheered the small golden tabby how she guessed was Wrenpaw sunk down timidly

" RiverClan is prospering we have two new apprentices Splashpaw and Fogpaw. Both apprentices sat proudly as the clans cheered Finchpaw spotted who she assumed to be there parents Sneezecloud and Havenpelt sitting proudly with the other RiverClan warriors.

Finally it was Brambalstar's turn to report

" The pray is running well in ThunderClan we have two new apprentices Finchpaw and Flamepaw" " Finchpaw! Flamepaw! Finchpaw! Flamepaw!" Finchpaw's body swelled with pride Blue eyes beaming with pride Flamepaw sat beside her confidently. " That is all

" Clan meeting dismissed" Harestar yowled before leaping down from the great oak to join the rest of WindClan.

"Hay so your Wrenpaw please to meet you i'm Finchpaw" the golden tabby she cat looked up surprised.

" Ah um a ya i'm Wrenpaw p pe Please to meet you ff f Finchpaw" Wrenpaw was cut of by Leafstar's yowl.

" SkyClan its time to leave."

" Nice to meet you i got to get going."

The golden tabby she-cat flashed Finchpaw a warm smile before bounding of to join SkyClan

ThunderClan its time to leave Bramblestar announced

Finchpaw smiled to Wrenpaw before bounding of to join ThunderClan

Finchpaw trotted along side Cinderheart " So Finchpaw how was your first gathering!" Cinderheart questioned
