Finchpaws point of view
The sun filter for the trees as it rose in the sky Finchpaw was sent on the morning hunting patrol with Whitewing, Cinderheart, Berrynose , Blossomfall, Dewnose, Honeyfur, and herself.
Before leaving Finchpaw padded over to the medicine den to check in with Flamepaw and Baypaw. It had been two days since the wolf attack and ThunderClan was still very shaken up by it. Thornclaw, Lilyheart, Mousewhisker,Baypaw and Flamepaw where still recovering in the medicine den.
" Hey how are you to doing" Finchpaw padded into the medicine den Flamepaw was curled up sleeping in his nest well Baypaw was stretching out in the his.
" Where doing fine Finchpaw thanks for checking on us" Baypaw smiled " Thanks i,m going to go on the Morning hunting patrol i just came to check up on you"
" I,m doing fine its nice to not be hunting with Mousewhisker" " Hay i hears that!" Mousewhisker snapped from the back of the den clearly not asleep. " Hey Mousewhisker be quite Flamepaws trying to sleep" Baypaw retorted.
Deciding not to teal with Baypaw and Mousewhisker's argument Finchpaw padded out of the den to join Cinderheart on the patrol. Finchpaw couldn't help but think about Baypaw how charming his smile was how open minded and unique he was.
Brushing the thoughts of Baypaw aside Finchpaw followed behind Cinderheart as the patrol strolled out of the camp heading towards the WindClan border.
The patrol stalked along the stream that suppurated Thunderclan and WindClan Looking for pray the used the stream as a refuge during LeafBare. The stream was still flowing in the winter the rocky pebbles shining in the morning sunlight . Finchpaws blue eyes focused in on a vole darting across the rocky shore looking for food drawing in breath Finchpaw sprang forward biting down on the vole killing it.
Finchpaw buried the vole before going back to look for pray " Great catch Finchpaw" Cinderheart congratulated a squirrel hanging from her jaws.
" Some of us should split up keep going further down stream" Whitewing suggested Dewnose and Honeyfur nodded in agreement.
Finchpaw nodded and followed Cinderheart upstream. As they where walking Honeyfur noticed a rabbit drinking from the stream crouching on her hind legs Honeyfur sprang forward at the rabbit.
Applepaws point of view
Applepaw strutted across the moor following behind Brindlewing on the morning border patrol along with Emberfoot Leaftail, Crouchfoot, Larkwing,Brindlewing, Songpaw, and herself.
Applepaw watched as the sun rose into the sky shining down onto the sparkling snow a small bird fluttered from the stream bead flying into the sky.
" Get of our territory you mangy ThunderClan cat!" Leaftail screeched.
Applepaw turned her head to see what Leaftail was screeching about a white she-cat with Yellow splotches who Applepaw guessed was Honeyfur was chasing a rabbit on WindClan territory across the stream three ThunderClan cats appeared to be shouting at her.
Applepaws blue eyes filled with rage how dare ThunderClan be hunting on there territory they can stay in there dark spooky woods not in there moor.
Leaftail charged through the snow followed by Applepaw and the rest of the patrol.
Honeyfur stopped in her tracks panting from the running turning to face the WindClan patrol.
" i i,m so sorry i didn't realize that i was hunting on WindClan territory" Honeyfur stammered out " Shut you mouth you over prideful Pheasant" Leaftail growled amber eyes flashed with anger " You have no right to hunt our rabbits on our territory"
" Hay hay hay whats going on here" The rest of the ThunderClan patrol arrived from to investigate what happened.
" Give Honeyfur a break she didn't know that she was hunting on your territory" Dewnose rushed to Honeyfurs defense.
" Shut your mouth you ThunderClan rouges we need all the rabbits we can get you can get all your pray from that forest of yours"
" Where aloud to hunt rabbits and that rabbit was on our side of the stream and we have always been hunting them and." Dewnose was cut of by Emberfoot.
" Well Honeyfur chased that rabbit onto WindClan's territory you shouldn't have kept chasing it" Emberfoot snapped.
" Well to bad whats done is done" Dewnose retorted.
" That rabbits from our territory stop hunting our rabbits!" Leaftail yelled.
" Well make us!" Dewnose screeched.
Leaftail unsheathed his claws and raked his claw across Dewnose's muzzle. " That's it" Whitewing yelled " ThunderClan attack!"
Finchpaws point of view
"Wait what where fighting whats happening" Finchpaw froze still as the ThunderClan hunting patrol charged into battle with the WindClan border patrol watching Cinderheart grapple with Larkwing.
A burst of pain flashed through her body knocking her to the ground Finchpaw looked up to see the tortoiseshell and white pelt of Songpaw who had tackled her to the ground, Finchpaw batted at Songpaw's muzzle Songpaw slashed Finchpaw's ear.
Finchpaw bit down on Songpaw's leg the she-cat screeched in pain, using the distraction Finchpaw rolled over escape Songpaw's grasp.
Staggering up to her feet Finchpaw lunged at Songpaw slashing her flank Songpaw screeched in pain.
Before Finchpaw could slash again a bluer of yellow tabby fur slammed into Finchpaw knocking her to the ground.
Applepaws point of view
" How dare that ThunderClan apprentice harm Songpaw! my friend!" Applepaw tackled the tortoiseshell apprentice batting and raking her muzzle blood spatting on the ground Finchpaw turned her face to protect her eyes.
Finchpaw swiped at Applepaws face Applepaw rolled to dodge it and retaliated by slashing Finchpaws exposed belly Finchpaw tried to get up to retaliate before Applepaw lunged onto Finchpaw holding her down.
Finchpaw struggled beneath Applepaw, Applepaw used her claws to rake Finchpaws cheek. " ThunderClan retreat!" Berrynose yowled Finchpaw staggered to her feet and sprinted of with rest of the ThunderClan patrol.
Applepaw watched as the patrol ran away like little kittens into the woods Applepaw felt a pride surging through her body those weak silly ThunderClan cats would never hunt on the territory of WindClan the best Clan in all of the forest.
