Wrenpaws point of view
" Why did i decide to this why did i decide to do this" Wrenpaw thought to herself everything was just fine till she had to go and come up with this stupid idea to go meet up with Finchpaw, Flamepaw, and Applepaw at the SkyClan border
SkyClan had made it back to camp and had gone to sleep except for Wrenpaw who had faked sleep and luckily the adults had bought her bluff witch was why she was now traveling across the edge of the lake along ShadowClan territory heading for WindClan to get Applepaw.
Wrenpaw stalked threw the snow as she neared the twoleg half bridge, To the golden tabby apprentices shock to see that there where two cats there.
In the dark Wrenpaw was unable to make out there pelt colors but the two cats appeared to be star gazing romantically.
not wanting a confrontation Wrenpaw decided to walk around behind them her body concealed in the snow thankfully the sound of her rustling threw the snow didn't alerted the two cats and just like that she was into RiverClan territory
The RiverClan border was quite except for the occasional cry of an owl that made Wrenpaw freeze in her tracks the marsh that normally would be squishy and wet was solid do to the cold weather.
As she continued her journey the image of the silhouettes of those two cats continued to replay in Wrenpaws mind. Sure Wrenpaw was all for spending time with romantic partners and romance in general she thought that Gravelnose, Quailfeather, and Kitescratch where especially good looking but why would someone want to be out in the middle of the open in this weather.
" Could it be a forbidden relationship" Wrenpaw thought out loud "if its on ShadowClan territory then it must be a ShadowClan cat" That means that the cat they where with is probably from RiverClan or " SkyClan! know it cant be" but it did Wrenpaw had heard of the time that ShadowClan had nearly been destroyed by a group of roughs called the kin and the ShadowClan cats had lived in SkyClan so a ShadowClan cat and SkyClan cat falling in love made sense it made more since then any other clan.
Wrenpaw stopped to think on who it could be from SkyClan who didn't already have a mate " Lets see no not Macgyver hes been really close with Fringewhisker lately and their basically mates not Sunnypelt because shes close with Dewspring and Palesky, Turtlecrawl, and Gravelnose aren't interested in mates so who could it be"
Wrenpaw snapped out of her thoughts when she realized she had made it to the vast heather fields that marked the WindClan border "now all that i have to do is go get Applepaw
Wrenpaw stalked across the heather moor trying her best to be quite as the WindClan camp came into view. Wrenpaw hated walking around on WindClan's moor not having any trees in the hole territory made her feel exposed and vulnerable knowing there was a wolf on the prowl made her nervousness spike even more.
Applepaw knew to meet her but with how prickly and fickle Applepaw could be she just hoped the yellow tabby apprentice kept her end of the deal
Looking around the shallow scoop Wrenpaw spotted a pier of blue eyes starring back at her
" Oh thank StarClan you remembered" " Shut up" Applepaw pulled Wrenpaw to the ground " Be quite your gonna wake up every cat in WindClan!" Wrenpaw glanced over to the WindClan camp thankfully no one in camp seemed to notice them.
" Great come on Applepaw lets head to ThunderClan."
Finchpaw's point of view
" Cats of ThunderClan tonight we our hear to honor the memory of Hollytuft" Bramblestars deep voice rang out sadly Finchpaw sat with the other apprentices as they watched Hollytuft's vigil.
Cinderheart was crying into lionblaze's side well the golden tabby tom sat somberly Fernsong, Sorrelstripe, Snaptooth, Spotfur, and Flywhisker sat hunched together sadly
" Hollytuft lived a quite life always ready and willing to serve her clan she died to soon and tragically may hear spirit find peaceful resting and good hunting in StarClan"
Bramblestar finished his speech and leapt down from high rock to leave Hollytuft's family to sit vigil for her aside from that most of the cats were asleep after getting home from the gathering Bumblestripe was chitchatting with Rosepetal and Blossomfall and Stormcloud was helping his mate Cherryfall and daisy rebuild the nursery
" I'm so excited to have these kits" Stormcloud meowed happily " I'v always wanted to have kits since i joined ThunderClan i so excited to be a father"
Finchpaw found it adorable how much Stormcloud cared about Cherryfall if she ever had a mate she hoped that he would care for her as much as Stormcloud did
Baypaw and Myrtlepaw had gone to bed and where fast asleep Finchpaw and Flamepaw sat in their nest waiting as the last of ThunderClan's cats went to their dens. leaving just the cats attending Hollytuft's vigil.
" Ready Flamepaw" Finchpaw whispered to her brother " Ready as all ever be!" The black apprentice squeaked in excitement the two apprentices silently slipped out of the apprentice den slowly stalking through the camp
" How do we get out of hear?" Flamepaw questioned "Will go through the dirt place" " Okay then" The two apprentices stalked through the dirt place exciting the camp and heading out into the forest
" Remember Wrenpaw told us to meet her and Applepaw at the SkyClan border" Finchpaw and Flamepaw trekked through the snow and undergrowth reaching the SkyClan border in thirty minutes
The SkyClan ThunderClan border was marked by a sharp increase in pine trees from the more varied trees of ThunderClan as Finchpaw scanned the undergrowth the tortoiseshell apprentice was knocked to the ground by Wrenpaw.
" There you our come on now lets get going" Wrenpaw smiled shaking snow from her pelt " Wait where our we going i thought we were talking about the border skirmish"
" Like we were gonna talk about that" Wrenpaw laughed " I just said that so you would come you would never have agreed to this if i tooled you the truth."
" What! where are we going then" Finchpaw snapped " Where going north of the lake to see whats up their" Applepaw responded
" Also where not alone" a loud rustling came from the bushes to revile even more apprentices " So who is all here again?" Flamepaw questioned
" Splashpaw, Fogpaw, Woodpaw, Flutterpaw, Songpaw Rootpaw, Baypaw, and Myrtlepaw." Wrenpaw answered
" Wait! Baypaw! and Myrtlepaw! there here" Just then the two ThunderClan apprentices emerged from the undergrowth.
" Baypaw Myrtlepaw how did you know about this" " I told them" Flamepaw admitted sheepishly " Flamepaw! how could you that's it i'm going back to camp"
Finchpaw began to stroll back to camp when Baypaw and Myrtlepaw ran in front of her to stop her from leaving.
" Finchpaw Finchpaw what holed up" Myrtlepaw spoke up " " You need to have fun some times living in the moment" Myrtlepaw's blue eyes glimmered in the night.
" Please Finchpaw do it this once for me and Baypaw" Myrtlepaw plead " Come on now Finchy have some fun for once." Baypaw smirked
" Don't call me Finchy" Finchpaw snapped " All stop calling you that if come along on the adventure with us" Baypaw's yellow eyes shined like stars in the night
" Fine all go" Finchpaw sighed before trotting back to the group.
"All right then apprentices hears for an adventure we will never forget." Wrenpaw yowled
