Finchpaw's point of view
" For the love of StarClan why did i ever agree to this" Finchpaw panted heavily sitting on top of the tree branch watching the wolf from above.
" Why why did i agree to this" Finchpaw slammed paw on the tree branch in frustration " Why! why! why!"
The wolf gave up and walked of probably getting tired of waiting and going to eat the leftover pray that the apprentices where eating.
" All right lets get down from here well that wolfs distracted" Wrenpaw announced before leaping of the tree followed by Rootpaw.
Finchpaw leaped from the tree even though the adrenaline had wore of leaving Finchpaw feeling exhausted like she was hardly able to move, However the idea of waiting any longer and getting to deal with a wrath of the adults in ThunderClan sounded far worse so for all Finchpaw cared StarClan could be descending to the mortal world and she wouldn't even care.
The tortoiseshell apprentice half leapt half fell from the tree branch crashing onto the ground with a thud.
" Hay you need help" Baypaw leapt from the tree beside Finchpaw " Know i'm fine thank you very much" Finchpaw heaved herself to her paws and began to walk bedside Flamepaw.
The apprentices had set of on their journey back home and where now heading along the RiverClan stream.
" I'm gonna help Fogpaw she probably needs help walking" The black tom bounded of to help Fogpaw leaving Finchpaw walking beside Baypaw.
" Well that's just great" Finchpaw thought to herself Flamepaw knew all two well how much Finchpaw detested The golden tabby and white toms lazy and anti authority attitude yet somehow Flamepaw still managed to fined ways to put them together.
Finchpaw mad a mental note to get back at her brother when given the next chance she got as she tried to think of ways to get away from Baypaw but soon realized that she couldn't outpace him in her exhausted state so she would have to deal with Baypaw.
" Well Finchpaw how do you enjoy the adventure?" Baypaw smirked his yellow eyes where shiny in the darkness " Enjoyed! enjoyed! it was awful i should never have agreed to this Sparkpelt's gonna kill me when she finds out this was stupid and all we accomplished was nothing but almost get ourselves killed! " Finchpaw snapped at Baypaw.
" Hay look at it this way at least you did had something different for once for once you weren't leaving you normal boring life" "Are you implying that my life is not boring Finchpaw snapped " Fine name me one thing you do in you're day that's not boring" Baypaw retorted.
Finchpaw's mind wandered thinking about what she did on her normal daily life " Well uh i wake up train with Cinderheart go hunting or on patrol and go to bed"
" Exactly your life is normal conformist and boring besides who cares what Sparkpelt thinks about it i don't care how Dewnose and Sorrelstripe think about me hell i don't care what anyone thinks about me"
As much as Finchpaw disliked parts of his personality she couldn't help but admire how confident he was in himself plus being honest with herself she did think he was hot with how tall he was and his pretty golden tabby fur with white splotches even if she would never admit her feelings to anyone.
" Well here we our" the apprentices had reached the lake territory as the island the RiverClan's camp was on came into view.
" All right do we all agree that we never speak of this again" Wrenpaw yowled one by one the apprentices agreed including Finchpaw hoping that all of this would be swept away into the shadows.
All the apprentices stood silently with nothing but the faint sound of water running beneath the ice.
" Alright its time we get back to our camps the sun should start rising in half an hour" Splashpaw finally brook the silence " Come on fog paw lets go" The brown tabby tom began to help his injured sister walk back to RiverClan camp.
" Good idea come on Wrenpaw we should go to" Rootpaw and Wrenpaw bounded of following the river heading for Skyclan territory " Ya come on lets go" Woodpaw flashed Finchpaw a warm smile before turning east to WindClan territory.
" Well that's that" Baypaw mewed " Guess we should get back to camp" Finchpaw followed after the golden tabby and white tom " It really is time i do more" Finchpaw thought to herself as ThunderClan's forest came into view.
Wrenpaw's point of view
Wrenpaw opened her eye groggily " Wake up sweetheart its time for battle training" Rabbitleap had woken her up for battle training Wrenpaw lazily rose to her paws before stalking out of the apprentice den.
The sky was clear of clouds as the snow sparkled suns rays most of SkyClan was already awake Leafstar was sitting on tall stump having a conversation with Harrybrooke Tinycloud was sharing tongues with her mate Sparrowpelt who many in the clan where suspecting would be moving to the elders den soon.
" Ha Wrenpaw how ya doing today" Wrenpaw could tell how tired Rootpaw was from last nights events well she was tired to Wrenpaw was acting well enough to hide it from the adults where as Rootpaw who had never been good at lying was obliviously showing it with large bags under his eyes.
Wrenpaw picked up a small robin to eat as she tor into its flesh she couldn't help but think of ThunderClan and what Flamepaw said about them only getting to eat one small piece of pray in the afternoon "how awful that must be for them i'd hate to live like that" Wrenpaw thought to herself. Wrenpaw's thoughts were interrupted by a loud yowl coming from the SkyClan camp entrance.
Kitescratch, Mintfur, Violetshine and Sandynose who had been sent out on a border patrol walked in through the entrance followed by a RiverClan patrol consisting of Mistystar, Reedwhisker, Brackenpelt, Podlight, Sneezecloud, Softpelt, and Lizardtail.
Many cats came out to see what was happening Mintfur, Nettlesplash, Plumwillow, and Gravelnose came out of the warriors den well Frecklewish and Fidgetflake came out of the medicine den.
Wrenpaws mind began to race why would a RiverClan patrol trekked all the way to SkyClan territory that was until she saw at the back of the patrol were Splashpaw and Fogpaw both apprentices looked ashamed with their heads hung low and eyes focused on the ground their father Sneezecloud was side eyeing them his green eyes glowing with anger.
Leafstar got up from Tallstump to met the RiverClan leader " Mistystar wants to talk with you she said its urgent" Kitescratch reported to Leafstar the Skyclan leader walked up face to face with Mistystar.
" Hello their Mistystar" Leafstar greeted the blue gray she cat " Greetings i'm here to discuses something important" " What is it that you want to discuss?" Leafstar questioned " Were her to discuses the fact that your apprentices almost got my daughter killed!" Sneezecloud snapped trying to lunge at Rootpaw and Wrenpaw before being held back by Brackenpelt and Podlight
" What are you talking about?" Leafstar asked " Well after much interrogation about Fogpaw's leg bite and according to him several apprentice lead by Wrenpaw and Rootpaw snuck out of camp and went milling around past the territory and got attacked by a wolf" Shock yowl's rouse across the clearing " We advice that you punish both of them il see you at the next gathering without most of the apprentices RiverClan time to depart will be reporting to ThunderClan next" The RiverClan patrol stalked of through the SkyClan camp entrance Sneezecloud gave Wrenpaw one last look before leaving.
SkyClan erupted into a loud corries of yowl's Needlepaw even screamed " Traitor! Wrenpaw felt like she just wanted to disappear.
" Wrenpaw how could you do such a stupid thing!" Rabbitleap yowled at Wrenpaw well Bellaleaf starred silently clearly in distress Wrenpaw had never heard her father yell before he was usually a very quite spoken cat so to hear him yell mad Wrenpaw fell even worse.
" SkyClan! SkyClan! calm down" Leafstar's loud yell silenced the cats " Wrenpaw and Rootpaw you've commented a offence against the warrior code for what you have done you are to stay in camp for a full moon" Leafstar yowled " Everyone else get back to you're regular activity's" Wrenpaw wanted to sink into the ground she knew that she had made a very grave mistake.
