Great StarClan why on did i go" Finchpaw cried out RiverClan had found out about their meetup and now all four apprentices had to stay in camp four one moon.

" Baypaw Myrtlepaw i'm so disappointed in you!" Sorrelstripe snapped at her kits " Agreed you do should be ashamed of yourself" Dewnose's amber eyes shinned in disappointment Myrtlepaw sat silently her amber eyes staring meeting her mothers eyes however Baypaw head was turned around ignoring his parents.

" Baypaw! Baypaw! look at me young tom" Dewnose snapped at his son.

" Why should i care you don't care about why should i care what Bramblestar tells me what to do you just want to control me it drives me nuts how you treat the apprentices i'v had it with you!" Baypaw snapped his yellow eyes burning into Dewnose's soul before storming of behind the apprentices den.

" Baypaw! Baypaw! get back here!" Sorrelstripe yelled bounding of after Baypaw before being stopped by Dewnose " Sorrelstripe leave him if he wants to be difficult then let him" Dewnose tried to comfort his mate.

" Great StarClan that apprentice is difficult" Mousewhisker sighed from the clearing " Why did i have to get him of all cats" Finchpaw felt sorry for gray and white tom as much as she liked Baypaw Mousewhisker's attitude towards him was justifiable.

A lot had happened on the night they went on their adventure that night Cherryfall had given birth to two healthy kits a ginger and white tabby she-kit named Waspkit and a dappled pale gray tom named Aspenkit which was why Stormcloud had been so happy lately when he wasn't hunting or on patrol he was at the nursery visiting Cherryfall and his kits.

Well Finchpaw loved kits she couldn't help but feel worried about Waspkit and Aspenkit's safety with how scars pray was this leafbare and all four apprentices grounded in camp the last thing that they needed was two knew mouths to feed.

With nothing better to do all Finchpaw could do was sit out in the sun as the sky was clear that day thought the snow was still covering the camp Finchpaw closed her eyes to let herself rest just as she closed her blue eyes she was interrupted by Squirrelflight.

" Finchpaw Finchpaw i need you now" Finchpaw rose up to her paws to meet her grandmother and deputy " We need you're help rebuilding the quarry wall after that avalanche we need to rebuild the quarry wall"

" Yes Squirrleflight i'l be on it right away" Finchpaw insistently got to her paws and bounded of the quarry wall it was bad enough she had to stay in the camp for a hole moon so complaining about it would make it even worse hell if she was nice enough to the adults she mite get out of punishment early.

Flamepaw and Myrtlepaw where already at the quarry with their mentor's Lilyheart and Eaglewing packing snow and gravel onto the collapsed quarry wall Finchpaw got to work packing up gravel and snow onto the quarry wall.

" Aren't Waspkit and Aspenkit cute" Lilyheart babbled the dark tabby she cat always loved kits and loved playing with kits some of Finchpaws first memory's where Lilyheart visiting them in the nursery. " I guess so but the last thing we needed right now was two more mouths to feed" Eaglewing sighed " I see your point but they don't eat pray they drink milk from Cherryfall.

" Ya but why would you have kits now in leaf bare first Cherryfall and Stormcloud and now i,v heard from the other queens that Twigbranch has been noticeable bigger recently and Bumblestripe and Rosepetal were seen sharing tongues recently" Finchpaw hated listing to gossip in such difficult times she felt like their were far better things to do.

Mousewhisker appeared from the warriors den dragging Baypaw by the scruff the golden tabby and white tom was obliviously unhappy about it " Ha let me go this isn't fun!" Baypaw whined " Well maybe that's how i feel when you mouth of at me" Mousewhisker's tone was sharp " Now you're helping us with that wall our i'm making sure you're punishment at least a extra half moon" Begrudgingly Baypaw walked over to the quarry wall to help rebuild it.

" Alright as part of your punishment Bramblestars making you rebuild the quarry wall" Eaglewing spoke " And don't even try getting out of this we have the elders watching your every move" Mousewhisker snarled Finchpaw caught site of Graystripe sun bathing in the clearing just close enough to keep an eye on the apprentices.

" Well what are you doing then?" Myrtlepaw questioned.

" Well you do this we will be out hunting" Lilyheart responded before heading out to join the hunting patrol.

" For the love of StarClan why do we have to do this" Finchpaw sighed packing in the gravel with her pads she couldn't wait to eat as she saw the third daily patrol come into camp with pray.

The sun was starting to fall in the sky when Brackenfur's yowl interrupted the apprentices hard work

A loud commotion was heard from the other side of camp Finchpaw's blue eyes swirled to the over side of camp cats seemed to gathering around the fresh kill pile Finchpaw trotted over to see what was happening.

" I cant believe this" Whitewing screeched " Its totally outrages" Thornclaw snapped Finchpaw wriggled her way through the crowd of cats to see what was happening once the tortoiseshell apprentice reached the center her bright blue eyes widened with horror the fresh kill pile was completely gone.

Flamepaws point of view

" What do mean its all gone" Flamepaws mind went numb "how can it be all gone" " We tried our best dear but theirs only so much we can hunt" Sparkpelt tried her best to conform her son pulling him in close for a hug it made Flamepaw feel comforted like when he was a young kit in the nursery when he didn't have a care in the world.

" may all cats old enough to catch their own pray gather around highledge for a clan meeting" Bramblestar's yowl cut through the clearing ThunderClan swarmed around high ledge like bees.

" Cats of ThunderClan i know that right now times are uncertain right now we our trying our best to hunt enough pray we've tripled our hunting patrols but we're still don't have enough pray" As much as the brown tabby tom tried to sound calm Flamepaw could make out the concern and worry in his voice.

" So today to boost our hunting numbers we our going to add four new warriors to ThunderClan's ranks" It took Flamepaw a few moments to comprehend what his leader was saying when it did the reality hit the black tom hundreds of times harder then that wolf ever did " Wait hes making us warriors what! now why! i,m not ready!" Flamepaw started to cry he wasn't ready to be a warrior he only trained for two and a half moons.

Flamepaw looked around for his sister and friends Finchpaw looked flabbergasted just like her apprentice ceremony the tortoiseshell she cat was rapidly tapping her claws on the ground her bright blue eyes darting wildly until looking eyes with her brother both understood the levity of the situation Myrtlepaw's eyes were locked to the ground well Baypaw starred directly at the Bramblestar his yellow eyes burning with intense anger and bitterness.

A eruption of protests and yowls echoed through out the clan " How dare you!" Cloudtail yowled from the crowd " Their a bunch of fox hearted traitors!" Rosepetal screeched " You cant do this there to young" Lilyheart jumped in front of Flamepaw her eyes shining with fear and worry " You cant do this think of Larksong!" Tears rolled down Lilyheart's face her voice shaking "he was my son he would never want this for his kits"

" Ya you cant do this to Finchpaw and Flamepaw their to young to be a warrior " Honeyfur growled stepped forward from the crowd along side Leafshade " Or brother would never want this" Leafshade snarled

Flamepaw started to hyperventilate it was the only thing he could do to not completely break down.

" Silence!" Bramblestar's voice boomed " Now let us begin" The clan began to settle down " Baypaw, Myrtlepaw, Finchpaw,Flamepaw please step forward" Flamepaw struggled to move his legs felt like dead tree trunks yet somehow he manged to pull himself in front of highledge.

" I Bramblestar leader of ThunderClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices they have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and i commend them to you as a warrior in their turn"

"Flamepaw uh no Flamestorm are you okay" Sparkpelt rushed out of the crowd followed by Finchsong the flame colored tabby she cats green eyes where puffy and swollen from crying.

Flamestorm tried to speak to his mother but all he could do was let out a feint gasp " Hu hu hu yaa yaa i'm i'm ff fine mm mom" Flamestorm felt his legs give out under him his head exploded in pain
