Before I begin this chapter, I'd like to say thanks for the feedback on the last chapter. I've taken the time to look over a few reviews and I will take them under consideration. I will do my best to try to fix a few things in later chapters while also fixing the RWBY lore a bit.
However, I will be removing unnecessary deaths. While Penny's death may seem unnecessary, good news is thanks to Volume 7, I don't have to worry much. If you haven't seen Volume 7, you'll understand why. With that, let's just jump right in.
(Remanent: Beacon)
Ash was currently in his team's dorm by himself, Derek was in the lab at school without telling his teammates why, Heather was studying notes and Shard had gotten back from the lecture hall after getting detention from Goodwitch as it turns out he got into a fight and after he was done, he went to the Amphitheater to let out some frustration.
They had a half day so he didn't have much to worry about and the day was over, so he decided to go to the dorm after finally managing to get himself from Heather. He was thinking about how she was starting to catch onto his lies and figured he needed to tell her at some point, so he tried to think of how he was going to do so. As much as it wasn't gonna be easy, with proof, he should be able to convince her to keep quiet as well.
He sighed knowing what he had to do and was about to head over to the door. "Star!" He heard faintly before his head shot up and he looked to the window where he heard the sound. "Star." He couldn't believe his eyes as he walked over.
"Staraptor?" He says reaching the window.
"Staraptor!" The Pokemon repeated back to him as he couldn't deny what he was seeing or hearing.
He finally got to see another one of his Pokemon once again and he couldn't be any more happy, but unfortunately, it wasn't the best time to celebrate as he opened the window. "I'm so glad to see you buddy, I really am." He says as he hugs the flying Pokemon. "Listen, it's awesome to see you again, but I need you to keep yourself hidden." He whispered after separating.
"Star?"
"Look, this is gonna be hard to explain but to put it shortly, Pokemon don't exist in this world." He explains.
"Star." The Pokemon then showed his Pokeball in one of his talons which made the boy relieved.
"Okay, good. Let's get caught up in a better place, buddy." Ash then pets his head before taking the ball. "Return for now." He then puts him back in the ball before attaching it next to Greninja's ball on his belt, then after that, he heads for the door.
Team RWBY were currently walking down the halls chatting with each other about what they were gonna do for the day. "It's really fun, we should head down to the library and play it." Ruby says skipping around her team with glee.
"I'm not exactly the best at these, 'board games'. I don't know about playing them anymore." Weiss says showing annoyance.
"C'mon, Weiss. You can't just give up after 'one' game. So you pretty much sucked at the last one, either way not like you're gonna do bad at 'every' board game." Yang says as the white-haired girl looked at her annoyed.
"I mean, she does got a point. Maybe you didn't do well last game, but this time could be your redemption." Ruby says as Ash walks out of his dorm. "Besides, Blake didn't do too well either, you two could both come back from this." She then says.
"Yeah, ain't that right, Blake?" Yang says as Blake didn't answer and didn't appear to be listening. "Blake?"
"Huh? What were we talking about again?" Blake answered as they stopped.
"Oh, come on. I was talking about-" The blonde haired girl was saying before…
"Hey, Weiss, Weiss, let's get caught up a bit, shall we?" Ash says pulling the white-haired girl forward until they were a good distance from her team.
"What are you-?" She was about to say before he shushed her.
"It's important, I need to tell you." He whispered as he put his arm around her, which she blushed from at first.
She looked at her team for a moment, then did the same. "What? What's going on?" She then whispered.
"It's about my Pokemon. Firstly, I wanna say that one of them has shown up at my dorm window and now I have another one." He tells her as she seemed surprised at first but told him to go on. "And I think I'm gonna have to tell Heather about myself." He then says as she looked shocked.
"Are you kidding me? You haven't known her for too long and you already wanna tell her?" She questions him.
"I mean, I pretty showed you when I just met you." Ash says before she gave him an annoyed stare. "And also, she's starting to catch on."
"How is she starting to catch on?"
"Well, they may have asked about me on our mission to find Blake and… I… I told the worst lie I could think of."
"WHAT?!" Weiss quietly yelled before she checked her team. "You can't be serious. I cannot believe you messed that up."
As they were talking the rest of her team looked at her. "What are they saying?" Ruby says curious.
"I don't know I can't uncover my ears to listen. What do you think they're talking about?" Blake says, also getting curious.
"That's what I wanna know. Why aren't they telling us?" The red-hooded girl says getting anxious. "Yang, what do you think they're saying?" She went to her sister.
"Don't know, but I think I might have some idea." Yang says as she is smirking.
"Weiss, we needed to tell someone at some point of time." Ash tells his friend.
"Fine, fine. Just… try NOT to get caught." Weiss whispered back to him.
"So, whatcha talking about?" Yang then interrupted.
"Nothing! Nothing! Just getting caught up on a few things." The boy says as they both turn to them. "Well, should probably get going." He then says as he turns. "Meet me outside the cafeteria. By yourself. No one else." He then quickly whispers to the white-haired girl.
"Right." She whispered back as he ran off.
"And here I thought you said you two weren't a thing." Yang says teasingly.
"SHUT UP!" Weiss retaliated.
(Timeskip)
Speaking of Heather, she was currently in one of the classrooms which was empty going over her notes that she had been taking over the school year. "Psst!" She was so focused that she didn't seem to hear anything. "Hey!" She still didn't acknowledge any sound. "Heather!" She only tilted her head slightly as she looked towards the door with a monotone expression.
Ash was standing just in the middle of the doorway as he nudged his head in the direction of the cafeteria. Knowing that she saw him he gestured to her to come with him. She only stared at him for a moment before sighing as she closed her notebook and put it away before getting up and following him. When they got to the cafeteria, she stopped him before they entered.
"Before you ask anything, can we at least get some food first?" Ash asked before she could say anything.
Heather just groaned but complied as they both went to get food. The cap-wearer had decided to get three trays which confused her at first, but she believed that he could've just been getting trays for the rest of the team and went with it. He then spotted Weiss making her way towards them and gestured over to the bush as she nodded and went in to get food as he took his teammate to the bush to hide in.
"Okay, we've got food, and no one should be able to see us. You gonna start talking now, Cap-Head?" Heather then asks, clearly annoyed.
"Yes, I'm going to explain. But you gotta promise that no one else is told about this, okay?" Ash asked her back.
"Fine. I won't tell anyone." She then says, still annoyed.
"Alright, but you won't exactly believe me at first." He then states.
"Just get it over with!"
"Just tell her, Ash." Weiss says as she arrives.
"Right, so… here we go." He then was ready to tell her.
(Timeskip)
"And that's about it." Ash had finished explaining an abridged version of what happened while Weiss helped a bit and they looked at his teammate expecting something that had to do with disbelief.
Heather was giving them a look that resembled so as her eyes were widened with a raised eyebrow. "Are you f***ing with me right now?" She then asked.
"What?"
"Are you f***ing with me? Cause none of what you just told me makes any sense." She then tells him.
"Told you she wasn't gonna believe it." Weiss then chimed in.
"Well, it was worth a shot." Ash says.
"You. Cannot. Be serious. Let me rephrase that… 'Neither' of you can be serious right now." Heather then says not believing a word they said.
"Look, I know it sounds unreal, but you gotta trust us." The boy tried to tell her.
"You kidding me?" She then stands up. "You expect me to believe-!" She starts going off as Ash tries to shush her. "-that you came from this 'magical wonderland' full of these superpowered animals called Poke-!" He grabbed her by the mouth and pulled her back down to avoid anyone who might've seen her.
"Shut up!" Both Ash and Weiss quietly yelled at her.
With that, Heather looked behind her and back to them. "Wait, you're actually serious?" She then asks somewhat shocked.
"Yes, and we can't just let you go around telling people." The white-haired girl tells her.
"You clearly don't believe me, I know. But at the very least, let me-" The cap-wearer reached for his belt.
"Okay, okay. How about we head the medical wing, and call an ambulance down here, so we can get this sorted out?" The light brown-haired girl suggested.
"Heather, we are not crazy. Look, remember this." Ash pulled out two Pokeballs.
"Yeah, the 'souvenir' you picked up on your way here. What are they really?" She then states.
The boy looked towards Weiss, and she just nodded. "Okay, don't freak out at what you're about to see." He tells her before using his fingers to push the buttons on both balls, making them grow in size which caught Heather off guard at first. "Alright… Greninja, Staraptor, come on out." He then threw the balls into the air.
With that said, the balls burst open and the two Pokemon came out of their balls making their cries before he shushed them and they went quiet. Then the two Pokemon looked at Weiss who looked amazed, Heather who looked shocked to say the least, then to each other.
"O-oh, right. I forgot you two haven't met. Staraptor, this is Greninja, this is Weiss, and this is Heather. Greninja, this is Staraptor and Heather." Ash then introduced the two to each of them.
The two Pokemon greeted each other before Staraptor turned to the white-haired girl who waved, then the two Pokemon looked towards the light-brown haired girl to greet her. "... H-h-hi." She says shocked as she puts her hand up.
"Okay you guys, eat up." The boy then puts the two extra trays in front of them and they start to chow down.
"O-oh… my god. You are not f***ing crazy." Heather then says not knowing what to say.
"Yep, and guess what? I just found Staraptor not too long before showing you." Ash tells her.
"I-I just…" She started to say before inhaling. "You have had these things with you, you turned out to be this out-of-world person who was sent here to fight off evil, all this and… wow. You were right. I didn't believe you at first." She then says.
"Yeah, thing is, I can't tell anyone about this. If anyone finds out-" He was about to say.
"Got it." Heather just suddenly.
"... Really?" He asked, confused.
"Yeah, it's probably some cliche thing like, 'Oh I don't want the world to freak out when hearing about out-of-world creatures existing' or some other shit like that. Am I right?" She then asks.
"Well…" Ash was trying to think of what to say.
"I-it doesn't really matter what his reason is. The point is, now that you know this, you need to promise not to tell anyone." Weiss then says.
"Well, that's a promise then. Anyone else know about this?" Heather asks.
"As far as I know, it's just us three." The cap-wearer states.
"Then I can't promise they won't find out." She says back to him. "Look, as freaked out as I am, I am gonna eat while I still have the chance, get through the rest of the day and then probably head back to my dorm to possibly scream into my pillow while falling asleep hoping this will be a dream." She states as she picks up her tray and proceeds to leave.
"Okay, fine. Just remember not to tell anyone." Ash tells her.
"Right, but you know that you can't keep this hidden forever, Cap-Head." She tells him as she turned to him. "If those other two are smart enough, they'll find out eventually." She tells him as she continued to head back to the cafeteria.
The boy just sighed as he put a hand on his face. "Well, that went better than expected. Least there won't be tension between our team now." He says relieved.
"Cap-Head?" Weiss asks with the raise of a brow.
"It's a thing that she started calling me. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the only one she called names." He explains to her. "Let's just get to eating now that that's over with." He told her as they then began eating their lunch.
(Timeskip)
After they were finished eating, Ash was explaining the situation to Staraptor while also introducing him to Greninja and Weiss. Staraptor was happy to meet his new friends, but he was especially happy to see Ash alive, especially after everyone thought he was dead in his world. Weiss was watching the boy speak to his Pokemon like a long lost friend and how they bonded with one another, and felt happy for them.
"It's good to know that I'm gonna see you all again." Ash says as the white-haired female gasped.
"Oh, I was supposed to meet my team in the library." Weiss then states with her hand on her face.
"For what?" He says, curious.
"They said they had a game that they want to play…" She then says as she got up and was about to walk away. "... That I'm really not looking forward to playing." She then cringes at the thought.
"Can't be that bad. Who knows, you could be good at it." Ash says as he gets up. "Come back you guys." He then says returning his pokemon to their balls.
"So, who do you think will be next?" Weiss asks him as they start to leave.
"Who knows? I didn't think I'd have to tell Heather so soon. Though, it's probably best if I get to telling everyone else on my team about my secret so that we can avoid any further trust issues." He explains to her. "Yeah, it's most likely gonna be a hassle."
"I'm not gonna lie, you're probably not wrong on that." She then states agreeing.
(Library)
When they made it to the library, they found the three members of RWBY at one of the tables with the sisters setting up the game they had brought. Ash was about leave, but saw that Weiss had stopped moving. He saw her staring at her team with a concerning look on her face which brought him to head back to her.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, getting her attention.
"I don't know. I'm a little worried about how they'll react if I tell them." She says rubbing her head.
"Well… yeah I can understand."
"I-it's not them I'm worried about, it's just their reaction."
"... Hmm, nah, still counts as being worried for them."
"No it doesn't." Weiss retorts again as the boy chuckles a bit. "And what is so funny?" She asked annoyed.
"N-nothing." Ash states before stepping closer to her. "I'm sure one day they'll understand." He says giving her a smile which caused a slight shade of red on her face.
She just looked away. "W-well…" She says before he pats her on the back.
"Just go and have fun with them and we'll talk about telling them later. Okay?" He then asks as he got a nod for a response.
He smiled before beginning to leave. He decided to turn back around to see her heading over to her team, and sighed hoping that he would see Pikachu once again. He then was about to start moving again… then he accidently bumped into something as he stumbled back a bit.
"Sorry, about that." He heard as he adjusted his cap.
"It's okay. I should have watched where-uh…" He was about to finish before he saw who he had bumped into. "Shard?"
"Hey, Ash! How are you doing?" Shard says as he throws his arm around the boy. "Haven't seen ya all day man. Where were ya?" He then asks.
This caused the boy to become mentally nervous as he didn't know what to tell him. "S-sorry about that. I uh… uh was getting some catch-up work done." He then tells him while rubbing his head.
"Catch-up work? What are you talking about? I don't remember getting work we had to make up for." The fox boy says confused.
"Well, not really any work to make up for. It was more or less studying for science class."
"Oh, gotcha. I won't tell Heather."
'Thank god I'm actually bad at science." Ash then thought to himself as he mentally sighed.
"So, whatcha doing here?" Shard then asks as he grabs a book from a nearby shelf.
"Well… Weiss told me she and her team were gonna be playing a board game so I was coming to see them." The cap-wearer says before they heard yelling coming from the two sisters of the team.
"Why did it look like you were about to leave then?" The fox boy asks with an eyebrow raised.
"I-I wasn't leaving, I was just…" As the boy was thinking he looked towards the shelves and spotted a manga book titled Two Piece. "Looking for something to read is all." He then says grabbing the manga.
"Ah, alright." Was the response he got before he heard Yang yell 'YOU FIEND!' which caused them to look towards the team. "By the way, nice choice. I like Two Piece." He then says walking by with a pat on the shoulder.
Ash looked at him before turning back to the book he picked out. The cover showed characters that were dressed as pirates which looked interesting. He looked back at the shelf and found another manga titled Dualsona then shrugged before grabbing that book as well.
(Cafeteria)
"Wooh! I am full, they actually have some good food for once." Derek says patting his stomach as him and Heather walk out of the cafeteria.
"Meh, I've had better." She tells him before they heard a vibrating noise.
Derek checked his pockets and took out his scroll and scoffed. "That asshole." He says ignoring the call.
"I don't know how you put up with him. Or… been putting up with him, anyway." Heather says as they continue walking.
"I just… I don't understand what is wrong with him. Not even a B+ is okay with him, cause in his words: 'If it's not an A, it's a failure!'. You know what?" The gray haired boy says as he switches on his scroll's camera before putting up his middle finger, taking a picture of it. "See how he likes this."
"Are you sure that's the best idea?" She asks, a little concerned.
"It'll probably bite me in the ass later, but I don't care." He then says sending the text with the picture he took as he went in front of her.
She looked at him and seemed a bit worried before shaking her head slightly. "Well, I won't argue."
Of course Heather knew about how Derek's dad was with him since they were friends for a long time, but as far as she knew, it wasn't physical abuse so she couldn't do much. But while she didn't show it, she did care and worry about him before they stopped seeing each other.
(Library)
"If I roll a seven or higher, Fatal Feathers will slice your fleet in two!" Yang then says smugly.
"Not so fast! If you roll a six or lower, it will turn on your own forces and you'll end up destroying yourself!" Ruby then says leaning over the table.
"That's a risk I'm willing to take." The blonde then says smiling.
"Glad I didn't miss anything, looks like the fun's starting." Shard says walking over to their table, catching their attention while also noticing Team JNPR at another table.
"Oh, hey Shard. You're just in time to see me wipe the floor with Ruby." Yang says with confidence.
"Pssh, with confidence like that will be your downfall!" Ruby then says pointing over at her sister.
"We'll see about that." The blonde then says as she rolls the dice… but unfortunately lands on a five. "WHAT?!"
"YES! Score one for Ruby!" The little red-hooded girl says, standing atop of her chair.
"Aw, MAN! How could I be foiled by my own plan?!" Yang says, pretending to be annoyed. "My rewards were gonna be doubled this round too." She then says.
"With your forces now down-" Ruby was starting to go on as Shard decided to go and visit JNPR's table.
"So… how are you guys doing?" The fox boy asks the team while ignoring the conflict going on in the background.
"Well, aside from not getting much in terms of quiet, pretty good." Ren says slightly glaring at the team at the other table as he flipped a page onto the head of a snoring Nora.
"Yeah, it's pretty nice here." Jaune says before Pyrrha cleared her throat and grabbed the comic book he was reading replacing it with a hardcover book for studying.
"Indeed. Although, it is a bit distracting." Pyrrha says as the blonde boy got hit with a game piece from the other team.
"Alrighty then." Shard says not knowing what else to say before he looked at Nora. "Is she okay?"
"It's a bit of a long story. It mostly has to do with sugary snacks." Jaune explained.
"Ah… I see." The fox boy says understanding before they heard laughter.
"Yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces as they pillage your homes-" Weiss was saying loud enough for them to hear.
"How were they when you arrived?" Ren then asks as the Ice Queen continued.
"Well, Ruby and Yang were dramatic when I got there, Yang used a move that ended up backfiring on her, and now I think their drama is starting to rub onto Weiss… yep, pretty normal." Shard states before looking back to the other team.
"-as you bow down to your new empress." Weiss then finished her dramatic dialogue.
"Dare I even ask?" She jumped when she heard Ash and turned to see him standing right next to her. "Hey." He then says raising his hand.
"Sup, I just got wrecked." Yang says with her head in her hand.
"Hello." Ruby then says with a cheeky smile.
"Hi again, Ash." Weiss then says, straightening herself.
And Blake didn't even budge as it looked like she was thinking about something. "Blake?" Yang says getting her attention with a nudge.
"Huh? Wha-what am I doing again?" The cat girl finally spoke up as the fox boy was coming back.
"Well, for one: Ash and Shard were here and you kinda ignored them, and two: your turn is coming after Weiss'. Three: you're playing a Vale trying to conquer Remnant." The blonde tells her again.
"Uh… right." Blake then says as she holds her cards up-right.
"So, who's winning?" Ash says appearing next to Ruby.
"Well, it would seem that-" Weiss was about to say before she realized that there were two Ash's in the library. "What the-?"
"Peek-a-boo!" The Ash next to her then changes to Derek as she did a little squeal jumping back slightly. "Hehe, never gets old." The gray-haired boy laughed.
"Seriously?" The white-haired girl then says annoyed.
"I mean, it's kinda funny." Shard chuckled a bit as Yang was trying to hold back her laughter.
"If by funny, you mean annoying sometimes, then yes." Heather says as she arrives as well standing on the other side of Ruby.
"Sorry, just my thing sometimes." Derek says, still laughing a bit.
"Well, can you not?" Weiss says, still annoyed.
"You haven't won yet, Weiss. I shall rise up and conquer you where you least expect it." Ruby then says, still in character.
"Twenty dollars says Ruby wins this." The gray-haired boy says to his leader.
"Eh, I think Yang can make a comeback from this." Shard states looking over to the blonde. "She'll be back in the game before you know it." He then says before winking towards her.
Yang smiled seeing him do so. "I'm not doing any bets here. But I'll be rootin' for ya Weiss." Ash says, as said white-hair girl smiled as well.
"Get ready to pay up." Derek says with a smug smirk.
"We'll see about that." Shard then says lightly punching the gray-haired boy.
"Hey, can I get in the next game?" Jaune says as he arrives at the group.
"This game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt you possess." The white-haired girl tells him.
"Uh, didn't you attack your own navel fleet two turns ago?" Yang then chimes in as the orange-haired boy snorted a bit which got him a glare from who she was talking about.
"Bring it on then. I'll have you know that I'm a natural born leader." Jaune states once again.
"Somehow I highly doubt that." Heather states with her hand on her hip.
"I can totally do that. Come on, let me play your hand for a turn." The blonde-boy asks with his hands together.
"Not happening!" She then says stepping away from him.
"Oh come on, you've trusted me with more important things like how Blake is a f-" Jaune was about to say before Prryha covered his mouth.
"Fun loving person that we all care about." She says as the boy chuckled while said girl was glaring at him.
"Yeah… that… ladies, enjoy your battle. Men, enjoy your betting." He then says bowing to both.
"Sup, losers." A blonde shirt-unbuttoned boy with monkey tails says while holding a piece sign as he arrived with a blue-haired boy.
"Uh, who are you?" Derek says confused
"That's Sun Wukong. He was with Blake when she ran off." Ruby tells him.
"Oh, right. Wassup?"
"Ruby, Yang, Blake, Derek, Shard, boy who's name I forgot-" Sun says as the last one he pointed to was Ash before- "-and Ice Queen." he then pointed towards Weiss.
"Everytime." Weiss says as she dropped her cards on the table annoyed.
"Never got to introduce you to my friend." Sun then says gesturing towards the blue-haired boy next to him.
"Aren't libraries for reading?" Said boy stated.
"THANK YOU!" Ren yelled over.
"PANCAKES!" Nora shouted waking up.
"Don't be a nerd." Monkey boy tells his friend.
"Sh, sh, hey, hey! Intellectual, okay? Thank you." The goggle-wearer then tells him. "And, I am Neptune. Nice to meet you." He states.
"Where from?" Weiss asked.
"Haven, and I don't believe I got your name, Snow Angel." Neptune says as he walks over attempting to be flirty with her.
"It's Weiss." She tells him while Ash was starting to look uncomfortable.
"Never thought you'd be into board games. Ya winning?" Sun asks Blake.
"Actually, I think I'm done playing. See ya guys around." The black-haired girl says as she got up and leaves.
"Is she okay?" Ash asks, concerned as all he got was a shrug.
"Woman." Nora made a remark as everyone looked at her. "What?"
(Later that day)
Team SHAD were exiting the library into campus on their way to their dorm. Derek looked disappointed, Shard had a smug look on his face, Heather had her monotone expression, and Ash left while having something on his mind.
"I can't believe she actually managed to make a comeback! Last time I'm making any bets." Derek says as he pouts.
"Speak for yourself. Easiest twenty bucks I've ever made." Shard says holding up the money he got from their bet.
"So, about these… Pokemon… is there like gonna be anymore of these things that'll pop up." Heather asks knowing the other two were occupied with their own conversation.
"Well, I was told that they would find a way to transfer mine over to Remnant, but so far Starraptor is the first one that I've found. Hopefully though, there should be more of them coming here but it's gonna be weird having them here in a world without Pokemon." Ash explained to her.
"How many do you have exactly?" She asked him again as he tried to think.
"I've pretty much lost count, but I doubt that I'll have all of them. If anything, I'll probably be given about six or so. Maybe a little more if possible." He tells her again.
"Dang, I underestimated you… a little." She says before adding the last line. "Guess we're gonna have to wait and find out." She then says as they finished talking.
The boy sighed as he looked towards his leader and other teammate. While he did tell Weiss that one day her team might understand, but then again, he was worried about telling the rest of his own team. Since Starraptor had appeared, he got worried as to what could happen if they saw one of his Pokemon without him. Then he started to get worried about what might happen to his other Pokemon since the world is filled with worries and they could potentially see them as a threat.
He shook the thoughts from his mind, not wanting to think any further. He then accidently bumped his shoulder into someone as he stumbled. "Dude." He heard as he stood up straight.
"Sorry about that." Ash says as he adjusted his cap to see he bumped into a dark gray-haired boy.
"You should really watch where you're going." A green-haired dark-skinned girl tells him as a girl with twin-tailed black hair and another with her hair down looks at him.
"Yeah, my mind was just kinda wondering." He told them.
"Oh, are you guys new here? Don't think I've seen you before." Shard says as the rest of his team turned around as well.
"Actually, visiting from Haven. For the festival." The one with her hair down tells them.
"Okay, but exchange students have their own dormitory. You know that right?" Heather tells them.
"Guess we're a bit lost." The dark-gray haired boy tells them.
"Nothing new, you should be headed about…" Shard says as he looks around campus. "Just east from here and you should find your building." He tells them while pointing in said direction.
"Thanks for the help. I guess we'll be seeing you." The girl with long hair says as she and her team left.
"Alright, have fun." Derek says with a wave as the boy on their team held his hand up. "Well, that was nice." He says before they continued back to their dorm.
"Yeah, feels kinda good to meet some more nice people. Wonder what they can do?" Shard says as he put his hand on his chin. "What do you think A-" He was about to see but saw that one of his teammates was not with them as he turned to see the cap-wearer hadn't moved. "Ash?!"
"Uh, coming." He says catching up. "Sorry, just had something on my mind."
"About what exactly?"
"It's a little complicated to explain."
"Well, maybe we can talk about it later. I'm ready to lay down." Derek says as he stretches and continues walking.
"I am feeling a bit sluggish myself. After that workout I could use a nap." Shard then says as he continues walking as well.
Heather looked at the boy before shrugging as she continued walking as well. Ash looked back to where the team was headed, having a bad feeling growing in him from just their presence alone. He didn't understand, but for some reason, he was getting bad vibes from the four they met. He decided that it probably wasn't the best time and followed his team to their dorm as he adjusted his backpack straps.
But, for some reason he couldn't get the thought out of his mind.
To be continued…
Okay, finally finished with this chapter. Thank you guys all for reading and I hope you enjoyed it. Trying to come up with a story chapter from scratch is really, really hard. Also, I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately, but with what is happening I need to do a lot of stocking up on supplies for you-know-what.
Why I was taking so long to post before this world-wide disaster was because I had other things to do being that I don't spend my entire life on writing fanfictions. I do more than just write fanfictions, I'm working on my own chapters for my own original stories I want people to read and I'm not always gonna be on fanfiction posting stuff.
On that, thank you all for reading and stay tuned.
