Chapter 1: The curse

Hello there, My name is Selena, twin sister to Prince Adam. I was born 2 minutes before Adam was born. Our father didn't like me at the beginning and he only liked Adam once he was born. Our father said that Adam is the Heir and I was the spare. Our mother how ever was kind, caring and loving. Our mother taught me and Adam to be nice to others and you'll get treated the same way with respect. I took that to heart. I would spend time with our mother and the staff around the castle. One day, our mother passed away and our father only took Adam to teach him how to rule a kingdom. Adam and I didn't get time to grief for our mother nor play with each other. I somehow kept the staff happy by hanging out with them and having fun. When me and Adam turned 11, I spent my birthday with the staff and joking around. I was happy again and showing respect to the staff. Mrs. Potts became a mother figure to me and shows me that I don't have to be afraid of my father all the time.

Adam came to get me and I knew he wasn't the same after our father made Adam Like him. Adam didn't have love in his heart, He didn't show respect, and he wasn't the same little brother I knew and Loved. 3 days after our 11th birthday, our father finally kicked the bucket and died from heart failure. Adam became king at a young age and I was standing on the side. I didn't like where this is going. Adam threw a party a few days after the funeral. I had to be there and not with the staff. I hate it when Adam demanded that I have to be there. I wore a beautiful blue and black floor length dress that is strapless. I wore matching heels and a crown. I met everyone that could come. It was storming out and an old bagger woman came and asked for shelter from my brother and myself. Adam didn't want her here and I came over and showed the old lady respect and said that she can stay with us for the night.

Adam was mad at what I did and He said that the old lady can't stay. The old lady showed her true self as the Enchantress and she cursed Adam to be the beast and she told him that he had to have to love him in his beast form and he had to return that love. If he couldn't find love for his 21st birthday, He would remain a beast. As for me, I was taken to the underworld where Hades was. I had to fall in love with him before my 21st birthday. The Enchantress told me that in return for showing her respect, I would become immortal. For the first 2 years, I got to know Hades and I showed him respect. I didn't fear him when he asked why I had to share a curse with someone. I told him that my brother Adam was turned into a beast and he had to find someone to love. He had to show love to the same someone that shows him love. After 5 years, I was 18 years old and both me and Hades had fallen in love. When we confessed our feelings to each other and kissed. My curse was lifted and I was gifted with immortality. I became Queen of the underworld and I would help Hades calm down and I always wondered how my brother was doing.

After Adam's curse have been lifted, Hades and myself came to the castle where I used to live in and reunited with my brother and Belle. Belle was nice, caring and kind. I was happy with Adam's choice. Adam wasn't happy with my choice. I stayed by Hades side through the party for Hades, myself, Belle and Adam. Everyone in the kingdom understood why the Enchantress choose Hades for me to help him feel love. Adam knew I changed from my 11 year old self to my 21 year old self who held the title Queen of the underworld. Belle and myself got to know each other and she filled me in about Adam and how he was under the curse. I told Adam that he has a keeper and that I liked her. Adam blushed when I said that. A few weeks later, Adam and Belle got married and they planned on uniting all kingdoms under 1 king and queen. He called it the united states of Auradon. Adam invited me and Hades to a family dinner between himself, Belle, Hades and myself. I agreed and hoped that Adam wouldn't do anything to hurt me in some way. When dinner time came, we sat down and Adam had guards arrest Hades and take Hades to the isle of the lost.

I never had the chance to say goodbye to Hades, I turn to look at Adam as tears streamed down my cheeks. When Belle came into the dining room and noticed something was wrong and she asked Adam where Hades was. Adam didn't answer Belle and He didn't want me to be upset more. When Belle saw me in tears, She knew that Adam did something. So she asked me what happened.

"Wanna know what happened, Adam here decided to arrest my boyfriend and have him shipped to the isle of the lost. He never even let me say goodbye." I said. "I hate you Adam, for causing me to have a broken heart."

"Adam. How could you. You know what you did. You broken your sisters heart. She'll never forgive you." She said.

"You're just like father. Cold and Heartless towards me, your own sister!" I yelled at him.

For sometimes, I never talked to Adam. I came to visit Belle and talk to her. Belle felt bad for me and she knows what I was feeling when her father was taken away from her and she never had the chance to say goodbye. So when I came to visit again, Belle told me that she's expecting and I was going to be aunt. I told her congrats. She I missed Hades everyday. She told me that I'll see Hades again. After 9 months, I met Ben and I noticed how cute he was. Belle let me hold Ben and I smiled as he held my finger. I couldn't be happier. I was holding my nephew. I told Belle I would visit at any time and take Ben off her hands if she needs help. Belle smiled at what I said. I gave Ben to Adam and I didn't want to say anything to Adam. I still didn't forgive him for what he did. I said I had to go because I was the Queen of the underworld and I have to run it since it's missing it's king. I glared at Adam when I said that. He felt scared when I gave him a hateful glare.

I left to run the underworld and doing my duties as it's queen. One of my hand maidens came with a letter. I told her to read it for me and she did. She said that Belle is coming with Ben for a visit. I told her to a letter saying that I would meet them at the gate of the underworld. She nodded and left to go send the letter to Belle. I continued with running the Underworld.
