"Lily and Hermione are walking down a corridor in Hogwarts on their way to their next lesson which was potions with Snape.

"So, you and Draco?" Hermione asked Lily "what about Draco and I?"

"You know what's going on, I know what happened last year wasn't good but I'm guessing your still seeing him"

"I don't know to be honest; I want to talk to him but he avoids me, he hasn't spoken to me since I told him I chose Harry."

"well just so you know there are plenty more fish in the sea"

"what is that supposed to mean?"

"I mean Colin Creedy, I heard he's been meaning on asking him out"

Lily stopped in her tracks "you what"

Hermione giggled "come on Lily people are trying to get passed" Lily started moving again "Colin Creedy he's not bad look maybe I could give him a shot then" Hermione and Lily started giggling until someone barged Lily's shoulder nearly throwing her to the floor "HEY" Lily and Hermione shouted together until they both looked and saw "Draco" Lily spoke breathless, he looked back at her over his shoulder with a sad expression.

I'll catch with you later" Lily said to Hermione

Hermione watched Lily walk after Draco towards the boy's bathroom

As Lily followed Draco she got stopped by Harry "Lil where are you going?" Lily didn't say anything just kept straying towards the boy's bathroom, Harry took a deep breath "you know it was him right?" Lily looked at Harry confused "Draco was the one who put the curse on Katie Bell" Lily walked away from Harry.

Lily dropped her bag at the front of the side of the wall of the boys bathroom that she followed Draco into, as she turned the corner she saw Draco staring at himself in the mirror

"So is it true?" Draco spun around not expecting anyone to had follow him "it was you then"

"Lily let me explain"

"explain what" Lily started walking towards him arms crossed "that you have been acting differently, that you've been ignoring me for about a year now, that you never came and spoke to me or comfort me about my dads death or no you are going to explain that it was you who put the curse on Katie Bell"

"she my friend Draco"

"I know Lil"

Draco stood in front of her "the necklace wasn't meant for Katie, she wasn't the person I was supposed to give it to"

"then who"

Draco just stared at her as he started rubbing her arms up and down in a comforting way, Lily stared at him until it clicked.

Lily throw her arms in the air making him stop touching her "ME!"

"Lil"

"no don't you dare Lil me, don't you dare, you were supposed to hex me and make me carry the necklace" Draco ran his hand through his hair "im sorry Lil but when you didn't turn up to meet Katie and Jane I couldn't wait any longer" " no don't you dare blame me for not going to the three broomsticks so that's why you gave her the necklace you shouldn't of been doing any of it"

"I'VE BEEN CHOSEN!"

"wha" Lily stood there in shock as Draco pulled up his sleeve and showed her his mark

"I have to do this, or he'll kill me"

"Lily don't".

Lily walked out the bathroom picking up her bag on her way out.

Throwing her phone across the room, Lily takes a deep breath, lays her head back on her pillow, and lets the tears fall.

"The floorboard creaking woke Lily up with a start she listened longer to hear footsteps coming towards her bed, Opening one eye she peaks into the darkness to see bright white locks of hair and a face pale as ice.

"Draco"

With only the light of their wands and the moon peeking through her curtains, there he sat at the end of her bed the boy she loved and lost, she stared at him as he yanked the roots of his hair with tears stains on his cheeks.

"I'm so sorry" Draco Whispers

Draco stood up and started pacing "Potter you believe Potter you always believe him over me the boy who nearly killed me in the boy's bathroom." "yes, Draco I do harry told me and I believe him because why would he lie to me"

He stared at me ran his hand through his hair one last time and evaporated leaving me with two words "I'm sorry"
