"Come on, let's go see Brice." We skipped over to Brice's room, hoping to see her joyful face before lunch. We opened the patterned brown door identical to mine to find Brice shaking inside. I noticed that shaking. It's exactly like Lucy's when there's a rebel attack.

"Hey, hey, Brice calm down. I want you to breathe in for 3 seconds, hold your breathe for one, and exhale for 3.

"America, what the hell is happening to Brice?", Maxon asked, worry building up in his voice.

"She's having a panic attack. Lucy had these too, except when there were rebel attacks. Probably because of the stress of coming to the palace and everything. It's a big adjustment.

"Ok, can you pick her up and lay her flat on the bed? It'll take some time but we should be able to calm her down. We can't even take her to the hospital wing." Maxon did as I said as I ran over to the other side of the bed to try and console Brice. She calmed down in a few hours, and we had Aspen stand guard of her room, so he could check on her every few hours.

... ... ...

"Ok, so far, we have taken the money out of the budget for the New Asian war since it's over. The eights have all merged with the sevens, and we have yet to see a response from the southern rebels. We just have to record all of the palace attacks and see if there's a pattern", Sir Burton explained.

"Ok, then everything seems to be going fine", Maxon declared.

"Yes, and the building has also started on the new schools. But, the press is still debating on the idea of removing castes. Most of their opinions are from the upper castes, so most of their opinions are bad. We need to somehow sway the public's opinion in our favor.

"Queen America, what if we call someone of the lower castes to be on our Friday Report? Do you have any old friends with a very moving story that would be willing to come to the palace?"

"I'm not sure, I didn't have very many friends since I was homeschooled. We could call Officer Ledger if that's ok with you Maxon." Maxon snapped back into the real world.

"Yes, yeah, that's ok by me", he said in a startled voice.

"Ok, advisors, please have someone notify Officer Ledger about him speaking on the Iléa capital report on Friday. Meeting adjourned", I declared. The advisors filled out with straight faces. Come on, people. You're humans, show a little emotion. Maxon and I left the meeting room and went straight to our rooms. We were too tired to do anything else. We got changed and laid down in bed.

"Maxon, you think I haven't noticed. You've been out of it ever since that advisor meeting." I shifted to face him and propped my head on top of my elbows.

"What happened?"

"Nothing, it's just Brice is my sister, and seeing how you've taken care of her is amazing. Are we ready?", he asked. His tone was serious as if he'd been thinking about it all day.

"If you're ready, I am too. But who knows, it's all about when I get pregnant", I assured him

I hugged Maxon as tight as I could and went to sleep excited about this new chapter of our lives that we wanted to start.
