Chapter 12
CASES ARE BEAUTIFUL FRAME, CRIMINAL HATRED, MONSTER'S LEGACY. I WILL SKIP EPISODES 14-16, AMANDA'S SISTER APPEARING TO CAUSE TROUBLE IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I WILL TOUCH ON UNDERCOVER BLUE, BUT HAS TO HAVE CHANGES SINCE OLIVIA AND CASSIDY ARE NOT TOGETHER. AFTER THAT I WILL JUMP TO BORN PSYCHOPATH. I WILL MENTION GIRL DISHONORED AND TRAUMATIC WOUND.
They returned to New York, tanned, relaxed, and engaged. The morning they returned to work Amanda asked, "Liv what is the Captain going to say. He has to notify 1PP. What if they make me transfer?" Olivia told her not to worry, "I talked to Cragen a long time ago, when I started to have feelings for you. 1PP is already aware of our relationship and as long as we stay professional, we don't have any concerns."
When they walked in the entire squad cheered. Nick hugged them both, "You guys look good!" Fin spun around in his chair, "Yeah whatever! I'm jealous." Cragen and Munch smiled, "We're glad your back!" Cragen was the only person who noticed the ring. "Do you two have something to share?" He asked holding Olivia's hand up for everyone to see. Amanda smiled, "She said yes!" Olivia was shocked, "Wait they all knew?" Fin finally stood up to hug them and say congratulations, "Yeah Liv, you were the only one in the dark." Olivia shook her head, "You just asked me about Cragen." Amanda smirked, "I couldn't blow my cover." Olivia sat at her desk and saw Fin and Nick's pile of files, "Guys what did we miss?"
Fin and Nick filled them in on the cases. One caused big problems with another DA, rape victim and her boyfriend. Fin spoke up, "You missed Barba and a tough Defense attorney going at it." Olivia shook her head, "Barba isn't like the other ADA's." Nick held up a file, "Bayard Ellis asked about you. Thought you might have put in your papers. He's never seen you take a vacation." Ellis was the DA that helped Olivia's brother get through his last mess. "He helped get Reggie Rhodes off of Death Row and maybe another trial. He's the real deal Liv."
Months went by and so did other cases. Just the life of SVU. Amanda and Olivia were looking at bridal magazines and making lists of things to take care of, "So Liv, I definitely want a fall wedding. I want it in that spot in Central Park and we can take pictures there right after. What do you think?" Olivia smiled, "I think it's perfect. You've changed so much Amanda. It looks good on you." Olivia was happy Amanda settled down and they were still planning a wedding. She thought about where they both were about a month ago.
FLASHBACK ABOUT A MONTH AGO
Cassidy was undercover again, but this time, he was accused of rape. It was a hell of a mess, and Cassidy ended up pulling Nick into the middle. Nick was undercover once a long time ago, 13 years to be exact.
During the case, Nick found out he had a son with the sister of a drug dealer he was trying to bring down. It caused big problems for his family and his wife left him.
Cassidy and Olivia had a thing years ago and although Olivia said it was just sex, when Amanda saw Olivia trying to help him with the case and him trying to kiss her, she went ballistic. "Keep your fucking hands off of her!" She yelled as she punched him and kicked him.
Olivia and Amanda had the first huge argument. Amanda was cursing and yelling, "Amanda I suggest you calm down and take a breath. I told you the truth about Cassidy, it was just sex for me, but we are friends." Amanda was fuming, "Yeah it looked like friends when he stuck his tongue down your throat." Olivia had it and she proceeded to snatch Amanda by her arm and smack her ass over and over, until Amanda stopped. "You really smacked me Liv? Take breath Liv, sure I'll do you one better. I'll take a walk."
Amanda left Olivia standing there slamming the door. When Amanda left, she went back to her old habits quickly. First she found herself at a bar drinking and then standing in front of an underground gambling club. She didn't want to go in and she knew it was the one thing that could tear her and Olivia apart. It was like a drug sucking her in whenever her life wasn't going well.
Every step she took closer to the door she thought about Liv and what she said. "Amanda, I care about you." She took more steps closer. "If you always do, what you have always done and things aren't working out, why not try something different?" Amanda had her hand on the door. "And if you even think of gambling again, I'm gonna spank your ass." Amanda laughed and turned around to go back to the one that loved her the most.
When she went back to their place, Olivia was worried and pissed and jumped up front the bed. "Amanda if you think I'm gonna live like this, you better think again. You either trust me or you don't and if you don't…" Amanda kissed Liv harder than she ever did. She pushed her until she fell back on the bed. "You smell like alcohol." And that did it.
Olivia jumped back up looking at the clock, "Have you been gambling?" Amanda was silent. "Amanda I swear…" Amanda looked up, "I went there, but I didn't. I swear I didn't. I couldn't." Amanda moved closer to Olivia, "I thought about everything you ever told me." She kissed Olivia's cheek, "You care about me." She kissed her other cheek, "Why keep doing the things that never work out." She kissed her lips, "If I gamble again, you would spank my ass. And I can't take anything more than what you did earlier." Olivia narrowed her eyes at her, and popped Amanda on her ass hard. "Owwww Liv! I said I didn't gamble." Olivia smirked and grabbed her by her shirt, "That was to finish from earlier for your badass temper tantrum."
Amanda knew she was wrong, "Liv, I'm sorry. I knew…I mean know…I trust you the most, please…" Olivia kissed her and put her out of her misery. She pushed Amanda on the bed and reached in her nightstand, pulling out the new strapless strap on, "I'm going to fuck you senseless Amanda Rollins." Amanda smiled, "That's my punishment." Olivia raised her eyebrow as she pushed it in giving them both a minute. She pushed in and pulled out a couple of times, then laughed as she turned it on, "I said I was going to fuck you senseless, but I didn't say you get to cum." Amanda bit the back of her hand as Olivia picked up a punishing pace." Olivia looked at Amanda's body covered in sweat, "I do love you Amanda, please don't doubt me again."
END OF FLASHBACK
"Earth to Liv." Olivia shook her head, "Sorry, what did you say?" Amanda repeated herself, "Where do you want to go for the honeymoon?" Olivia thought, "I've always wanted to see Paris."
They arrived at the precinct the next morning and Olivia was immediately put to work, "Liv, head to the hospital, we have a young girl transferred from school. It may be abuse, Nick will meet you there." When Olivia got there, she found out that the little girl, Ruby has new and old bruises. Her older brother Henry accused the nanny.
Fin and Amanda were sent to speak to the nanny and ended up with a completely different story. When they all got back to the squad room, the focus was less on the nanny and more on the brother. The nanny ends up telling them "Henry is a mean little boy. Ruby calls him The Monster."
Over the next week, they find out just how malicious Henry is. Ruby tells them the things he does to her. He cuts his mother with a knife, lights a fire in his apartment, drowns a neighbor's dog, and holds a lit boy in the building daycare hostage with a gun. Olivia looked at Nick, "Be careful."
As he walked into the empty room, Nick found the two of them in the play tunnels. Henry was holding the gun, "This is Sam. He doesn't talk much." Nick knelt down, and tried to talk to Henry, but he only wanted Nick's gun. "If I let you hold my gun, you need to let Sam go." Henry agreed and Olivia took Sam to safety. Amanda was worried about Nick, but was relieved to see Olivia come out with the little boy. Nick pulled out the cartridge and ejected the bullet, "Are you trying to trick me?" They traded guns and Henry shot Nick. He knew he had on a vest and it could only go off once. Nick had a hell of a bruise and Henry was sent to a secure facility for juveniles.
Nick was fine and the cases kept coming. They spent weeks on investigating a young woman who was raped while pledging a sorority. Then another few weeks on a gang rape during a public concert. The next case for the squad wouldn't be a rape, someone was going after one of them.
