The next couple days were awkward for Kyoko to say the least. People were still wondering about who the mysterious singer was. Audiences and reports were coming out claiming to know who the songstress was only for them to be refuted by vocal coaches and grainy camera footage. The Akatoki agency had released a statement stating that the girl was a childhood friend of Fuwa who he was just hanging out with. No mention of the girl's name or where she came from.

Eventually, Kyoko had to admit to her landlords that she was the girl on the video. The sheer surprise those two felt were quickly masked as they asked her questions about her singing experience. She was quick to tell them stories and to assure them that she was still very much focused on being an actress. She told them that the thing with Sho was just a one time thing for the sake of his parents. Taisho seemed satisfied with this but the Okami couldn't help but wonder. 'Why was this girl so quick to dismiss her talents? Surely being a good singer would have some benefits to her career.' Still they were quite happy that Kyoko-chan was doing what she loved. There were some concerns about her overworking herself but they were assured by both Kyoko and her glasses-wearing manager that they had it all figured out. If she had time to hang out with that nice Fuwa boy then there's nothing to worry about, It was only karaoke.

Kyoko was once again seeing the president in his office. This time Sawara-san was there alongside two other people, a middle aged man with glasses and an older woman with a chic bob cut.

"Have a seat, Mogami-kun. I'd like to introduce you to Director Nishino and one of our company's image consultants, Nanase Iwako."

"Konnichiwa. It's very nice to meet you."

Kyoko sits on the plush divan. This spacious office is decorated like a French Salon. Kyoko was especially happy to see the President dressed up like a french aristocrat complete with powdered wig. Oh to be a noble lady invited to a ball. Before she could disappear to La la land Sawara was quick to bring back her attention.

"Mogami-kun have you thought about what we talked about the other day?"

"Not really, I mean it was just karaoke. It will blow over soon." seriously, this girl.

"I highly doubt that Mogami-kun. This news coverage could be a serious advantage to your career. Not many idols these days can be in the public consciousness so easily."

"But Sachou. I'm an actress."

"An actress must use every tool in her arsenal to further her career. You wouldn't want to limit the kinds of roles you were able to take, would you?"

Thinking about the advice her admired Kuu-sensei gave her, Kyoko quickly shakes her head.

"No Sacho, I wouldn't."

"Very good. We'll have Nanase-san help with PR and guide you as you build your image to something more public facing. You might want to get on social media and post videos of you singing. Maybe have a karaoke trip with some of your friends."

The thought of doing karaoke with Moko-san filled Kyoko with glee. Maybe this singing thing wouldn't be so bad.

"Also," Lory continued, "Director Nishino here has some offers for you to audition for some small singing parts. You might have to re-arrange your schedule as we want you to have time for vocal exercise to keep your voice up to par."

"Hai Sachou. I understand."

"Good let's get started."

The next few hours were pretty intense for Kyoko. People truly believed she had a chance at a successful career and were actively taking steps for her to have it. There were talks of wardrobe, talks of branding, talks about her vocal range and her ability to sing in Japanese. She was asked to stand, to walk both the regular one and the one she learned for Box-R, to sing. There were talks of whether she should start wearing makeup more regularly and whether or not she should stick with her extensions and the wig for Box-R. For practicality sake they considered the roles she was already committed to. Box-R was gaining popularity and would cement her versatility. Her hair could wait given the action scenes for Momiji would call for intense fight choreography. There was some talk of her quitting Bo but Kyoko was adamant that wanted to keep this job and that there was a lot to gain from having this experience. Finally they decided to call it quits for the day saying that they will update her and Yashiro about the final plan and to adjust their schedules accordingly.

Giving her thanks to Director Nashino and Iwako-san, Kyoko rose up and bowed as they left. Sawara-san followed soon after telling her that she was free from doing love-me tasks for a while since she needed to focus on her rocketing career."

"Strike, while the iron's hot. Mogami-kun. Those tasks can wait."

Then it was just her and Lory. Lory who had taken the role of the cheerful observer had for the most part watched the proceedings unfold. Oh he gave the odd suggestion or two. But he was curious to see what his original love me member would do. The ticking time bomb was turning out to be more explosive and impact-full then he initially thought. Pretty soon it would be impossible for her to hide her talents in plain sight.

Kyoko for her part was mentally exhausted. When she first started in this path she had no idea about the amount of work it would take to become an idol. They went around in circles trying to figure out the best way for her to debut. 'No wonder Sho laughed when I swore revenge. If this is what he went through for his start. No wonder he got cranky coming home.'

"Oh Mogami-kun," Lory says, drawing Kyoko out of her thoughts, "I have one more surprise for you." Lory then holds up his phone to Kyoko. Kyoko picks it up looking at the image on the screen. The face of her admirable sensei staring back at her.

"Hi Son."

"Sensei!"

"I heard you've been causing quite a stir over there. Is there something you wish to tell your old man."

At this Kyoko launches into an account about her newly decided career plans. Starting with the video of her and Sho leaking and all the things Lory and his team had thought necessary to make the most of it. Kuu for his part was visibly proud of his surrogate son. Who knew the girl had it in her to stand toe to toe with someone at such a high level.

"Still I'm concerned, sensei. What if they don't take me seriously since I suddenly transitioned into being a singer. Will I still be able to take roles if I'm too busy performing?"

"Nonsense. The public will be able to recognize talent when they see one. Anyway there have been plenty of actors who have managed to balance a successful acting and singing career. If this doesn't work out. I could always bring you here and you could audition for Broadway. I hear there's talk about another run for Beauty and the Beast."

"EEEH! That would be amazing Sensei! I'd love to be Belle. Do you think I could do it?"

"Of course, you're my son aren't you? Which reminds me, didn't I tell you to call me Dad? I won't have to go over there and teach you a lesson do I"

Placing her hand protectively over her forehead Kyoko yelled , "No, Dad! I'm good."

"Good. I should probably get going. I have a shoot to get too. By the way, the boss gave me your email so feel free to send me a message every now and again. Won't you?"

"Hai. I will."

"Okay then. Goodbye and good luck son."

"Good bye dad."

With that Kyoko ended her phone call. Looking around she was surprised to see that Lory wasn't there. Sebastian calmly approached her saying that the President had left earlier to take care of business and would the young miss like a ride home? Thanking him profusely for his offer, Kyoko returned the cell phone to the butler. She had taken her bike here and wanted to ride it home. Little did she know that she soon wouldn't be able to enjoy such mundane anonymity. The rise of Japan's newest singing starlet was fast approaching. For now it's time for her to pedal away.

Authors Note: Things are heating up as Lory gets down to business. No way would the ambassador of love would give up the chance for Love Me #1 to start singing especially if he can wrangle her into singing love songs. If he has to twist a few arms then so be it. Kyoko will have to pursue singing whether she fully likes it or not. Waste not, want not and all that. Did you guys like Kuu's cameo? Sarah Smith/Julie seems to really like Kyoko so I wonder how long it will take till Kuu shows up too. I personally think Kyoko and Kuu exchanged emails in order to stay in touch. Alas there's mention of it in the manga. Nakamura-sensei, please give Kyoko back her father figure. Lastly, I wonder if Yashiro has had any interactions with Taisho or the Okami. They don't have any scenes in the manga but surely the couple would want to know her manager responsible for her even if it's just temporary. Surely they're at least aware of each other since the grateful party.
