Chapter One: Kids With Dreams
"Fear. Treachery. Blood lust. Thousands of years ago these were the forces that ruled our world." Judy says as she is playing in her play while Alexis is sitting with the family in the audience.
"Alexis are you getting all this?" Bonnie asks.
"Don't worry mom. I got it all on record." Alexis says as she gestures to the camera while continuing to watch the play.
"A world where prey were scared of predators. And predators had an uncontrollable biological urge to maim and maul and- Ahh! Blood, blood, blood! And... death!" Judy says as she gets fake attacked by a jaguar in a tiger costume while giving a very realistic death scene.
"Okay... A touch bit overkill there.." Alexis thinks as she watches the play.
"Back then the world was divided in two. Vicious predators and meek prey. But over time we evolved and looked beyond our primitive savage ways. Now predator and prey live in harmony and every young mammal has multitudinous opportunities." Judy says as she and the jaguar are then covered by boxes before being shown in white robes and holding hands.
"Yeah I don't have to cower in a herd anymore. Instead I can be an astronaut!" A young black sheep says as she is in an astronaut outfit.
"I don't have to be a lonely hunter anymore. Today I can hunt for tax exemptions. I'm gonna be an actuary!" The jaguar says as he takes off his robe to reveal a suit.
"And I can make the world a better place, I am going to be... a police officer!" Judy says as she takes off her robe to reveal a police outfit.
"Alexis did you little sister just say police officer? Isn't that the same thing you're going to be?" A golden retriever next to Alexis asks.
"So what if she did Sara? Whether you're my friend or not Judy is my sister. If she wants to be a cop say let her." Alexis says
"Hey I got no problem with it. Just sounds strange. I mean she's a bunny and you're a wolf." Sara says as Alexis looks at her unimpressed.
"And? Your point?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"Okay. Okay. Man you're protective of her." Sara says.
"You got that right. She's my sister. It's my job." Alexis says.
"I can tell." Sara says.
"It may seem impossible to small minds. I'm looking at you Gideon Grey. But just two-hundred and eleven miles away stands the great city of where our ancestors first joined together in peace and declared that anyone can be anything! Thank you and good night!" Judy says as the play ends.
*Timeskip*
"Judy you ever wonder how your mom and me got to be so darn happy?" Stu asks as he is walking outside the auditorium with Bonnie, Alexis, and Judy.
"Nope!" Judy says happily as she is skipping.
"Well we gave up on our dreams and we settled. Right Bon?" Stu asks.
"Oh yes. That's right Stu. We settled hard." Bonnie says happily.
"See? That's the beauty of complacency Jude. If you don't try anything new you'll never fail!" Stu says.
"I like trying, actually. Just like Alexis and just like her I wanna be a cop." Judy says as Alexis chokes on her drink at her comment causing Alexis to cough.
"What your father means hun is that it's gonna be difficult. Impossible even for you to become a police officer." Bonnie says as he and Stu look at Judy.
"Right! There's never been a bunny cop." Stu says.
"No." Bonnie says.
"Bunnies don't do that." Stu says as Alexis goes over to him and Bonnie.
"Mom, dad maybe let me try to explain it? Listen Judy what mom and dad are trying to say is being a police officer is gonna be a lot of work. Very hard work. Much harder than being a carrot farmer. I do agree with them on never seeing a bunny cop and it's not that I don't think you wouldn't make a great cop. You have a very big and wonderful heart Judy. It's one of the reasons I'm so proud to be your older sister. I do believe you'll do great things when you're older but are you sure being a cop is the right choice? It's gonna be very difficult." Alexis says as she looks at Judy.
"Oh... Then I guess I'll have to be the first one! Because I am gonna make the world a better place!" Judy says happily.
"Or uh heck. You know if you wanna talk about making the world a better place no better way to do it than becoming a carrot farmer." Stu says.
"Yes! Your dad, me, your two-hundred seventy-five brothers and sisters. We're changing the world!" Bonnie says happily.
"Yeah." Stu says proudly.
"One carrot at a time!" Bonnie says proudly.
"Amen to that. Carrot farming is a noble profession." Stu says as Alexis sees a concession stand and goes over to it.
"What can I get for you dear?" The bunny behind the stand asks.
"Two carrots on a sticks please." Alexis says as she hands the bunny the money before taking her carrots on sticks as she then sees Judy confronting Gideon Gray in attempt to get some tickets. Alexis then growls seeing Gideon pin Judy on the ground and claws her before walking over.
"Get off from my sister now." Alexis says sternly as Gideon and a weasel look at her.
"Your sister? Are you joking? You're a predator. A wolf to be specific. You're no bunny." Gideon says in disbelieve.
"Yeah and she's my adoptive sister. Now I said get off her at once." Alexis says angrily as she growls slightly.
"Whatever." Gideon says as he and the weasel walk off.
"That looks bad!" A white sheep says as Judy gets up with three claw marks on her cheek.
"Are you okay Judy?" The black sheep asks.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm okay. Here you go." Judy says as she gives the black sheep two tickets.
"Wow! You got our tickets!" The black sheep shouts happily.
"You're awesome Judy." The white sheep says happily.
"Yeah! That Gideon Grey doesn't know what he's talking about!" The black sheep says.
"Well he was right about one thing. I don't know when to quit!" Judy says as she picks up her hat and puts it on as the two sheep walk off.
"I'm very proud of you Judy. You stood up for those kids. You didn't back down either. I'm quite proud of you." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Thanks Alexis." Judy says as she smiles.
"Judy is being a cop what you truly wanna be? You really wanna become a cop like I'm going to?" Alexis asks as Judy nods.
"Yes! I won't give up no matter what until I am a cop." Judy says determinedly as Alexis smiles and nods.
"Alright then little sister. If that's what you want to do then I'll give you my full support. And just as a reward for doing what you just did.. How about a snack?" Alexis says as she gives Judy one of the carrots on a stick.
"Ooh! Carrot on a stick! Thanks Alexis!" Judy says as she begins eating the carrot.
"You're welcome." Alexis says before eating on her carrot on a stick.

Life story: Alexis was born in the mountains with her mother and her father. She is the only one of her litter. Her parents and pack both were killed when she was 1 month old by another wolf and his pack. Thanks to her mother she survived the slaughter and was taken in by a rabbit family before being cast out on the streets.
