So here we are again. I'm so sorry I took down my original copy of this story but after reading it through, I was horrified by my writing and knew I had to fix it ASAP. So for readers of my Original and newcomers, this story will rely heavily on music and for that reason, lyrics have been used in almost every chapter of my story. I've never given much thought to how I would die, I mean, who wants to think about that?
Some people can sit around and think to themselves, "If I had a choice, how would I want it to happen? What would be the perfect death?"
Not me.
Death always scared me.
I can't even imagine dying, the thought of no longer existing, seeing nothing, hearing nothing. Just pure nothing.
I hate thinking about it.
But now, since I have no choice but to confront it, dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go.
While Death looked at me with his beautiful but powerful eyes, I started questioning everything.
What could I have done differently? What effect will my choices mean for my family and the people I have grown to love in my short time on earth? How would they feel knowing I was walking in the Valley of Death, almost willing? Will they ever forgive me?
My murderer grew impatient and stalked towards me, intent clear in his eyes.
Knowing I had no other choice, I walked to him slowly but willingly, it was all I could do to evade my inevitable death, if even for a moment longer.
