Chapter 17

When Nathan got to the hospital he knew he looked a mess after running for the last ten miles, but he didn't care he had to see his wife he needed to know she was ok he can't live without her again and he would never let anything again hurt her.

"Nathan thank god your here she's in room 223 I'll just go and let the doctor know you're here" Amanda said as she rushed off.

"Hi" Haley smiled as Nathan walked into the room.

"Hi, Hales I'm so sorry, please don't ever leave me again, I can't live without you" Nathan cried as he walked towards her.

"Nathan I'm sorry too, I was so scared, all I want is to be with you it doesn't matter about your past, from now on we leave all the bad stuff in the past. I can't live without you Nathan, I was on my way home to tell you I love you and I was sorry when I felt dizzy and everything went black. I've been sat here for a few moments wishing you were with me I don't know what's wrong with me but I know whatever it is we'll get through this together" Haley cried as hugged her.

"You have nothing to be sorry for I did this when, Amanda rang me I've never been so scared I would have got here sooner but I had to run I was walking by the docks to clear my head, I felt like I was going to lose you again. I can't live without you Hales, I promise that you will never be on your own again. I've come close to losing you twice now and I never want to go through this again. I hate to see you hurt and it kills me this time it was my fault, I should have told you about my past years ago" Nathan cried as he held her.

"Ssh, it doesn't matter anymore, please don't blame yourself, I shouldn't have walked out like I did, but let's stop talking about that now, so you ran here that explains why you all sweaty" Haley smiled as he sat beside her on the bed.

"Yeah, sorry about that" Nathan said as he held her in his arms on the bed.

"That's ok I like you all sweaty, you're so hot" Haley smiled as she kissed him.

"Hu hum" Amanda smiled as she got their attention.

"Hi Mandy" Haley blushed as she buried her head in his chest.

"Did you find the doctor" Nathan laughed as he held his blushing wife she was so cute.

"Yeah he'll be here in a minute, I'm going to leave you two alone to talk, I just wanted to see if your ok which I see you are, hales call me if you need anything" Amanda smiled as she left she knew they had a lot to discuss.

"Mr and Mrs Scott, I'm Dr Sanderson, sorry it's taken me so long it's been a very busy day. You are fine to go home now, you're blood pressure was really high, you need to try and remain stress free, it's not good for the baby" Dr Sanderson said as he looked over her notes.

"Baby, pregnant, I'm not pregnant huh" Haley gasped there was no way.

"Oh sorry I thought you knew, you're about eight weeks, you'll need to see a gynecologist they'll be able to explain things more, congratulations, I'll just finish getting your paper work ready and then you can go home" Dr Sanderson said as he walked out.

"I'm, we're pregnant" Haley said in shock she was not expecting this.

"We're going to have another baby, wow" Nathan smiled he couldn't wait to be a dad again.

"So you're happy about this" Haley asked hoping he was she couldn't handle it if he wasn't.

"I've never been so happy, I want to have lots of babies with you Haley James" Nathan smiled as he kissed her.

"Mom, Dad are you ok now" Angel asked as she saw her parents coming home together.

"Yeah we're fine, Angel we have something to tell you but we can wait until morning its really late now, and you should be in bed why aren't you in bed" Haley rambled on.

"I was thirsty so I came down to get a drink and I saw you come through the door, what's the news" Angel asked as she sat down in the lounge.

"Your mom and I are going to have a baby, I know it's a lot to take in, believe me we're still in shock" Nathan said as he held Haley in his arms he knew how scared she was at telling Angel.

"Wow this is so awesome, I'm going to be a big sister" Angel smiled she's always wanted to have siblings they just came a lot later than she expected.

"You're happy about this" Haley asked she expected Angel to find it hard especially with the fact she hadn't been back that long, she thought she'd be angry.

"Yeah of course, sure it's a bit weird but I think this is awesome news, Well I best be going back to bed goodnight" Angel said as she kissed them goodnight.

"Wow we have a really great kid, she's really happy" Haley smiled as tears streaked down her cheek.

"We really do, I can't wait for the new child maybe he or she will be just like her" Nathan smiled as they cuddled up together on the couch.

"Are you not scared, I'm petrified, I'm afraid I'm not going to be a good mom, I was only with Angel for the first three months, I don't know how to be a mom, what if they hate me" Haley cried.

"Haley, you're going to be the best mom and I know you still blame yourself for what happened but it's not your fault, I remember when Angel was a baby, you was all she ever needed you was such a good mom back then and you're a good mom now, our kids are going to love you, please don't stress yourself like this. I'm here Hales and I didn't do everything with Angel my mom helped a lot and she'll help with the new baby too. Everything's going to be ok, I love you" Nathan said as he held her in his arms.

"Thanks Nathan, your are the best husband and father a girl could ask for, I hope we have a son just like his daddy" Haley smiled as she kissed him.
