In a room left in the darkness, a certain half elf beauty struggled to sleep as she rolled over recalling the day she had.
"Oh Subaru you dunderhead making me struggle to fall asleep " Emilia whispered as she blushed thinking about her lovely knight who made her heart flutter. She remembered his face as he beamed with joy when she accepted his date offer.
"Really Emilia-tan you are up for a date with me tomorrow?"
"Yes you dumby, do you even have to ask?. You know you could just grab my hand and take me away" Emilia muttered that last sentence under her breath
"Eh what was that Emilia-tan?"Subaru asked with his eyebrow raised
Emilia immediately waved her hands as her cheeks burned up.
"Nothing! I said nothing! Jeez Subaru you always take me out on these lovely dates. Don't you get bored of me? Of course she knew his answer but she loved his face when he denied such claims
"No No No, Emilia-tan these dates are what I live for and I would never get tired of you!"
Emilia nodded her head as she stuck her finger at him and said "Ah yes, I look forward to these dates as well so you better not disappoint me!"
Subaru immediately jumped up and with a grin so wide he exclaimed "don't you worry Emilia-tan I guarantee this will be the best date yet and maybe you might even reward me with a kiss!"
Emilia turned even redder than before and with a gulp she said " hmm maybe if you can pull it off I might give you two kisses"
Subaru slapped his cheeks to keep himself from fainting right then and there, this new Emilia was something he could not begin to handle as she was tooo cute for him and her new confidence was a little scary to a shut in like him.
And with that he immediately ran off and yelled back how he was going to get 3 with how awesome the date was going to be!
"Jeez Subaru you nincompoop, That last sentence won't let me sleep!" Emilia continued to rub her face in her pillow as she recalled how he promised her a date worthy of 3 babies!
And as she struggled to sleep she got up to get a drink of water. As she walked to the Door she felt a strong presence lurking around her. She instantly got into a fighting position but when she blinked she wasn't in her room! She was in front of a Supermarket?
"What the! Where am I? What are these strange houses and why are they fenced up!? Emilia continued to look around her as she spotted unfamiliar homes that were lit up and were protected by fences.
As Emilia continued to look around she spun around and saw a minimart and inside there were all sorts of items.
"Eh? What are those? They are in bags, are they in danger? Emilia looked inside and spotted all sorts of toys, phones and food inside little bags
Emilia then walked into the store and was in awe. She saw books filled with pictures and from what Subaru told her they were called "manga"
As Emilia walked she picked up a book and it had very nice pictures and she saw 2 people kissing and she was very interested. She knew that kissing didn't make babies but that's all she knew and she wanted to have more moments similar to her kiss with Subaru and so this was necessary for research.
Emilia then walked over to the cashier and she handed him the book. The cashier was a young man no older than 19 and he was left a stuttering mess when he saw Emilia.
"H-h-hello! Wow you are gorgeous and is that all?" The cashier said as he blushed and looked at the confused half elf beauty.
Emilia felt very uncomfortable because she didn't know this man and wasn't used to compliments but a small part of her was a little ticked off! She didn't receive many compliments up until recently but there was only one person that she loved hearing those compliments from and he was the only one she allowed to tease her and he was her precious knight! Speaking of which where is he at and where did he go?
"Uh thanks? Also yes that is all, how much is it?"
The cashier replied "that will be 1000 yen please."
"Yen? I don't know what that is but is this enough? Emilia pulled out a couple of gold coins stashed away in her pocket in case of an emergency. And these books were definitely an emergency as it would be a crime to leave them behind.
The cashier was beyond puzzled as he had never seen those coins in his life.
"Um I'm not sure what these coins are but I can't accept them sorry."
Emilia was flabbergasted and started to freak out because she really wanted this book but she didn't want to steal it.
"Um these are very rare coins. You know gold coins from Luganica and they are worth a lot I think."
"Sorry mam but I've never seen these coins and I can't accept them."
As he said that the girl in front of him, her eyes started to water as she really wanted the book but was too pure hearted to run off with it even though she would no doubt succeed!" However she was very lucky as someone came from behind sporting a familiar haircut.
"Yeah don't worry about it, can you put this young girl's book on my tab and I'll pay for it." The older man with glasses spoke.
"Subaru, wait you're not Subaru!?" Emilia spoke without thinking
"Eh? Subaru, you know Subaru?" The man immediately jumped up and was very confused after hearing the name of his son that had been missing.
"Yes I know Subaru but I can't accept this. You don't know me and you're willing to pay for my book."
"No no please allow me to pay for this book. I can tell that you really want it and you know Subaru so It makes me want to pay for it even more. I have a few questions to ask though."
"Thank you so much, but I don't know you but you look very similar to him." Emilia told the strange man
And with that both the man and girl walked out the store and he turned to her and couldn't help but chuckle as he watched the girl hug the book and have a look of pure joy.
"So yeah how do you know Subaru and are you sure that we are talking about the same person?" The man asked the half elf.
"Hm I don't know but you claim to know Subaru but I still can't trust you. However you know Subaru does poses right?" Emilia asked the man
The man nodded and then Emilia said "Okie so if you really know him you will do the pose that he does to prove it!"
The man chuckled and said "okay then but you will have to do it at the same time as well because I have to trust you as well."
Emilia was left speechless for a couple seconds but then nodded and said " you do have a point so on 3 we will do it at the same time."

And at that moment they both stuck their finger up and pointed to the sky and then proceeded to point at the other. To say they were overjoyed was an understatement as they were filled with happiness because they found a lead at their missing person.
"Wow you really do know him!" Emilia exclaimed
"Yes I haven't done that childish pose in a while now." The man stated
"Hey it's not childish it is very cool and makes Subaru look a thousand times cooler!" Emilia stated with a pout.
The man just smiled and stuck his hand to her and said " well then it looks like we both know that goofball and so my name is Natsuki Kenichi. What's yours?"
Emilia smiled back and grasped his hand and said " Yes we both know that Dunderhead and my name is Emilia just Emila."
"Well then just Emilia how do you know Subaru?" Kenichi asked Emilia as he waved towards her and pointed to an empty bench.
Emilia followed him and with a blush she said "he is my best friend and I really care about him. Maybe even more, jeez Subaru why haven't you asked me out yet." She muttered that last part but the man heard it and was confused as his son had disappeared a year ago so maybe she didn't know yet?
"Um Emilia, you do know Subaru has been missing for the last year?" Kenichi said as he shook the half elf out of her thoughts.
Emilia was very confused as she had met Subaru a year ago and he was not missing.
"Um I don't know how he's been missing but I still see him everyday."
"What!? Where is he please tell me! I've been worried sick!" Kenichi exclaimed
"Um I don't know where he is at right now because I don't even know where I am right now but how do you know Subaru?" Emilia asked
Kenichi replied "I know him because he is my son and he has been missing for the past year leaving me and his mom worried sick."
To say Emilia was confused was not doing her confusion justice because she was beyond flabbergasted. This man, Subaru's father,
claims that Subaru has been missing for the past year but he has been living with Emilia for the past year.
"Wow he is your son? I didn't know he ran away from home but he's been living with me for the past year." Emilia stated
Kenichi was shocked because he didn't want to think his son was dead but he believed that was the case and now he finds out his son was living with a cute girl for the past year.
"Ok hold on, he's been living with you, that bastard, I'm going to knock some sense into him after I stretch out his arm!" Kenichi grunted out
"Eh please don't hurt him but he never told me he was missing." Emilia tried to calm Kenichi down
"Ok but he needs a beatdown! Can you take me to him? I want to talk to him." Kenichi pleaded
Emilia felt sorry for the man and said "I'm sorry I would love to take you to him but I don't even know where I am."
"What? You know you are in Japan right, and so how did you even get here?" Asked Kenichi
"I'm sorry, I've never been to Japan but Subaru has told me he came from beyond lugunica."Emilia stated
"Lugunica? I've never heard of that place before but if you say he is there then I must go see him."
"You see I would love to take you to him but I don't even know how to get to Lugunica from Japan." Emilia told the man
"Hm you said Subaru told you he came from Japan but doesn't know how he got there?"
Emilia nodded
"Well you do know this is where he disappeared right in front of this store." Kenichi told her
"He never told me he disappeared here. Is that why you came here to search for him?" Asked Emilia
"Yes I came here everyday to see if he might just come back but he never came. I still come with the hope that he will show up once again."
Emilia felt her heart break as she heard how the man came here for the past year and never saw Subaru.
"How do you know he disappeared like did someone tell you?" Emilia asked
"No but we have security cameras and the second the camera glitched he disappeared."
"Security camera? Glitch? What's a camera and a glitch?" Asked Emilia
"Camera? Glitch? You don't know what a camera is?" Asked Kenichi
"Nope never heard of those" Emilia responded
"Well a camera is a device that records what is happening and directs it to a screen so it can show what is happening."
Emilia had never heard of such a thing but she did remember how Subaru snapped a "photo" of the 2 of them and how the time froze on the screen and showed the 2 of them smiling. She smiled at the memory of the picture but it was lost a long time ago when Subaru gave up his Métia.
"And a glitch is when the camera malfunctions and blacks out making the picture disappear or stop working." Explained Kenichi
Emilia started to understand but was still confused about how he disappeared. "Wait so Japan is not a part of lugunica?"
"Nope never heard of a lugunica."
"Am I beyond the great waterfall?" Emilia immediately started to freak out as she knew people who went beyond the great waterfall never returned and she might never see her precious knight again or unfreeze the elves.
"Great waterfall? Never heard of that."
"This is bad, if I can't go back I will never see Subaru again and I can't unfreeze the elves"yelled Emilia
"Elves hold on what elves? They aren't real are they?" Asked Kenichi
"What do you mean they aren't really I'm a half elf!" Exclaimed Emilia as she pointed to her pointy ears.
Kenichi was super confused now and he had no clue how she had ears like that. Elves are fairy tales right? They aren't real right?
"What the you're an elf, can you do magic or something?" Asked Kenichi
Emilia nodded and proceeded to point her hand to the ground and shot a wave of ice at the ground.
Kenichi instantly freaked out because magic did not exist in his world and being the smart man he was he instantly put 2 in 2 together. This girl was an elf and could use Magic? She was definitely not from earth.
Kenichi regained his composure and said "okay I would never believe you but having just witnessed this I can see you aren't lying."
Emilia was confused and she proceeded to ask "wait why wouldn't you believe me do elves not live here and they don't have magic?"
"Nope no magic no elves, in fact all of the things you said were myths and stories we came up with."
Emilia was super confused and she proceeded to ask "okay if there is no magic how do you guys live?"
"Well we don't have magic but we do have all sorts of gadgets and technology that can help us live comfortably." He then pulled out his key and waved at her as he pushed a button and the metal box in front of him beeped and turned on.
Emilia had never seen such a creature and here it was blinking and making noises. "What is this creature? I've never seen such a thing"
"It's not a living being but a tool that we have made and it can take us to our destination a lot faster than walking."
"Oh so it's a ground dragon of some sort?" Emilia asked
"Ground dragon? Never heard of that but if it's your world's form of transportation then it is similar." Kenichi stated.
"Here come in, you've been such a big help but I want to take you to my wife because she deserves to hear how our son is doing." Kenichi stated as he led her into his car.
Emilia entered and sat in the passenger seat and wanted to see just what this "car" really was. She proceeded to strap herself in after Kenichi explained what a seatbelt was. In seconds the car took off and she was left speechless. It was much faster than a ground dragon.
"Well this is a car and I hope you like it because from what I can tell you are not from this world."
"Eh what do you mean, not from this world?"
"Well first off your world has magic, dragons, elves and has never seen a car before. So logically we are not from the same world and you have somehow been brought to Subaru's world and he is stuck in yours." Kenichi sighed
Emilia was left in shock as she put all the clues together and came to the same conclusion and it started to make her eyes watery. She realized if Subaru could never come back to his world like he stated before, then she would never be able to go back and she couldn't see him ever again.
Kenichi noticed her crying and said "please don't cry I'm very grateful for your help and now I know my son is safe and he didn't leave us. We can go talk to my wife and we can try to figure this out."
Emilia was left in silence and she started to observe her surroundings but was too sad to be intrigued by the world around her. She just wanted to see her precious knight and get the kisses he promised her.
Eventually they made it to Kenichi's house and he helped her get out and they knocked on the door. A woman with pretty brown hair and the same eyes that Emilia loved because both her knight and mother had those same eyes, opened the door and stared at the two. Naoko then spoke and asked
"Kenichi dear, who might this cute girl be?"
"Ah yes this is Emilia and she knows our precious Subaru and has been in touch with him for the past year." Kenichi explained
Naoko immediately started to cry and she gestured for them to come in.
Emilia was extremely saddened at how the mere mention of Subaru would bring his parents to tears. They must've been deeply saddened by his disappearance.
Emilia walked in and copied Kenichi as she took off her shoes and she was left bewildered at the sight before her. She saw a small cozy home with couches surrounding the walls and many pictures hung on the wall. As she looked around she couldn't stop herself from walking towards a picture that showed a young Subaru smiling with a medal on his neck while his father held up his fist and his mom smiled on his left. She rubbed her fingers across the picture and almost started crying when she realized this was ripped away from the Natsuki family.
Kenichi and Naoko could only stare as they watched the half elf begin to cry.
"I'm so sorry for your loss, I wish I could bring him back to you two." Emilia muttered between sniffles
Kenichi then said "don't beat yourself over it, it's not your fault and I hope he at least remembers us and doesn't hate us."
"Um Emilia was it? How do you know our Subaru and where is he?" Asked Naoko
"He is my best friend and I really care about him. Right now he is in another world and I can't reach him at the moment." Explained Emilia
"Huh another world how is that possible?" Asked Naoko
Before Emilia could answer, Kenichi spoke and said "we have determined that he is not on earth and that he went to Emilia's world."
"Yes my world has magic and elves and I am a half elf." Emilia pointed to her ears
Naoko was shocked and then stuttered out "M-M-Magic? Oh my goodness is he safe? Does he hate us?"
Emilia smiled and said "he is fine and I will watch him like a hawk from now on because he always gets into trouble. Also he does not hate you I've seen him zone out and when I asked him he told me he had the best parents in the world and he wished he could see them again."
Naoko began to cry even more as her husband comforted her. She then guided Emilia over to the table and she brought out a plate as she handed it over to Emilia and Kenichi.
"Come here Emilia, please have lunch with us and we can talk about Subaru."
"Really thank you so much, um do you have any Mayo?" She really loved mayonnaise and she knew Subaru loved it too so his house must've had some.
"Of course it's Subaru's favorite so we keep one for when he comes back." Naoko reassured Emila
As they began to eat Kenichi asked "So Emilia what is your relationship with our son subaru?"
Emilia began to blush and then she said "Eh, he is my best friend and he is also my knight and maybe even my l-l-lover."
Kenichi and Naoko turned red and Kenichi was the first to snap out of it and started laughing.
"That little sh*t to think he can have such a relationship with such a beautiful and kind girl."
Emilia blushed even harder at being praised by her knight's parents.
"Eh Emilia, is he your boyfriend? And how long?" Naoko was beaming with excitement that she might just get a beautiful granddaughter or handsome grandson.
"Eh not yet we just k-k-kissed and we occasionally cuddle but nothing more."
Naoko sighed but immediately recovered because she was happy that Subaru at least made progress.
"Okay so we know he is safe but he is a knight? How does that work and does he have magic?" Asked Naoko
Emilia smiled at the thought of Subaru being her knight and how he is hers and hers alone. She blushed at the thought of him telling her how he was her knight and only hers at his ceremony.
"Yes he is my knight and we go out on many dates. He used to have magic but he broke his gate and so he can't use it any more."
"Gate? What's a gate?" Asked Kenichi.
"Well you see a gate is basically how we use magic and you push your energy through this gate and it turns into magic. Subaru broke it after he got into a fight and now he can't use magic on his own anymore." Explained Emilia
"Hm if he can't use magic any more how is he a knight?" Asked Kenichi
"Well you see this is where the best part comes in! He has a cute little spirit girl named Beatrice but he likes to call her beako who is 400 years old and she loves him and he loves her back like family. She is a short blonde girl who wears a red dress and cute little crown and with hair shaped like drills. That nincompoop Subaru always pulls at them which results in Beatrice scolding him. With her help he can cast magic through her and they fight as a duo." Emilia said with stars flashing in her pupils as she thought of the Lolmancer and his loli.
Naoko was overjoyed at hearing how well her son was doing and that he found a little sister in this new world.
"Okay so now we know he is an awesome knight and has his own loli so how did you two meet? Asked Kenichi
Emilia smiled remembering her brave knight and how he always saved her. "we're going to be here for a while because I love this story"
Kenichi and Naoko looked at Each other and both smiled at the half elf who was lost In her own world thinking about their son.
"Oh do tell we have all day and we would love to hear how my future daughter in law met my amazing son." Teased Naoko
Emilia turned into a cherry as she pouted towards her knights parents but she then smiled and started her tale.
"You see there was this insignia that I had that was very important because it showed I was a candidate for the throne of the country."
"What, you're a princess?" Both parents shouted in disbelief
"Eh sort of basically if the insignia glowed red it would be proof that the dragon has chosen you as a candidate for the throne. There were five women chosen and I was one."
"Wow Subaru is basically a king if you marry him and you win the election." Smirked Kenichi
Emilia blushes once again but she then looked down and said "however I was a complete idiot and got my insignia stolen and since it was very important I chased down the thief but couldn't find her for a while."
Naoko smirked and said "you naughty girl how can you lose something so important."
Emilia started waving her hands and covered her face with her palms and said "It wasn't my fault, I got it stolen. Anyways as I was searching I ended up at a loot house where thieves go to sell their merchandise that they stole for profit. As I got in there I saw 3 people arguing. One was a giant named Rom and the thief (a 15 year old girl with blonde hair and red eyes) arguing with Subaru."
Weird how he was there already thought Kenichi.
"So yeah as I heard them arguing when I knocked on the door. Subaru yelled at the blonde thief and told her not to open the door because the person behind the door would kill her. The girl didn't listen and opened it and I peeked in and In defense told them I wouldn't do such a thing."
"Wow he has no shame" Naoko sighed
"So yeah as I entered, Subaru immediately sighed and started to smile at me and told the thief whose name is Felt to give me back my insignia. Felt then accused Subaru of setting up the meeting up to stall Felt until I arrived. Keep in mind I had never met Subaru before this and we never made such a plan so I was extremely confused. I thought they all worked together to steal my insignia but then Subaru yelled out for Puck to protect me."
"Wait who's puck?" Questioned Kenichi
"Oh I'm such a dunderhead, Puck was my spirit like Subaru's spirit Beatrice and unlike her he was a small cat the size of a doll and he was my trusted partner. He unfortunately had to break our contract to help me overcome some trials and I will explain those trials later."
"Oh wow he must've been cute" thought Naoko
"Yeah so I was extremely confused because I had never met Subaru before but he knew the name of my spirit Puck and Puck never reveals his name to strangers. Before I could question him, I was attacked by a famous assassin named Elsa Greinhart and she was a very evil person but thanks to Subaru Puck blocked the attack and we engaged in combat."
"Hmmm he knew she was looking for the insignia and he knew the name of her cat but never met her, that doesn't add up" wondered Kenichi
"As Puck and I fought Elsa the giant who was there to keep the others from fighting backed off and didn't want to fight because we outclassed him. Felt and Subaru could only watch as we fought the assassin. Eventually Subaru jumped in and started to distract Elsa. With his distraction Puck had made enough ice pillars to catch Elsa off guard and he sent a ice pillar straight at her as she was frozen in place."
"You three make a great team" Smiled Naoko
"Well we should've won but this woman was crazy and she chopped off her foot and then froze her foot to stop the bleeding. Puck had a limit and because of this time limit he could only be active from the morning to 5pm and then he would be forced to retreat in his crystal that housed him. And with Puck missing it was just me and Subaru vs Elsa. Elsa caught me off guard and kicked me into the bar leaving me immobilized for a couple of seconds."
"Oh no you weren't hurt were you?" Worried
Naoko
"No I was stunned but no more as I was out for a bit, ROM attacked Elsa but he was swiftly defeated and then felt tried to attack but was easily overwhelmed and then I heard Felt crying out about how she got the insignia and why she had to die even though she completed her mission. Elsa then said the mission failed when I showed up and so she was ready to cut down Felt. Subaru then jumped in and tackled Felt to the ground and dodged Elsa's strike."
"Yes that's my son alright he learned from his father!" Kenichi nodded proudly
Emilia smiled and continued " yes he is very amazing and then I used that short second to attack Elsa but she dodged and then I heard Subaru convincing Felt to run away and search for help. Felt was hesitant but eventually Subaru got through to her leaving me and Subaru to fight Elsa together. Elsa didn't want Felt to escape so she threw a dagger at Felt but Subaru's amazing reflexes blocked the incoming attack with a table that he kicked to intercept the blade.
Kenichi continued to nod at his son's heroic actions and continued to listen to Emilia's story.
"With the help of Subaru we kept Elsa busy for a bit but she started to overwhelm us. Subaru then told me if I had a trump card I should use it. I had one but if I did it would leave only me standing and I didn't want to hurt Subaru not after I saw how hard he was fighting to get my insignia back."
"Yup that's my son alright, never fails to amaze me!" Kenichi was overflowing with pride and Naoko just smiled hearing her little boy fight for such a beautiful girl.
"However Elsa was too much for us and just when she was about to slice subaru in half, we Were saved by a knight named Reinhard. He was the strongest knight in all of lugunica and so he made quick work of Elsa. I rushed over to Rom to heal him. Because he needed help and Subaru tried to help me. And after I finished healing him, Reinhard then unleashed his power and blew the whole house away and so we won the match."
"Wow he is something else!" Kenichi stated in Awe at the sound of the knight's strength.
"If I can meet him I would thank him for saving my baby boy." Exclaimed Naoko
"So after he blew the house away with Elsa we then took a moment to speak to each other. I found out that Felt had found Reinhard and brought him over to help us. I also found out that Reinhard had saved Subaru in an alley before he arrived at the loot house so they had already met. As I went up to thank Subaru, Elsa popped up out of the debris and lunged at me and she would've killed me if Subaru did not push me out the way and block the attack with Rom's club. Elsa then escaped promising to finish the job some other day."
"That's when you fell for him didn't you " teased a smirking Naoko
Emilia instantly blushed but she then said "Nope I fell for him right when I asked him what he wanted in exchange for saving my life. I expected him to ask for money or something but no he struck a pose and then snapped his fingers and pointed at me and then asked for my name. That's all he wanted and I was overjoyed and I fell for the boy I had just met who wanted nothing but my name for his troubles. But then when we asked him if he was okay he told us the club had protected him. But then Reinhard picked the club up and it was sliced in two and then when we turned to Subaru his tracksuit and his belly was cut open and he started bleeding out onto the floor."
Naoko and Kenichi were in disbelief and were extremely scared at their son getting permanently injured after the attack.
"You saved him right?" Asked Naoko
"I wish I could've saved him completely but I could only stabilize him and keep him from dying for a little longer. Reinhard then asked me if I knew him but I had no clue who he was so he offered to take him away with him and give Subaru a job. I declined and told him I wanted to take him"
"Of course you wanted to see his handsome face sleeping huh?" Smirked Kenichi
"Jeez of course he is very cute when he sleeps but I wanted to repay him as well for what he did and my name was not nearly enough to repay him. So I took him back with me. Reinhard then asked about Felt and she tried to return the insignia to me but then it started to glow red and we later found out she was a candidate as well Reinhard noticed and he knocked out Felt and took her away.!"
"Yup definitely fate, strongest knight arrives to save 2 candidates" exclaimed Kenichi
"Don't forget fate brought these two lovebirds together." Giggled Naoko
"Yes it sure did! And I'm extremely happy being with Subaru and so I met up with the maid named Ram who accompanied me and I told her I wanted to bring him with me so I could repay him. Ram couldn't deny my request and so we went to the mansion to heal Subaru. When I got there I was met by my benefactor who supported my Candidacy. An odd noble named Roswaal who wore clown makeup and dressed like a jester. There I also reunited with the twin maid Named Rem who was the younger sister of Ram and also Beatrice who was the great spirit who lived in the forbidden library. The forbidden Library had very important knowledge and so it had to be protected and Beatrice never came
out or invited us in. She would constantly lock herself away but she took a liking to Subaru but wouldn't admit it. She then healed up all of Subaru's injuries that I couldn't heal."
"Wow you lived in a mansion and was rich? I hope you treat my grandkids well!" Smirked Kenichi
"They will be spoiled rotten! And so we waited for Subaru to wake up. And so as we waited I couldn't help but worry for him because he had taken such a devastating amount of damage!"
"Don't blame yourself, you were not at fault, the assassin was the one to blame." Kenichi reassured Emilia.
Emilia smiled and prepared to talk about how awesome her Subaru was during the wolgram attack.
AN: So yeah this is my first attempt at a more confident Emilia when it comes to love. I was planning to make it just her talking to his parents then going back to surprise Subaru and tell him she knows his origins. But then I felt that wasn't enough. I have to give Subaru credit where it's due and who better but Emilia to explain his heroic actions to his parents. Emilia being teased by Subaru's parents unlocked a new side of her in which she is more willing to admit her love for Subaru! Also if I don't go anywhere tomorrow I'll have chapter 2 up and running if arc 2 is not long enough then ima do arc 2 and 3. But if I'm not home then I'll have it either Monday or Tuesday.
