Car ride
Wolf slowly woke up to the sound of the TV on, having fallen a sleep on the couch. He felt the tip of Holo's tail tickling his face. She was asleep next to him as her tail tickled as she was still asleep.
She stirred almost immediately when he tried to move her tail from his face. She let out a soft murmur which was the first sign that she woke, informing Wolf that it was safe to move.
Wolf managed to got up without much interference from Holo. After freshening up, He got started on breakfast. Due to him now having another mouth to feed, he had decided to make something more filling. Bacon and eggs should be enough for both of them. Soon after he had started frying the bacon, Holo enterd the room. He heard her sniffing.
"I smell something good. However I cannot tell what it is. It smells of pork but there is another smell to it too. What are you cooking?" Holo asked.
"Bacon and eggs." Said Wolf.
"Lawrence always told me that bacon was harder to come by than honey preserved peaches.
"It's actually pretty common these days, much easier to buy." Said Wolf as he put some on a plat for her and some for himself. and some milk on the side.
And in the blink of an eye Holo wolfed down her food before Wolf was even done. Luckily he had more coming man Holo could eat a lot. After they were done Wolf spoke up.
"Anyway. We need to get you a few more clothes. We can't have you walking around in the same ones since they need washing and can't have you walking in the nude." Said Wolf as Holo grinned at him.
"But you would you not enjoy that? You have seen me naked before with those wondering eyes of yours." Said Holo as Wolf blushed as he tried to stay cool. "While there were a few clothes left from the past owners most would not fit you, and some are damaged."
"Mid if i see then?" Asked Holo as Wolf brought the clothes and yes manay were to big and some damaged. Holo did find one outfit tho.
a light pink shirt and black skirt that reached past her knees. And a pair of brown shoes. Holo asked Wolf to turn around so she could change. Wolf did just that
later, Wolf felt a pair of arms wrap around him. Wolf took this as a OK to turn but as he did Holo's hands tightened their grip on him. "These clothes fit me perfectly, they even have a hole for my tail. Thank you.'' Said Holo as she stepped back a bit and spun around as Wolf looked at her and she notice.
''My, my your eyes seem to love wondering, are you imagining ripping this clothes off me and ravaging me on the floor?'' Asked Holo in a playful tone.
"What? No I would never do that to you like that." Said Wolf blushing.
"But what if i said you could?" Asked Holo as she got close whispering it in his ear as he freaked out and fell on the couch.
"OH you are so adorable.'' Said Holo with a giggle.
"It was not funny." Yelled Wolf as Holo crawled on top of him her face inches from his.
"Who said it was aa joke?" Asked Holo licking his nose.
"WHAT?" Asked Wolf feeling himself getting hard.
"You have done much for me, and I nothing you took me a total stranger in and looked after me." Said Holo as she sat up with a serious look as she turned to her head to the side a bit. "I would not mind letting you use my body as thanks. Once more your little friend seems to want to join in." Said Holo as she noticed his hard member poking her.
"Holo stop." Said Wolf as he got up. "I didn't do what I did because I expected something in return. Hell I don't know why I did it I just could not stand the thought of leaving someone out in the world alone, not when I could do something." Said Wolf has back to her.
"That's one of the things aout you I have quickly come to love the most." Said Holo licking his left ear.
"HOLO WHAT THE HELL?" Asked Wolf all a blushed as Holo let out a playful laugh.
"Your mine now, I just marked you so don't go cheating on me." Said Holo acting all superior.
"What? Like Marking your territory?" Asked Wolf as Holo grinned and nodded.
"What else do are we going to do? I got my clothes but I still have nothing to hide my ears as the hat I had before is a bit tight and and I need to hide my tail." Wolf just gave a pat on her head.
."That won't be a problem. If we find a headband for you, people will think they are fake ears as long as you don't move them. Your Tail you can can hide it up your shirt and put a jacket on that way no one will notice, and I got just the things we need." Said wolf as Holo seemed surprised.
"Any way how about a drive? We can take my car." Said Wolf. "Let's go then. I want to see how much the world has truly changed besides what that TV showed me. And fresh air would be nice. It's been centuries since I felt and smelled fresh air." Wolf just chuckled before grabbing his keys and jacket. He let Holo borrow one of his smaller jackets as it seemed to fit her surprisingly well and hid her tail up it.
Once they were both outside, Holo stood still for a bit, breathing deeply. "I have missed this." Said Holo.
"Ok, enough of breathing. Let's go." Wolf called out as he was walking to his car. Holo ran after him but stopped as he opened the car door. Her suspicions were clear but Wolf just hopped into the driver seat before closing the door. Holo was hesitate for a moment before opening the passenger side door and hopping in, copying what Wolf did. Holo had scene Cars on the TV and herd some things rom Wolf, but this was the first Holo had been in one.
"So this is what wagons have become these days? No longer needing horse?" She asked while letting her eyes wander. She was shaken out of her curiosity as Wolf tapped her on the shoulder. He pointed at the belt like thing to her side before gesturing her to hand it to him. After a quiet click, the belt was attached over her,
"It's for your own safety. And no, there are no horses needed anymore." Wolf explained as he turned the ignition key. The car started as Holo flinched from the sudden noise and movement. Her eyes darted to Wolf but soon calmed down as he showed no reaction of panic. Her tail was resting on her lap, completely still.
Wolf saw this and reached out and placed a hand on hers. Holo let out a little gasp as she blushed while looking at him
"Relax. There is nothing to worry about. Think of this as a wagon that is more enclosed and goes much faster. And helps get us around faster too." Holo nodded slowly at his words. She was still tensed up, as she was now looking out of the window.
The journey itself wasn't that long only a few minutes, Holo was amazed by all she saw and soon they arrived at a the parking lot of a mall.
As they went inside, Holo's ears flattened from all the noise. As Holo froze as she began looking around, Seeing this Wolf did the ony thing he could think of. He grabbed Holo's hand with his as she seem to calm down but blush at his actions as she looked at him.
''Just stick close to me and you will be alright.'' Said Wolf as he lead Holo through the Mall. Holo did not know what to say, she felt her heart pounding like crazy, and felt lighter then air. She had not felt this way since Lawrence. She grasped hold of Wolf's hand feeling his warmth, he felt firm but at the same time gentle. "We just have to pick up some things then we head to the grocery store. After that we can head home just bare with it till then" Said Wolf in a tone that helped Holo calm down as she nodded. The whole thing felt mostly like a blur as Holo felt lost in her own world as Wolf held her hand. Part of her never wanted to let go. The only things she remberd was something about something called a shotgun and something called a Colt Python 357 Magnum and bullets. Then getting Groceries.
Later after they arrived home and everything was put away Holo curled up on the couch scared and overwhelmed by all that happened.
"Holo? asked Wolf as he placed a hand on Holo's shoulder only for her to grab him and pull him in for a hug. Clinging to him as if her life depended on it. He saw how shaken up she was. "I guess it was a bit much for her." Thought Wolf as he held her and after a while Holo calmed down.
"It's alright you don't have to go back there just stay here till your feeling better." Said Wolf as he rubbed Holo's head. Holo just drifted off to sleep as Wolf took her to a guest room and tucked her into bed.
"She is actually not that bad looking when you look at her." Thought Wolf as for some unknown reason leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"God I am happy she was asleep for that.'' Thought Wolf as he left the room.
