The Third Night

Time: 7:00 A.M.

Ruby couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Freddy's as she walked back to her dorm at beacon. The bags under her eyes were visible to anyone who looked. Opening the door to her dorm she noticed that her team was already awake, yang was in the shower, Weiss was doing her hair, and Blake was sitting on her bed staring at the door.

"what?" ruby asked as she walked in the door. "you need sleep ruby." Weiss said as she noticed the bags under ruby's eyes. "yea, well it was a rough night at work, ok?" ruby retorted walking over to her bed and heaving herself up. "they did it again huh?" Blake asked her getting a confused look from Weiss.

"what do you mean Blakey?" yang said as she came out the bathroom wrapped in a towel. "hm? Oh nothing." she replied looking back at her book. "ok? So ruby. How was work?" yang asked ruby while getting dressed. "mmm" was all she could muster to reply before sleep overtook her.

Her team had told the teachers she couldn't make it to class Cuz she had a long night at work and needed to sleep, and that was the reason why she wasn't in class at all today. She woke up around 10:30 at night drenched in sweat. Looking around the room she noticed that most of her team was already asleep.

Blake was sitting at the end of ruby's bed with her hand on ruby's leg. "b-Blake? Wha-what are you doing?" ruby asked her as she sat up. "I saw you were restless in your sleep after class so I sat here for the whole time trying to calm you down." Blake replied retracting her arm and looking at ruby with concern in her eyes. "are you sure you're, okay?" she asked moving closer to her.

"y-yea I'm fine. I just can't shake this feeling that something bad happened at Freddy's before I started working there." ruby replied looking down not noticing Blake was moving closer to her. "you mean something like those 6 kids that went missing there?" Blake asked lifting ruby's head up to meet her gaze. "w-what?" ruby asked as her gaze met Blakes, her face only inches away from hers.

"i did some research into Freddy's. It turns out back in the 80's the place was called Fredbear's and a kid's frontal lobe was bitten off by an animatronic. And a few years later after the place was renamed into Freddy's 6 kids went missing and they never found them, no bodies, no nothing." Blake said as she looked at ruby.

"that's why I don't think you should continue working there." Blake said with deep concern for ruby. "Blake, I can't just quit. I need the lien. Besides I only have a few days left. After that I collect my pay check and that's it." ruby pointed out. "I know you care about me Blake but I have to finish this job." ruby said before Blake grabbed her by the chin and kissed her.

Ruby didn't know what to do as Blake kissed her, she didn't expect it. Blake ended the kiss a moment later. "I don't just care about you, ruby. I love you, ruby." Blake said as she hugged ruby. "y-you love me?" ruby asked, she never had anyone tell her that besides her parents and yang.

"i didn't know I felt this way until yesterday." Blake replied. She wasn't lying either; she never knew she felt like this until ruby started her job. "Blake, I-I didn't know you felt like this." ruby said hugging her back. She looked over at the clock noticing it was already 10:45 at night. "listen I got to get to work. Can we talk about this tomorrow?" ruby said breaking the hug and getting up to get dressed for work. "y-yea." Blake replied with a bit of sadness in her voice. "i promise your feelings are alone Blake." ruby said as she walked out the door heading to work.

Arriving at Freddy's around 11:55 she walked into the office to see fritz had already left. She walked into the office and sat down in the chair setting her hat down on the table before leaning back and letting out a sigh. "alright what do you got for me tonight 'phone guy'." she said to herself chuckling a little. She checked the cams and made sure everything was the same before the phone rang.

Phone Guy - "Hello, hello? Hey you're doing great! Most people don't last this long. I mean, you know, they usually move on to other things by now. I'm not implying that they died. Th-th-that's not what I meant. Uh, anyway I better not take up too much of your time. Things start getting real tonight."

"uhuh sure, like the past two nights weren't crazy enough." ruby said to herself checking the cams.

"Uh... Hey, listen, I had an idea: if you happen to get caught and want to avoid getting stuffed into a Freddy suit, uhh, try playing dead! You know, go limp. Then there's a chance that, uh, maybe they'll think that you're an empty costume instead. Then again if they think you're an empty costume, they might try to... stuff a metal skeleton into you. I wonder how that would work. Yeah, never mind, scratch that. It's best just not to get caught."

"wait what? What do you mean stuffed into a suit?!" she replied looking at cam 1c to see foxy already peeking out.It was only 12!

"Um... Ok, I'll leave you to it. See you on the flip side!"

Flipping through the cams she found bonnie in cam 3, Chica in cam 4a. Switching back to cam 1c she noticed foxy was outside the curtain. She put down the tablet and slammed the door button for the left door and the right door. The power dropped to 97%. Looking at the time she noticed it was only 1:00 A.M. she began to hyperventilate.

"calm down ruby, you got this. Its only 5 more hours. You can do this." she thought to herself before pulling the cams again and found Chica had moved to the dining room. She let out a sigh as she opened the door to the right.

She looked at 1c and saw the curtains were closed, she switched over to cam 5 and found bonnie standing there. She opened the door to the left. The power was at 85% and it was only 2:00 A.M. switching to the stage cam she noticed Freddy was still there. "phew." she thought to herself before switching back to pirate's cove.

A few hours of defending the office from bonnie, Chica and foxy had passed. She looked at the clock and seen it was now 5:00 A.M. with only 5% power left. "uh-oh." she thought. She opened the doors after checking cams to find bonnie and Chica were in cams 1a and 1b and foxy was in his cove. "come on, come on. 6:00 A.M." she prayed that 6 would come soon, the next hour felt like hell as time slowly went by.

DING DONG DING DONG YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY

6:00 A.M. came just when she was about to lose power. "oh, thank oum!" she exclaimed with a sigh of relief. She got up and grabbed her hat putting it on. She stepped out of the office and headed for the door to see fritz unlocking it. "morning Fritzy." she said as she opened the door.

"well, good morning ruby. You seem to be in a good mood." fritz said as he walked in. "yup. One of my teammates and I are going to have a talk about how we feel for each other and will probably start dating." she replied. "well, good luck with that ruby." fritz replied heading the office. "see Ya tonight." ruby replied before heading home. Today was going to be an interesting day.

/and there we have it. Night 3. sorry if it wasn't very eventful. I have a lot of story arc in the works for this series.
