WELCOME WEIRDOS TO ANOTHER GOSHDARN CHAPTER! :D Hope you enjoy! Oh, and warning: Hints at a Scourge x Bone thingy in one of the paragraphs, but mainly it's just showing their trust and friendship. But if it really irks you, feel free to skip Bone's part. (:

Flame yawned, stretching down in a deep bow, her scratches on her back screaming in protest. She glanced over at a sleeping Rain, the moonlight trickling in through the window illuminating her dark tabby fur, and purred softly. How could she look so.. Peaceful? Quietly, Flame wished she could sleep like that. Her sleep was full of nightmares. Most of the time when she woke up, she just felt a feeling of terror. This time, she remembered a cat made of shadows, barely more than a silhouette, and blood dripping off of her paws. Shuddering, she started licking her paws, wanting to forget the dreams of last night. The BloodClan cats had ushered her into the room they had been kept prisoner in, and told her it was time to sleep. Rain had already been sound asleep, dozing peacefully, by then, and Flame didn't want to wake her. She had just groomed her scratches to the best of her ability and went to sleep. Now, she simply waited beside her sister for her to wake up. Sniffing the air, the sharp metallic tang of blood hit her nose and she sighed, before thinking wryly,

'What a shocker.' She swiped her tail over her back, and looked closely for any scarlet liquid on her fluffy tail. To her surprise, there was none. Her brow furrowed in confusion. Suddenly, Lea- Rain rolled over, and a scratch ran along her chest. Rage coursed through Flame. How dare they do this to her sister? She bent down and started grooming her sister's fur, waiting for the sun to rise and her ment- trainer to come in and boss her around more.

Bone yawned, and continued padding up the stairs of the twoleg den. He reached a door in the hallway that was cracked open, and slipped inside. He quickly leapt onto the windowsill, and lifted it open with his muzzle. Slipping outside, he paused for a moment and breathed in the crisp new-leaf air. He turned and leapt onto the roof, his movements practiced and graceful. He sat down on the roof, careful not to fall into one of the rotten holes scattered about the roof. He sat down, facing the sunlight, and waited patiently for the sun to rise. Scourge had watched the sunset almost every day, and Bone had started to join him. Before he died. Before Firestar killed him. He sighed softly, his tail flicking from side to side as he recalled the moments they had shared together before his death.

Bone sat beside Scourge, guarding him as a brown tabby with a scar across his nose approached.

"Tigerstar." Scourge said curtly. I raised my eyebrows, surprised. A clan cat? Scourge hated them..

"Scourge." He purred, his voice like golden honey. Scourge remained unimpressed.

"What do you want?"

"I'm simply here to offer an opportunity. I heard from a little birdy you hate the clans. So we have something in common." Scourge's face remained neutral, although his body posture signaled his surprise to someone who knew him as well as I did.

"You want my help to kill a clan cat?" Scourge guessed, his expression amused. Tigerstar nodded.

"And what will I get out of this? Do you think I'll risk my cats' lives for revenge?" Scourge's tail flicked into the command for wait, and I stayed still, alert. That command was normally followed by, "Kill them."

Tigerstar purred.

"A tom of goals, I see. If you help me in the battle against them, you and I can rule the whole forest side by side." Bone felt a tiny jolt of fear. Would Scourge take Tigerstar up on his offer?

"And how much territory would I receive?" Scourge asked boredly. Tigerstar shrugged.

"We'll figure it out."

After the tabby tom was gone, with a promise to be back in a few days, Bone turned to Scourge.

"Are you going to do it?" Scourge shrugged.

"I think we should. It will be a chance to move to healthier lands. He said he has other rogues allied with him, and therefore when we succeed we will have allies to help us solve our problems swiftly."

Bone nodded. That did make sense.

"Alright. And you'll be safe, won't you?" Bone asked. Scourge purred and nuzzled him gently.

"I will. And when we all return victorious from our battle, you will see I was right."

Bone sighed softly. Scourge had been so confident, so sure that they would win. Maybe they could have. Maybe if they knew that leaders had 9 lives.. Bone sighed softly. Nothing he could do now could bring Scourge back. But he could get revenge on the cat who killed him. Rage burned in his belly, and he snarled. He would kill Firestar, and his little mate too. Actually, his daughters would do it for Bone. Bone yawned as the sun peeked hesitantly before starting a steady climb up the sky. Golden light bathed his face, and he purred softly. He leapt back down and headed back in through the window, and headed towards the room where Rain and Flame rested. He opened the door and entered to see Flame sitting beside her sleeping sister. Suddenly, Bone was struck by how much Rain looked like Twig, Blaze's missing mate. Same white paws, same tabby fur. Same little pink nose. The only difference was the eye color. Twig had green eyes, and Rain had amber.

"Wake up." Bone said sharply, putting back his stern, stoic version of himself, the one he showed to BloodClan. Rain's head shot up.

"Sir!" Flame whipped around.

"Good morning, trainees. Your mentors are going together today, and I'm coming along to judge what you knew before you came." He said, knowing Fang and Blaze wouldn't mind him. Not like they had a choice. He thought wryly.

Flame nodded, and Bone padded towards them, leaping up onto the bed. Flame flinched visibly and jumped back. Surprised, Bone noted the scars raked along her back and chest. Fang must've punished her for something. He would have to talk to him - If he continued doing this he might kill the kit before they could use her.

Bone sighed softly and leapt back down.

"Come on."

The trainees leapt down behind him and followed them out the door, leaving tiny paw prints in the thin layer of dust that coated the planks.

Rain stretched deeply into a bow in the alley, and followed Blaze and Fang out through the brick walls. Flame padded beside her, and Bone took up the rear, trailing behind. Quietly, she wondered when her clanmates would come for her. She knew it was a long shot, as they probably thought she was dead, but still, she held that fragment of hope in her heart. She was five and ¾ moons, and she hoped she'd be back to her clan before she reached 7. But that wasn't going to happen. It wasn't so bad here, she guessed. Blaze seemed nice enough towards her. But she worried about her sister, Flame. She was scarred, inside and out, and already her spunky attitude had started to dull. "We'll do some fighting." Bone said. The trainees nodded, and the trainees turned to each other.

"No." He didn't trust Rain and Flame not to let one of them win.

"Blaze against Rain, and Fang against Flame." He ordered. The cats shifted appropriately, although the trainees looked worried.

"Blaze, Rain, you first." Bone's second in command - his deputy, he supposed - dipped his head and leapt at Rain, intentionally slowing his movements to that of an equal to a well-taught trainee. Rain slammed into his side, and slipped under him, raking her paws along his belly in a move that could've been lethal.

The same one Scourge used on Tigerstar. Bone realized with a jolt. Blaze and Rain stared at him expectantly and he nodded.

"Good. Flame, Fang."

Without warning, Fang flung himself at his trainee, and raked his claws into her thick ginger fur. He pinned her down and bit her scruff, pinning her down, and he clawed her with his front paws. She lay limp, dejected, and suddenly both Blaze and Rain leapt into battle, slamming Fang off. Rain stood protectively over her sister while Blaze confronted Fang.

"What is your problem?" He snarled, his class unsheathed as he glared at the black and gray tom. Bone padded between them, knowing he should do something.

"Fang! You have lost my respect as a trainer. You are an amazing BloodClan warrior, and I respect that. But that kind of ruthlessness should be used against enemies. Not your clanmates, and definitely not a cat barely more than a kit."

Fang snarled softly, but nodded.

"I'll announce a change in her trainer this evening. For now, go back to camp. You'll replace Split on guard duty." Bone ordered. Fang nodded again, and padded off through the ally. With a sigh, Bone turned to the bloody, unconscious kit.

"Flame?" He asked, nudging her with his paw. She remained limp, and he groaned.

"I swear, if he killed her.." He growled ominously, his voice trailing off.

Rain snuffled at her.

"She's still breathing. Do you have cobwebs? Cinderpelt said they were a good way to stop bleeding." Bone looked at her, before nodding.

"I'll go find some." He scampered away, leaving Rain to try and stop the bleeding, her paws turning scarlet with the blood of Flame, blood she shared.

Flame leapt to her paws to follow her trainer, Night, out into the alley for the second time that day. At first, they had gone scavenging for food, and found some more tasty chicken. It had been a moon since she had been abducted, and her scars from Fang had started slowly healing. Night was much more fair than Fang had been, but had repeatedly hinted at "The Trials," that she had to complete to become a full warrior of BloodClan. In the clans, she'd be roughly a third through her apprenticeship. But BloodClan had less to learn than the clans, she guessed. No code, no territory boundaries. No limits. She had started growing used to BloodClan, and as much as she hated to admit it, it had started to become home. She barely went anywhere without another cat, and she had recently befriended another trainee named Smoke. His brother, Ash, was kinda like him, but quieter, less friendly. Smoke, on the other hand, was cheerful and optimistic, always seeing the best in everything. She used to be like that, Flame guessed. Smoke would die for this makeshift clan, however. Would Flame?

Flame had grown further apart from her sister, and she sometimes felt herself fearing they would never be as close as they used to be.

"Today your Trials will take place. I will take you to the place, and they shall begin. I can't tell you what they are, but know this, Flame. Every cat here had to do it."

Shrugging, she leapt down from the fence. They stopped in a kittypet yard, where a small brown tom lay, grooming himself.

"Oh hello!" He said cheerfully, before freezing when he noticed Night's collar.

"Kill him." Night ordered. Flame snuck forwards, giving the innocent kittypet a chance to run. The chance wasn't taken. He remained staring at her, petrified. Flame leapt on him, their sizes almost equally matched. He made a feeble attempt to kick her off, but she dodged, and returned to her position on his chest, pinning him down.

"Please.. please.. Roxy and Olive and Artemis have all been killed just this past season. Twinkle will be all alone." He sobbed. Flame glanced at Night, who flicked her tail impatiently. Hurry up. It seemed to say. Flame unsheathed her claws.

"I'm sorry." She said, before slashing the side of his throat, right at the jugular for a quick death. He let out a strangled cry, then went limp. Guilt flooded through Flame, and she bent down over his body.

"May your journey be a swift and painless one. May you have good hunting, fast running, and shelter when you sleep. And may your StarClan wrap their tail around you and protect you from any dangers." She murmured. Night padded over to her.

"Now take his collar." She said. When Flame made no move to do so, keeping her head bowed in a mourning position, Night did so, ripping the green collar off of the kittypet, a crunch coming from his neck as it snapped. Flame winced, and Night slipped the collar over her neck, pulling the cord to tighten it. Flame stared at her, numb.

"The collar represents your journey to becoming a true warrior of BloodClan." Night explained. Flame flicked her tail at the body.

"Are we going to bury it?" She asked, her voice as quiet as a mouse's. Night shook her head.

"We leave it here for any scavengers."

Flame felt sick. The thought of his body being torn apart by crows, foxes, maybe even other cats, disgusted her.

"I'm burying him." She said firmly, starting to dig in the soft earth. Night stared at her, before wordlessly coming to help.

"You will tell no-one about this. Not a soul." She hissed under her breath as she used her little black paws to scoop away at the dirt. Flame nodded, grateful for her help.

When they had hollowed out a big enough hole, they gently moved the body into the hole.

"It was hard for me, too." Night said softly. Flame gave her a disbelieving look.

"You?" She scoffed, "No way." Her tough, fearless trainer?

Night shrugged.

"Mine was a kittypet named CoCo. I leapt into her garden and she smiled at me. Said hi. Offered me a tulip from the garden. I visit their den sometimes. The rule in BloodClan is that a house cannot be used for the Trials more than once every 60 moons, so this house is safe for a while." She stared sadly at the body of the nameless kittypet, before starting to sweep the dirt over the grave with her fluffy black tail.

Flame stayed silent for a moment, out of respect for CoCo, the corpse laying in front of her, and all the kittypets who had died for The Trials.

"My father was a kittypet." Flame said quietly, remembering. Night nodded.

"We know. Scourge was as well, though only a few know that. I knew from his littermates, Socks and Ruby, who visited. Scourge's relationship with some of us was.. Complicated. There were a few cats chasing after him. Some wanted power, some genuinely liked him."

Flame nodded. There were two sides to this story. The clan had always described BloodClan as a nuisance to be rid of, but BloodClan probably saw it a different way.

"Can I hear more about him? Scourge, I mean?" Flame asked quietly as they leapt back over the fence. Night glanced at her, surprised at the request.

"Wasn't he a villian in the clans?" Flame nodded.

"Yes. But I want to hear both sides. Doesn't BloodClan despise Firestar?" Night shrugged, as if to say, 'fair point.'

"He was.. Brave. It seemed like he genuinely wanted what was best for us. He took us in as kits, or just those who had no one left. A lot of cats simply stayed by his side in fear, those were the ones that bolted when he died. He was a very small cat, as you've probably heard, but he made up for that with his wit. He was aloof to most of us, but some, he let get inside his walls. One such cat, named Shatter, she.. Betrayed him. Betrayed us. She made him fall in love with her, then tried to kill him in his sleep, she was part of a group of other rogues. Bone tackled her away, but it was Scourge who killed her. That's when he became much worse. He started using cats who disobeyed as examples, and killed them slowly. He told the surrounding rogues to join him, leave, or be killed. He became cold, calculating. He started to take joy in killing. Bone definitely slowed down his fall to insanity, and Scourge was his old self with Bone, but he hit the cold floor of madness with a bone-shattering impact. Then Tigerstar approached him soon after, and offered him a deal: Help him kill the clans, and their territory would be his. They would lead side by side. Bone tried to convince him not to, but by that point he would hardly listen to anybody." Night let out a small choke, "He told us we would drive them out or die trying. He told us to be ruthless. I think by that point he was so obsessed with not letting anyone order him around like he had been in his youth, that he would do anything to stay on top. And that's how he died." Night bent down her head, and Flame leaned against her comfortingly. Maybe Scourge hadn't been that bad a cat. Maybe the clans just twisted him around to fit him into the mold of a one-sided villian no one would feel bad about killing. Bone certainly didn't seem that bad. Maybe BloodClan was an alright place. She certainly didn't hate it - she had even grown used to the scavenging for food.

Okay, just to be clear on this - I am NOT making Scourge a good cat. I'm just trying to pull him out of the mold ThunderClan saw him in, into what the BloodClan cats must've seen in him when he started out their leader. I know there are some "Rise of Scourge" books, but I don't remember them, and therefore I am, as of right now, disregarding it as not canon. Sorry guys!

Ooh, so we're getting a bit of development on Flame! She's starting to sympathize with BloodClan! Also I just realized - Flame matches both Fire and Blaze.. But question time! :D

Did you find the reason that Blaze is normally so nice to Leafy / Rain? If so, be sure to point it out in your review! :D

How's your spring break going? If you're not on spring break yet, tell me how your week's been going!

What do you think is going to happen next? I'll give you a hint, LEAFY MY CHILD DON'T EAT THE BERRIESSSSSSS.

Things to expect in the next chapter:

- Rain has a dream like the dudes in Tangled. (I'VE GOT A DREAM, HE'S GOT A DREAMMMM)

- Sandstorm screeches at her mate

- Cinderpelt regrets her life decisions

(I'm kidding on the last one, and the above were mainly jokes, lol, sorry.)

Also I can paste the allegiances in if you'd like tomorrow as like a bonus or something, I just have to do some tiny edits, maybe collar colors and stuff. Anyways! DEMON will have its new chapter out soon, i've been done for two days! :D Thank you all for reading, and please review! Reviews give me motivation to get chapters out faster! Speaking of reviews!

Fastbreeze37: Thanks! I'm thinking of putting a list in the story of the things i've added to BloodClan in an authors note later, such as Scourge's fall to insanity, The Trials and the ear slash thing, but idk.

Fastbreeze37 (guest): Ye, I kinda like Blaze too, he's much sweeter than most of the cats here- I can't make them ALL mean, right? Actually I guess that's the point of BloodClan, but regardless.

FreeEcho: AHHH HIIII! And thanks! :D

Thank you to those who faved and followed, and special thank you to those who reviewed! Love you all!

This was a really long authors note so imma cut it off, see you next time!
