I am back with another chapter. I'll be brief with my author's notes, I was busy with things and I thought it would take another month but I finished early! Anyways... The sound of a gun was heard in the forest…

Now…

Meliodas looked behind him, smoke was coming from a tree where a bullet-sized hole could be seen. He then looked back at Carah who was still smiling, as she was pointing a multi-barreled pistol at his direction. Smoke was also coming out from the gun, clearly indicating that the bullet came most likely from it.

Meliodas just stared at Carah, just observing what her next move would be.

Carah, who was still smiling, suddenly pulled the trigger of the multi-barreled pistol continuously, the gun firing bullets consecutively all moving towards Meliodas at almost the speed of sound.

Meliodas easily dodged all the bullets that were heading towards him. Carah looked amused and impressed at the same time, still having a smile on her face. It looked like Carah was testing the waters.

Carah then reloaded her gun with new ammo. This time firing only two bullets towards Meliodas. Meliodas in response just bend his head to the side as the two bullets went past him. But as the two earlier bullets were behind Meliodas, he saw another pair of bullets were already at him. Meliodas was surprised since he was careless. He quickly ducked, avoiding the pair of bullets. He then sensed ripples in the air heading towards him as he was ducking. He rolled to his left and a second later, the sound of two bullets hitting the ground where he previously stood.

Two holes were smoking from the ground were the bullets hit. Meliodas just stared at it for a moment then looked at Carah, who was still smiling at him. "You know~~ you won't accomplish anything if you are just going to keep dodging~~." Carah said as she was reloading her gun once more. "But if your intention is to get shot, then be my guest. I'll fill you up full of holes."

Carah wasted no time in pulling the trigger continuously once more. But this time, bullets after bullets came after Meliodas, as she keeps reloading her gun after she empties it. Meliodas just keeps on dodging the bullets with ease.

After a minute of bombarding Meliodas with bullets, the battlefield was full of bullets holes and bullets lying on the ground, Carah stopped and frowned at Meliodas. "I feel like this is getting boring for the both of us."

"How about we take things up a notch?" Carah said, regaining her smile.

As soon as Carah finished reloading her gun, she was soon enveloped in a yellow aura. She then put some of the aura to her gun, engulfing it in yellow.

"Here, hope you can dodge this." She said as her smile turned into a smirk.

She then pulled the trigger once more, as two bullets went towards Meliodas. But what was peculiar with the bullets was that it was also enveloped in the same yellow aura Carah had.

Meliodas once again dodged by sidestepping to his right. But as soon as he dodged, the two bullets made a quick U-turn and were once again going towards him. Meliodas felt that something was coming towards his head from behind, so he quickly turned his head to the side. The two bullets then went past him and once again made a U-turn, repeating the same process once again.

"So you still think you can keep dodging huh? Then here have some more!"

Bullets after bullets were fired by Carah. As Meliodas continued to dodge, the bullets that were pursuing him also increased. Soon, a group of bullets were continuously pursuing Meliodas, coming from all directions.

Meliodas just stopped in place, not moving.

'Got him' Carah thought. 'As soon as all those bullets are at least near him about an inch before touching his body, I'll stop all the bullets.'

"Looks like this is the end." Carah said, her victory assured as she was sporting a smug smile.

Meliodas then suddenly moved. With the stick that he had picked up earlier in his hand, he raised it above his head and did the unthinkable…

Well at least for Carah…

His arm became a blur and hit all the bullets that were pursuing him.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Carah exclaimed. The smug smile that she had vanished and was replaced with utmost shock.

The scene that unfolded in front of her, shocked her. He hit all her mana infused bullets with a stick, a thin stick!That he picked up from the ground. Him using his sword might make the shock lessen, but a stick? A literal STICK?! Seriously?!

Meliodas then dashed towards her, with his stick in hand. Carah then snapped out of her stupor and jumped backwards, while also firing her bullets towards him.

Meliodas just parried them all with ease and continued his pursuit. What Carah saw was that Meliodas blurred and the next thing he saw was that he was gone from her vision.

She soon felt a rough sensation in contact with her neck. She looked down and it was the stick that Meliodas picked up earlier. She soon looked at her back and Meliodas was there, smiling at her.

"Looks like it's a draw huh?" She said sighing and she then smiled afterward.

If looked closely from a third person's point of view, it could be seen that Carah's gun was also pointed at the center Meliodas's forehead.

Meliodas just nods and brought down his "weapon". Carah also does the same and put back her pistol to its holder.

"You're a monster, you know that?" Carah said offhandedly. "Not only can you dodge my bullets with ease, but you just parried them all with a stick!"

Meliodas just silently looks at Carah with a questioning look.

"…"

*Sigh* "I guess I could entrust my cute little Sarah to you huh?" Carah said teasingly with a teasing smile and a wink.

"…"

"What? No reaction? Not even a little bit embarrassed?" Carah gave Meliodas a hopeful look, trying to get some sort reaction from him.

"…" She was only met by silence.

Carah had a look of disappointment. "You could've at least retorted something you know?" *sigh*

They both then returned to the Fortune House, leaving the forest full of bullets and bullet holes.

The rest of the day went smoothly, with Sarah shying away from Meliodas, staring at him then blushing shortly after. While Carah teases her daughter every chance she gets, making the daughters blush an even darker shade of red. Sam would just see this unfold, chuckle a humorless laugh and would just smile wryly.

Meliodas then went back home, with the objection of both the mother-daughter duo, saying that he should at least stay for dinner. But Meliodas refused their offer much to the relief of someone, *cough* Sam *cough*.

Flash Back End

A voice soon broke Meliodas out of his musings, "Sorry for the wait Sir, here is our Special for today!" Said happily by the waitress that took his order earlier. "Mashed potatoes with beef steak and a side of greens! Hope you enjoy!" The waitress said with a beaming smile.

"Thank you." Meliodas said returning the smile of the waitress with a smile of his own.

The waitress just nodded to Meliodas and then went to the other costumers to get their orders as well. Meliodas just enjoyed his food, eating slowly while observing how well made the beef steak was.

Meanwhile… At the Fortune Island. (A/n: This is the name of the Island of the Fortune Family; Carah, Sam and Sarah's Island.)

At the Sam Fortune's Workshop, near the sea. We can see Sam writing something on a journal. After he finishes writing, he kept the journal in the drawer. He then sighed and moved his shoulders tiredly.

"Now that's done, I need to check on his boat." He said.

He went outside his workshop. The view outside his workshop was pretty beautiful. The sight of the sea, that had a clear view of what was below it. In his vision, he could see the three boats. The boat that he had created over the week, their family boat that was a legacy from his pops that he fixed and improved, well, he is the best shipwright in the world, ok maybe just Bilgewater. And the other boat…

'Wait… three boats…?' he thought, confused.

He then felt something smashed behind his head and the next thing he saw was darkness. Sam had fallen unconscious, and its culprit behind him, holding a gun. To be precise, it was a flintlock. The culprit tied him up, then threw Sam into the third boat, which was a rowboat to be more accurate. Before he untied it, making it drift along with the waves, he shot a few holes to the boat, slowly sinking it.

"Hu ha ha ha ha ha har." He laughed then he winced. "The injuries me received from that "brat" still hurts."

The culprit was a big bearded man, sporting your usual pirate captain attire with the black pirate captain tricorne hat with his jolly roger mark embroidered in gold at the top of his head, a red and black captains coat with golden linings, with a white shirt underneath and a red sash, as well as a pair of black trousers and classic brown swashbuckler boots. What was a peculiar sight, was that he had bandages all over his entire body. Especially his face, his face was obscured by the bandages that covered his face. One wouldn't be able to recognize him, especially those that don't really know him, if it wasn't for his attire and his voice.

"Alrighty, part one is complete hu ha ha ha ha ha har!" He laughed once more 0and quickly holds his chest as he winced once again.

"Now for part two of me plan" He said while limping towards his destination.

After limping towards his destination for who knows how long, he finally arrived. It was a Gunsmith Workshop. He then saw a little girl who has her back in front him, unsuspecting and happily playing with a gun made up of sticks and rope. He smirked. It was all too easy, he thought. He then did the same thing he to Sam. He knocked her unconscious.

Now with part two of his plan complete, he can finally initiate part three…

Meanwhile… Somewhere near to the fortune Island somewhat…

"Hmm…? Is that…?" Said someone…

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand finally done… I am trying to familiarize myself with writing once more. I have been so busy that I had no time to update and when I was trying to come up with the chapter 8 story board, I got writer's block. Anyways… I am done and the Bilgewater Arc is ending next chapter! :D Now, can you guys guess which destination will our Demon Prince go? Ok R and R people. Anyways see you!
