It was the week of Christmas. Everyone in Auradon was getting ready for the most wonderful day of the year. Christmas. The day where all the loved ones gather together, open presents, sit by the fire sipping on their warm hot cocoa and watch a family Christmas movie while cuddling together.

Benjamin, or Ben, the King of Auradon ran through the Castle in his pajamas looking for his sister while holding the mistletoe in his hand. His sister, Nicole, was making hot cocoa for herself in the kitchen when her older brother burst into the kitchen, startling her.

"Ben! What the heck are you doing!?" Nicole exclaimed as Ben smirked and held up the mistletoe. Nicole gasped before running away from her brother.

"Oh, no you don't." He said chasing after her as the two laughed.

"Mom! Ben's chasing me with a mistletoe!" Nicole shouted once she spotted her parents walking down the stairs. Belle giggled as Adam smiled.

"Well, it is the week of Christmas." Belle replied as Nicole gasped and stopped running as Ben ran to her and put the mistletoe above them and kissed her cheek.

"Ick." Nicole said as Ben laughed with his parents.

"He's still the same." Nicole thought to herself as she remembered when she and Ben were children and he would do the same, chase her around the Castle trying to kiss her cheek while holding the mistletoe above him.

After kissing his mother's cheek, Ben walked up the stairs and towards his bedroom where his wife was sleeping peacefully. Ben burst through into the room making Mal jump up screaming before throwing a pillow at Ben.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" She yelled as Ben laughed and walked over to her and held the mistletoe above them. Mal huffed and looked away before she felt Ben kissing her neck.

"Ben..." Mal whined as Ben's chuckles vibrated onto her skin.

"Either...Give me a kiss or I will keep annoying you for the rest of the day." He replied making Mal roll her eyes at him before smiling and kissing his lips passionately. Ben chuckled and parted from her.

"I love you."

"I love you more, Beautiful." Ben said making Mal blush before he helped her up and they both got ready for the day.

IN THE HALLWAYS

It was finally the day Chad was waiting for. Nicole was finally home, she got to come home for the holidays before going back to France for Fashion Design school.
Ever since they were kids, Chad had always had a crush on the Princess of Auradon. No one knew except for Doug. If Ben were to ever find out, he would've killed Chad already. Chad poked his head from around the corner to see Nicole talking with her parents. Chad looked over at Doug and nodded his head. Doug cleared his throat and walked over to the trio.

"Hey! What is that!?" Doug yelled as he pointed out of the window making Belle, Adam, and Nicole look outside.

"What is it?"

"I don't see anything."

"What the hell is it, Doug?"

"Just keep looking! It was a-a blue and yellow hummingbird." Doug lied as Chad ran and quickly hung mistletoe over the archway to the kitchen.

"Blue and yellow?" Nicole asked as Doug nodded before looking at Chad who nodded at him.

"Ah, you guys missed it." Doug said making Nicole scoff and the older couple rolled their eyes.

"Anyways...Gotta go!" Doug exclaimed as he ran away.

"He's getting weirder and weirder everyday." Nicole mumbled as her parents chuckled.

"Heyyy, Ni-"

"What do you want, Chad?" Nicole asked as she looked at Chad with a raised eyebrow.

"I...There's something for the three of you in the kitchen." He replied as Nicole and her parents shared a glance before walking to the kitchen.

Belle and Adam had walked in first but, Adam had noticed something hanging on the doorway. He looked up and smirked before stopping his wife, grabbing her face and kissing her passionately as she softly moaned making Nicole quietly giggle. Belle kissed her husband with the same amount of passion before both parting from each other.

"I love you."

"I love you too." Belle replied before the two walked into the kitchen. Nicole sighed before walking into the kitchen unaware that Chad was right behind her. As soon as she was in the doorway, Chad pulled her and made her stay under the mistletoe.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Nicole asked with a raised eyebrow as Chad smiled.

"Look up." He said making Nicole roll her eyes and look up to see the mistletoe.

"Oh, no. No. No, no, no, no. No. No!"

"Oh, yes." Chad said as Nicole shook her head and looked at her parents.

"Sorry, Princess. It's a mistletoe." Adam shrugged as Belle nodded making their daughter scoff.

"Ugh! Unbelievable!"

"It's either...You kiss me or...I'll keep running around, following you with a mistletoe above me until you kiss me." Chad smirked as Nicole groaned.

"Fine." She said, finally giving in. Chad smiled before leaning down and kissing Nicole's lips.

"Finally! I finally got to kiss her! My one true, beautiful crush!" Chad thought to himself as he kissed Nicole.

"Ugh! Get him off me! Why is he still kissing me!? Why am I still kissing him!? Why isn't my parents helping me!? What the fuck!?" Nicole thought to herself before pushing Chad away gently and smiling at him.

"Thank you...Chad..." She said before walking away as Chad stood there with a love-struck face.

"She liked it." He thought to himself.

"I hated it!" Nicole thought to herself as she shook her head, trying to get the even of what just happened, out of her head.

Adam chuckled and clapped his hand on Chad's back.

"Savour the moment, you'll never get it again." He said as he and Belle walked out of the kitchen laughing as Chad sighed dreamily.

LATER THAT DAY

Ever since Chad kissed Nicole under the mistletoe, Nicole tries avoiding him while Chad tries to lure her towards the plant once again. Ben, Mal, and the others figure out what's going on and smirk at each other.

"Someone has a crush on a certain someone." Jay teases as Chad blushes and Nicole rolls her eyes and sits between her parents on the sofa.

"So...Which one of you is it?" Audrey asks as Jane scoffs.

"I think we all know that it's Chad. Nicole's not dumb enough to date his ugly butt." Jane said making the teens snicker at Chad while the elder couple bit their cheek, trying to stop them from laughing.

"No. I. Do. Not!" Chad shouted making Doug look at him with a serious face.

"Woah, Chad. Calm down. You almost blew the charming right out of you." Doug said making everyone burst into laughter as Chad huffed and stomped angrily out of the Living room. Nicole looked back and felt bad.

"Stop teasing him guys! Y'all were like him as well! I know very well y'all hated it when your friends teased you about your crush. Especially you Doug." Nicole said, standing up making everyone look down embarrassed as Nicole scoffed and walked out of the room.

"Dang. Now, I feel bad." Lonnie said as everyone else nodded.

"That was a good comeback though, Dopey Junior." Ben said as Doug smiled.

"Thanks, Beast Junior."

"He don't even look like him. Dad had fifteen girls running after him while Ben only had two." Evie said making everyone burst into laughter except Ben who rolled his eyes and looked away.

IN CHAD'S BEDROOM

Chad heard a knock at the door making him groan before he heard the voice behind it.

"Chad?" Nicole called out softly as Chad stayed quiet.

Nicole sighed before saying, "Chad. I know you're in there. I can literally see your shadow standing near the door."

Chad looked down and face-palmed as he realized his shadow was blocking the light from the doorway, he sighed and opened the door to see Nicole giving him a warm smile.

"Hey. Don't worry about them. They should be ashamed." Nicole said as Chad shrugged.

"It's fine."

"No, it's not. Anyways...I've got a surprise for you." She said making Chad frown before she held her hand above them.

"Look up." She said as Chad looked up to see her holding the mistletoe. Chad chuckled softly as he looked back down at his crush.

"Nick...It's alr-"

"Just shut up and kiss me. My hands gettin' tired." Nicole said in an annoyed tone making Chad roll his eyes before he leaned down and kissed her lips passionately. To his surprise, he was shocked when she felt her kiss him back before parting from him.

"You know...You're not so bad, Charming Junior." Nicole smirked as Chad fake laughed.

"Neither are you, Belle Junior." He replied as the two laughed.

"Wanna grab some hot cocoa and go to the ice rink?" Nicole asked as Chad raised an eyebrow.

"Shouldn't I be the one to ask you out?"

"We're just grabbing hot cocoa. It's not a date." Nicole replied in a "duh" tone as Chad smiled embarrassed making Nicole giggle.

"Come on, Mr. Bashful." She said as Chad scoffed before the two laughed. The two walked down the stairs, grabbed their coats, and decided to walk to the park where the ice rink was.

For Chad, it was a bit awkward since this was the first time he and Nicole were alone but, Nicole didn't mind. He was a friend and a friend she should treat him. Plus, he wasn't so bad as before. He changed for her, just as her father had changed for her mother.
